It was a feast and that is probably how I would sum it up. A Rajasthani Thali that is sure to fulfill your meal needs for the entire day cos its that filling. Here for Sunday lunch, had reserved a table and reached on time and so we were seated immediately, the crowd slowly filling in the rest of the tables. The service is good and the staff make sure they explain what they are serving. Plate is as big as it should be served and small bowls that are perfect portions to taste everything. My picks from the Thali - Dal Bhati Churma, Masala Chaas, Panchkutta, Rabdi and Matar Paneer. There are a lot of sweet dishes in the meal that is the only drawback i feel which leaves one feeling overstuffed, limit the sweet dishes to enjoy the rest of the meal because there is lots to try. They have valet parking as well which is much needed in the area. Overall its a place that you need an appetite for and will leave you full for the entire day. Go for it.
Visited this place today for lunch. Happened to be my second visit :) So,it's needless for me to say that I was already quite impressed with this place right in the first visit.
Lovely, soothing, welcoming ambience;neatly arranged furniture;huge silver plates and bowls-sets the mood right for a perfect dining experience!
If there was something beyond a 5/5 for food,I'd give this place that ❤
Served in satisfying portions, the waiters are even kind enough to ask you a second helping. From the starters to the main course to the desserts,I cannot think of one single dish that disappointed me! You'll never regret having eaten so much 😛
Mr. Gangaram was in charge of our table, very kind and courteous man. Not just him,the entire staff are well aware of all the dishes being served, try explaining them to you as you're being served.
Overall, the team sees to it that you have a memorable dining experience at their restaurant 🙂
I don't know who that person was, might have been the manager(the one with yellow and white kurta pyjama today) had a really irritating and grumpy face😅 Sir,you could smile a bit for your staff and customers, try being atleast half as courteous as your staff is!
So, I'd give :
A 5/5 for all the four-ambience,service,food,value for money.
I'd definitely want to go back to this place soon!🙂
the food served on the silver plates add to the beauty of the restaurant.
the sweets are delicious and the kulfi is refreshing .
nice place for a family outing :)
Have visited the place for the second time.
The ambience of the place is Beautiful.
They serve the entire meal on a silver platter, the entire spread is delicious.
A peaceful place for a gd meal.
Delicious traditional rajasthani cuisine.Ambience is beautiful with good folk music. People serving are very humble and polite . Worth the price if you have a big appetite.
Pretty decent place to try some rajasthini cuisine. The best part is the courteous staff taking time to talk about the dishes. The food was good. Didn't like the desserts that much.
Great ambience and food is served in silverware. Food was bit spicy, but good overall. There's a live counter for chats and service is very good.
Ambience is great, food is good. Cost is a bit on the high end and could have been couple of 100s less wrt to food. Staff is attentive and friendly. The food was served beautifully.

The food was extremely authentic and tasty. Not to mention, kind of healthy too.
And a nice deviation from the kind of food that I've been eating lately 😉
That being said, it's a very family friendly place. Somewhere you can bring your entire khandaan without having to think twice.
The staff was very friendly too. They made sure to tell us exactly what was being served and other fun facts about the food. They also insisted that we try everything on the plate, which was frankly quite nice (the way your maternal aunt or grandmother might force you to eat something you don't want to, but you end up eating it and actually liking it!!)
The ambience was spectacular, no doubt.
The only drawbacks when it came to food was that the starters were quite oily, which is an instant put-off. Also the desserts were pretty hard.
I would request the management to please look into that!
Overall a very good place, though! Definitely will visit again!
Unmissable!
The spread is amazing. Don't miss the Govind Gatta subzi (Gatta Subzi is my favourite vegetarian dish, and this is the best I've had), the Bajra Raabri, and the Ghevar Malai Rabdi. Worth every single rupee you spend here, which isn't much (it's only 650 per head)
I used to travel to JP Nagar (their original restaurant) and am glad there is a branch at Sadashivnagar closer to home.
I had visited Kesariya's outlet in JP Nagar last year. Hearing that they have opened their new outlet in Sadashiv Nagar, we visited it today. It is an awesome place with a great ambiance.
The service is great and the food is simply finger licking good

The staff were extremely courteous. The spread was really good. The food was mildly spiced and tasty. The variety of sweets was good too.. we enjoyed our dining experience. Altogether would recommend this place
Wonderful place with traditional interiors. Excellent service by the polite and helpful staff. Very tasty and stomach filling food. Definitely a place to visit with family for a nice vegetarian meal.
A perfect essence of loosen environment of Rajasthan in the city buzz of Bangalore.....you will definitely feel the glimpse of Rajasthan here # khamaghani
Dined here for lunch today. The food was amazing as always. The staff are very courteous and polite. They take the time to explain every item and serve at your own pace unlike most other such thali restaurants. It’s definitely a must visit. Would recommend it to everyone.

The Restaurant Caters authentic Rajasthani Food with Lovely Flavours .
The Sweets especially the Malai Ghewar ,Gulab Jamoon are Delicious.
The service is friendly and Warm.
Very nice place..... great food.....staff are very friendly and the best ambiance ever!!
Go with an empty stomach to get satisfied. A must visit for vegetarians.
Beautiful Ambience ! Great Service !
we were at lunch on Sunday afternoon ,the place was full ,
the spread was lavish from the starters to the sweets to the maincourse and it was delicious !
A new Place in this Area But Definately Worth the visit !!
The ambience was lovely....the staff very courteous and helpful...food was authentic Rajasthani with spicy starters , chats, soothing khichdi and amazing desserts. Overall had a great experience. A must try place for folks yearning for good Rajasthani food.
Great food across starters, main course and even desserts with dal bati and papad sabzi + Bajra roti being the winners. Ambience is nice, staff is well behaved and courteous. A good authentic rajasthani dining experience.
great place for rajasthani food lovers. most of the dishes were great but the main dal bhati was bad the day i went. dessert was really good the sweets n the rrally malaidar kulfi. ambiance is good. service is good food quality is great.
Such a pleasent experience. Authentic Rajasthani Food ... And you feel like King too. Very cordial and loving staff and taste is mind blowing. It's really a great good quantity of food ..m so go hungry.
Must visit and this is vegetarians delight. Just go and experience. Must visit with family.
Kesariya serves excellent Rajasthani food. Liked each and every item in the thali system. But you need a good appetite to finish all of it. The ambience is beautiful. I particularly liked their utensils - silverish in look.
However, I think the price is slightly high. It would be a best deal if some 100-150 rupees is reduced.
But you should give it a try !
All Rajasthani fanfare set in an ambience that is bound to delight you. If it's your first time, there's a lot to learn and taste. The staff are equally warm and eager to help you if you want to understand a bit deeper into each of the food being served. Bajre ki khichdi, Imlana, Panchkutta are definitely something you do not get to taste at most other places.
Portions are generous and unlimited, as is the love with which they are served. For a person with a regular appetite, it's bound to fill-up by the time you've tasted each item just once. Plates, spoons and all other cutlery is silver.
Call it an experience and it's unlikely that you'll be disappointed.
The staff is amazingly courteous and helpful. They actually explain what they are serving and how it is to be eaten. The food is simply tasty. However there is just too much variety and u just need to be very very hungry with a really solid appetite to do justice. The ambience is pretty good. They have fancy and dramatic interiors which adds a nice feel to the place.
I am definitely goin there again!
Probably the best Rajasthani food I've ever had in Bengaluru , the place is located in a prime location , has good ambiance and the food tastes great !!
Great food and great service. Gangaram and his crew made us feel at home and one of the best customer experiences I have had. Highly recommended for a hearty meal.
Outstanding thali, lovingly prepared. Traditional Rajasthani fare but balanced, colourful & presented beautifully. Service friendly & hospitable. Good ambience, although approach to restaurant could be better.
One of the best Rajasthani style restaurants in Bangalore!
The taste is so amazing that it keeps you mesmerized. The availability of a variety of dishes makes the Rajasthani thali a very special one. Each dish in the thali is tasty, and one must make sure that each one of the dish is tasted.
The staff is also kind and friendly. They take care to explain to you about each dish being served.
A really good place to visit 🙂
Great Rajasthani Food with Awesome Service .They Serve unlimited Thaali with so many varieties .A must visit for all food and thaali lovers. The Welcome Drinks and Maincourse was also very tasty.

It gives you a feel of Rajasthan with royalty.
Had a wonderful and a Royal experience at Kesariya .The staff is polite and friendly .
They serve authentic Rajasthani food with royalty .
It’s a great place for family and friends!
This was our first visit here and we were very happy with the service and courtesy of the staff. The food was also quite authentic, Rajasthani thali. The portion of serving was very satisfying. Overall a good experience.
Visited this place for dinner and it was awesome. This was my first time experiencing Rajasthani food and it was totally worth it. The decor and ambiance are eye catching. Everything is served in silver cutlery. The staff are polite and courteous. They firstly tell you the dish being served to you and this is an added advantage as not everyone would know what they were served. Food is good and the royal treatment makes you feel good too. The prices are reasonable for 30 odd dishes. A try is definitely recommended.
Kesariya is restaurant which serves pure Rajasthani thali which literally makes you feel that your in Rajasthan having all the famous Rajputhi sorta dishes .
It’s located in Sadashivnagar opposite to palace grounds which is in the same building of NEXA showroom and it can be easily located they have this quick valet service so there’s no issue for parking at all !
Here you get food served in silver plates and all the utensils they use to serve is silver glasses and spoons and etc ! It’s a pure vegetarian restaurant which offers buffet sort meal where all the dishes are served in silver thali ! Moreover it serves pure JAIN FRIENDLY food !
The interiors and decors are superbly done and the flooring is a eye catcher and it’s definitely a restaurant you must try and the staff is very courteous and polite !
Overall Ratings !

Wonderful and delicious food. Visited on a weekend and the food was an absolute delight. Liked the starters, main course and dessert, specially the Jalebi Rasmalai sandwich. Would love to visit again with family for a special occasion.
Actual Rating: 4.7
I’ve visited this place 4 times, the ambience is regal!
Its hard to finish everything so ul basically end up “tasting “ everything- go to this place when u are really really hungry!
The food will melt your heart!
Everything was amazing
I visited the restaurant during the chat festival-dec 2018
They had 4 varieties of Rajasthani chats that are hard to find else where in Bengaluru
The best part is that they use premium ingredients and hence the wonderful taste!
My only suggestion to the management is to introduce a la carte too because we sometimes have cravings for a particular dish and we don’t necessarily have a big appetite along with that
I will definitely visit this place again! Hope they keep up the standards
Loved the hospitality and the quality of food! This is probably the best place in the vicinity for authentic Rajasthani food. Had a great time!
Lottttsss served on your plate :) I suggest you skip bfast if you are headed there for lunch . Tasty spread . Especially loved the bajra kichdi , ghewar n srikhand .
The first impression when I entered the Dining Hall was the excellent layout of silver utensils, plates, glasses, bowls, spoons, etc. The wood-work is traditional. The attire of the staff is unfortunately not Rajasthani - that would have helped create the ambience.
The Staff, including the Manager Girish received us very courteously. Soon, we were comfortable and wanted to go to the wash-room to wash our hands, when the wash-room came to us. A big bowl and warm water in a jug helped us wash our hands where we were seated.
The Rajasthani food began flowing, in what seemed like an endless stream. Chutneys, samosa, gulab sharbat |(rose juice), buttermilk, katori chaat, chilly achaar, cabbage salad, etc. got us started. Enquiries if we wanted more followed. Good we refused - so as to try everything. Then came the choorma (sweet roasted wheat powder), baati (cooked wheat balls) and ghee. Paneer, Mixed Veg with Phulkas, Pooris and Bajri (pearl millet) roti (a trifle extra crisp, I thought), Kadhi (made of curds), Raabdi (this can put you to sleep, if over-indulged), Tamarind juice. The sweet beetroot halwa was too good - the only item I asked for more. A healthy vegetable khichdi, vegetable pulao, white rice and daal with papad completed the menu - I thought. There was more ! Kulfi - yes, Kesariya Kulfi as a dessert.
The Staff kept guiding us on and off about the fare - how and when to eat what, etc. in case we needed the guidance. They kept asking us and even urging us - manvaar - to have some more of everything.
I suggested to the Manager to have at least one limited meal and lower-priced option for more people to come and enjoy the Rajasthani fare. I hope the owners work on this.
Definitely worth a try :)
Very good food and the service was also very satisfying. Worth the money and time. The staff is very good and quite polite
Planning to visit again
If place, ambience n food, all 3 r gud den wat else u need more in a restaurant😊 I had been der yesterday to celebrate my birthday n friendship day vit my lifetime friends😊
Polite and friendly staff, tasty food, good ambiance, peaceful environment.
👌👍. Authentic food 🍲 with great comfort and quality. 👌👌👌👍👍

Kesariya is a must-try high end Rajasthani Shekhawati restaurant that serves pure vegetarian and unlimited thalis. This is not all they have food festivals and events happening regularly where they have cultural and musical performances. I had been to their JP nagar branch during the Ghoomar festival and recently, I visited their Sadashiv Nagar branch during the chaat festival. Everytime, it was an awesome experience when it comes to food, taste, and quality.
I tried their variety of chaats, including some of my favourites. I had lived in Rajasthan for four years and so, I have some regional favourites. All their chaats were excellent in taste.
Their thali was wholesome and delicious with lots of items in it. I loved it and would definitely recommend it. It's a must-try restaurant for vegetarians.
Such a nice family restaurant to go to. The ambience has a Rajasthani royal touch to it with woodwork, carved pillars, traditional paintings etc. One of the best restaurants in terms of service. Very humble and pleasant staff. Now, many of you might be wondering HOW IS IT DIFFERENT THAN RAJDHANI? The fundamentals are honestly the same! But Kesariya has slightly different variety when it comes to sweets. Also, they serve course by course and wait for you to finish before serving another course, unlike Rajdhani where you keep getting everything all at once. But Rajdhani's main course is slightly better than thiers because of the constant changes and seasonal dishes.
Great location, great ambience and decor, well lit , lively chatter of happy lunchers, great service , very well thought menu and items .The bajra khichadi, bajra kadhi, missi roti, fruit cream took us back to Rajasthan .
The shining tableware, luxurious hand wash, great service was unmistakably good.
We did have an issue with the chutneys (green and red).
Overall a very good experience and will be back for more.
Beautiful ambience, efficient staff and extraordinary food !
Visited on Monday for lunch, place was mostly available ,food is worth trying if you like Rajasthani cuisine to the core.
In bangalore it’s difficult to find authentic Rajasthani food but this place is beat of all .
New in this area so will take time to known but as I have visited another location also so they are pretty good .
Veg Thali concept restaurant ....with some famous Rajasthani dishs......want to recommend ...for each & everyone... chat festival is going on...we really enjoyed...thank u
My love for Rajasthani food never dies. And the only name that pops iny head when I think of the Rajasthani cuisine is "Kesariya". Kesariya never let's me down. And this time they have opened their new branch in Sadashiv Nagar.
Kesariya has a royal touch of Rajasthani architecture and paintings.
They serve the Shekhawati meal whichs caters around 25 various dishes which totally does justice to the Rajasthani cuisine.
To add to their royalness, the food is served in silverware.
Not just that, their cooking team also is from Rajasthan which keeps the authenticity alive.
They had "Chaat Festival" going on. Which was authentic Rajasthani Chaats.
Following were the chaats delicacies.
Pani Patasha ,Dahi Patasha papdi Chaat, Raj Kachori,Katori Chaat, Aloo Tikki chaat ,kachori Kadhi chaat ,Samosa Chole Chaat.
Some of the traditional Rajasthani Chaats were
Urad Dal Pakodi chaat, Moong Dal Ka Dahi Vada, Palak papdi chaat, Kachori kadhi chaat, Dahi gunjiya.
Then comes the thali!
The two drinks served are masala chaas and pudina nimbu paani. Just the perfect drink to warm up the appetite.
Rajasthani cuisine always starts with the sweet. We were served jelebi n rasmalai sandwich. Which was a delicacy.
We were then served with the starters:
Bhute ki pakode was really yummy.
The most famous dal bhati is very authentic.
The other dishes included
Dal Panchmel
Palak Baati
Dum Ka Paneer
Mawa Kaju matar
Sangar Ki Sabzi
Bhindi Masala
Kanji Ka Pakoda
Masoor ki Dal
Khatti Meethi Kadhi
Fulka
Bikaneri Dal Parantha
Bajra Methi ki Puri
Ram Kheechdi
Lauki Dum Biryani
Steamed Rice
And to end the yummilicious thali with fruit cream, which is my favourite. This dish will keep you wanting for more. And then the moong dal halwa and Kesariya Kulfi.
Very warm and friendly staff who are best at what they do and they also explain each dish.
This is a must visit place. It ll not disappoint you.
Ambiance: 4.5/5
Food: 4.5/5
Service: 4.5/5
Price: 4.5/5
We have heard a lot about this place with regard to its authenticity of its Rajasthani food and the royal treatment you receive when you’re at this place hence we were looking forward to try this place out. As you walk in, you see the elaborate décor which clearly makes you expect the royal treatment.
Beverages
To start our grand meal, we were given the Masala Chaas and Pudina Neembu Pani. Both of these were just as you would expect it to be and we certonly were not disappointed by the quality of these.
Chaats
In the Chaat section we were given Pani Patasha, Dahi Patasha, Papdi Chaat, Palak Papdi Chaat, Raj Kachori, Katori Chaat, Aloo Tikki Chaat, Kachori Kadhi chaat, Samosa Chole Chaat, Urad Dal Pakodi Chaat, Moong Dal Ka Dahi Vada and the Dahi Gunjiya.
The only negatives we would say would be the Raj Kachori which had too much filling and didn’t really let us taste much and the Urad Dal Pakodi Chaat which was a little dry for us. The highlights were certainly the Dahi Gunjiya and the Kachori Kadhi Chaat which were phenomenal.
Main Course
The main Thali consisted of Kachumbar, Green Chutney, Garlic Chutney, Achaar, Papad, Dal Panchmel, Palak Baati, Kesariya Choorma with Ghee, Dum Ka Paneer, Mawa Kaju Matar, Sangar Ki Sabzi, Bhindi Masala, Raabdi, Kanji Ka Pakoda, Masoor ki Dal, Khatti Meethi Kadhi, Fulka, Bikaneri Dal Parantha, Bajra Methi ki Puri/Ghee/Gud, Ram Khichdi, Lauki Dum Biryani and Steamed Rice with Ghee.
The Dum Ka Paneer had large soft pieces of Paneer which were cooked very well but unfortunately there was very little gravy which didn’t really allow us to enjoy the flavours of the dish. The Bikaneri Dal Parantha was also rather dry and didn’t really go down too easily for us. The Ram Khichdi was rather bland and too watered down hence it was a bit of a let-down considering there is generally a good mix of spices in a well made Khichdi.
The highlight was easily the Mawa Kaju Mattar which had a very rich gravy with a lot of flavours and spices. The Sangar Ki Sabzi was unlike anything we have had before and was rather interesting for our palates.
Dessert
To end our meal we were given the Kesariya Kulfi, Moong Dal Halwa and Fruit Cream. The Kesariya Kulfi and the Fruit Cream were well made and we really liked it however, the actual highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the Moong Dal Halwa which was the best we have had anywhere in the city.
Overall Verdict
This entire meal was a very well curated experience from the moment you enter up to the time you leave. We were very well taken care off and the whole experience was something we certainly will remember. The pricing was a little high for us but considering the service and ambience of the place and looking at the gigantic spread, we felt it was most certainly worth the price. This place would certainly be perfect for a family night out when you’re looking for a large gathering or meeting place with relatives.

Kesariya is located in Sadashivanagar, on the same road where the NEXA showroom is.
As the name suggests its an authentic Rajasthani Cuisine restaurant. To be more specific they serve authentic Shekhawati Thali's.
I went here with a couple of people to attend their Chaat festival.
Ambience:
This place is meant to look grand. Has the vibes and feel of a palace. The interiors are done pretty well. They serve food in big plates with katori's that all look and give off the feel of a grand dining experience. Somehow still felt they could have done better with respect to the interiors.
Food:
The Chaat festival happened for about 10 days. They had a HUGE variety of chaats. I personally loved the Palak chaat. The crisp from that fried palak with the sweet, and spice went perfectly with the weather Bangalore currently has. I also enjoyed the Kachori Kadhi Chaat. The Kadhi was the perfect blend of flavours.
For maincourse there was a huge spread. They served Pyaz ki Kachori, Bhutte ka Vada and Mirchi Vada. The bhutte ka vada was a complete balance of flavours. Then came in dishes one by one. Their Phulkas are super light and the Bhindi Masala is definitely worth the mention. They serve a Raabdi here which i learnt is not the sweet kind. This is what we call Ganji in Karnataka. Actually tasted pretty good. Definitely did not expect Ganji to taste good. The Dal Baati Choorma was also pretty tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed the Fruit Cream. Fresh fruits in cream is the best end to the meal.
They also served us Jalebi Rasmalai Sandwich. The Jalebi's here are honestly one of the best i have ever come across. Super crispy, perfect amount of sweet. In addition the rasmalai in between makes it irresistible
Royal Rajasthani Hospitality!
Had a bad Malai Ghevar craving and my vegetarian friends recommended Kesariya. Just call beforehand to check if it is available because they change the menu everyday! Located in Sadashiv nagar, this restaurant is relatively new. The huge vegetarian base here has given the thumps up for Kesariya. And boy was the #MalaiGhevar delicious! Probably the best I have had ever.
Whats more, they are having the Chaat Festival #chaatfestival. So savoured some fresh chats in their live chaat counter. Loved their Dahi Chaat. Tried the Moong dal Chilla Chaat for the first time. My favorite picks were the Moong dal Dahi Vada and the Dahi Gunjiya. There were the Pani Puri, Dahi Puri, Kachori chaat, Samosa chole chaat, Raj Kachori. This was amazing having unlimited chaats freshly made in front of you.
We sat down now for the Rajasthani Thali. I must say the decor us beautiful. A whole lot of traditional woodwork. The furniture is designed along the same lines. The service is very cordial. Very attentive and professional. We started with the masala chaas and aam panna. We were served Khasta Kachori, Bajre ki tikki and Babycorn pakoda to be had with Green chutney and Red onion chutney. They gave us the Malai Ghevar which was amazing. The traditional Chilli achar was also served.
We then had the Dal batti with Churma, which was a blend of flavours creating a wonderful taste.
In the main course, they served the urad roti, Missi roti and fulka with ghee. The sides were Special Paneer, Panchemela saag, Sarsoan wali gutta, Aloo pyaz subzi, Do chonk dal and Mangodi kadi. Each of curries had a distinct flavour and it was a great choice of menu to fulfill different tones. There was the Moong dal halwa, Kesariya Shrikand ( another star dish - must try )as desserts. The rices were Bajra Khichdi, Naharani pulao and steamed rice.
A good gulp of Imliya to digest all the rich Rajasthani food. A Kesariya Kulfi to top it all off. The service throughout was warm and cordial. The best parts was that inspite of being full, the food didn't make one feel stuffed. Amazing dining experience!
If you love chaat as much as I do, this is the best time to visit Kesariya, they currently have a chaat festival on which is what drew us here, but the great food was an added surprise and pleasant plus.
As you walk in the places draws you in and makes you feel like royalty with the way the way you are welcomed and the intricate, rich architecture and followed by the truly rich and delicious food.
We first began with the chaat which was in a different section and served about 8 verities of chaat, I had to stop myself from over indulging as I knew a huge vegetarian thaali feast was to follow.
The chaat was delicious and it was far superior to the road side chaat wherein hygiene is always questionable.
The dahi Bhalla was my favourite.
We sat down bracing ourself to be stuffed with delicious food, but to our pleasant surprise though there was a good verity of food and we never felt heavy or that nagging stuffed over indulgent feeling after or even during.
The food was rich with generous amount of ghee, dry fruits and other ingredients used and the chef has brought out Rajasthani cuisine perfectly with it incredible play on marrying both sweet and savoury notes and combining them perfectly.
Though the dishes served is rotational I have to highlight some of my absolute favourites
.aam ka panaa (my favourite drink)
. Daal Bhatti churma (I’d go back just for this)
.shrikhand
. Malai ghevar (the best in the city and so authentically made)
.kesariya special paneer
.moong dal halwa
.kesariya kulfi
The food left me feeling extremely satisfied yet light, this is one thaali place that you can frequent often and not feel that guilty feeling of putting your body through a lot.
The staff are extremely courteous and highly efficient, and the pricing is very good considering the quality and quantity of food served. I can’t wait to go back again with my friends and family.
Having already taken the city by a storm with their outlet in JP Nagar, Kesariya is back again with a fresh outlet at Sadashiv Nagar. I distinctly remember to good time I had here. With rich interiors and silver plates & bowls, Kesariya made me feel almost like a Royal of Rajasthan. Being a thali serving place and pure vegetarian menu, they are surely to become popular amongst the locals.
I was amused to know that their cuisine is not plain right Rajasthani but has hints of Shekhawati. Don’t know what that is? Even I didn’t then. It’s a collective region from the state whose food heavily includes saffron, jiggery, ghee and bajra.
When I was here, they had their Chaat Festival going on which served a quintessential range of Indian street food ranging from Pani puri to Aloo Tikki to Dal Pakodi to Dahi Gujiya. All of their chaats were delicious. The standout was the Chenna Chilla.
We were then served with a tasty Masala Chaas and a sweet Pudina Lemon Paani. Tradionally, Shekhawati is famous for its spicier touch to food and we were served on the same lines here. The starters comprising of Onion Kachori, Mirchi Vada and Bhutte ka Pakoda had a good spicy and tantalizing taste. It’s sure to leave your taste buds looking for some sweet elixir.
Moving on to the main course! The things came to my plate one after the other. A serving of the traditional Daal Baati and Churma along with a spicy papad lifted the hunger. The sabziz included a paneer gravy, creamy green peas, Bhindi Masala and a Rajasthani special Ker Sangri. All these gravies tasted wonderful with their Dal Paratha.
At any restaurant which serves Thali, the sweets are the most awaiting meal course for me. The Jalebi Rasmalai Sandwich and Moong Dal Halwa were both exquisite. The Jalebi was mild sweet and the rasmalai perfectly complimented it. The Halwa was delectable; one of the finest I’ve ever had.
The small portion of food are quite sufficient for the belly. The rate are little high in comparison than their competitors but is surely worth a visit.
Cheers!

Kesariya, the very name instills a cultural and traditional vibe and no place better than Kesariya (Shekhawati thali restaurant ) can live upto the expectations. Kesariya takes its patrons on a royal trip full of rich lavish food and elegant traditional decor, doing complete justice to what it intends to deliver – the unique Culinary experience from the dessert land.
If your looking for a some royal Rajasthani food with some great decor, the one stop destination is kesariya. They provide the traditional shekhawati style cuisine.
This was my second visit to kesariya, the first time I had been was at their JP Nagar outlet during the goomar festival. This time to their new outlet at sadashivanagar for a lunch.
🌶️🥘🍛🍹🍆🍒🥥🍎🍅
🇦 Ambience of the restaurant is pretty royal, with magnificent interior works which are mainly wooden artworks. The seating arrangements, chairs, dinning tables are pretty good and give a royal feel. The lightings are also filled with monochromatic lights and lamps.
🇸Service at the restaurant is good. Although language becomes a problem if you don't know Hindi since I had a little tough time in communicating, but the crew are trained well in terms of knowledge regarding what they serve.
🇫🍽️ Since it was a chaat festival, I had an opportunity to feed on varieties of chaat.
🍴Pani patasha ➡️ Pani patasha was good, the best part of it is that you can load a lot of stuffs into the Puri be it sev, chutney, onions etc. Overall package they tasted good.
🍴Papdi chaat ➡️ I liked Papdi chat, they were prepared well and tasted good along with varieties of stuffs that were added to it.
🍴Katori chaat ➡️ Katori chaat was good, the masala was perfect.
🍴Raj kachari ➡️ It was another chaat which was prepared well, the stuffings were hot and fresh.
🥄 The main course thali had a lot of varieties of dishes put on one big plate. It was nicely filled with stuffs like kachumbar, green and garlic chutney, achaar and papad. Fulka, bikaneri Dal parantha and varies types of curries to accompany them along with the desserts.
🍴Dal panchmel ➡️ The Dal panchmel was amazing, the panchmel refers to the five different types of Dal that is been used to prepare this. This went well with the parantha and fulka.
🍴Kesariya choorma ➡️The kesariya choorma was their signature dish. It tasted above average.
🍴Dum ka paneer ➡️ I loved dum ka paneer curry it was thick, good quantity of paneer in the curry and tasted very good.
🍴Mawa kaju matar ➡️ The kaju matar curry again was very good. It was a little spicy eventhough they included kaju. It tasted good, the garam masala was perfectly mixed.
🍴Raabdi ➡️ It's a nice condensed sweet which tasted good and can be used as a catalyst to eat along with the kachodi.
🍴Masoor ki dal ➡️ Masoor ki dal went well along with the parantha. It was pretty spicy. The mixture of Dal and the spices went well.
🍴 Fruit cream ➡️ The fruit cream may be just another normal thing. But I always loved the fruit cream prepared at kesariya be at JP Nagar or sadashivanagar outlet. It consisted of various fruits mixed with a nice flavoured condensed cream.
🍴Lauki dum biryani ➡️ I wanted to taste the biryani since I always feel that no matter what the biryanis must not be neglected. The biryani though was really good. It wasn't much spicy yet they tasted good.
🍴 Kesariya kulfi ➡️ The kesariya kulfi are one of the best. They are served in small quantity yet they are amazing.
🍴Moong Dal Ka halwa ➡️ Moong da Ka halwa itself is one of the iconic desserts in any north indian cuisine. The halwa which was served here was good. The essence of ghee could also be felt.
🍴Rasmalai ➡️ The Rasmalai was sandwiched between two jalebis they were simply superb. The jalebis were crispy and tasted good.
All and all kesariya is a wonderful place for some royal shekhawati thali which gives you a feeling of royal dinning. The service is top notch. The varieties of chaat was good. Make sure you go taste their chaats before July 15. The main course is good and the desserts are amazing as well.
Kesariya - An authentic Rajasthani cuisine restaurant
My reasons for the 4 star rating :
✓The chaats were amazing. Something you shouldn't miss.
✓The service is on point. Everyone is overly courteous and they make sure you're fed well.
✓The food is rich with lots of ghee in almost every item.
✓All the sweets in the Thali were yum; have to mention the Malai Ghewar with Rabdi was outstanding, couldn't resist, had to ask for more!
✓Chandan Sherbat or the Sandalwood drink that was served here was by far the most refreshing drink I've had!! They serve it as a starter drink and it's inexplicable how refreshing it felt after each and every sip. What was meant to be a starter drink turned out to be my drink throughout the meal, got a refill atleast 3 times and was still craving for more. It was toooo good, to say the least!
Head's up before you go here :
✓No ala carte here, only sumptuous Rajasthani Thali.
✓Insane variety on your plate
✓Make sure you're on an empty stomach!
✓They've got valet parking
✓ Be ready for some royal treatment!
✓Be ready to crash(sleep) after eating!
Suggestion:
The ambience is good barring the lighting, I felt it was way too bright, they could have reduced it, maybe.
Must visit!

Kesariya is like a refreshing breeze of royalty touching the roots of our traditional culture. A classic restaurant chain based in Bangalore with deep-rooted in Rajasthani specially Shekhawat tradition. The best words describing it as “the voyage encompassing the Marwari code of hospitality, austere decor, and some heavenly food”.

AMBIENCE AND SERVICE
Pure royal ambience awaits your experience. With royal traditional ambience, it surely gives you a feel. Silverware thalis with similar curtelary, almost 70-80 pax capacity and well versed staff is a brief about this place.

FOOD
We went there on a Saturday afternoon to enjoy the newly launched CHAAT festival. A variety of lip smacking chaats are here for you to enjoy this CHAAT season that's from 5th till 15th of July.
With options from pani puri to papdi CHAAT, from palak chaat to raj kachori, from chillas to dahi vadas, from dal pakodas to samosas and kachori, they have almost every chaat item in the list.
Would suggest not to overfill yourself here as the thalis and a royal experience is what awaits you.
Thalis are very rich with gravies made from dry fruits with a more subtle flavour and not spicy. Food served in silverware thalis with similar curtelary gives you a royal traditional feel.
They have almost 20 dishes to serve in the form of starters, mains, dals, kadis, and desserts. The starters vary with kachoris surely a favourite. The mains have array of vegetables in paneer, korma, bhindi, dals, kadis, kanjis to dijest.
Surely the best when it comes to desserts. The moong dal halwa is surely the best in the town. The kulfis are really good.
Overall, really filling and lip smacking vegetarian meal awaits you.

Had lunch there on a Sunday afternoon. The staff looked overwhelmed. There was not a single front staff representative who was free to attend to new customers coming through the door. There is a chaat festival going on there now, so apart from the regular menu, there were live counters of around 10 chaats. All chaats were good, some of which I had for first time- such as Kachori-Kadi chaat, Dahi Gujiya and Moong Dal-Cheela chaat.
The regular menu was less impressive comparatively, but good on its own. Full marks for thier starters, drinks and sweet items, but 4 out of 8 sabzi/gravies/curries were average. So were couple of rice items. But most items were good, the staff were friendly, prompt and food was very filling. Especially since the chaat festival is going on, the food is way too much in my opinion :-).
Been here on chaat festival day, and seriously chats were too good , authentic taste, 100 on 100. I first time tried kadhi kachori chat which was good. Samosas were also awesome. First time had proper norn indian chats in Bangalore.
About food, daal bati churma and Ghewar Radbadi was amazing, chandan sharbat was also good, in starters dahi kabab was good, actually I was pretty much full after this, so felt other dishes were average like any other Rajasthani thali. Still I loved bajare ka rotla and lasan ki chutney.
staff is friendly and service is very nice. Overall had a good experience
Nice ambience and food. Being a vegetarian, love Rajasthani Cuisine. Relished the starters and main course. Specially Dal baati, my favourite.
Its a place for authentic Rajastani food! Everything was good except the pulao!
Waiters were friendly and the ambience was also good! The waiters tell u how to savor a particular dish in case u donot know! Worth the money!
I had the chance to visit Kesariya's new outlet on its invite only opening night. It was a remarkable experience all throughout.
Their ambience is top notch. The owner who took us on a tour of the restaurant told us that the pillars had been brought in for ambience and were a couple of centuries old. It all helps set the mood in. Another thing I was fascinated by were the cutlery.
The service here is top notch. Since most people seem to have relatively less experience with Rajasthani cuisine, they explain every dish to you in detail which adds to the charm. You get to wash your hands right at your table as well. It's the entire royal package.
The food here was sumptuous. I especially liked all their sweets. A more hefty set meal you won't get anywhere else. I'm preferably a non-vegetarian, but the dishes they serve here will give you a new appreciate for vegetarian food.
Since this was at special invite, I am unsure of how much the meal would cost. However, considering what a lovely experience this was, I'm certain the bill would be worth it.
Amazing food and place.. totally worth spending.. moong dal halwa and dal bati churma was rily nice.. masala chaas was too good.. we njoyed our meal on fathers day..
We tried this place for lunch today.
The food was great with ample choices most of which were very flavorsome. The drinks (chaas, chandan drink) and starters (dahi chaat, kachori, tikkis etc) were excellent and so were the desserts (Rabdi upon ghevar, moong dal halwa, aamras)! I also enjoyed the Daal Baati choorma which supposedly was the best I had in the recent days.
In the main thali there were several choices, and most were good. I however found the aachari aalo and a few other dishes to be slightly salty.
Moolah: Rs.1600 approx. Inc. taxes for 3 lunches.
Pros: Good food, interesting vegetarian selections, brilliant well-maintained serve ware, helpful and friendly staff, beautiful décor, well timed service.
Recommended - Family meals, weekend lunches.
Excellent food ambiance and hospitality would like to visit often. Wish they maintain quality. Great place to go with family and friends. Thanks
Firstly, Kamma Gani 🙏
A wonderful place to eat all you want. Great ambience and the place is quiet and comfortable.
The service is very good and the staff are very courteous. The best part is there is a process and each of the staff are well trained.
The food is good and well prepared. The staff explicitly state the name of the dish whilst serving.
The expanse and variety of the dishes is vast. This would mean, go there for brunch to make it worth the variety 😍
They start with dhal baati choorma, jilebi and starters like samosa etc. A nice chaat ensues. Then you arr ready for the main course and you will be served with umpteen dishes to be enjoyed with phulkas, pooris and rotis.
Then a rush of rice goodies follows too soothe your palate. There are also a couple of sweets served. All these while you can down the food with nuce chaas and jal-jeera
Like they say, “save the best for the last”, they end the meal with the “kesar kulfi” 😍
Be sure to visit empty, cos you will be super full when you check out 😊
Peace 😇
Beautiful restaurant. Food was served in right quantity. Staff - friendly/knowledgeable and happy to serve. My only reason for 4stars is that some of the starters and veg could do with less salt ( did mention to staff )
It's was a really good experience. The authentic Rajasthani delicacies were absolutely delicious. But, note that the spice levels are not too high, if one were to crave for a very spicy dish. Overall a good place to visit.
One of the good Rajasthani style veg thali. It is located in Sadashiv nagar has lots of dishes in thali. Specially daal bati churma. They change dishes on daily basis. Highly recommended who loves Rajasthani food.
Quite good food,Rajasthani type but only veg
Pretty costly too,Rs 695/-
Kesariya offers food from Rajasthan's Shekhawati Cuisine. Traditionally, Shekhawati is famous for its spicier touch to food, and I felt that in a few dishes.
With its rich interiors and silver plates & bowls, Kesariya treats you like a royal. With its pure vegetarian menu, Kesariya can become popular amongst the locals.
I visited this place during their Chaat Festival. The festival included a quintessential range of Indian street foods, from Pani Puri to Aloo Tikki to Dal Pakodi to Dahi Gujiya. All chaats were delicious, but the standout was the Chenna Chilla.
The thali comprised the traditional Daal Baati and Churma, spicy Papad, Onion Kachori, Mirchi Vada, Bhutte ka Pakoda, Paneer in Gravy, Creamy Green Peas, Bhindi Masala, a Rajasthani special Ker Sangri, Dal Paratha, Jalebi Rasmalai Sandwich, Moong Dal Halwa, and more. All the items on the plate were delicious. However, the halwa was exquisite. The small portions of food in the thali are sufficient for one's belly.
Kesariya is worth a visit. Cheers!
Great experience.
Very good Rajasthani food.
Beautiful ambience and many varieties are available.
Taste was good 👌 and feels royal.
Staff is polite and friendly.
Pricing is also good.
Parking is available.
Kesariya restaurant at Sadashivnagar in an authentic rajasthani style restaurant with lots of variety and delicious food. The ambiance in the restaurant is also very nice. We only get the thali at restaurant which comes with lots of dishes that you would to taste if your a lover of rajasthani food. Do visit once to experience the lovely restaurant and food.
Kesariya - It smells so good, isn't it. Even the food here smells & tastes yumm....
They serve thali (Veg) style Rajashthani cuisine here which has almost 30 items in the plate, all served unlimited. The entry, the ambience, the cutlery, the service, the food all feels so royal here. Just ensure that you have a good appetite, go empty stomach (& wear some loose clothes 😂), or else you won't be able to finish the entire plate, though the portion size for each item is considerably less which can be repeated. The food was really light on tummy & the best item on plate as per the name goes as is - Kesariya Kulfi. The cost is justified by the quality & quantity of food served here, as well as the overall experience.
We ensured that we hogged like anything & our waist lines increased by around 3 inches. At the time of return, we were barely able to walk 🤭.
I recently visited Kesariya with my team for a lunch outing, and we had the Rajasthani thali. The restaurant is located in Bangalore and specializes in authentic Rajasthani cuisine.
The food at Kesariya was simply amazing. The thali included a variety of dishes such as dal baati churma, gatte ki sabzi, kadhi, and bajra roti. Each dish was prepared with utmost care, and the flavors were truly authentic.
The ambiance at Kesariya was also great, with traditional Rajasthani decor that added to the overall experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that we had a great time.
Overall, Kesariya is a must-visit for anyone in Bangalore looking for a true taste of Rajasthani cuisine. The food, ambiance, and service all make for an excellent dining experience.
Amazingly tasty Rajasthani cuisine.
Cannot recommend enough.
Great service, vast spread, very nice ambiance and unlimited servings.
Highly recommended.
Overall great experience.. nice service, good ambience
Coming to food it's a full Rajasthani veg thali, 3 starters, 2 chats that includes dal bhati churma, 1 chaas and 1 lemonade, rotis, accompaniments, 3 varieties of rice, 2 sweets and top up with kulfi
Nice food, service was slow and decent. Bookings were taken and they had reserved tables
My vote goes to Dal bhati churma amazing taste and of course rajajsthani sweets
Costly they charge more on holidays even if it's a weekday, also expect them to serve more traditional Rajasthani dishes and not very dry starters
No idea about food just we had whatever they served varieties are there nice experience for first time
Good service and hospitality extended by Gokul
Food was tasty relevant and appropriate
Only Amras though not native to Rajasthani food was still good for Bangalore weather
Very courteous staff
The food is good. The setup is nice and cosy with the food being in silver plates. The staff are very nice and friendly. Considering this place is mainly a Rajasthani thali place, there's nothing much for you to choose from in terms of food options.
Only thing - you really need to have an amazing appetite to finish everything in the plate.
The food was partly awesome, partly average tasting. The service on the other hand, was excellent. Right from explaining what each dish is to coaxing us for second servings, I enjoyed the process.
A good place for families too, and the portion sizes here might initially look less, but by the time you're done, leaving the table is quite a struggle, in the best way possible.
Friendly staff. Excellent food. Chandan sharbat was out of the world.Dal bati chura was any day better than Rajdhani. Wonderful experience at reasonable rates. must visit
