Food is good .we have ordered chicken Tikka , fish tandoori in staters.fish tandoori was really good.its a good place to have authentic north Indian food with family.
This is the best place especially for non veg items. The tastes of food is superb that you can't ever forget. Just price is little bit high but rest everything is fine.
Went here on a sunny Thursday afternoon craving for a nice tandoor. Four wheeler Parking is a issue here. As a days special, I choose roasted chicken full to share it with my buddy Tejaswi Chittar the roasted chicken was top notch. The tender chicken, cooked to perfection with perfect flavours. The dip, side salad made my day for sure. Special mention to the restaurant manager who is super friendly and who's around for any queries as such. Cheers to the Moti mahal staff as well.

Ordered Chicken tikka masala online via Zomato. Delivery was super fast, but didnt expected an oil dripping curry which was absolutely pathetic. Suprised, after all this how come a 4 star rating. Yes this is because of the way restaurant handled this situation.
Gave them a call, explained about my experience. Within 29 mins, i had freshly made curry at my doorstep. This time curry was much better, no oil dripping and a delicious curry. They also requested to return the curry for their internal investigation. Keep it up team moti mahal 👍
One of the best places that delivers aunthentic North Indian food in the area. The chicken kebabs were nicely done. The dal gosht and butter chicken were soooo good. The butter chicken was creamy, not too sweet and perfect!

If was a casual visit and I had an eye on this place for a long time just because they have a 98 yrs long legacy attached to this restaurant. And the legacy is true.
It's a shame this place is not flocked and may be it's because of its location .. and I love that .. I really hate to visit a restaurant and wait for our table or late servo e because of crowd etc.

The chicken tikka was amazing as usual but the packaging is very disappointing. By the time the food got to me, the carrier bag was all dripping with oil from the cooked food. Not very appealing sadly.

The only proper Indian cuisine near my area . Loved all the non veg dishes, tawa chicken , murg mussallam are really tasty. They deliver and the service is also good . Weekly buffet is also there.
Ambiance was quite and calming even though the place is quite small for a fully flashed restaurant have not more than 6 to 7 tables.
We had ordered Gobi Manchurian, Paneer Dhaniya Adraki, Garlic Naan and Fruit Punch.
Gobi Manchurian was freshly made and delicious.
Panner Dhaniya Adraki was too oily and had no taste of Adrak (Ginger) more over it was like Kadhai Paneer, but no issues we liked it.
Fruit punch was also good in tastes.
Beauty was the garlic naans they were very soft and big in size.
I would start with the service and courtesy of the staff here which is extremely great. The ambience is pleasant and the food is good but the pricing is expensive, they also include service charge. The tandoori is really yummy☺
heaven for a delhiite craving north Indian fare. must have: butter chicken and butter naan. closest in taste to the north. daal makhni was ok. a bit pricey considering the ambience and location but definitely cheaper than flying over to Delhi for a meal.

Moti Mahal, a place to be for good Tandoori Cuisine. Parking is not a problem. Ambience is decent. However it took them 45 - 50 minutes to serve me food.
Manchow soup was good. Mutton Sheekh was terrible, the worst ive ever eaten in my life. Makkhanwala Tandoori Chicken was perfectly cooked. Malai Tikka was okay. Butter Chicken is just brilliant, easily the best dish available there. Naans were nice and soft. Biryani rice was flavouresome. Fried rice was nothing great. The desserts were pretty much regular.
However Appetizers and Entrees were slightly overpriced. Desserts were heavily overpriced. Overall, a nice experience.......

Went here on a relatively empty weekday.Had the mind boggling butter chicken.IT was ridonculously good.Even the chicken tandoori and garlic naan was amazing.Totally worth the money spent.
Also had the falooda, which was ok, nothing great.All this came up to 1500 for 2 people which I found tad bit expensive.All in all, great food.Definitely going back here again when I crave some butter chicken.

Paneer Achari is good nothing fancy. Tandoori chicken was really well cooked.
In the main course we ordered one Murg Dum Biryani, Vegetable Jalferezi, Dal Makhani along with 2 butter naan and Vegetable pulao.
Except the Vegetable Jalferezi everything else was great in taste, texture, presentation. The Vegetable jalferezi was not tasting fresh. It was more of tomato puree along with all the vegetables. More of sweet taste.
Overall, good interiors, staffs are well managed and are cooperative.
Excellent food but their pricing is a bit high. Service levels at the restaurant are pretty good. We normally order in from here and the quality has been pretty consistent. Butter chicken.. Their flagship dish is a "must have".
I was always skeptical about buffet but considering it is Moti Mahal, we decided to go for their Sunday brunch at party hall, seeing barely any crowd and found out that they have just started Sunday brunch last week . After tasting some of the dishes I realized this place never disappoint its customers and the Buffet was very economically priced as the veg option was Rs 599/- and Non veg @ 699/- with all the taxes.
we had enjoyed almost everything and some of the dishes stood out exceptionally well for me like, Russian salad, Dum Biriyani, Pasta etc. Dessert choices are limited though the home made cake and sweets are very tasty. Also they have included some of the south Indian dishes like Curd rice, Andhra style chicken, Fish curry etc. which is too very tasty.
Overall I recommend for all as the food is really tasty and value for money

It was a great fun at my friends farewell party at Moti Mahal Deluxe, they have great history to their food and the restaurant, could be witnessed through the archived photographs on the wall. The Restaurant has Contemporary and aesthetic ambience filled with coziness, light hindi music, balanced lighting which gives warm welcome by courteous Staff. Once we settled all of us at corner viewside table and ordered for Non veg Mix Grill for starter, Butter Chicken, Dal Makhani, Paneer Makhani and Bread basket in mains. They served us Non Veg Mix Grill on sizzling platter having an amazing aroma, good enough 7 varieties of non veg starters with an authentic Delhi taste.
Then came most awaited, most talked The Butter Chicken, alongside Paneer Makhani and Dal Makhani. Butter Chicken was truly fantastic, crafted with mesmerising taste that will linger for longer time and one of the best Butter Chicken I have ever had. Equally the Paneer Makhani and Dal Makhani were fabulous and rocked among vegetarian folks. Service was efficient and wait time was not long given the our order list. Staff was courteous and were accommodative for our special requests. Only the let down was no beer or the wine, rest everything was fine and perfect.

There butter chicken is simply awesome. For vegetarians can go for paneer butter masala. Stuffed paranthas are also good. Good place for North Indian food.
Yesterday we visited moti mahal with my cousin who had come from Dubai. This place never disappointed us with food. we had their traditional sizzler starters and biriyani. It was superb dinner and everyone enjoyed especially Kalmi Kebab and Malai chicken tikka. Cleanliness of washrooms and ambience of this

This is the first time we visited restaurant though we get home delivery from Moti Mahal many occassions. We had ordered Tandoori Non Veg Mix grill, Butter Naan, Butter Chicken and Chicken Biriyani. Food was excellent especially Non Veg Mixed grill which is served in a sizzler plate. The quality and taste of food is very good and ths ambience of restaurant is very decent and clean. This restaurant is not for cost conscious people, if you are ready to spend for tasty food and like to spend quality time there it is worth visiting. We would like to give five stars but the half point reduced for late service.
Good food and courteous staff, parking is a challenge as no dedicated parking is done for this resto, ambience is pretty good with desi music flowing around, Food quality is good but rates are very high and personally I feel rates justify neither quality nor service.
Second bad part is selling bottled water above MRP, this is ethically wrong as I felt, overall a good place for once or twice
The ambience is great here for a family dinner. We ordered non veg platter in starts and it was delicious. The Navratna kabab was okayish. Paneer tikka shalik was nice. Mughlai chicken gravy in main course was sumptous too and the naan was soft. Overall no complaints. The service is also prompt. So good experience.

Lunch at Moti Mahal was good experience. 2nd floor restaurant was decorated with archive photos on wall and chandeliers from roof. Carved design for roof sealing and bright red chairs made seating enjoyable through lunch time
Our order was veg jalfrezy, paneer pasanda, nan, Arabian bread for experiment and butter milk, lemon soda after lunch.
Taste, quantity was good, accompanied by papa, picked etc. Service was quick and responsive.
Service tax and other subsidiary taxes makes bill expensive plus no corporate discount makes it little disappointing.
Overall if you are interested in North Indian cuisine and ok to shell out tax amount without concern, MM is good place to have lunch.

First time visited the restaurant and let me tell the food is truly awesome especially butter chicken , dal makhani , non veg mixed grill is superb. I have traveled many places and had food from different restaurant but this is worth the money. The ambience is good. Congrats and keep it up.
This has to be one of the most underrated restaurants in the area. We visited this place for dinner on 21 April 2017 and enjoyed every dish we ordered. We started with Reshmi Kabab, Masala Papad and Sheesh Tawook, an Arabian chicken starter. Kabab was so well made and was cooked to perfection. I was also impressed with Sheesh Tawook which was pretty much melting in my mouth.
Then we ordered the usual rotis and naans with their specialty, i.e. Butter Chicken and it did not disappoint us at all. Butter chicken was the best I've tried so far in Bangalore. And the naans did not turn into paragon slippers like they usually would in other North Indian restaurants. The rotis remained super soft and delicious even after 15 mins. Overall a nice place to grab a meal with ur family. But I have to mention that this place is slightly on the expensive side.

If you're at Moti Mahal, then you've got to try their Butter Chicken else there's just no point going to this restaurant without having the taste of their authentic dish. It is here where the butter chicken concept began. The other starters to try here are afghani chicken, the chicken platter, paneer tikka, hara Bhara kebabs. It does end up burning a hole through your pocket but you've got to try this place once!

I happen to visit this place yesterday with my friends. It was a small place and had an average ambience but the chandeliers on every table caught my eyes for sure which are not very common in restaurants these days. We had ordered for masala papad and pudina chicken for starters and chicken lababdar, plain tandoori roti and plain kulcha for main course. The masala papad was not great in taste but the pudina chicken tasted delicious. The chicken lababdar and the breads also tasted really good. Coming to service, the staff was courteous and polite but I would love to mention about the watchman there who went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. The major turn off for this place is the exorbitantly high prices. We ended up paying 1408 bucks for just two and that too in a normal dine in place which was too high.
My overall rating : 4 for food and service - 0.5 ( for the extreme prices) =3.5
I will recommend this place to people for food and service for sure but this is not a place for people who are careful in spending money.

With a rich history, Moti Mahal in Delhi was one of the first restaurants to introduce the Punjabi cuisine to the rest of the world and many famous dishes include tandoori chicken, butter chicken and dal makhani. The restaurant brings the flavors of Delhi to the Garden City.
It is Located on a side lane behind Esteem Mall in Kempapura, Hebbal. The interiors have been given special attention to. I liked the chandelier over the tables. Especially if you are sitting on one of the tables along the glass windows. As soon as you enter, you come across one collage portraying the rich heritage associated with Moti Mahal.
The veg platter served by them is an attraction since they have a variety of all the best starters served in a sizzler. I simply love that distinct aroma of the sizzlers. Some of their best starters are seekh-kebabs, dahi-kebabs, and grilled cauliflower, stuffed-mushrooms, paneer tikka, and stuffed potatoes.
Soon after we were done with the starters, the restaurant manager approached our table to enquire how did we like the food which shows the attentive nature of the staff. The show stopper was Paneer Lababdar, Dal Makhani, and Butter Nan.
The ambiance is good, small but comfortable. The tables are spacious. Though I would recommend the management to work on the playlist of songs. Waiters were courteous and swift. Though the finesse was missing. Pricing is a moderately high but once in a while it's fine.

A couple of weeks ago, I was at Moti Mahal with a few of my friends to catch up over lunch on a lazy Saturday. I've heard a lot about Moti Mahal, especially their delicious Butter Chicken and Dal Makhani!
We decided to sizzle up the afternoon, so opted for a hot platter of Veg-Mix and Nonveg-Mix Grill. The veg platter had Stuffed Tandoori Aloo, Dahi Kabab, Tandoor Paneer and Haryali Kabab, which the Nonveg platter had Chicken Tandoori, Reshmi Tikka, Seekh Kabab and Mutton Ribs. Out of all these, my picks are Tandoor Paneer and Chicken Tandoori.
Picking up the pace, we needed something spicy and chinese! Chicken Manchurian was the dish suggested by the staff, on point with seasonings and taste. I'd reorder this the next time I'm there.
I had a long pending craving for some Butter Chicken after going through all the random posts on Instagram, and being at the restaurant which introduced Butter Chicken -I can promise you that waiting for the main course can become quite a difficult task. And when they placed our portions on the table, I was the happiest person. Strong aromas, great flavor, rich taste and creamy - Everything that a Butter Chicken needs to be! This is by far one of the best one I've had in Bengaluru. A worthy companion for naan on the veg side would be Paneer Birbali!
There isn't much one can ask for after having Butter Naan with Butter Chicken combo, unless the force with biryani is stronger! We ended up with Murg Dum Biryani and did not regret it!
Talking about ambiance, it's partially cozy, air conditioned, laid back, dim lit with old Hindi songs which remind of your childhood! The service, on the other hand, well, 50-50. At times, the staff seems to be quick on their feet and opposite at other time. Prices may make you think twice, but do not hesitate.

This place was my favourite since 2015 for both Indian food. After a long time visited today, but was shocked it's completely closed. Asked neighbouring shops and everyone said it's closed for almost 2 years now. Wondering how come people are posting reviews 7 months back!

Excellent Food Quality and Taste. Freshly prepared piping Hot. Nice background Ghazal music. One of the best North Indian Food in North Bangalore. The Chinese food is also very nice.

The food on our last visit was really good. The manager ensured the staff was serving well and managed our order appropriately. We went in peak summer and wasn't sure if their ac's were working as it felt a bit war.
Ambience is decent, food presentation is good.. Food taste is average.
Overall a good place for family dining and hanging out.
The food was excellent and the service was impeccable. I didn't expect such high quality, seriously. I would have given 5 stars if not for the pricing.
Personally I felt the cost was obnoxiously high... like the charge of Paneer dish was Rs. 329 - that's like no way , considering the locale. Except for this bump it's a great place... others could even give low rating for this price, but I am sucker for quality of taste and service... So here goes 4 star.
