This cafe is around multiple offices which gives these employees the perfect place to have a quick bite or spend some quality time with their peers post work. Who could say no to some amazing coffee here along with your buddies. The menu is extensive and you have multiple choices ranging from healthy food to steaks and burgers. My favorites are the salads and pastas here. The staff is warm and welcoming exactly like the owners and the food is exceptionally great. Do give this cafe a try and you will definitely not regret it.
Amazing food. It’s like the chef puts in a lot of love in each plate. Gone here multiple times as my office is situated right behind . Just love the ambience and food. Love the Thai curry, pasta , salads and wedges here

Sausage & golden onion sandwich is delicious. Juicy, golden onion gravy filling. They serve caramel custard, cheesecake etc as well which are good too.
Cafe Kaara has been a staple for my wife for a bit now.
So we decided to go for it with a bunch of people !
Firstly let me start of by saying that their service and tea is almost excellent.
We had two cups of the honey lemon ginger tea , healthy and excellent !
There was also an ice tea and a pumpkin spice latte which was good.
For food we had the margarita pizza which was good , the Greek salad which did not have enough feta and the mushroom steak ( special of the day ) and it was great !
The thorn in the bush happened to be the second cup of pumpkin spiced latte which we ordered and this one happened to be with coconut milk.
There was something wrong with the milk I’m assuming and my friend got home and just puked her brains out.
I guess it happens , but it did and unfortunately I guess I’m
Gonna deduct one point for that alone.
Will visit again , will stay away from coconut milk.
I've been five times in the last two weeks to get takeaway coffee as my office is close by. In four of those times, I was served slightly different concoctions of the same cappucino (including one that wasn't coffee at all, which I only realised after getting to my office and trying it!), including at different prices! The coffee is good, but I wish you guys figured out standardisation - what you serve shouldn't be entirely dependent on which server is making the coffee!
THIS CAFE IS A FRICKING GEM IN BANGALORE.
Loved everything , I'm not a sandwich person but I loved your sandwiches especially the coleslaw sandwich , loved it 6/5 for that.
Hot chocolate with marshmallow are very rare in banaglore and I'm so glad I found your place , actually my parents did. I'd travel 15km every week I'd I had to for your Sunday breakfast.
Omelette was cooked to perfection.
Also egg and mayo sandwich , so simple but delicious and just perfectness.
This cafe is run by a couple who looked like they are so passionate and love what they were doing.
Service is pretty fast and the Ambiance is simple but lively there's a lot of light inside.
Would love to visit for lunch or dinner sometime
Keep it up
Also this cafe is pet friendly , which is a plus point and it's right opposite the beautiful ulsoor lake.
Considering the high prices - Lack of proper seating place is little disappointing. Rest taste and quality of food was good .
My colleagues and are great fans of this place as it always manages to put a smile on your face, specially on days which are not so kind on us. This cafe is like our rescue, our escape from the madness at home, as their food, beverages and the deserts are all so fresh and comforting.
And the ambience is just perfect,
it's like sitting in the courtyard of a house and enjoying a meal with good company. The service is slow but be rest assured that your food will come freshly cooked. From the pasta, to the Thai curry and rice, to the burgers and the Chef's special, everything is just lip-smacking good.
During one of our visits, we didn't quite like one desert and the cafe owners were prompt in replacing it and even apologized for the experience. It is these moments of truth that build loyalty and affinity to a place, isn't it?
Good ambience, friendly staff and good caramel cake. Goes wonderfully with a good coffee.
This is a lovely little Cafe on Ulsoor road. It looks very inviting and that's how we ended up going there. They have a great indoor outdoor seating area underneath a big jackfruit tree.
We were there for a quick lunch and ordered Chicken arrabbiata pasta and their Flourless Chocolate pecan cake. Pasta was very delicious and the chocolate cake was very moist and tasted good. Overall it was a nice experience.
The food tastes amazing and the staff was so lovely. Even though the place is adjacent to the road it is cosy.
Went here one evening, and thoroughly enjoyed. Cafe Kaara is a quaint little place, and if the weather plays along, it's wonderful to sit in the open. Our total bill was ~900₹, for two people. Ordered cappucino, a paneer steak in pesto sauce (special of the day), a vegetarian pizza, and a chocolate pecan pie. The food was delicious, worth the price.
Edit: Have made additional visits to the place, and their sandwiches are delicious :)
The host and the staff was the friendliest and most helpful, the food was extraordinary, the peanut butter and caramel smoothie just out of this world, over all satisfaction, need more stars to rate this venue, cheers🤙
Went to Marzipan on ulsoor road but they were closed by 8 pm, so was looking for a place to have hot chocolate and came across this petite Cafe close to it.
Its a small place with both indoor and outdoor seating with nice menu and awesome host/owner. Had tomato basil soup and one special dish of the day (totally forgot its name but photo attached) and loved it. And hot chocolate was good too. Give it a try, you will not regret it..
This place is a must try for cafe lovers. The ambience is outstanding as well as the food. I ordered their basil chicken it was a healthy and tasty option. The taste was yummylicous and the veggies they served along with the chicken were a top-up to it. Pastries looked yummy too.. Staffs were friendly professional and quick in their service. I will definitely visit this place again.
We just had the appetizer the price was reasonable for the quality of food provided. Overall
Food quality 5/5
Staff service 5/5
Ambience 5/5
Price 5/5
Value for money 5/5
Located on Ulsoor main road is a snug cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. The place is filled with a lot of small plants and wooden furniture. There are also strings of vintage bulbs hanging upfront which makes the whole place even more welcoming. Since this place was a pit stop for us, we couldn’t really eat anything. We did order coffee which was amazing and was presented superbly. You can take your coffee al fresco and enjoy the vista of Ulsoor lake especially at night...
It's a small place with an outdoor seating and had a very cute cafe vibe. The food served was really good. Alot of the delicacies are Italian and continental. One thing I really liked about the menu is that they had a North Indian dish which is served either with a paneer or chicken gravy along with a portion of paratha. I would suggest the Creamy paneer tikka masala+ paratha to everyone, it's a simple yet mouth watering dish. The flavours and spice is on point. It's a must try. A delicious, filling and hearty meal.

Bangalore is filled with underrated gems which offer great food, service and experience overall.
Cafe Kaara is one such place. It has two branches, one facing Ulsoor Lake and the other on Ulsoor Road. I had visited the latter.
There’s something about a place that just feels right when you’re with the right company. So as Maria Sharapova once said, “It's easy to impress me. I don't need a fancy party to be happy. Just good friends, good food, and good laughs. I'm happy. I'm satisfied. I'm content.”
That was pretty much my experience at Cafe Kaara. After loads of travelling, the city felt more alive to me once I had my friends back. That mixed with good food makes you a very happy person.
Cafe Kaara has a diverse menu and they do a good job with each dish. We ordered a Thai green curry with basil rice and a smoked chicken risotto.
The Thai green curry was a little bit on the spicy side for my friend who got accustomed to bland food in Canada and London. But nonetheless, she loved it. The flavours were authentic and the portions were adequate.
My smoked chicken risotto was out of this world. I loved how rich the flavours were and the smokey aspect of it. I would have gone for a second round if I could because it was that good.
The staff here wear a warm smile on their face and are more than happy to attend to your needs. I love how customer oriented they are and I find that a fine ingredient for success in this industry.
This was such a rare pleasant surprise, the potato wedges were so crispy, and the dip was a swirl of white and chipotle mayo. The menu initially looked really generic and finally we decided on a chicken mushroom and cheese sandwich - it was so creamy and fresh and sublime. It was the first time my sister didn't pull out her fresh cucumber and tomato. I don't eat a lot of meat and I couldn't resist it. You know it's good food when you feel light and it's a surprise. The two of us split one sandwich and were full for ages after. Our waiter was extremely polite and attentive too. Can't wait to come back!
Very welcoming and cozy, serving good coffee and really good food (pastas especially). Best place to de-stress after a full day's work!!!!
A must visit and chill place!!!!
What a fantastic place this is with really yummy food, especially their veg breakfast and pastries/cakes are mouth watering. The peach iced tea is a good relaxant. Ambience, service has been great. The staff are courteous and the management has a great hospitality. Highly recommend this place. I visit this place once in 2-3 days.
One should & must try their blueberry cheese cake. Great going Kaara and team.
Really great place to chill out and sit with friends or family. Peaceful ambience and really good food. Also kudos to the management for being friendly and accommodating.
Tiny cafe on the busy Ulsoor Road.
It's a very small place with mainly outdoor seating. You could see the traffic and have a meal (doesn't sound appealing, I know, but keep reading). The service is quite laid back, they take atleast 20 mins to serve you the ordered food. The pricing is okay - similar to the popular cafes in Bangalore. The food is oh-so-so-goood - mostly Italian and desserts ! They also serve some Indian dishes. The Vegetable Au Gratin was my favourite dish - it's loaded with flavours of cheese and vegetables, do try it. My next favourite dish was the Pink Sauce Pasta - it's the tangy indian-italian taste. The chicken pizza was tasty as well - lots of chicken and cheese. Their carrot muffin was fine, nothing extraordinary. Their special chocolate truffle cake felt heavenly - not too sweet and the right amount of dark chocolate.
Definitely recommend this place for the food they serve.
Fun casual atmosphere. Definitely try their almond peanut milk shake. In food, we ordered pink sauce pasta, that was tasty.
Lasagna was average because of the overpowering black pepper
Went there for lunch as it's closest to my office ordered risotto and chicken makhanwala. Both tasted good. Would really recommend this place!!
One of my favorite places to end up after a busy day. Love the food and the service is excellent.
My only concern is that due to lack of enough tables inside (only 3 tables), and more seating space outside, Non-smokers have no other option but to sit on the outside, and be a victim to passive smoking.
Suggestion would be to not let people smoke anywhere near the table but let them do the same outside the premises if they wish to.
Hoping that a healthy suggestion would be considered and trust me, it would make a good difference.
Great job otherwise and would visit again with little hope of seeing a “No smoking” board outside😅
Thanks!!!
I loved every bit of this place. Even though it is bang on the main road and crowded, there is something really peaceful and soulful about the place.
There is this huge tree, under which there are seatings and it definitely elevates your experience.
We ordered-
-Chicken basil pesto pasta
-hot chocolate
- americano
- veg sandwich
I should say that the pasta is very different, than the ones i have tasted till date and it has a crunch to it. Not sure what it was and it was spicy(which i generally don't prefer in a pasta) but loved it in this.
Drinks were good but one thing that they could improve is their service, but no complaints. Can't blame them, because the place was really crowded and it is definitely difficult to service so many customers.
Would definitely recommend this place.
Overall- 4/5
Ambiance-5/5

Cafe Kaara is one of the most underrated cafes in Bangalore. The place has a lovely vibe along with great food and service. I have tried their PASTA, SALAD, LASAGNA and BURGER and let me assure you that everything tastes amazing. Service time is close to 15 mins because they make everything fresh. They also have PUMPKIN LATTE which is something unique. Even their HOT CHOCOLATE is quite comforting. It's a perfect place to unwind on your own or even for a date; quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. Just get a book, plug in your earphones and enjoy the vibe over some yummy pasta and coffee. Pricing is decent, a meal for two would cost somewhere around 600-800/-
See you soon.
Bon Appetit :)
This cafe is a small place in Ulsoor. We had pasta and hot chocolate. Sorry I didn't take the picture of the pasta.
I had the chicken Alfredo which was good and creamy. The hot chocolate was great. It was thick and the right amount of sweet. I loved this place.
Will definitely visit this place again.
Easily one of the cutest little cafe spots in Bangalore! The food is so comforting and is pretty no fuss. They have a little bit of everything to offer on their menu & the staff is always really sweet and helpful 🧡
Great place for a relaxed Sunday morning breakfast! Definitely going to visit again soon :) Reasonable prices and good service too. Nice ambience.
Value for money. The outside sitting makes for a casual and comfortable ambience. We tried chicken risotto, fish fingers, panner, flourless cake, wedges, Pasta and thai green rice, brocolli soup and pizza.
Except the soup everything else was decent.
Food:4/5
Ambience:4/5
A great place to visit! I ordered a risotto which was so creamy and delicious, creamy murg masala which was very flavoursome and the hot cocoa is also pretty good.
Food : I ordered a sugarless cappuccino and egg white omelette with brown bread toast. Omelette was beautifully done and the toast had just the right amount of butter, enough to make it crispy and white retaining the softness of butter.
Cappuccino was delightful.
Service : The server Biswajit from Kolkata was very polite and attentive.
Ambience : The setting was open air under the shade of a Huge and shady Jackfruit tree. With wooden tables and and iron chairs, not to forget the cute white fresh chrysanthemum Flowers on each table... the whole decor makes you want to linger in the cafe...
Overall, a lovely experience
As has been the norm with me since the past few months, this review comes almost a month late 🙈. Came across this cute cafe while strolling near Ulsoor lake and decided to try it out. The cafe is very nicely done, has a very cosy feel and you instantly feel welcomed. We ordered Cheesy Garlic Bread and 2 cappuccinos. They also served us complimentary plum cake as they had completed a year on that particular day. Have to say the food is good, portions are enough and the plum cake was moist and rich. Service is great. Loved it!!
I love this place as i think this has been the only outlet which has done justice to the loaction.
Perfectly located at the corner facing ulsoor lake with jast the right choice of menu to fulfill a wide platte of taste. A cafe with all day breakfast menu option is perfect.
A cute setting and good friendly staff make it a perfect place to go to with friends family or a casual business meet.
Keep up the good job.
Well i do really hope you start the breakfast in sundays by 8. The website and the outlet timing says 8 am onwards..but i have never seen tbis place open at 8. I know as i pass your cafe everyday while on the way to work around 8.30 am and i see it shut🙁
To the guys who like key lime pie(i know a lot of people who dont) IT'S AMAZINGGG. I also have a friend who can vouch for their apple pie(when they make it.. its dont think its a regular on the menu). Great hot chocolate (REALLY GOOD cold coffee). Cant wait to try their mains!
Sweet and small space with friendly staff.
I was here yesterday.. had pesto pasta.. which was really good.
Will be going again to try more things on the menu.
Good coffee, prompt service. The outdoor seating can get noisy and dusty - thanks to being off the main road. Limited seating indoor. But good place to hang out off peak hours or over weekends.
Been going to this place for almost an year now. Love it. The consistency they maintain is unbelievable. I would recommend chicken korma with paratha or rice.
This restaurant is down the lane from my office and I did visit here for a lunch. Ambience and Service are good, however Food was more delicious. By the way, I ordered 'Strawberry + Kiwi Smoothie' and 'Veg Creamy Basil Pesto with Penne Pasta'. Kudos! Keep it Up!
Charming little place in Ulsoor
Had multiple meals within a week at the place and each better than the last one
Super friendly staff with great knowledge about the menu and recommendations
Tip : make sure you sit outside
This is one of my favourite cafes in bangalore. Its right behind my office and Entire team loves to hang out at this place. Its got a lovely ambience to it and the food quality is never compromised. The Taste is always fantabulous with a lovely host radha who always welcomes you with her lovely smile...:) one of the best places to hangout with your friends.... also don't forget their muffins...best in town...
Visited this place a month back with a friend and it sure is a great cafe! The set up cozy and laid back, it’s nice to sit by the street chatting away to a great cup of coffee. The service was impeccable, love the hostess who made sure we felt very welcomed and taken care of. The sandwich was amazingly delicious and one that you’d get abroad. The coffee was great as well as the dessert. I’d definitely visit this cafe again!!
Visited Ulsoor Rd after a long time to see this new place.
My favorite on that road was and still is Marzipan.
But this place can give Marzipan a run for their money.
Had this quinoa salad, as am on a diet at the moment. Was well made.
Maybe I'll try something new next time.
Beautiful place, quiet and calm. Limited menu but great taste with appropriate portion size. The ambience is soothing and pretty. You can also have a meal there or just visit for a cup of coffee.. I loved the place, try it :)
Great ambiance, decent coffee and lovely owners. Try the daily specials - great place for lunch or dinner and best food you can have nearby.
1) food nice
2) staff good
3) ambience simple and nice
4) location of restaurant very nice
5) over all cafe Kaara nice places and to time pass this places is nice good
Visiting Cafe Kaara is always a delight. I love their specials, never fails to make me happy! Their food is prepared with a lot of love and care. And value for money too! I love the fact that the servers recognise repeat customers and recommend food based on our previous orders — that’s really commendable, given how busy they are everyday. It’s a chirpy little place with a great ambience, and I always recommend it to anyone visiting Ulsoor. Their desserts are good, and the salads/ soups are perfect for the health conscious. They fill you in all the right ways :) cheers to the team at Cafe Kaara (pssst, they’re open all days, and from 9.30am to 10pm), so even if you want to take a late lunch break that’s absolutely ok, because Kaara is open through the day!
Nice looking urban cafe on the main road, but the whole atmosphere looks nice and the owners of the cafe are so warm and welcoming. When it comes to food, you would never think a cafe food would be tasty and have main course as well. This was my second visit today and I really like the place.
Keep it up guys!
The place is very well organised , the staff there is warm and hospitable . Nice ambience . Tried the hot chocolate there and it was quiet good .
A Cosy little place nestled in ulsoor. Polite staff, amazing Ambience and great food. Ordered for a veg soup of the day - Khao suey - 5/5
Pesto aglio olio- 3.5/5
Caramel cake 4/5
Overall a good place ☺️
This place surpassed my expectations...it's a quiet little cafe at Ulsoor...with very few tables surrounding a beautiful jackfruit tree ...the owners are very friendly and interactive ...this place has one of the best Italian dishes I have come across in the city ! The pesto pasta was incredible...I went to this place just expecting a nice meal but it turned into a romantic candlelight dinner date...the food was incredible ..will definitely be visiting this place again to try out the rest of the menu
It’s a beautiful and a cozy place to grab quick bites! It’s a open cafe!
Friendly staff which adds more essence!
I really loved caramelised pancake with banana & chocolate!
We had to leave early as it started raining!
But trust me there were good amount of crowd
Would like to try again and try other dishes!😊
Best place in Bangalore to hangout and chill in peace.with amazing food and great ambiance.
Totally loved this place.Would definitely recommend people to check this place out.
I had visited this cafe for lunch. The cafe is small and looks cozy. I had sat outside under a jackfruit tree with cool breeze on my face. I had ordered caramel peanut butter milkshake, peri peri chicken pizza and key lime pie for dessert. The milkshake was really good. The pizza tasted good and was light. I loved the dessert. The prices are light on your wallet making this place almost perfect. Good food, nice seating and affordable prices. The only wrinkle was reminding the waiter to bring water repeatedly. Apart from the wrinkle, I would absolutely recommend this place.
A very cosy outlet for a quick bite !! Tried their pizzas and pastas. The deserts are a must try! Loved this chicken pizza which was thin crust and loaded with cheese! Their caramel Custard and cheese cakes are a must try😍
It's a very cute place with good amount of food and dessert offerings.they serve original lavazza coffees which is unavailable at most fancy/regular Cafe's.the seating is a little cramped outside with fans, otherwise it's def a good place to go back for a meal or other offerings.one of my regular places now.the host/owner is mostly there with her charm to bowl you over and she is very passionate about the place which most people ain't these days !
Ordered veg grilled sandwich and chocolate shake. The sandwich was very good and fresh , however the shake was too sweet for my palate. Cafe needs to work on their service which was very disappointing to say the least.
This is an excellent place to work out from, which is precisely the kind of thing I’m into. I have mixed feelings about the food since I enjoyed the steak burger but not the pancakes which I took home (even the maple syrup was very less in quantity for the pancakes and I used some honey that I had at home). Frankly, I’ve had much better pancakes at other places and would not recommend it here. In drinks, the hot chocolate and “sulaimani” chai were the ones I’ve tried so far and they were both good. The ambience is great with option for outdoor seating as well and it’s really good for chilling with friends or even to take a date here. The waiter Altaf was the one who served me on all the visits I’ve had so far and he was very courteous and resourceful to make it an enjoyable meal. I would definitely be coming to this place to work out of and I would recommend it to any fellow digital nomads as well.

Had been to Cafe Kaara today. Loved the food and simple ambiance. We ordered pasta Alfredo and pasta arrabaita which were good, chicken pizza with sausage was also good. Veg lasagna was creamy, cheesy and tasty too. We did not like the drinks. We ordered Mango milkshake which tasted like caramel and chocolate milkshake which tasted like bournvita. The desserts were heavenly. We tasted tiramisu and flour less pastry. Apart from the drinks, we loved everything else.
The service was excellent too.
This place has sitting arrangement inside and outside. There are standing fans outside so the place was not very hot too. We loved the outside sitting arrangement.
Had visited for a quick lunch on a weekday afternoon. This is little open place on the Ulsoor Road service a broad enough menu. Veg Arrabiata pasta and Ice tea were good. Service was quick and the price is reasonable.
Cutest cafe in the neighbourhood, the nicest owners and of course, the best key lime pie I’ve had in Bangalore. I also love that they’re open till 10!
Tried cheese cake over here and must say it had a very rich flavor... It was soo heavy that hardly any space was left to try other dish... Overall good ambience and nicely managed....
A very nice place to grab a quick bite. The menu has variety. We went in a group of 8 and everyone loved the food.
It’s an open restaurant - may get hot if you go during noon time. Also, noisy place - it’s pretty close to road. This apart, very nice ambience, friendly staff and good food.
Itemised review
Veg grilled Sandwich - brown bread with sun dried tomatoes- portion is quite small but very tasty.
Veg sandwiches with Basil & pesto sauce - it has very creamy layer of cottage cheese and pesto sauce was very well balanced. Quantity is small.
Veg burger - amazing Taste. They serve it with crispy patty, portion of fries and coleslaw salad. It’s heavy for one of you are a light eater.
DESSERTS - THEY are AMAZING. The best ones around. Had lemon tart ( eggless) and tiramisu. Tiramisu was extraordinarily good.
Must visit for a quick bite if you work around the area. Service can be a bit slow at time. Also, outside seating is smoking zone so keep this in mind.
Excellent Food quality, taste. escpecially you must try the Specials of that day ( Not to miss the soups ) . the staff are also very friendly
Quite like the quaint little cafe. Ordered frappe and a sandwich with special low calorie request which was met with enthusiasm. The lady who owns the place is very friendly and was quite nice to my little daughter and offered to take her around while I enjoyed my time with friends. I'm of course not too comfortable with the idea in general but she was where I could see her and the lady's own daughter was also around and they quite enjoyed each other's company.
I'm going with a 5 star for the friendliness and going out of their way to make us comfortable.
The coffee was great ! The sandwich nice too. Will definitely go back again.
Cafe Kaara serves delicious food that's reasonably priced. The ambience is just great(take the sit-out table) and the best part - the menu is made of simple multi cuisine eats that are quite perfectly portioned.
Special mention: Paneer sabji with Kerala Paratha & Aglio Olio Pasta are super tasty.
This is a new cafe on the street. Very well utilisation of the small place. The staff are polite and always have a smile on their face. The food is very good. The ambience is apt for all types of customers - business, frds, solo visitor, etc.
I would like to recommend they put a net as a roof for the outdoor seating as the dry leaves from the trees keep falling. Secondly, the menu cards can b laminated. Lastly, the Blackboard that reads special item of the day needs to b placed in a much more visible place. However, Love visiting the place with frds n after office hours:)
Superb food 👍
Looking forward to visit it again
Yum yum smoked chicken ceaser salad 👌
This place is close to my gym ,so its easy for me to binge on low calorie food items
❤️✌️🤗
Just went for a lazy lunch..Amazing feel and setup. The Food , Service and the Hospitality is impeccable. Strongly Recommend this place.Kudos Team Cafe Kaara.
For the starters, it’s an open cafe located at Ulsoor Road, right in front of Salarpuriya Windsor.I have already visited the place thrice in last couple of weeks and I’m pretty sure the count of the visits shall surely go up.It’s an ideal place to be at during evening, even better with friends or to just have some I time. When it comes to the food, they do have a good variety and the flavour, presentation and the taste is well taken care of, everytime. Their cappuccino and basil pesto aglio e olio were amazing. The pancakes are a little disappointing, as they’re a little dry and you feel like having a sweet bread.Overall a nice experience; the breeze in the open with the greenery of crotons around makes it even more pleasing.
Nice, quaint ambience. Perfect for a lunch during work. Seating is a bit limited and it can get hot this summer in the outdoors area with only one fan. Food was terrific. The chicken bake, veg risotto and blueberry cheesecake were to die for.
Staff is friendly and cordial. Food service is a bit on the slower side but can be neglected once you taste it. Would visit here over and over again.
A delightful little cafe on the roadside. I went there with one of my buddies and I must say that we had a great time catching up and savoring the food. The cafe is little small with limited indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered one masala omelet, maple syrup pancake, and latte coffee. The food was tasty with good presentation and also easy on the pocket. Overall a pleasant experience.
Amazing and a very friendly place
Great location and great food is the highlight of the place The cafe offers some great stuff to eat and drink totally a hangout place
😄
A nice little cafe ulsoor road! Everything we ordered was great!
Chicken Ranch Peri Peri was a delicious thin crust pizza!
Blueberry shake was awesome!
Fries were good!
Chocolate cake was extremely rich as we were advised, loved it.. but be warned that it's very difficult for one person to finish it! It's sooooooo rich :)
Staff were friendly! More than anything, the owner of the place who probably doubles up as restaurant manager was terrific! She walked upto each table asking if they are liking the food and if they are comfortable! Demonstration of actually caring for the customer! Making me give this cafe a full 5/5
So you just happen to be in bangalore... And this quaint cafe catches your eye...the warm neighbourhood ambience, the even warmer welcome of the hostess... And awesome food(amongst others, the thin crust pizza with the springy cheese... Yum) will make your day!!!check it out if you are in the garden city... Cheers!!!

A very cute little eatery that's located by the roadside in Ulsoor. Its got a very coffee shop kind of vibe to it but can actually serve a pretty good array of options for a full meal. We ordered a mushroom risotto a spinach pizza and a chicken pasta with pink sauce. The risotto was the standout for me with some good mushroom flavour it was a well-made risotto. The Pizza was a little rustic and a little low on the spinach but was rather enjoyable. While the pasta was enjoyed by my mates, I didn't really care much for it, it had a very predictable and pronounced flavour of store-bought seasoning. We rounded off the meal with a couple of black cherry sodas a key lime pie and a flourless chocolate cake. all three were simply outstanding and along with the mushroom risotto are my picks for the must-haves on this menu. With a total whack of just around Rs 1500, it was rather easy on the pocket and made for some good value for money. As long as you visit when the traffic is low the overall experience is pretty good. Pros: - value for money - tasty fresh food, good variety - quick and efficient service Cons: - traffic and noise by the roadside
Hi. The host is such a lovely person that you feel at home! The food is good too; the choices are limited and that's not necessarily a bad thing. You can watch the world go by as you enjoy your meal. It's a busy street so plan your travel accordingly; parking is an issue. Overall, a great experience.
Quick, easy and pleasant service. The owner is out there interacting with all customers and recognises on returning. Friendly staff and yummy food. Step in for a quick bite or for coffee
Peaceful place! Good ambience. Love the coffee here.
Budget friendly! Must try for those who are around Ulsoor area.
Also, love the owner. They treat you so well.
Kaara's food is personalised, fresh, and never monotonous with their ever-changing menu. I've had most of their desserts, which are to die for (you must must must try their key lime pie. Best in the city.) The pizzas are wholesome, and their thai green curry can be made just the way you like it. Choice of vegetable, spice, anything. To drink, I'd highly recommend their tender coconut milkshake. If you're a fan of the Naturals' tender coconut ice cream, you'll probably find a worthy suitor. All this, the reasonable prices, and pretty candles of course, make Kaara a definite yes from me. And not to forget, the hosts are warm and hospitable, and always open to suggestions.
We went for a New Year dinner and ordered Chicken Steak with Honey Mustard Sauce and Alio e aglio basil pesto pasta and both tasted amazing. The steak was too good with proper roasted veggies, mashed potatoes and bread.
The ambience is good, pricing is okay, not over-priced and the taste was bang on.
I definitely recommend this place to everyone.
We just went here after passing ulsoor lake its right in front of it, we were hungry and just wanted to have a good food after entering the cafe i was very skeptical how the food will be as the vibes were dull.
Ordered risotto, hazelnut frappe and chilli cheese toast, the order came fast enough and it was surprisingly very very delicious. Had the best frappe and risotto was delicious just perfect.
Giving food star full 5 on 5 only sad thing was the ambiance it was pretty dull. Little off vibes i guess they should do something about the decor but highly recommend for the food
Amazingly delicious food. Keema pao I had here was one of the best I have ever gad anywhere. Four of us ordered different veg and non veg dishes, coffees and drinks and everyone was more than happy with the food quality and taste. Service is excellent. Prices reasonable. Would recommend wholeheartedly.
Amazing ambience and location. Right in front of Ulsoor lake.
Food and beverage options are great. I tried the Chicken Lasagna, though the quanitiy was little, it tasted amazing.
Service could have been better. I had to go and fetch myself a menu card. Also, after food waited for 15 mins and nobody seemed to care to get the bill, so went and informed the barista and still after 5 mins nobody got it for me. So there is huge scope of improvement there.
The food was absolutely exceptional. Each dish was crafted with precision and bursting with flavor. The menu offered a wide range of options, from enticing starters to decadent desserts. Been going here from the time the place opened and nothing has changed service and taste wise.
Great peaceful ambience & lovely food.
We had lunch here, I'm a vegetarian so I ate potato wedges & veg burger, while my friend ate chicken peri peri steak. We absolutely loved it.
The flaourless chocolate cake is a must try, it melts in your mouth.
I wish to come here again for breakfast some time or to just relax some evening
Its a well designed small cozy place with both indoor and outdoor seating.
The place is right opposite to the lake though you don’t really get the lake view.
Food is good with options to choose from both in vegetarian and non-vegetarian.
Decent pricing for the quantity and quality.
The staff are courteous, well dressed and well mannered too.
I have had the pleasure of visiting Kaara Cafe on multiple occasions, and each time I have been greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff and the owner are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home.
The menu at Kaara Cafe offers a variety of delectable treats, and I have had the opportunity to try a few of them. One standout recommendation that I received was the cocktail samosas, and they did not disappoint. The combination of flavors and spices in the samosas was delightful, and I thoroughly enjoyed them.
Most recently, I decided to try the corn and cheese tarts, and I must say they lived up to my expectations. The tarts were perfectly baked, with a crispy crust and a delicious filling of corn and cheese. It was a delightful combination that left me wanting more.
When it comes to beverages, Kaara Cafe has some excellent options. My personal favorite is the Irish frappe. It's a rich and creamy coffee-based drink with a hint of Irish flavor that adds a delightful twist. Another recommendation from the staff was the strawberry and banana smoothie, and I found it to be refreshing and packed with fruity goodness.
Absolutely lovely place with the tastiest of food. Lot of options to eat as well. The place has a good ambiance though the cafe looks small its pretty decent and welcoming . If I talk about the taste of the food I love every thing here. Price is also reasonable.
A great little cafe near the lake. The place has both indoor and outdoor seating, both of which were immaculately clean.
Consider coming to this place at around seven in the evening when the lake park is closed.
The coffee and desserts here are top-notch. And the ambience combined with the view of the lake is very soothing.
The outdoor seating is pet friendly from what I could tell, that’s always a bonus.
Amazing pet friendly place! And a lovely place to unwind.
It is a great café by the lake they have both outdoor & indoor seating I loved the outdoor seating the most. The food was amazing, we ordered for Peri Peri Fries, Green Thai Curry Rice & Strawberry smoothies. The service is good and so are the staff. I will come back again to try some coffee and desserts.
It was just a stop for me, didn't explore much of menu, just spiced Latte and it was good. Friendly staff. Good ambience, simple. Both inside and open sitting options available. Parking seems to an issue as it is located just next to a busy crossroad. Right across front road, lake is there. Probably will visit again sometime.
Amazing pet friendly place! Awesome food, we went for brunch and had the set breakfasts... so good! Also the caramel peanut butter milkshake is simply decadent and amazing! The key lime pie has a wonderfully crumbly buttery crust and nice tart filling. Our dog thoroughly enjoyed his sausages and bask in the sun. The view of ulsoor lake is an added bonus. All in all a lovely morning spent!
Well maintained little cafe near by lake. This place offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Had a snack time here. Felt bit costly but food was good.
A great place to unwind. Beautifully kept restaurant and aesthetically one of the best places I have been! Great job done 👍.
Food :- menu is a bouquet of hand picked good dishes ( unlike 100 dishes on the menu and restaurants telling them they are not available or stocked out).
Recommend food:-
Soups:- tomato basil soup
the Portion and taste is beautiful and comes with a crisp garlic toast on the side
Mains:-
Penne Alfredo veg:- creamy, rich tossed with zucchini and veggies.. a must try
Veg lasagne:- wonderful ... The sauce, the pasta.. beautifully dished in a cast iron pan the lasgne was hot till the last bite with oodles of cheese... Simply awesome
Hot dog:- the mustard sauce is the hero... And I really love it 🤠
Service:- you may have to wait depending on the crowd as the food did take 15mins to reach. What makes you feel special is the owner walking over to each table, taking time to meet her customers, speaking about the specials of the day which otherwise could have been done by the manager... This makes a big difference, thank you...Ms. Radha..
Came for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Ordered bbq chicken & grilled veg sandwich. Both were nicely done.
Followed by iced cafe & kiwi strawberry smoothie. Very delicious.
The potato wedges were also very crispy & tasty.
The service was managed well despite the weekend rush.
A nice restaurant by the lake, though you don’t get a perfect view for the same.
Has indoor and outdoor seating well maintained and pleasant decors which makes the place to relax.
You also get very good food to much on with your loved ones. The staffs were so courteous for their customers and make you feel comfortable for the ambience. I didn’t find a negative thing to point out- was fully satisfied with the dining experience.
