If you are malleshwaram , dont forget to try this place out. One of the best with the best food around. Their milk cake and naati koli curry is the best and has been the best for years now. I have known people who come here from all parts of bangalore to try out these two. And not to forget the have very good cocktails aswell
The place was really nice. However the food want that great. Had ordered mangolrean chicken curry and neer dosa, curry was tasty but the chicken pieces had their skin on and we're very small pieces with hardly any flesh on them, if skin is some traditional thing, waiters should inform , since it's not regular , and sometimes customer would not like this touch. The chocolate mocktail ordered too was not good, it tasted like small sugar syrup. If the food could have been the good, the place with its ambience, music, games, crowd is very lovely.

We've been regulars to this place for a while and absolutely love the ambiance. Roof top seating is perhaps the best, cozy and warm . Food is amazing especially achari murg Tikka and add to it a match on the big screen, perfect weekend for a cricket fan like me
What a lovely place this is. It's small, beautifully lit open space. The food is great. Especially the mozzarella break sticks and sabudana vada.
Our staff for the day was Alok and he was a amazing. He helped us pick the food and served us with a smile.

A good old place in malleshwaram which was introduced to me by my friends. It's located just 500mts from mantri mall malleshwaram.
Ambience is welcoming and a perfect place for people who love alcohol. It's the most inexpensive place I've ever been till date. Service is prompt. It was empty when we went there but I think it's one of the underestimated place in malleshwaram.
Tried the following items:
*Tandoori chicken: perfectly cooked chicken with good flavours.
*egg chilly: crunchy on the outside and soft inside. Best dish for alcohol.
*Paneer chilly: very much similar to the egg chilly. Flavours are same and it's a recommended dish.
*fries: this can never go wrong in any place. It was good.
*Mangalore style chicken starter: it was similar to ghee roast chicken but it was sweet and creamy with lots of fried cashews. 5/5 for this dish.
I think it's one of the best places to hangout in malleshwaram for drinks and food for very reasonable price.

Hatch is a multi-level bar and dining place in a quiet corner of Malleswaram. Went in here for a weekend dinner and the place had hardly a few seats full. Different dining styles at different levels keeps the options open. Good cocktails on offer. Kadale Bele Vade is how we started off on the appetizers, well done and tasty. On the mains, Kadai Paneer and Veg chettinadu with some breads and appam was as good as it gets. Good flavour on the paneer gravy and they do justice to the chettinadu style cooking as well. Washed it all down with Tres Leches ! Happy with the experience here. They do have valet parking - one less thing to worry about. Service is quick and they did give some good suggestions on what to eat !

Amidst the busily hustling crowded streets of Malleshwaram, nestled in a small corner is this rooftop restaurant, which is in stark contrast to the ‘old town’ looks of the surroundings.
Everything till you enter the restaurant feels shady, the street, entrance to the building and even the wobbly lift, yet the restaurant is a cozy rooftop-garden arrangement which doesn’t disappoint. It’s simple and a humble place, good serving team, and food wasn’t bad either. If you’re expecting a great ambience, and lush seating like the uptown restaurants, may be for a date night, you’d be disappointed, but it’s just a meek place for a good evening/ weekday spend. I would really appreciate if the restaurant could improve on quantity (like I counted the paneer blocks in an appetiser, and found just 7 regular sized ones 🙄). Couldn’t get a pic, would try if I visit again.

Hatch/Rasa is one of very few resto bars in Malleshwaram with decent foodie reviews. The beautiful roof top ambiance pics and ragi balls on menu led us here for weekend dinner.
Ambiance:
-Valet service available
-There are three floors.
--Third floor/roof top: Beautiful view but smoking area. Bad remixed songs led us to second floor.
--Second floor: The rock band posters outside the restaurant pulled us in thinking/fooling they play good music. This was a dim lit ambiance with bar on one corner. They too played bad remixed songs even louder than the top floor which left us annoyed leading us to first floor :D
--First floor: This one was a huge relief as it had live music(recorded music with singers singing melodious kannada songs). Other highlights: Wooden seating, beautiful wall stickers..etc

-Courteous service. Got what we ordered in

-Sabbakki vade: 5 pieces of crispy vade made of Saabudaan served with chutney.
-Ragi mudde/ragi balls with masappu: I haven't had mudde this soft till date and went well with tasty masappu, which was made spicy as per our liking.
-Tres Leche: Delicious milk cake served on a big plate in center surrounded by milk with dry fruit flavours, saffron..etc
Must try: Mudde and Tres Leche

-A bit expensive but worth a try.
-They will have to reduce the volume a little to make sure they don't drive away the foodies.

Had been there last night to celebrate my inlaws Anniversary. Chose this place for the manglorean dishes. We ordered punarpuli juice, mixed bean Usuli, paneer ghee roast, sabudana vadaas starters. We loved them all. Next came repeated plates of neer dosa and shavige mangalore coconut and veggies curry and Malia palak. It was amazing took me back a few years dining in Mangalore. We finished off our dinner with gasgase paysa and carrot Halva, which were perfect.
We had a great time. We were seated at the first floor- family section. I would love to come back and explore the two upper floors as well.
And not to forget, the service was prompt and quick, kudos to that.

It's in a cross road on Sampige road(very close to Al-Bek). A pretty huge place,spread over three floors with a lovely ambience in each floor.
Coming to the food & drinks,they are reasonably priced & are served in good portions too :)
I personally love most of their cocktails,my fav being love potion.
They have a huge variety of veg starters(the best part!!) Their french fries are one the best you'll have! A few of their other starters you should definitely try are paneer chilli,chilli cheese toast,bharwan kumbh(stuffed mushroom),sabbakki vade.
Coming to the main course,you must try their veg burger(the best I've had!),neer dosas,mac & cheese,malnad pulav,veg biryani. The raita they serve with these rice items are simple bae! :D & finally,their curd rice is something to die for ;)
Please don't even think of trying their pizzas-not good AT ALL!
Their tres leche ( milk cake) dessert is the best of all desserts I've had till now :)

Hatch is a beautifully designed and well thought through restaurant offering a perfect mix of tradition and contemporary style in both its ambience and food. Feels really good during evenings with a good breeze going around.. Spacious and never had an issue of waiting.. Drinks are good, food is nice, good ambience and music.. What else can you ask for.. And ya they also screen live sports games.. Highly recommend..

Raasa renamed to 'HATCH' in Malleshwaram is a perfect place to chill on the weekend in Bangalore:) It's in the lane opposite Al-Bek and it has three different floors with the roof top being very pleasant and cool. Lots of dishes to choose from but it had to start with the amazing Peanut Masala and a chilled Beer followed by the delicious Devilled Eggs and Paneer Schzewan :)

Customer Support : Excellent!! Booked table for two through zomato itself and got call for confirmation within a minute. And also conveyed us promptly about early closure due to next day Vote Count.
Ambience: It's Roof Top, so you could easily feel cool breeze plying and could experience Bangalore's unpredictable yet delight weather. The theme is simple yet cheerful.
Service: The Restaurant Crew was well mannered. Especially the one serving us was a gentleman, understanding us not being native so suggested a range of food to try out.
Food : The weather itself was demanding for chilled beers to go hand and hand with some Garlic Pepper Chicken and Spicy Corns. For main course we had Biryani.
Garlic Pepper Chicken : Well furnished, uniformly cooked. The chicken was fresh and succulent and it's tender juiciness was adoring.
Biryani : It was well cooked. The spices were pretty well blended. Rice was well flavoured and had rich aroma. The chicken too was well cooked and perfectly blended with biryani.
Overall, If visiting Bangalore and need to get relaxed with soothing view of night and cool breeze plying around you with couple of drinks and some good food, do visit it.

I will highly recommend Hatch restaurant (formerly Rasa) to anybody who plans to host a great party. We were a team of 45 people and the gala time we had at this place was simply awesome. The service of the entire staff was outstanding. Their manager Majunath is a phenomenal host who helped in detailed planning to keep it surprise, opened the entire venue entirely to us, arranged 2 awesome singers who were so melodious and entertained us all evening. The food we ordered was from the menu but the speed with food came out amazed us. Food tasted great with the varieties we tested them with pasta, nati kodi, north Indian everything was just great. The chef came to meet us and assured us his food will be great and so it was. I recommend this place highly. Manjunath you deserve a big Thank You
I visited this resto during weekdays in the noon. The ambience did have a neutral vibe, and was hygiene. The food was great here but I personally did not like the chocolate shake, it was different from the usual resto style. I loved the pasta here!

Drink is good. But chose your food carefully. We ordered French fries, omlette which tasted great but chicken lollipop and egg ghee roast wasn't as expected.

One of the best feeling in IPL season is having Drinks and watching ipl in Big screen so they provide big screen streaming... Food was good enough in both quality and quantity.. Taste is also very nice, especially egg items. The Devilled egg is my favourite... The Hotel has roof top so that you can enjoy your drinks and food in open air.... 👍

Tried out their Chicken Uruval (boneless), kadi patta Chicken (boneless), and chicken ghee roast for starters...
For main course do try out their Mangalore style Chicken masala accompanied with Akki roti or Neer Dosa... Finally on the rice tried their Chicken Garlic fried rice...
The staff are very polite and provide quick service to cater your needs...

I’ve been going to this restaurant for the past ten years. There has been a management change, the menu remains unchanged though. Starters are good, beer on tap is also good and they have some good options for beer on tap.
Must visit if you’re in Malleswaram, with friends. The terrace area is good during evenings and DJ during weekends.
Watching sports on projector screen with friends and a pitcher of beer, fun times!

Hatch is a multi-level bar and dining place in a quiet corner of Malleswaram. Went in here for a weekend dinner and the place had hardly a few seats full. Different dining styles at different levels keeps the options open. Good cocktails on offer. Kadale Bele Vade is how we started off on the appetizers, well done and tasty. On the mains, Kadai Paneer and Veg chettinadu with some breads and appam was as good as it gets. Good flavour on the paneer gravy and they do justice to the chettinadu style cooking as well. Washed it all down with Tres Leches ! Happy with the experience here. They do have valet parking - one less thing to worry about. Service is quick and they did give some good suggestions on what to eat !
Food was delicious and the hospitality is good, i would suggest to make some improvements to the ambience and seating arrangements
