Techie who is interested in the art of culinary which triggered him to start this pub, more than the drinks I suggest you to visit for the starters and the main courses.
I absolutely love this place. I highly recommend this to everyone. The food, the drinks, the ambiance. I had ordered for something I have never seen on any menu before. Its called the 'Stuffed Taag'. Its a must try.
This lockdown due to covid-19 has given me enough time to finish all my pending reviews. I would like to apologise for a late post.
The thing which attracts the most about a restaurant is the tasty food. I have been to multiple places but one and only reason to repeat a restaurant is delicious food.
Started with paneer tikka nuggets, peri peri fries, loaded veg Nachos and Alfredo penne pasta. The food was super yummy. The service was fast and staff was polite and friendly. This first experience led me to revisit for my bday celebration too. I definitely tried whole different set of dishes and I must say they were all delicious. Ambience is decent and not so loud surrounding. I really enjoy my both the visits and I definitely look forward for more dining experience.
I liked the food here. It is very tasty. I totally loved dum aalloo with zafrani biryani. They played good music here.overall good experience.

Absolutely fantastic place this, thoroughly enjoyed it. Located among the hustle and bustle of HSR layout, this place has an expansive seating area along with facilities to enjoy games like snooker, air hockey, Foosball etc.
We got ourselves comfortable and placed our order, order included crumb fried fish burger, peri peri chicken nuggets, crumb fried chicken steak and crispy chicken strips.
The burger was of a good size and the fish filling in between tasted nice.
Crispy chicken strips and crumb fried chicken steak were kind of similar with pieces of fried chicken which have a crispy coating on the outside. While the peri peri chicken nuggets tasted delicious, specially along with the sauce it is served with.
In between all this, we enjoyed a few rounds of Foosball and air hockey as well. Good way to spend your time as you wait for your order.
Price wise I found this place absolute value for money, and service is top-notch as well. All in all I totally enjoyed my time here and would recommend it to everyone.

The place is extremely good for couples, bachelors, married bachelors:)... My friend and I visited this place on June 23 2019 and found the place very reasonably good. I usually avoid basa fish as I find it tasteless. But the Peri Peri fish I had was over expectations. Well marinated and definitely goes with a mug of beer :).
I had a great time at Ciskus, HSR with my friends. The place is great and I loved the ambience and food. The place is very well managed and hygienically maintained by the team.
Food : We ordered Nachos, Cheesy pav bhaji and Rajma kalauti kababs for starter. For main course we went for rice & aloo dum which was amazing. Loved the Gulab jamun rabri and monk spike chocolate truffle cake in desserts.
Drinks : Must try apple angel in mocktail and long island iced tea in cocktail
Cirkus is a perfect chill spot in the heart of her layout. They have a wide range of cocktails and food which is just too good . I would highly recommend to go with the lamb sheek kabab, squids, chessy pizza and my favourite the pineapple chicken pizza, panner butter masala and jeera rice. And especially the best and rare RED velvet crepes.

When you crave BarFood, don't think twice, visit Circus. It's one of the happening places in HSR.
The best time to visit this place is the evening or the weekend. Weekdays this place looks a bit dull, You may not find the real vibe in the afternoon.
As ususal after our instafeed snaps and customary photo section, we settle down in a corner that gives a good view and enough fresh air. Now time to explore their mouth-watering menu. We have selected a few starters, main course, and mocktails from the list.
From the veg starter, we choose Potato Wedges and Peri Peri Fries. Non-vegetarians select Crunchy chicken salad BBQ Patty burger and Hawaiian Peri Peri Chicken Skewers as their starter.
Because of their vast collection, we were a little confused about the main course. Somehow we end up with Garden Fresh Pizza, Classic Fish and Chips, Peri Peri Chicken Steak, and Roasted Bellpepper Alfredo Penne Veg.
Now time to choose our mocktails and Dessert. Gulab Jamun Rabri, Apple Angel, Circus Mixologist Special, and Spicy Guava.
It turned out one of our large lunch outing, which happens once in every month for our gang. This place is a bit expensive side. But it's worth the money in terms of presentation, quantity, taste, and ambiance.

Visited for a quick catch up with a friend. So couldn't eat much but loved whatever we ordered.. their peanut masala is one of the best I have had. Peri peri fries were also good. Ambience : It’s a rooftop restaurant with Bar . The walls are covered with different kind of painting . They have ample sitting space which can easily accommodate 100-125 people . Its spread in two floors . The 1st is generally use for dance floor on weekends or for family dining.
The service is very prompt and they take care of all your small requests.
Coming to food they have a wide variety for veg and non-veg as well. Their special Christmas and New Yr. menu is going on and you should definitely try it. Below mentioned are the few delicious food we tried:

All the food are really succulent and it will tantalize your taste buds . And Special mention abouth the RED VELVET CREP it was really unique concept for me and I really loved it . If you are red velvet fan you gonna gorge at once🤩 ❤
The only reason I'm giving it a 4 start is because a certain food item was not perfectly salted. Angari Prawns that we ordered were quite spicy to our delight, but the prawn itself had a little less flavour mostly because of the amount of salt that was put if i may say so myself.
The ambience is good, it was a Thursday evening, hence the crowd wasn't as packed as it usually is.
The service on the other hand was really really awesome. Our attender, if i remember his name correctly was Mr. Ratan. Super Polite, he made sure we were comfortable, always was on a lookout for what we might need. Made sure our glass wasn't empty. His service was impeccable. In the midst of all the crowd, he made sure each and every table he attended didn't need to call him for anything. Kudos to him and every single person who works there who always seen very keen and eager to attend.
I was served by Justin and she did an excellent job! Love the place and will come back again :)
It's a weekday and just like I was looking for a midweek reprieve there were quite a few like me at the Cirkus. The pub is easy to spot and the parking is convenient. The ambience is great, quiet (no blaring music) and with a silent game on a large screen. The staff was attentive and the booze was great. Now the food I loved - the pizza was delicious and the Monks Chicken was absolutely divine. The staff was kind enough to point out that the accompanying sauce had booze in it (a dash of Old Monk I would say and as the name suggests). All in all it was a relaxing experience and i have my calender marked for yet another visit soon.
Your regular pub for a saturday night drink and football. Great prices and those get even better with zomato gold. So a pocket friendly one too.
Servers are very well behaved and courteous.
Pleased with the awesome experience I had here. The bartenders are friendly and courtesy, the wait staff like Ratan always have a pleasant smile while taking the order, the su chef Jinnu makes the best fusion cusine.
Overall an excellent experience especially with the rooftop view and chilled out ambience ..
FYI Wednesday is ladies night and the fireball whiskey cinnamon shots are pretty darn neat!! Pun intended!

I visited this place by chance on a Sunday evening. The place didn’t have a lot of people but the ambience was great so I thought I’d give it a shot. Ratan was the guy who attended to us . He was very prompt and suggested us to try the chilli mushroom. I ordered salted fries along and the food was really good. Goes great along with beer. The chill mushroom is the best!
Located at the prime location in HSR , this is a decent place for hangout with friends and corporate parties. I went there with colleagues and the place is spacious to accommodate big groups. Though the seats were torn which is not acceptable from any reputed restaurant.
The chicken and fish starters are good and they have a nice variety of cocktails and alcohol .

Even though our prime emphasis is tasty food but a place with a beguiling spirit makes our experience double-ey with glee . We always love a distinct concept of restaurant; from romantic themed to traditional ones and each place has its charms. A couple of days ago, we visited this humongous cool spot named CIRKUS resides in HSR has pushed the boundaries of motif which is eloquent to the world of live circus of living souls.

Two floors with varied sitting space is how I would define the Circus. The lighting is a bit low but you will love the music being played any day you pay a visit here. The service is fast and efficient.
In beverages, Circus Mixologist Special was amazing. It has crushed kiwi as the base and tastes great. If you want to enjoy looking at your drink before you sip it, snow martini must be your choice. It has vodka as base along with chocolate liquor and a dazzling presentation.
They have some mouth watering starters and flavoursome mains. You can have little bites of happiness with mini samosas served with imly chutney. It's a simple classic dish to satisfy your Indian taste buds. Paneer tikka nuggets are another good option in starters. It has crumbled paneer with crushed papad covering. It tastes delectable. But my favourite was cheese pawbhaji. It is loaded with cheese and has perfect mixture of masalas in it. Served with fresh paw slices toast in butter, you enjoy each bite of it.
I am not a burger fan but loved paneer burger here. It has fresh paneer patty and a layer of crunchy veggies. A unique combination of thin crust pizza with Mac and cheese pasta as toppings. It's worth a try when you are confused what to order because you want to eat both. In desserts red velvet lava cake was delicious and a must try if you love red velvet like me.

The lighting is a bit dull but nevertheless this place has got some great vibes if you wanna unwind during a weekday or tap your feet to some groovy numbers played by their inhouse DJ during weekends.
The seating options are pretty good where in one can choose between long bar stools, wooden chairs and sofas for groups.
Drinks (Cocktails) – 4/5
Old fashioned – my personal favorite in here (was a bit too strong) which is made by muddling sugar, bitters and whiskey served with a twist. I loved it.
But if you are looking a lighter one then try rest of them.
Circus juggler – A balanced concoction of vodka , gin, citrus juice and has both sweet and sourness to it. Somehow it aint impress me reason being the sour taste over powers the spirits in it.
Snow martini – a blend of vodka topped with chocolate liquor, was a bit too sweet for my liking.
Loved the attention to detail and presentation skills of the mixologist in here.
Food – (5/5) - (Perfect bar nibbles and appetizing mains)
Cheese Pavbhaji- Mumbai style pavbhaji loaded with cheese and served along with pav slices tossed in butter, would recommend for sure as it has the rustic touch with goodness of cheese.
Mini Samosa – yet another classic dish wherein they added ajwain that gives a little spicy kick in every bite.
Paneer tikka nuggets – Simple nuggets filled with minced paneer and cheese coated with crushed papad. This dish has naïve ingredients which are cooked to perfection.
Rajma Galouti – The show stopper for the day
A humble twist to classic mutton galouti –
They had used mashed rajma instead of meat along with rustic spices and shallow fried them in desi ghee. This one just melts in your mouth a classic one
Kudos to chef and his team for dishing out such wonderful ones, Will recommend this to one and all.
For mains we just tried -
Mac and cheese vegetarian pizza
A classic take on simple pizza with a twist to it. What if one loads the thin crust pizza with mac and cheese. This is a perfect example of trying out new dishes that turn out well.
Paneer burger – The patty was fresh and made with minced paneer and cheese
Then placed over a bed of iceberg lettuce, onions and tomatoes. Served with French fries. The bun was fresh and enhanced the taste.
Ended our meal with red velvet lava cake to satiate our sweet tooth. This one is a must try if you are ardent fan of red velvet cheese cake.
Service – (4/5) A bunch of enthusiastic folks, who make sure they are attentive the moment you step in and to suggesting what to pick from their wide array of cocktails and food choices they have in house.

A fabulous place which would be a crowd favorite in HSR in no time.
The prices are not too steep and the drinks are priced reasonably and they have got you covered with loads of offers for corporates, large groups.
The food is flavorsome and delightful. The staff show the warmth and make sure we have a great experience out there.

Cirkus is a casual dining and bar located in HSR Layout Sector 4. a 2 floor outlet with a huge seating capacity. the lower floor is air conditioned and has a standard seating arrangement, it feels more family friendly. the top floor is huge compared to the floor below, it houses a big bar counter with bar stools, it has a row of sofa seating, high chairs with tables and standard seating arrangement. there's a projector display streaming live sporting and other events. one of the good places in HSR to spend quality time with friends while relishing wholesome and delicious food and drinks.
Food Menu is North Indian, Continental, Italian, Fast Food. we tried bunch of things from the menu. starting from starters, main course to ending with desserts.
we had Paneer tikka nuggets, rajma galouti kebab, mini samosa bites from the starters, all these were pretty innovative in preparation and base ingredients used in it, if you love paneer tikka then you should try some Paneer tikka nuggets here, it's a fried version of paneer tikka. rajma galouti kebab was delicious, it's a patty shaped kebab made from smashed rajma roasted in ghee, absolutely loved the taste of it. mini samosa bites were pretty satisfying. a small finger sized crunchy and spicy samosas, tasty and yummy, i'm sure you don't get this variant of samosas at any other places in Bangalore. then from the main course we had paneer galouti burger, mac and cheese veg pizza, creamy spaghetti pistaou. paneer galouti burger is thick absolute sized burger with a patty made from battered paneer giving it a blend of sour creamy and spicy taste to it. pizza was just a typical pizza that you find in it at other places. spaghetti pistaou was flavoured with cilanto and had a thick sauce to it. lastly in desserts we had banana caramel cake, gulab jamun and rabri, red velvet lava cake. all were delicious and satisfying.
very patient full and courteous staff, the food was delivered on time, service was really good, i didn't notice anything in service part that I have to complain off, hassle free parking space for 2 wheelers and 4 wheelers right in front of the outlet.

Nice place to hangout with friends and family. Less crowded which is a good thing and food is also good.
Cirkus is a great casual hanging bar in HSR layout. The place is spacious, they screen matches and also have a pool table. Alcohol is reasonably priced, food can seem on the higher end given the quantity but it’s tasty nonetheless. Good service can be a tad bit slow and as the kitchen is on a different floor.
I would still rate this 5 as the quality has been consistent over the last 3 years that I’ve been visiting this place and the staff are super friendly, special shout out to vishu for always greeting us with a smile.

Cirkus a place with an interesting name and a new addition to the HSR drinking and dining places.
The first impressions are quite good in terms of ambiance and the service staff are eager to please.
The food and drinks seem to be still in a testing phase as the place is new initial teething issues are quite accepted and can be overlooked to an extent.
Some of the food and drinks were very good, so the place is definitely worth trying. The bonus is the place is value for money considering the quality and quantity served.

After hearing a lot about Circus, I decided to check this place out and it did not disappoint. This pub is situated in the heart of HSR layout and is crowded by evening. The restaurant has a warm, intimate layout consisting of a variety of seatings for big groups to individuals. Staffs were very good and courteous. Our mixologist made some really good cocktails and also taught us how to make few of them. They had very good music and a bit dim lightings. Service was a bit slow, some of the dishes took almost 45 mins to come to the table, which I think is not suitable for a Pub like Cirkus. Went there on a Saturday Night, The DJ was great, It will make you wanna groove even if you are non dancer. The mocktails were so-so and not much to choose from, Food was good and great presentation. Great place to hang out with friends. The interior is decent, everyone is really helpful and polite. Would definitely recommend this place.
The top floor seating arrangement is good. Big seating area. Service is a little slow but food taste is average. Portion size is moderate. Not many options in the Menu. Average pricing. You can have a good time with friends. Lighting looks beautiful in evening. It even has valet parking.

Yet another new restaurant opens at the HSR region. Cirkus is pretty big and a nice place to spend some time. It was on a Sunday that I had been to cirkus along with my friends and throughly enjoyed their food.

🇦The ambience of the restaurant is pretty good, it is a two storey building. I had my lunch at the second floor which was pretty bright and hot all thanks to the partial covering available at the place. The seatings are pretty good as well. This place is quite wide and suitable for big gathering too.
🇸The service at the restaurant is pretty good. The management crew are aware of whatever they are serving. The bartender was generous to show his skills with the liquor available at his disposal.
🇫What I ate ???
🍴Lamb chilly ➡️ The lamb chilly was very very spicy. It was minced well into small pieces and mixed well with the masalas and the onions. It was served hot. This is a must try for people who love spicy food.
🍴BBQ wings ➡️ The BBQ wings were thoroughly mixed with lots of sauce. The marination of multiple sauces and other ingredients were just perfect. I liked the BBQ chicken wings.
🍴Dum aloo with zafrani pulao ➡️ I never had any expectation on this main course but this definitely blew my head. The zafrani pulao was prepared with basmati rice. They had ingredients such as the saffron, ghee and cashew nuts too. The dum aloo gravy which was provided along with the pulao was simply awesome. The combination of these two were perfect.
🍴Tiger tight ➡️ I had ordered the tiger tight cocktail. It was a cocktail which was served in a long glass handle filled with various fruits such as the kiwi, pomegranate, apply etc and mixed with the vodka. It was like a mixture of goodness and badness into them. The cocktail was pretty strong.
🍴 Mushroom and feta cheese pizza ➡️ The presentation of it looked marvellous. The balsamic vinegar and a special sauce was spread across the thin crust pizza. It wasn't spicy but tasted unconventional.
🍴Half peri peri Chicken steak ➡️ The grilled chicken was well marinated and the sauce coating spread across the chicken piece was simply superb. It was spicy and delicious.
🍴Penne Alfredo pasta ➡️ The penne Alfredo pasta was a very unique pasta which was served at the restaurant. The bell peppers were ground together instead of sprinkled. This eventually made a white sauce seem to be a red sauce. The pasta did taste good.
🍴Gulab jamun Rabri ➡️ The Gulab jamun Rabri was served in a nice glass which are usually used to serve the cocktails. The Rabri had the right amount of milk and sugar. The only disappointing stuff was the Gulab jamun which could have been better.
All in all cirkus has a restaurant have good food and drinks. The cocktails are pretty interesting. The service needs a little of agility. A little improvements will definitely make sure the restaurant to be one of the best in that region.

A circus themed pub located in a prime area of HSR layout. Its a multi storied pub with lots of options to choose from the menu. The highlight here was undoubtedly the mixologist! He was very kind enough to customize our drinks and they turned out to be classic!
We visited this place on a friday afternoon and ordered starters, cocktails, mocktails and main course.
In Starters we had Magnificent Malai, Cheese Palak Kurkure and Makhai Moti sheekh. All these were fresh and tasty. Also the quantity was good enough for 3-4 pax. I personally liked the Cheese Palak Kurkure - the comination if of palak and cheese was just perfect.
In drinks we had the cirkus juggler, white owl beer cocktail. lion tamer, tight tiger, smoky cocktail and trapeze artistry. These cocktails were extremley well prepared by the mixologist. Each one had a unique flavour and the type of alcohol varied from drink to drink. My personal favourites were the white owl beer cocktail, tight tiger and smoky cocktail.
In main course, we ordered sweet corn and salsa pizza, rosted bell pepper Alfredo penne and dum aloo zaffrani pulav. Pizza was satisfactory and could defintely be improved as the base was not crisp and sauce used wasnt upto the mark. Pasta was delicious and the pulav was amazing too!
In desserts. we had walnut brownies with ice cream and gulab jamun rabri parfait. Walnut brownies were super fresh and were too good with vanilla ice cream. I would recommend to have this.
Overall a great place with vibrant ambiance, courteous staff, wide varities to choose from the menu. However, the service can be improved as it was on the slower side. I would definitely recommend this place and will visit again.
New places keep popping up in HSR. Location's great. Ambience and food were good too.

Latest addition to HSR, Cirkus! A new Resto-Pub and I must say they are really good! And also one of the best pubs in HSR! The place is spread across two floors, Base floor is an indoor seating and pub is on the top floor. One unique thing about this place which I loved was Do it yourself drinks, where in you can make your own drink with your own choice!
I had been to this place for dinner with few foodie friends and hopped on to order some starters immediately. Tandoori Khumb, Cheese Palak Kurkure and Samosa pinwheel were the vegetarian starters we ordered. Samosa Pinwheel was presented very differently, even tasted delicious. Cheese and palak kebabs, crumb coated with papad, tasted good but lacked a little bit of spiciness. Tandoori Khumb was just perfect for my taste profile. My friends tried the Malai Jhinga and they loved it. Mixologist Mr Rashid made some amazing Cocktails and Mock-tails! Some drinks which we had were White Wine sangria, Lion Tamer and Tiger tiger.
For main course we had a Vegetarian Pizza and Mac n cheese pasta. Absolutely delicious! I definitely loved them both. Those generous toppings on Pizza and cheese with thin crust served the purpose. My friends did try their Chicken steak, Chicken Pizza, Cesar Salad( Non Veg) and Chicken Lasagna. Heard good reviews about Chicken Lasagna from them.
We ended our meal with Gulab Jamun Rabri Parfait, It was just perfect. Right amount of sweetness, Even though I am not a dessert person I felt it had perfect balance. Overall I had a good experience, Service could be improved a bit. Perfect place to hangout with friends or family.

Well, we went there for afternoon lunch. it’s a great place to hangout in HSR Layout.Nice Attractive Pub entrance which you can find on the main road. I liked the management they helped me to park my vehicle and then another person helped me to the trance. We have tried almost everything popular dishes of Cirkus. Murg Malai Pesto Tikka, and Magnificent Malai from the food menu and Mixologist special smokey Cocktail. They have a decent quantity of food and the quality and taste was really great. I didn’t liked the pasta since I am a pasta lover, I didn’t liked the rosted bell pepper taste. The most amazing man is the mixologist Rashid. He was very active and taught us to make cocktails on our own. Cocktails was too strong, among all cocktails Tight tiger was the strongest cocktail that we had. Starters taste was okeyish they should improvise. They have nice ambiance of two floors one is the terrace and lower one is sit down but the cirkus name should match with the ambiance.

Amazing place. Food was fantastic, posting pics of empty platters because we ate it all. Great vibe and Music was so funky. Great place to enjoy with friends and family. portion sizes are optimal. Kamikaze shots were just phenomenal. chicken peri peri, pizza, chicken pudhina (some version of green chicken, i dont remember the exact name) were so delicious that you will surely crave for more. great Spot in HSR layout keep it up guys. all the best.

With lots of Hangout places in HSR, Cirkus surely deserves the best spot to chill as it got extra Bwonie points for having the mixologist :)
Mixologist Mr.Rashid makes it more pleasing & enjoyable as he makes the drinks as we wanted.. Well we can also get chance to make our own drinks.. So much fun isn't it.. Had got its space in two different floors based on the diner preference..
They got ample seating which is good option for groups & office parties...
As im Sober, adjusted with mocktails.. Nothing out of box.. they are pretty decent.
Went with couple of friends, Hence tried various dishes from this place as below.
Starters :
Tried Samosa Pin Wheel,Cheese Palak Kurkure, Tandoori Khumbi here. Samosa Pin Wheel is unique & everyone loved it.
In Non Veg, Tried Crumb fried prawns ,Tandoori wings , Stuffed Chicken Leg , Mutton Sheekh... Stuffed Chicken Leg is the best among all.. It was juicy & yummm..
Main Course :
Chicken Lasagna : Just Order this & thank me later... this is my favorite dish for the night.
Chicken Steak : Steak was very well cooked & served along french fries..
BBQ Chicken Pizza : Thin crust pizza which loads of chicken chunks was pretty decent deal to share among friends.
Ended with Gulab Jamun Rabri Parfait.. Not too sweet, little watery & decent... best way to end our dinner...
Service can be little faster, would definitely recommend for groups

Absolutely fantastic place this, thoroughly enjoyed it. Located among the hustle and bustle of HSR layout, this place has an expansive seating area along with facilities to enjoy games like snooker, air hockey, Foosball etc.
We got ourselves comfortable and placed our order, order included crumb fried fish burger, peri peri chicken nuggets, crumb fried chicken steak and crispy chicken strips.
The burger was of a good size and the fish filling in between tasted nice.
Crispy chicken strips and crumb fried chicken steak were kind of similar with pieces of fried chicken which have a crispy coating on the outside. While the peri peri chicken nuggets tasted delicious, specially along with the sauce it is served with.
In between all this, we enjoyed a few rounds of Foosball and air hockey as well. Good way to spend your time as you wait for your order.
Price wise I found this place absolute value for money, and service is top-notch as well. All in all I totally enjoyed my time here and would recommend it to everyone.
The restaurant is based on the top 2 floors, and is differentiated with the top floor being available to smoke while the one below is not. The food, ambience, were good although you'll be overcharged for the alcoholic beverages. Overall it's good for occasional hangouts and party's.
