Thalis here are too good. If u want to eat proper north indian food then this is the place specially when it comes to lunch and dinner. Starters are ok though I feel it can be quite better. Alot of variety and snacks are available and it tastes good too. Jalebi rabdi is my favourite as we don't get it everywhere here. Suji golgappas are love.
You would find this little bit costly, but the quality of the sweets and chats are good. If you love jilebis then you should try. Costly but good and it's fried only in ghee.Yum food. Perfect place for North Indian food cravings.. many options in chats, sweets. They serve north indian combos too.
Good taste..! Place for parking is available.
A lovely place to spend time with family for sure where in you get to have chats thats authentic to its sense as pure north indian flavour is given
.
I always have Masala puri here and Rasmalai its so soft that it literally melts in when u take a bite
.
Hot jelabis and hot or cold badam milk also is present for a complete experience for children
.
This place is indeed like a package for chats, sweets, dry fruit and everything to make your experience pleasant in this place
Well, Have a mixed feeling with this place
Most of the sweets are tremendously good and most are not
And the texture and flavour varies everytime
So something you order today may not taste the same when you order next
That’s the only complaint
Namkeens are good, sweets are good but vary in taste everytime
Tasty channa batura&samosa
Sriranjini Vijayasimha
+4
Great tasty food, especially parathas and phulkas sabzi combos. Worth every penny. But it's a self-service outlet. Highly recommended pure vegetarian food outlet. Clean and well maintained.
Amazing place to enjoy north india chats from pals I chat, dahi puri, pani puri, aloo tikki, chole Bhature.. don’t forget to try yummy crispy jalebi 😊
Must try their RABRI JALEBI it is absolutely delicious . Crispy hot jalebis dipped in thick rabri. Always a wonderful experience. Also try their halka fulka meal if you miss your home food.

A hidden gem! If you stay around Hennur/Kothnur area, give it a visit today itself. Situated on the New Airport Road bang opposite Salarpuria Gold Summit, parking is limited but the guard will help you get a slot. Once you enter, it resembles any haldiram joint, with a wide variety of sweets, chaat, snacks as well as main course. I believe their menu on Zomato is not updated as they have huge options
This visit, we tried Bread pakoda, raj-kachori, Dahi papdi & rava golgappa (a rarity in Bangalore). All of this was cooked/prepared to perfection. If you close your eyes you won't feel that you are not sitting somewhere in Delhi or up north.
I saw that they had Chole-bhature, vada paav, Dave I, jhal muri and a lot more. They also offer north Indian main course dishes but as I could not try that, will update later about the taste.
Price wise is would say it's mid range.
Coming to the final score card
Taste 5
Ambience 4 (chat counter was bit hassled but it was very crowded so I will give them that)
Price 4
Overall 4.5
Good place for chaats. Also snack items such as pav bhaji are decent. The aloo tikki is sometimes not great but the papdi chaat is good. The service is also quick so overall a good experience to visit this place. Has limited car parking if you visit during peak times.
Decent place. Quick access eatery for various gated communities in the local surroundings. Like a place to which you would walk down on an evening after little shopping with family. Has all sections of food - from starters to desserts.. clean and hygienic ambience, food is served sufficient, but a little over priced.. nonetheless, good food and nice in taste. So, thumbs up 👍🏻
Good food and taste.
Nice place to eat vagitarian food.
Sweets are awesome and tasty.
Beat place for chat items
Service is very good
Happy with delivery
The Dahi Puri chaat here is to die for. It's got so much thick curd and it's so filling. It could even make for a dinner. The paneer dishes here are just amazing. If you're looking for rich veg food, this is the place you gotta hit.
All time favorite chat palace. Yes the samosa chat served here is delicious. Along with, this sweets place is favorite for all other sweet items but I liked chat moreover than other food.
A very good place for North Indian thali, chats and Vada pav. Sweets are really fresh, chats are best in the evening after work. North Indian thalis are available both for lunch and dinner. Like the ambience and crowd is also a good one.
This is the best chaat store I have ever been.It has the most clean and the best ambience. The sweets here are the best.It is a good place for a evening snack.
Wonderful chaats and paranthas.. For someone who has a North Indian pallette this place is a must visit.. Not many places in Bangalore have the authenticity in the taste as they do
This place is easy to locate. Went here 3-4 times. The food here is on the costlier side. It's not worth the money you pay for each dish. They serve different chaats but they aren't great or mouth watering or so. Sweets are good. If you are looking for the authentic taste then its not the place for you.
The vadapav was just mind blowing everyone should try it but i just dint liked the rasgullas.
If there was an option of 3.5, that would be my true rating for Sangam, but since their service has improved drastically over the past years, if there was a choice between three and four, it's pretty clear as to what I have chosen. Sangam is a great place for poeple to experience authentic North Indian chats with Rick flavour, great taste and good quantity. Some are unreasonably expensive, yet worth it once you taste it. They only serve veg food but their Panneer, Chola and Dal manage to keep my taste buds interested every time I visit the place. Their jalebis are also well known and they also offer various kinds of sweets for different occasions. Their assortments of pickle, paapad and other items are also worth checking out. Overall, the food is tasty but they could try to improve the ambience of the place.
Nice place for north Indian chats and sweets. I love their pav bhaji, dabeli and jalebi with rabri. They also have some unique sweets which are very rare to find in bangalore.
I ordered for garlic naan, butter paneer masala and motichoor laddoo♥️😍♥️😍 for a home delivery. Everything was great. The food was delivered on time and the quantity and quality of the food was good too.
This is my second visit to Sangam.
The place is neat, except for the wash area. Service is good except for cashier taking their own time. Food is tasty, except for the drinks which can be better.
Ordered sweet lassi, lime juice, aloo tiki chaat, papad pyaaz paratha, kulcha chole and grilled veg sandwich.
Its one of the nearby place I love to visit whenever I crave for chats. They have very yummy chats as well as love the hot jalebies. They also sell varieties of sweets and namkeens. So definitely buying something way back home always happen with me. Recently I ordered the veg thali for home delivery and found it really nice at that price. So overall love the place but I miss the tea last time when I ask them to enjoy with kachori... I hope they serve tea as well.
Good place for sweet toothed people. They serve chats also. They also sell homemade pickles and cakes. They have a large variety of sweets and savouries.
Awesome place for all kinds of sweets and chats. I am a regular here, and love the rasmalai and masala puri. They have a large array of various food items right from sweets to chats to rotis and main course / rice & north indian cuisine. They have pretty good seating too. Would recommend both dine-in and takeaway.
The food is tasty especially the north Indian meal variety like paneer gravy, aloo paratha . 1 point less rating because of the cooking and frying smoke in the sitting area, which becomes uncomfortable to be seated in there after a while and for the burning spices in few chat items.
Was craving for chats and sweets and Sangam Sweets came to my mind. Tried their Rasmalai, Soan Papdi and Pav Bhaaji. Rasmalai was yum, but was bit watery this time than the earlier one which I had few months back. Soan Papdi was nice, soft melt in the mouth delicacy.
Paav Bhaaji was super. Served hot and happy. Recommend this for chat and sweet people like me ☺️
A high class sweets and chat place located in Kothanur. The location lends it a good advantage since it is easily accessible from the main road and the place is primarily frequented by residents around the area.
Price is slightly on the higher side but the quality is great! Service could be a bit faster though, but while you sit at your table, a warm ambience surrounds you.
Good quality sweets worth the high price.. More north Indian options... Have lot of options for chats.. A good sweet stall in the neighbourhood
Love this place! Perfect for any occasion. A quick snack, sweets for a festival or even as a dine in. The chaats are delicious - try the Dhakkia but you may want to ask for some extra spice. No compromise on quality for sure - thick curd, crispy sev, well-filled kachoris and samosas. The variety in sweets is endless. Will keep visiting.
The Pav Bhaji from here would definitely get you to true Mumbaian authentic Pav Bhaji. Ras Malai is no less and the rate is pretty affordable too. Being a person of this particular area, it's a very nice opportunity for me to have one among the tastiest option in this locality. Lassi would be loved by those who have sweet tooth. More to explore in here.
A delightful experience! Most of the food items are pretty good, the chaats are a must have.. the only downside is the ambience and the sweets, which didn't live up to the expectations.
Super place for chaat lovers. The taste is so like western Indian... Enjoy eating pani puri, chaats and hot yummy jalebis here. Their sweets are not so great but their chaats and Northern Indian food is just perfect to taste. I was overwhelmed to eat undhiya in bangalore with perfect taste... Here... They have Gujarati farsan... Must pick
Amazing vegetarian food as we are vegetarians I this is awesome andhome delivery is the best.
Combos can have more options otherwise all well.,...😃😃
Edited the review, one drawback is when we order for home delivery he dosen't get card payment neither Paytm only cash accepted.
North Indian Goodness - All the Way
I chanced upon this place 3 months ago while on a trip for some work to North Bangalore. A local school academic recommended Sangam as a viable food alternative to the South Indian dosas and idli routine.
That was the best suggestion that came my way that week. Ordered Dahi Bhalla, Jalebi, Milk Cake and Paav Bhaaji for 3 people. The Dahi Bhalla was authentic old Delhi style with the perfect balance of sour, sweet and salt in layers. It melts in the mouth and explodes with the herbs and spices as you scrunch on the food.
Ditto for Jalebis, freshly made right in front of you. This was the thin variety and it was a treat. Packed some 250 gms for home.
The milk cake again turned out to be the real deal, just as it is made in every town and city in Haryana. Packed 250 gms for home. :)
The Paav Bhaji was great as well.
This a self service place and as a result the prices are very very affordable.
DAhi Bhalla 55,
Paav Bhaji75,
Kachori 15
Loved the genuine and authentic taste that Sangam could bring out in their dishes.
After being in Bangalore for 2 years this is the first time I felt good eating food in Bangalore. If you are from North of the Vindhyas you will love it. If you are from the South, go get a bite soon.
On my most recent revisit to the place 2 days ago. tried some more items. Great authentic items. In the scorching summer of Bangalore I wish they had real ice cool lassis, chhaach etc. They do have them but not really cold.
This restaurant has really good north indian food ranging from chats, fulkas, parothas and sweets. Despite the name Sangam Sweets, it is a good place to dine.
As others have mentioned, ambiance can definitely be improved. It is all self serve at the restaurant which is fine, but the seating area can get hot and humid very quickly in the summer which can make the experience unpleasant at times.
That said the food is very affordable. You can dine with your family of 4 and still get a bill of just 500 bucks. The staff are courteous and at times allow you to swap subjis with the one you prefer.
They also provide a door delivery service which can be used. However chat items get soggy during travel. Best to have it there.
Good snacks. Actually, the only decent place for casual Indian dining in this godforsaken area. Chaats are good. The packed savories and sweets are decent as well. Has a live Jalebi counter too.
I was here with my family to try out chats. We ordered Bhel Puri, Papdi Chat, Lacha Tokri and pineapple pastries. All the chats tasted really good. The ambiance is fine with lots of sunlight, perfect place to hang out with friends and family. Will go their soon to try out new dishes.
Decent place for snacks. pav bhaji, pani puri, sev puri, rasmalai, veg snadwich are all good. even other things ljke jalebi, fafda etc. can be tried. clean and hygienic place as well. overall can br visited for something quick and cheap. u csn try their khakras as well.
Being a Mumbaite .. my craving for some yummy Chat wasn't satisfied in Bangalore.
Friends recommended this place and i though to give it a chance
We tried ...
Pavbhaji - which was kinda good
Sevpuri - :( on my request to make the same in Gol Puri they made in flat one; i don't understand why in Bangalore noone agrees to make a Sevpuri in Golpuri. The taste was good
Dabeli and Vadapav - thumbs up
Rava panipuri - won't like it if Mumbai Panipuri taste lingers in your mouth
The jalebis were thin cripsy n yummy.
All in all it was a good place to satisfy some of your cravings ...
This is a place that gives some fantastic sweets and chaats. Love the rava pani puri here and most of their parathas are great too. Among the chaats almost any chaat involving curd is amazing here! Do visit this place.
It's my neighbourhood sweets shop. Sangam Barfi is highly recommended. Nice place to spend some time parallel to Hennur bagalur main road especially at night with some cool breeze and quite a buzz. Vada pav is another decent option to have here.
This is one of the places I came while driving along the Hennur Road. One of the main reason this place attracted me was the wonderful lighting and nice ambiance. It’s a fine dining place but a casual dining place. A place where you can stand or sit and have food. A place family and friend can meet up over a cup of coffee or some snacks. A place you can get some mixtures, sweet and also bakery items. Seems like a complete place for a family dining experience at a reasonable price. It is not just another place in Bangalore, they have 4-5 outlets and this one is 2yrs old. I had some conversation with the person at the cash counter and he was telling that it is established in 1963 at Gandhinagar. So, this is some kind of legendary place. Let me share my further thoughts.
Location
If you are on the Outer Ring Road and heading to Hebbal side from KR Puram side, keep driving until you hit upon the Hennu Junction. The ring road goes above the Hennur cross, so you will need to take 1st service road before flyover, which is the 4th considering there is a flyover next to Tin Factory. Then take right and keep driving until you can see the ‘Salapuria – Gold Summit’ apartment. Sangam is located right opposite to it.
Ambiance
A nice place which looks pretty clean. Sitting places are well arranged and it does not look cramped. Clear display of items being sold which makes it easier for customers. Separate section for billing, sweets & spices, pastries & deserts, chaat items.
Food
This is the main reason why I think you should be going to this place. And for when I went there, the first idea is to get a feel by ordering some of the most contemporary dishes.
Cheese Paav Bhaaji + Extra Paav
The subji that is usually given for Paav Bhaaji is supposed to be the main reason for taking Paav Bhaaji. I think they did a pretty good job with the subji as the masalas were added and it was not in excess. There was plenty of tomatoes in it and also the main ingredient from the name ie., Cheese. Loads of cheese was added which easily enhanced the flavours. The quantity was good and apart from the Paav, you could take it with Roti as well.
Paav was pretty fine and nothing too fancy. The main reason for that being, not much of ghee was added and it looked dry. Ideally when you goto the roadside paav bhaaji place, they added butter in excess. May be they can improve on it.
Samosa Masala
This was pretty well made chaat. There was good amount of Samosas in it and masala was added. Lots of seva was also added, which enhances the flavours. If you can add some lemon, the taste is pretty good. It is a little on the spicier side but quite manageable. Spice surely does not eat into the taste.
Lassi
This is something I wanted to try instead of the Cold Badam which was over for the day. The taste was pretty good coz it has a hint of rose flavour in it. Drink for sure is pretty refreshing.
Namkeen – Ghaati
A very famous snack item that can be taken with tea/coffee, which is soft and I think made out of Maida. They had different sizes of it and I got one of the standard shapes. The taste was quite good and I very much enjoyed it.
The packaging was quite good and it shows that they are quite organized.
Mini-Khari Twist
A pretty good snack item with tea. I have noticed that these are available in local bakeries but then they seem to be so oily. Here the taste was pretty good and I enjoyed it quite a bit.
Overall Experience
I am glad to have found a place like Sangam close to my home. The ambiance in the place is good and food is also quite tasty. And the most important point is that it is a vegetarian place. I would currently rate this place at 3.5/5 and for sure would recommend other go and enjoy some vegetarian chaats and food here.
My rating in other departments.
Food – 3.5/5
Service – 3.5/5
Ambiance – 3.5/5
Drinks – 3.5/5
Food for 2 will cost anywhere between INR300-500 depending on items you take.
Amazing place and ambience in here. Snacks served here are amazing and i tried paav bhaaji. Went here in like an year back but hope the place is still the same. Quality-4/5 Quantity-4/5 Price-3/5
Awesome place with lovely sweets and North Indian food. From outside it look like a sweet shop. But do explore and you will find yummy dishes.
If you enter this place on an evening, you will feel the uncontrollable desire to try their hot jalebis. The place fills with the fragrance of the hot ghee. Chats were so delicious and also the sweets so authentic. I tried just a normal milk peda and the light flavour of rose In it made me by a lot of them. So delicious. Try their Agra PETA sandwich. It is just out of the world
A colleague had had jalebis delivered to our office from this place and they were Incredible!! . Each time there was a scramble to polish off 1kg jalebi in no time.So when driving past the place at lunch time we thought of trying it out. The ambience is like that of a cafe and its self service. I had the hulka phulka meal which had 2 fluffy phulkas, dal, panneer butter masala and jeera rice. Paneer was good so were phulkas. Dal was under seasoned and jeera rice was ok. My wife had gobi partha which was decent. The jalebis were still the knockout as they dish them out hot and right in front of you. Go for just the jalebis!!
Perfect place for vegetarians. North indian food served here is delicious. They also serve sandwiches and the chilly cheese sandwich is my favorite! Prices are reasonable. The chats are also amazing but i think they're a bit overpriced.
Went her with my family 4 times so far. It is a self service restaurant and so no comments on the service as such. They have good variety of snacks and chats and are consistently good. Also the prices are reasonable. Ideal place to go for snacks.
A good sweet shop was something that this area lacked and Sangam Sweets has just filled that position. That being said it is not just a sweet shop but serves some good food and chats.
The menu has a "Gujarati Special" section but was informed that we need to order 2 days in advance and is not available readily ....hmmmm.
Overall a good place which is clean and parking is easily available but be advised that it is all self help and no service is provided.
As the special section was unavailable we had:
Malai Kofta - Give it a 4 for taste but 3 for presentation
3 Butter Kulchas - Give it a 4
2 Cold Badam Milks - Give it a 3 as was a bit watery
Bill for above 335/-.
Parceled some sweets and savories for home also :-)
Driving back from the airport last evening, I noticed a small place bearing the name Sangam Sweets just opposite Salarpuria Gold Summit on Hennur Road. As it was a while away from dinner I thought a light snack would be in order.
Neat place with pretty reasonable amount of space as well as efficient service. There was nobody around (maybe the time of day) so they were all ears for my order.
Tried the pav, samosa chaat as well as the plain samosa and concluded the snack with gulab jamun. Everything came into the tasty zone and I cannot say that I didn't like anything. The chaat menu is extensive, reasonably priced and the place is well worth the visit.
Cheers,
Went for breakfast and food was good but service was very slow. Tried chole bhature and bread pakoda and both were good. Definitely a place to try again . The ambiance was good and had enough parking space as well.
The food was absolutely delicious and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend the samosas and the chole bhature. The samosas were perfectly crispy and the filling was flavorful and well-seasoned. The chole bhature was also amazing - the bhature was soft and fluffy and the chole had just the right amount of spice.
The staff was friendly and attentive, and they made sure that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. They were also happy to make recommendations and answer any questions we had about the menu.
The atmosphere at Sangam Sweets is cozy and inviting, with comfortable seating and tasteful decor. It’s the perfect place to relax with friends or family over a delicious meal.
Loved their Dokla, champakali was a little dry, Vada pav and grilled cheese-onion sandwich was good. Parking is on the road.
Amazing sweets ! Wonderous chaats! Nice ambiance. Please visit here ! Try malai Gutta and Raj kachori 😋
If you're looking for the best North Indian chaat in town, this eatery is a must-visit. While it is primarily frequented by North Indians, South Indians should definitely give it a try as well. The menu offers a wide range of delicious options, so be prepared to make some decisions. Don't forget to try their lassi, as it is a must-have. Overall, all their dishes are mouth-watering, and it's difficult to highlight anything in particular since everything is equally delicious. In summary, this place is a must-visit for chaat lovers, regardless of your regional background.
Located right across the Decathlon Hennur Road store, it's a nice place for your dine-in post shopping. Primarily a Sweet Shop, it offers a variety of food items such as Chaat Items and proper North Indian cuisine to order from. I personally had the experience of tasting the Paneer Tikka as well as Paneer Butter Masala and Garlic Naan, and I must say I did not have anything to complain about when it comes to taste. It was nice, it was warm and it was tangy to say the least.
This is our all time favourite restaurant, most of the time we stop on the way to buy sweets for family and friends.
For all functions at home or any celebration, sweet and savory comes from this place.
Or for lazy Sundays Breakfast, lunch and Dinner comes from here.
Varieties of food and pickles. Sangam Sweets was my best pregnancy craving partner.
Nice place. Good food. Friendly staff. The food is so good, it's a challenge to stay in healthy limits :)
Don't miss the fresh hot Jalebi.
Their Sangam special veg cheese sandwich was out of the world. Next time I would request "less crispy" .
Dokhla , Patra (Pathrode) were superb too.
I loved the place. Very nice, clean, hygienic and most important very humble and cooperative staff.
Varieties of sweets available, chats and other snacks items are very tasty and reminded me of khau galli chats in ghatkopar. Many dry snacks available. Excellent joint to get gujarati dry snacks and vada pav. Absolutely loved the place.
Try hot crisp ghee jalwbies served with love and smile...Bengali sweets are new additions. Badam milk was good but slightly expensive for less than 200 ML..
Bakery stuff are great. Dining area can be better managed
Place to go for sweets and north Indian chats. Hot Jilebi rabdi blows the taste buds. Bit pricey but justified for taste.. Seating ambience is a let down.
