After schlepping around Koramangala and it's that time of day - grumbling bellies and tired feet signalling you to stop in for a meal, Tibetan Mother's Kitchen is a certain, sure choice. The steeps steps leading up to the restaurant shouldn't be a deterrent. It's all worth it. Small and neat - providing you with a warm meal that's absolutely reasonable is a sure reason to stop. The service is quick and the food (both Tibetan and Chinese) are scrumptious. It's a great place to kickback and relax for a bit and then get on your way.
I’ve been wanting to try this place for ages, the portion is great for the pricing. The vegetable momos was moderate. Bbq pork ribs is to die for. Thenthuk was cooked to perfection. The serving time was very quick. You might want to be a little careful while climbing the staircase. It doesn’t burn your pockets, as the range of pricing is great. You will not regret visiting this restaurant.
This is our go to restaurant in Bangalore whenever we need comfort food or too tired to cook. Tried different dishes including momos, laphings, noodles, soups, broccoli with pork and love every dishes. Every dish can be divided between two persons easily. Eager to go back once things are pretty normal until then I will keep on ordering.
The food was flavorful. Momo kothey with its satly meaty taste and shabalay with its juicy filling and the mothers soecial thupka loaded with meat. But the best of all was veg laphing. It's spiciness won me over.worth it. The tingmo was just ok....but I guess that may be how it should be made.
Pocket and taste/ filling is on point .
The food was brilliant. I would recommend this as the best tibet place to dine in Bengaluru. The thukpa and thenchuk with momos made it whole lot better (soul food fantasy). The place is upstairs kind of hard to reach with it cramped stairs but overall its a cozy place and starters were brilliant.
One of the very few Tibetan joints where you will surely love the food. Used to visit regularly when in Koramangala. Staffs are very friendly. Serving time is also less. I love their chicken starters and also tingmo (all time favourite) . They serve really nice Thenthuk and Thukpa as well. The only problem might be for elderly people to climb the stairs. The stairs are quite steep and scary.
Just love the taste which is simi Tibetan and Indo taste .

One of the best chinese and Tibetan food for a very reasonable price opposite to forum mall. We had-
Pork steamed momos ----- recommended
Chicken manchow soup
Garlic chicken dry ---- recommended
Chilli garlic noodles
Chilli chicken
Each and every item was amazing. Specially the pork momos, extremely juicy and tasty. Manchow soup was perfect. Garlic chicken was very crispy and delicious. Highly recommended place
A true lover of momos will know exactly what they are looking for in a perfect one - the thickness of the dough wrap, the ratio of the dough wrap to the filling, the juiciness of the meat, the right amount of seasoning and I can go on and on, but the point is that the simple, humble momo is not an easy one to crack. One extra minute of steaming, or that addition of chopped spring onions can completely ruin a potentially good piece of momo.
I am from Calcutta, a city sprinkled generously with momo eateries. There are shacks run by Tibetan folks making momos to perfection, and in general, we lot kinda have an understanding of food on a certain unmatched level. So, I was cynical t say the least, when I heard raving reviews about TMK, but boy was I surprised! The first bite into the most sumptuous and juicy momo, and I knew it was love. The momos are steamed to an absolute perfection! The silkiness of the skin, the consistency and oiliness of the filling, every little thing - divine. I have not looked back since. There are many other dishes that are to die for, but the momos take the cake. In Bangalore, if you travel for an hour(paying roughly between Rs.250-400) to reach a spot to eat momos, you know it's backed with some valid reason.
A TMK fan forever.
Today only we went there. We tried steamed chicken momo, fried pork momo, chicken thukpa, flat noodles pork thukpa.
All were excellent. Price is less. Good in taste.
This tiny gem of a cafe on Link Road has some lovely thukpa :) Similar to the Thukpa in Leh! Try the momos too!
A quaint, cozy place that has the best of dishes to offer. Chicken momos were to die for along with the honey chilli potatoes that were a pleasant surprise. The staff is very courteous and welcoming too. Need to visit again.
Quantity should be more . Taste wise it was good. a shorter time for preparation is expected.Looking forward some more pictures to be added in menu so first timmer can be helped
After a long time we went out for lunch. This place had been in my bucket list since long and like fool was ignoring it being just opposite to my work place.
1st thing 1st - Amazing food,less oil, less spice,good portion.
We tried Chicken Sweet corn soup, Mother's special fried rice and Hong Kong chicken. The gravy was superb.
Extremely pocket friendly.
Friendly staff.
Seating place is quite small so u have to wait during peak hours.
Can't wait to try out the rest of the menu 😊
Great food polite staff. Highly recommended
Truly Mother’s kitchen. Freshly cooked and pocket friendly. I highly recommend and try out their varieties and find ur fav.
This place has really good momos noodles are a bit hard very good especially when you're sick or really need a good warn comfort food which fulfils your body and soul.
If you’re looking for good Chinese food at an affordable price then this place is for you.
Ordered : Chicken Sweet Corn Soup
Chicken Steamed Momo
Mixed fried rice
Hong Kong Chicken
Food taste: 4 star
Menu: 3 star. I would expect more authentic Tibetian food with some sort of explanation in menu than typical Indo Chinese food.
Presentation: 2 star
Location: 5 star
Ambiance: 3 star. Steep stairs just like they have in Lhasa!
Tibetan cooking at its best! I had the Chicken Thenthuk which was a mixture of soft, flat noodles with chunks of flavouful chicken and vegetables making it a balanced meal. Do try if you want to explore your food options! ✨

This Tibetan Food Joint is located in Koramangala.
They serve authentic tibetan cuisine at a reasonable price.
Ordered ThenThuk Dry which was very good. Pheng She was also very good and plus we had it with ting mo. La Phing was the disappointed one coz i felt it was tasteless and too spicy.
Overall a good Experience!
Yummy food, amazing ambience, alfresco seating with so so friendly staff, A class restaurant with affordable prices. Keep it up guys :) lovely experience
I ordered the laphing and bamboo shoot rice from here. The laphing was out of this world delicious. The subtle flavours of the bamboo rice made it tasty and light. Loved it. Would definitely recommend for vegans and vegetarians too as all the dishes I ordered were vegan and tasted great.
The best Thupka I have tried in Bangalore till date. I am visiting this place quite often.Apart from Thupka, I always try chilli chicken. The sauce of chicken chilli is unique and delicious. My overall rating is 4.5/5.
Below are the price details:
Chicken Thupka : 100/-
Chilli chicken : 150/-

I have been going to this restaurant for years. The food they serve is delicious and is obviously the best in Bangalore for Tibetan food. I almost order the same things everytime I visit. Chicken lafing is my all time favorite.
It place to get my favorite food
Food was tasty n delicious
We try mother special n sezwan chicken n house made French fry it was quite different n tasty...
I've been going to this place for years till date this place is really good. I really love their thenthuk, honey crispy chicken. One of my recent favorite dish is BBQ smoke chicken wings really good. Affordable price with quantity food.
Best honey chilli potatoes in kora. The chilli pork wasn’t too flavourful but we had it with the Tingmo. The egg thenthuk was good as well. Will try other stuff the next time around.
Tibet mothers kitchen is on the best tibet cuisine restaurant in bangalore, it was worth every sec which I spent there, so first of all I’ll start with the ambience of the place. It at the second floor of a buliding and they have a outdoor dining as well as an indoor dining, ill go for the outdoor for sure , because it has that vibe which you always wanted. Coming to the food we order three main course, which was mothers kitchen special thupka, special Noddles and Chineese chopsuey . In that chicken noodle was sogood it was just perfect. when it comes to thupka and chinese chopsuey it was average, it was almost blant and but thupka was better. We also ordered cold coffee which was good enough .i think whole experience was good enough beacuse i just loved the Chicken noodles and it was so yummy, the service of the Restaurant is also pretty good.
Amazing tibetian food
You can call the restaurant to request customizations
I ordered the Pork thukpa from Zomato lunch meal for 129
The aroma of the spices were fresh and the dish itself was amazing
Food 5/5
Delivery 5/5
Chances of ordering again 5/5

A decent place serving some good food. We have had an average experience though. Ordered a couple of noodles in garlic and hakka. The garlic were just average. Liked the hakka ones better. Decent starters. The plus being its very reasonably priced.
Amazing food.. Excellent service.......
Seating is really limited. .. ...
Food quality and quantity is nice ..
Veg burned garlic rice and honey chilly potato ✨👇
Very authentic Chinese food. Loved their chicken momos. One place where when I eat i dont miss Delhi. Must try if u love Chinese food. U must also try their thukpa and other soups.
The place is very cosy and homely. People are friendly and food is excellent although my favourite is thukpa, a complete dish on it's own. Definitely mothers kitchen, owner is also very nice:-)
Best place for momos. Absolutely for hit down memory lane with the taste of authentic momos. Other preparations were average but momos were the best. The authenticity of the momos here cannot be found elsewhere in Bangalore even in any 5 star fine dining place.
FOOD was indeed great, noodles, thupka all are amazing. Pork chilli and momo is must try. Also tried laphung( special dish) which was beyond delicious
Great food for less than expected price.I ordered Veg Thenthuk (Dry). The flavor was garlicky and hot in general. The texture was smooth and saucy. The dish was a very good match of its base flavor, soft flat noodles, and green leafy veggies. The best part about it: Not so oily, full of flavor and it did cost me just Rs. 100. I would recommend people to visit this place at least once and try its thenthuk and other starters. The ambiance of this place was, I'd say, not very fancy, but the decor did give a Tibetan vibe with its small flag kind of fabric running along the roof in a X, a lot of Tibetan style pictures.Visit this place for great Tibetan food!
If you like your momos with meat and unadulterated with local appropriations (like a mayonnaise dip!) and want it at an extremely reasonable price, this is the place for you. They know how to make their pork dishes and you cannot possibly not like it! Try it!
Best place to have pork in Bangalore... I m eating here for more than 6 years consistently... The taste, flavour, staff behaviour ... everything is perfect...
Must try : chilly pork, sliced pork with mushroom gravy
Ultimate Chinese i ever had in Bangalore and that too cost effective.........Our favorite Menu always:
Starter's: Honey chilli potato, chilli panner
Mains: Tingmu with veg gravy, Veg Thupka.......and that's it.....M loving it
Always an amazing experience here.. Don't mind travelling all the way to Tibetan Mother's kitchen... 😇
Friendly staff.. Knowledgeable about their cuisine.
The other things in the menu are almost the same as any other Tibetan restaurant. But the Laphing is scrumptious. I am from Delhi and was looking for the exact taste of Laphing that I had there and this was the place gave me just that. A must try. Mokthuk and fried rice are good too.
The food is just amazing and it's very budget friendly. The service is equally great. The place is not fancy per se but the food is as good as any. Great place to have quality food.
There crispy honey chicken is heavenly. The Resturant gives a very homely feel and they have some authentic tibetan cuisine. The quantity of the food is also amazing, and is also in a very good location.
Had the chicken thukpa , pork garlic fried rice and steamed bread....The taste is amazing and they provide enough quantity for the rates charged...
Delicious Tibetan fare served on the rooftop that’s only accessible by a very narrow and very rickety staircase. If you’re looking for ambience, decor and fancy cutlery- then you’re looking at the wrong place. But if a delicious meal prepared and served by courteous and friendly staff which is extremely budget friendly - then you must pay this joint a visit.
The honey chilli potatoes are easily the best I’ve tasted. The regular Tibetan favourites like momos, thupka and thandek are all good and don’t fail.
Tibetan Mother's Kitchen has always been my go to place for Tibetan food. Their variety of appetisers, Momo's, and noodles will always leave you confused. Must tries here are the thukpa, the thengthuk, and the Momo's. They have indoor and outdoor seating as well, however is is linked and you may have to wait a bit to get your table. Service is quick, and cost for two is around Rs.300/-.
Love this place,Food was outstanding specially Pork noodles 🍝 ,authentic taste , never fed up of this place.pocket friendly and courteous staff
The food here never dissapointed me its very yummy and reasonable price with good quantity, only one request add beef dish in the menu😀 love to visit again.
Yummy and so satisfying. Best in their genre. Go there everytime I want to eat something spicy. My fav is their Special Thupka, Chilly Paneer and Honey Chilli Potato.♡
Excellent and delicious food. Best restaurant in the Bangalore. Best packaged food delivery. Every one in the Bangalore must taste the food of Tibetan mother’s kitchen.
This is the best place where you get a budget friendly Chinese food. This is not fine dine restaurant so don’t look at its ambience, its small tiny restaurant on 2nd floor. It has very small tricky staircase so be very careful while you go up. Anyway lets talk about the main things here- .the food, I went there so many times, whenever I craved for delicious Tibetian Chinese food. Their chicken thukpa is awesome, and every dishes like noodles , mix fried rice, spicy schezwan chicken, chicken momo all are equally good and quantities wise it worth every penny.
The food here was great - we had the Shabalay and noodles. Totally worth the price. The ambiance was decent, outdoors. The only downside was perhaps that you need to get up some quite steep stairs, do not recommend for those who have leg problems.
I love this restaurant so much.. It is my favourite Tibetan place to go for whenever I am in koramangla. Not only is it located within 100 metres of the Forum mall, it has the best food too.
I always go for the manchow chicken soup & momos. This time I changed it up and ordered the kothey Momo. The half fried half steamed momos were delicious of course. But I do like the classic steamed ones better.
The staff is always attentive & friendly. Service time really does depends on what is ordered and is usually not too long.
Great food. Pocket friendly prices. A tad bit adventure climbing up the narrow stairs for this restaurant but I would happily take this Trek for the lovely food that awaits once reached. 😊😊
Ambiance is not that good but food and service is very nice, very polite staff must try their chicken wonton soup and tingmo , dont try chilly garlic noodles or chicken fried rice
A lot of different varieties to try out and felt pocket friendly too. What let me down was the momos! Since I have eaten only the roadside momos, I am not sure which is the actual momos!!! The momos here was oozing with what seems like oil, not sure if it's chicken fat or oil. Apart from that we loved the crispy honey chicken , double fried pork and the rolled bread.
If u want to have authentic Tibetan dishes dis is d place
I generally order veg lafing(dry) , Tingmo Nd chicken shapta (semi gravy).
It’s for spicy non veg lovers. Only the place is small so sometimes u have to wait for yummy food
A hidden gem and a small joint for Tibetan cuisine..
Tried chicken Momo and chilli potato. I liked both of them especially chilli potato was tasty. Service was very quick.
Over crowded place!!!. You may have to wait for atleast half hour. I guess this implies the popularity and taste.
We ordered Tupka and pork ribs.
Tupka was good but pork was tasty but hard. Price is dirt cheap
Great food, reasonable prices. Though a bit of less space, but the ambience make it worth the tiny space. People are friendly, you can watch football matches and a great place to hangout with friends. And yes, it just opposite to The Forum Mall.
Well... What more, my tastebuds were jiving inside my mouth the whole time. The best Chicken and Pork noodles I have ever tasted.
The ethnic ambience itself will take you to the land of Tibet. And the service is decent. The Quantity and quality of food is descent for the price.
A must go atleast once...
Had a very good experience with food and ambience... Authentic tibetan food at affordable prices... A must try... Ive had tibetan food from many places but this restaurants ticks them all out with their food and friendly attitude.
The steps to culinary delight are steep ! Very steep so you must consider any senior citizens and children coming along ! It is best avoided ! Once you make the climb you are greeted bh a very Tibetan , simple , charming , unassuming interior.
The food is what makes this place noteworthy. The pork chilli, pork steam momos, chicken momos are delectable. Very tasty if you like the Tibetan mellowed taste and extreme mixes with red hot chilli sauce.
Overall a great place for Tibetan food. I am coming here again ( very soon ! )
First time when I came here, it was not pre plannned and I didn't know about this place. When we reached near here, my friend was craving for their honey chilli potato telling theirs was the best, and so we had it. It was really good.
Then after 2 years recently I came here twice and also ordered once. We had BBQ smoked chicken wings, chicken thukpa, honey chilli potato and also chilli garlic noodles. All were really delicious and the thukpa quantity is really good. I love their food a lot.
I ordered their BBQ smoked chicken wings online because of how much we loved it and also their honey chilli potato. This time I didn't like both much. Though it took time for the food to reach here, it was still hot but the taste was not the same. It was okay, but I've had better when I actually went there and had them before. Maybe it's because online delivery is not the best here compared to going there and having right after preparing.
Pros:
1. The cost is reasonable(esp for students staying in hostels or pg).
2. Quantity is also really good.
3. Staffs are friendly.
4. The service is also fast most of the times.
5. The food is also really good.
All the dishes I've had here are good and so I can't recommend just one item.
I'll definitely try their other items also soon.
The food tastes amazing and the prices are pocket friendly. The ambience is simple. The waiters are friendly and brisk.
Their honey chilly potato and the pork dishes are a must try!
Authentic taste with an average ambience. Staff is really polite and helpful. If you a big fan of Tibetan and Chinese food this place is a must visit.
I especially loved the chicken manchurian and the pork chilli.
I had an amazing dining experience at the Tibetan Mother's Kitchen ! The food was flavorful and authentic, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The momo dumplings were a highlight - they were deliciously steamed and filled with savory goodness. Specially mention to manager..RAVI MONGER. and RAHUL NATH they were was friendly and attentive, making sure we had a great meal. I'll definitely be returning for more Tibetan cuisine 😋
The atmosphere is nice and cosy, menu is budget friendly. The food fully satisfied me. I am from northeast east and I can confirm this is exactly these dishes should taste like. Reminds me of home❣️
I order chicken TMK thukpa which was like 10/10 totally AMAZING if you are visiting dont miss TMK thukpa🤩🤩🤩🤤... And i also ordered chicken stir fry thenthuk which was very new to me but delicious.... 🤤 plus the rates for the dishes are under 200Rs
The place is very underrated... I would definitely be going again to try new dishes but will always prefer chicken thukpa... 🤭🤭🤭🤭
My second: visit i tried tingmo which cant be eaten as it is you need some gravy or soupy dish i would rate that 1/5 🙃 and again i had TMK Thukpa 🤩🤩🤩 and also lemon coriander soup was 3/5
Quite small but cozy place. Expect warm and soulful food. Price very reasonable. Try lamping dry , steam chicken momo and pork BBQ. Staff members are very polite and helpful.
The food tasted nice but was a bit spicy.
Apart from that place was so cosy, it was like some hill area type restaurant in Bangalore.
Food - very tasty, they will make as per our spice level
Service - very good
Ambience - a small and simple setup. Should climb a narrow stairs to reach.
Accessibility - prime location
Rate - economic
This is one of the Authentic places that sells good Tibetan Food. The Food has a lot of flavor to it.
Simple place opposite Forum Mall Koramangala, the entry is through the steep ladder. Basic decor, humble hospitality but when the food arrives you gets impressed. The momos were delicious, dry laphing was spicy but yummy. Easy on the pockets, the dishes were very nicely priced.
Will surely recommend if you are not looking for posh and fancy restaurant.
Every time on the menu is delicious. Service is fast. Do try La Ping.
Tibetan Mother's Kitchen is a proper alternative to Tenzin Kitchen, our opinion is that the latter is better although TMK is a tad bit cheaper while also being almost as good.
The thukpa is definitely a must-try as it even had some momos in it 😋.
You get good quantity and quality food served piping hot. The menu is vast and lots of items are there to try out. Beef options are not available unlike Tenzin.
Seating space is low here as well.
I tried Tibetan food for very first time. Food was so delicious. I would again go for sure.
Ambience wise its compact and ideal for small group.
We tried laphang, momos and noodles.
Momos meat was so good and the chutney had authentic falvours.Soup was so good
Food is great at a very cost effective price. The sitting area is a bit crunched. The service is pretty fast. But if you are going on a Saturday or Sunday it might be difficult for you to get a seat. Must try items : Thanthuk, Kothey, TingMo, Laphing.
At just walking distance from forum mall, it is a must visit if you are in the area. We went there to have a quick bite before our movie, and ended up living this place. The seats outside provides a great view of the street.
Must try their sha fa le...
The service is good and the atmosphere is warm and friendly.
The authenticity starts with the stairs only. Once you climb them, you reach a quaint and modest place. Both the food and the people - good and homely. The price is very reasonable for the quality and quantity. The taste is soo good, yumm and you get a homely feel. Tried the stir fried thenthuk and Laphing, both delicious. My new favorite place!
Bang for the buck. Good ambience, helpful staff, tasty food and worth the price.
Thenthuk and thukpa are great.
Momos are great too.
I also liked the Lemon pork but the Laphing( yellow roll-like thing in the pictures) didn't suit my taste since it is a traditional cold dish. But everything else, 10/10 will recommend.
For vegetarians: The Mix Veg Thukpa( not the Veg Thukpa) is great, even better than the pork one. Do try it.
Bonus: No beef dishes unlike some other Tibetan restaurants which is good and makes me carefree about the food I am eating.
