This is probably one of the best California burrito branches. The highlight for me is the food quality and value . A special shout-out to Vinutha at the counter. She knows how to pack a burrito well and is very efficient with her service. Meals are delicious and satisfying.
Place is clean, and they maintain a great ambience with the Mexican themed music and decor.
Overall a great experience, hope they keep up the quality.
Well after a longtime I finally visited my favorite place, it was very well sanitize, and the staff was wearing gloves and headcaps, which made me feel like I can have food peacefully. If you never tried food here, it's time you try this, coz they are best in town when it comes to mexican food. I bet you will love it.

The Peri Peri dippers were amazing... Extremely crunchy and the dip was superb, just after a bite it felt a full flavour bomb explosion in the mouth. The Peach Ice tea was not at all cold, which can be taken as a feedback, however after cooling it, I'm bound to say that it was by far the best Peach iced tea I've had in my life.... This time I chose a combination of 3 with Mexican Paneer. Garnished with Lettuce, Jalapenos, Cheese and chilies. Crispy Tacos filled with soft paneer was a good combination. Filling might feel bland however the topping of chilies and Jalapenos balanced the spice.

We had barbeque paneer Burrito and it was pretty huge. It's easily good enough for two people at least. We enjoyed the subtle flavours. Veggies were crunchy and didn't feel too heavy after finishing the Burrito. Overall it was nice dining experience.

Everytime I enter an outlet of California Burrito, I get genuinely tensed, that I might not be able to finish the amount of food they serve.
I would have enjoyed that feeling and would visit California Burrito a lot more often only if their food was tastier.
A small place at the heart of Koramangala, with limited seating available. You place your order at the counter and see a mountain of food piling up. One topping on top of the other. A huge amalgamation of colours and smells.
They even have the option of getting *unlimited* soft drinks for Rs 75. Although very common in US food joints, concept of unlimited coke is not very widespread in India. But California Burrito is completely true to their word in that regard. They let the customer refill their glass however many times they want, on their own, from a self fill tap.
The rainbow consist of seven colours, but when you combine them all together, it's white. Same happens with the food here. With so many things together, the final taste that comes through is not enjoyable. It's messy, underwhelming and sometimes bland, with sudden jolts of taste coming through sporadic bites.
Halfway through the dish, eating becomes a chore and you keep on eating not because you like what you are putting in your mouth, but because you do not want to waste food.
Even some of their veggies and beans does not feel fresh unfortunately.
Their service is adequete - nothing to praise or complaint worthy there.
California Burrito is a place that I really want to like - but it feels like the bad aftertaste of a decent icecream.
Having said that, definitely recommended if you want a ginormous amount of food for what you are paying.

I've been to multiple outlets of CB, and each one maintain their standards and quality. I haven't noticed much of a difference in any of the outlets. Being said that. Their ambiance is too plain but that's something I like. And it's more of a DIY where you instruct the staff and they serve according to your choice of preference. A must try is their rice bowl with piri piri chicken. All the Mexican lovers, this is your to go place.

It was just okay in taste and it was lacking flavours in it. Spicy chicken burrito bowl was nice. Also tried peri peri dips. It was good too.

First time I heard about this place, it was from a co worker and he described the food as exceptional but he tells that about all the places he visits. Few days later I came across a podcast on YouTube which the owner of this joint did. I was fascinated with his stories about how he bought a van and started buying veggies directly from the local market, how he wasn't happy that few of the ingredients were authentic taste wise and so he tied up with farmers to grow the authentic stuff. So today I ordered a crispy mushroom rice bowl (regular) delivery to try it out for my self. The only other rice bowl experience that I had was with box8. This was definitely far better than that. Only thing is that the quantity was a little bit less. Could have filled up with more rice or lettuce or beans. It would have been the right portion of food that I eat for dinner. But no minus star for that. I guess it must be the right portion for others.
Edit: So I ordered spicy panner today and seems like they took my suggestion of adding a bit more rice or lettuce π. This also like the earlier one, tastes so good. Thank you.

There is no dedicated parking. You have to find a parking spot on the adjacent road. Parking a four wheeler here in this area is a pain .
Wanted to have a burrito so.. crispy mushroom burrito, Southwest quaesidia, taco and potatoe dippers. Everything was really good especially the Chipotle Mayo goes well with all the menu items will surely recommend to give it a try. If you are in the mood for Mexican should definitely give them try.

Frequently I visit here to have a healthy lunch. Authentic maxican foods are available though normally I go for the naked burrito aka salad. Lot of options and customizations available as per your taste. Crispy chicken and grilled chickens are just awesome. Albeit a bit expensive but never mind to pay extra few bucks when it comes to a healthy and tasty lunch. One advise to shop.. Please keep options for fresh juice as well.
