Its good but tr r other ice cream stores with better taste. Generally ice cream will be melted by the time it reaches. Also if you try death by chocolate the brownies kind provided are bit hard and not much recommended....
This place used to be near my college... So whenever I used to crave for ice cream I would hop in there and order Death by Chocolate. Quantity wise it was more than enough for one person and taste was heartmelting. Another favourite item of the menu is their Tiramisu ice cream. Oh it is one stop solution for all the caffeine addiction. Just amazing...

Polar bear! Death by chocolate. That just pop's up in my mind when I hear polar bear. But this time I ended up not eating death by chocolate and everything else. The person serving here was really nice and polite that he let me taste all the flavours. Woah! Such a flavour blast!! Pretty Nice ambiance, which was hygienic too. Well maintained.
Ice creams taste the best here . I would love to order sometime soon again . Chocolate sundaes I felt are the best here. Prices are alright and user friendly. Like that they offer Lipsmacking delights

Best place to have ice cream any time on any day.If u r a sweet tooth then it's must try place. Undoubtedly their DBC ( death by chocolate) is their best ....death by love I can say. The whipped cream on top with nuts is heaven,nothing can beat it, with moist spongy chocolate cake & hot chocolate sauce & I'm done ❤. Then we ordered for a fruit zest , it's a classic fruity based sundae , then we tried chocolate lava fudge, their chocolate sundaes are the Best.Finally ordered was a spicy potato sandwich which was decently good. Happy feels😊.

Polar bear Banashankari, is a great hangout spot.
Their chocolate lava ice cream is my favorite.
Cost wise, ambience wise and taste wise they are spot on.
Polar Bear is a very famous ice-cream chain. I love the kind of ice-creams they serve, like the different kind of fruit flavoured ice-cream. My all time favourite is DBC I love having death by chocolate at polar bear. You also get some quick bites there and is a best place for hanging out in the evening with some nice ice-creams and sandwiches. The ambiance is also nice small and cute. Actually there are many outlets of polar bear in the city where you can go near to your place :)
Had a great experience here. Tried the DBC and it was great. The service was very good. Not many tables for seating, so can get crowded sometimes.
I am a big fan of Polar Bear ice creams. This time we gobbled on Kesar Kulfi, Cookie caramel n cream & DBC. All were made well and were toothsome ;)
However, the ambiance here is a big turn off. From billing to the people who serve carry no professionalism nor they are presentable..The AC was turned off and by the time they turned it back on, the ice creams were melting!

Polar bear's sundaes was never the best ones out there to try out every time for me, but i kinda liked choco brownie fudge was pretty good and tried a few sandwiches too and i like em as well. So to wrap it up polar bear is definitely worth a try!
I had Death by Chocolate and Gadbad here. Guess what, it was awesome. I'm not a Chocoholic but I loved DBC. My nephew loves this place, he doesn't leave from here so easily. Price is little more but you can plan according to your budget. Taste of cream was also good. If you are a parent or there are children at home then you must visit here.
I have visited a few branches of polar bear in south Bangalore and I absolutely love this place for the ice creams. Even their sandwiches are good.
This time we had single scoop of rich chocolate, Belgian chocolate and lychee ice cream. I love lychee ice cream as it had lychee fruit in it and my all time favourite is Belgian chocolate and coffee brazilia.
The service is pretty quick and it's worth what you eat.
The Polar Bear ice creams are one of my favourite...I love their service and packing...Their caramel and chocolate ice creams all are yummm...I confidently say so cause I have tried all..and yet again would love to have my favourite Choc-a-block over again :)

We go here very often post dinner! It's one of my favourite ice cream places in the vicinity. My recommendations are Fig o honey & seven wonders, these 2 are just awesome! Service might be delay at times. But taste is consistent & decent prices! I recommend it👍

More than me, it is my father who loves this ice cream parlour. This ice cream place is located diagonally opposite to Jalsa restaurant or I can say the lane along Cake of the day near Banashankari BDA complex. It is a small cozy place which can accomodate around 8-10 people at a time.I like the flavours and the combinations offered at this place. We have tried - sinlge scoop of Butterscotch, cake fudge, kulfi, fruit punch, rum jamaica and then in sundaes - Fruit zest, Black magic,Butterscotch blast and our all time favourite - Death By Chocolate.
All the flavors mentioned above are just perfectly sweet and tasty.A complete "value for money" place.They also offer sandwiches and pizzas but they are not that top notch.All though I have visited different branches of Polar Bear, if feel they provide more quantity of ice cream to suffice the taste buds.Service is quick and staff are friendly.Instead of music, it is the television providing the entertainment.

I had a classic hot chocolate fudge here. The regular sized one it self was huge and filling for me. the quantitiy is good. It was amazing. I noticed that they have so many flavors and so many of these sundaes sorta mixed combinations. I donno what they are called. Ice cream dishes? anyway they were delightful.
I've always been a fan of Polar bear and I'll tell you why, compared to ice cream parlours like Corner house or Baskin robins, Polar bear is way better because they have more options. They don't serve just ice creams, they make sandwiches, burgers and a few other savouries. So this makes it something more than an ice cream parlour.
I like this particular outlet a lot because it's close to my place and service is pretty quick. I generally go there after a heavy lunch and it's one of my favourite dessert places. My favourite here is DBC, lychee with cream and the paneer sandwich.
At times it gets crowded and we are expected to leave as soon as we finish eating, so that's a but irritating because there are only four tables but apart from that this is an awesome place.
I've been to this place with frnds a zillion times and not even once felt y did I come here!!a really good place for ppl wid sweet tooth like me😁the classic DBC,choc a block, choco lava fudge,chocolate excess are a must try for chocoholics!!😍

Wide varieties of ice creams are available there..it is very economical..slightly disappointed with the triple sundae I ordered. Expected 3 different flavours of ice cream but they served vanilla scoop with different sauces.

This is the only ice cream parlour on the whole of 4 Kms radius around kumaraswamy layout :P ........this is a major advantage for the restaurant people.....but still......they have maintained the legacy of polar bear......with mouth watering choices for ice creams and finger licking good sandwiches they have managed to attract a lot of people.......if I am not grabbing a cornetto cone this definitely the place I would visit........after heavy lunches I usually grab a scoop any new flavour and go.........the prices are usual polar bear standard ......the ambience is amazing ....they have a huge place.......and lot of seating arrangements......the place is extremely clean and very peaceful.......awesome place to spend time with laptop or a book along with a cup of ice cream and a sandwich .
When you visit please do try the different scoop flavour ....DBC and all are good...but new flavour they produce are quite different in taste!
I am a die hard fan of Corner House's DBC (Death By Chocolate), but had heard good reviews about Polar Bear which is in BSK 2 Stage.
Now talking about the ice cream, i did order for their DBC & Gudbud, the price is more or less the same when compared to the other peers.
The quality of the ice cream is also good with lots of Cashew nuts.
The other thing is noticed is about the Branding of polar bear which goes unnoticed, be it the dispenser they use & to the spoons as well.
Overall, for the price charged, i feel it is good.
Give it a try.

This ice-cream shop in the BSK 2nd stage area is one of the THE BEST according to me. The reason I say that is coz I have visited this place plenty of times. Infact, I don’t even have a count of this place. There is a need to get addicted to the taste of a place for you to visit the place. This is exactly what the Polar Beat @BSK has done to me. Located on the same road where ‘Baskin Robbins’ is there. It is actually situated next to ‘Anand Sweets’ or ‘Bells & Candles’ on the 21st main road.
Some of the top favourite ice-creams that I have tried and just called for the taste is the ‘Death by chocolate’. They call it as the DBC and whenever it is called out you get a wow feeling and the feeling come to you to grab it soon after it comes to you.
Now, it is a special ice-cream mix that is served in a pretty big box. There is a big layer of chocolate-sauce that can be found right the bottom which is yummy to taste after the ice-creams are over. Chocolate ice-creams, nuts are also essential ingredients into this special cake. If you are going there, its a must that you try it out :)
Next on the list is the ‘Deep Purple’. This again is something I have taken plenty of times when out with family The reason is that many folks like the flavour of grapes. And this one goes one step ahead by putting the ‘Black Current Ice-cream’, puts some awesome grape sauce on it I think so. And then put these ‘blueberries’ which is simply yummy yummy :)
I guess I like it but may be not surely ahead of DBC. Usually ladies would love this flavour.
Other ice-creams that I have tried include - Brownie Fudge. This is an ice-cream with a ‘brownie cake’ added into it and the usual mix of choco-sauce, nuts. Again, if you have already tried DBC and want to try some variations, go for this one.
I think another favourite which is more of all-time favourite is the ‘Banana Split’. I guess this one is a mix of 3 different scoops of screams, a piece of banana and nuts. But this ice-cream is quite heavy and easily fills your stomach.
Another ice-cream the comes to my mind is the ‘Hot Chocolate Fudge’ which is the traditional hot-chock sauce with some vanilla ice-cream and nuts on it. That is also quite good here.
Well, I have only tried ice-creams over here. I think they also serve some sandwiches also, may be i will try it out sometime.
But for me, I am happy taking ice-cream there. And that too they say it is completely vegetarian, so why will you not go coz its simply superb.
Overall my experience have made me feel happy about this place. So, I will give a generous 4 for this place and would say it is a must visit if you want to take ice-cream in BSK 2nd stage area. The staff there are also quite nice to talk to. They have a TV, you can catch up some matches as well. And also they have the 1/2kg & 1kg packs, if you are keen on taking the flavour back home. Parking also does not seem to be a concern coz you will find it on the sides of the main-road vehicles will be parked. You can also take the road that comes to left and keep car there. Bikers don’t have issue as parking is right in front.
Food for 2 considering 2 ice-creams are taken would come upto Rs.200-300.

This place is bloody awesome. The only reason I've not giving it 5 stars is coz the sitting arrangement inside is a little cramped but ice cream makes up for that. Also not to forget they have plently of variety to choose from. The staff greets you. Nicely and the order is served within minutes. It all comes at a nominal price.
I'm from Delhi and I bet you. There is no ice cream parlour like Polar Bear in Delhi(with that price range/variety). One of the many things I miss from the city is Polar Bear.
