The quantity is filling is and tastes amazing. Specially, it was well packed with banana leaf which added so much to the flavour. Best comfort food of fine on a rough weekday !!
Super tasty food with reasonable price ๐๐ kerala food especially โค๏ธ๐๐
I had ordered chicken kothu parotta and trust me it was one of the best I had recently in Bangalore. It was the perfect mix of crispy parotta, well marinated chicken and the malabar flavour of the typical chicken Kothu Parotta.
Nalla nadan kerala food, vazhayilayil choru meen varuthathu acharu chammanthi egg omlet kootukari ,
Went there sometime back and loved the malabar chicken biryani. It was delicious made with right amount of masalas and ingredients. Also I love the beetroot chutney they serve with the biryani. It was so yummm!
Nice ambience, courteous staff and some good music!
Will definitely recommend this place. :)
Ordered in their egg roast with appams, goan fish curry and tom kha soup on a fine Sunday afternoon which only turned finer after eating all the yummy food! Utterly satisfying meal! Absolutely loved the perfect egg roast with the soft moist appams. Fish curry was so hearty and beautifully balanced Chicken Tom kha soup was light, yet full of healthy veggies and wonderful Thai flavours! Thank you Malabar Bay
Amazing service Mr. Shyam
Hi guys....
Very good place for friends and family.
Service provided was very excillent.
Good was tasty and delicious.
Will visit again
The food when delivered was fresh:. Appams and various accomplishments were really good, can avoid idiappam which was too thick and a bit lumpy.
So heard super too much about these guys and happen to visit here, Sunday noon...so positives first: Amazing Kerala food, since we like it we visited here, though itโs difficult to tel the dish names ๐คช I am sure people will love the food here..service is also fine...loved the samba lime, worth trying and the special dish kizhi biriyani chicken...it looks different cs it comes wrapped in plantain leaf and it tastes equally cool...try it! In fact in the end I left my precious bottles back there and they did keep it n thanks I got it back.๐
So to the small negative: Should have been our day and they were serving only in their AC hall and the all full area had been reserved...so had to wait n no one informed us what was happening and we were about to leave ...so this guy happen to talk to us and he fixed it real quick..(the one who spoke to us in proper English in btw)๐ thanks n that was a great help...good food guys...give a try.
The food was good and the service was par excellence. We ordered manglorean chicken, tawa paneer, dal makhanni and kulcha.
One of the best Kerala restutant in Bangalore .
Food 4/5
Ambiance 4/5
Service 3/5
My favorites are Chiken putt, Pathiri, Malabar chicken curry , kattan kappi and Samba lime . The only problem is service , its takes minimum 15 to 25 min to serve a dish .
Had a wonderful experience eating some *quality* Onasadhya after so, so long at this place! The service, hospitality and atmosphere was warm and friendly, even amidst the Onam rush, and the actual sadhya itself was totally worth the wait! ๐ฏ would recommend. :)
Today I had been here for the Onam Sadhya and man I felt nostalgic. The sadhya was exceptionally good. The place was kinda packed and we had to wait for like 15-30 minutes. Man the wait was worth it. The staffs were really friendly and courteous. They managed the crowd well and good. Coming to the sadhya, it was really good that there wasnโt even a single dish that we could say โnot goodโ. Also they were happy to serve again and again all the dishes. The paripu payasam, Aviyal and the pachadi was damn good.
The reason for not giving 5 stars is that I wanna try out the ร la carte and then Iโll change the review.
Good Kerala style food.. must try! We are here right now ....and 140 words seems to be too much to think and type at this very moment.thank you

The veg/ fish lunch meals that are served on weekends are my fav.. with a glass of d magical orange based drink - Simba lime. You need to be in the restaurant by 2:30 pm max though or else d food gets cold!
Other than the meals, we also tried the appams, wayanad pepper chicken, kottu paratha which were all delicious.
Chicken ghee roast was not truly Mangalorean though.
Staff is very courteous and ambience good.
Also, food prices are very reasonable.

Visited Malabar Bay for Saturday dinner. Itโs great Ambience with awesome Kerala food. The best part was we could see the chef cooking our food through large glass window. One of the best thalassery biriyani i had in bangalore. Much authentic than the so called "thalassery" brands. Its less spicy but the thalassery dum touch is there. I tries chicken roast also, so tender, fresh and tasty. Will try other items soon..
Ordered chicken dum biryani, peri peri fish and tava fish. All of them were exceptional. Ended it with a caramel custard which cannot be explained in words. Would recommend it 10/10. โค๏ธ

We visited on a Saturday afternoon, hungry for a traditional Kerala veg meals. We ordered Kerala Veg Meal, Appam, Kerala Parotta, Shappu Curry (Chicken) and Omlette. The veg meals was authentic, tasty and filling. It had a large variety of sides, which were all delicious. Appam was soft and tasty. Kerala parotta was good and fluffy. The Shappu Chicken curry was really really spicy, but in a good way - just the Kerala Toddy Shop style which the menu promised.
Overall, a good meal experience and worth the money.
A place with an authentic taste of Kerala and a pleasent Breakfast spot. The mastery of Chef's in making dishes with perfect blend of experience with masala give out the best taste.
Excellent food and juice. Wide selection with a focus on Kerala food. Have never had a bad meal there. Back after two years. Still excellent food and service. The fish cooked in banana leaves and Kerala paratha are especially noteworthy.
Still great in 2023! Faizel is a great host.
Very good food with the best atmosphere.
Good is very tasty and quality is also good.
Price is on higher end and quantity is perfect for me.
Malabar Bay is one of the finest restaurant you will find in and around SG palya and Thavarekare which has mixture of Kerala and north Indian style food.
I have tried most of thier varieties and my favorite is all fish varieties. Specially those baked in the leaves packed.
All chicken varieties are delicious.
Onam sadhya is a treat you can have here.
Good keralian restaurant with varieties of food options..Had really enjoyed being here. One of the recommended places if you like keralian cuisine(Non Veg). Usually It will not be a crowded place so even if you go here without reserving a table would be fine.
Coming to the dish I personally liked their crab pepper masala and the squid roast.
We get good Kerala food. There is lot of varieties .
Serving is quick. The cutlery and the seats are cosy . There is parking allocated front of the restaurant..check out my pics
The place was not crowded when i reached there at around 9 pm and that too on a sunday. They have good seating arrangements both downstairs as well as upstairs. The food really is tasty. I ordered ghee rice and chicjen roast which was sooo yummy and spicy. Being a malabarian, im sure it has malabar taste. The service is ok ok. The ambience is also good for a family. Will defintely suggest this place to all those people who like kerala food especially malabari food.
Friendly staffs and really good food. Though we were not able to order much ,whatever brought to table was nice . Compared to the few kerala restaurants , rates are reasonable for the services, facilities provided.

Great place to have authentic Kerala cuisine. We had Chicken Podhi for starter and it was lipsmacking delicious. For the main course, mutton stew and appam. The mutton was really tender and juicy. The staff were courteous and ambience is quite good as well
Food is mostly reliable. Except last onam sadhya I have always enjoyed their food. ( Their onam sadhya was pathetic though) Their Irachiputtu, meals, Kizhi items, Chicken-kappabiriyani ,Appam and Keralastyle fish curry, and samba lime are must try.
The restaurant never ceases to amaze with it's wide range of dishes. They specialise in Kerala style cuisine. Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian dishes are equally amazing. One of our all time hangout space. Cordial and accommodating staff.
It's a good place to dine. The price is justified and the atmosphere is smooth
Today (06-09-2022) we have ordered Onasadhya .
It was too delicious and they provide sufficient quantity in neatly packed parcel boxes.
