We loved staying here. The best attraction here is undoubtedly the location, which is very serene and peaceful. Not too far away from the city and still in the outskirts. The place by itself is very well maintained. Sight seeing wise, there are not too many places to go check out in and around. But, as a bird lover, we found a lot of these spots and had a great time exploring the surrounding areas. The owners play a very hands-on part with the whole experience, as in they prepare our breakfasts and dinners. And they're also very helpful in guiding us on tips that would be good for what we wanted to do. Of course, they also have a few massive dogs in their property that they let out every morning and evening. Once you get friendly with the more sociable ones, you can spend time with them as well. There are some really nice pathways around the property, so in case you enjoy biking, that should also be in your list of items to bring. Although we spent only a day there, we had a great time. It was a good break.

We were there for a weekend with the parents and in-laws and short though it was, it was like a breath of fresh air.... The family of dogs, the helpers, yummy food... The parents had kind of got shut off from the outside world because of Corona and just kept falling back into the everyday cooking, cleaning routine day in and day out. So it was a much, much needed break for them especially. They really loved it and it was a relaxing, laidback time for all of us amidst the peace and quiet and nature.... We really enjoyed talking to the owners, getting to know their views and thoughts, travel, yoga, food, the history of their place and the surrounds :-) Thank you so much again for these lovely memories, we'd love to come back :-)

I spent a most enjoyable 2 days at the Earth Kitchen home stay. It’s an easy drive from Bangalore. The property is beautiful. The hosts have taken great pains in conserving the eco system and biodiversity. The room was super clean and convenient. Arati and Naved , the hosts are fine people. Hospitable, chatty and shared their property to make me feel so welcome. I am vegan and Arati served delicious meals throughout my stay. Their dogs are sweet( and huge:):) ) and are secured inside their private residence at all times. I spent time walking along the village paths, listening to music and practicing my ukulele. The silence is blissful. The bird and peacocks sounds are so very welcome to our ears - drowned as they are with ugly city noises ! The night sky... twinkling stars and moonshine. So if you plan a trip where you want to live the slow life, this is where you need to go. Carry your music, books and mosquito repellent and sit outside, under a canopy of leaves and listen to Nature at its best :)

If you are looking for a quick weekend getaway to unwind and relax, this is your go-to place. A wonderful farm homestay with the most friendly, warm and welcoming hosts, who made our stay even more amazing.Upon arrival, we were welcomed by Naved who personally handed us over the keys to our cottage. The rooms were bright, spotlessly clean and well equipped. We stayed there only for a night and wished we could have stayed longer! The homestay is in such an amazing location that it’s perfect for evening walks, country tour on a bicycle and to simply connect with nature. Arati cooked some terrific food all through (Italian lunch, Palestinian dinner and Turkish breakfast) and I personally would recommend this property to travellers from all over the world.

There are several reasons why our stay here was magical. I'll try to cover a few of them here. The first would be the serenity of this getaway, which is just a little over an hour away from the maddening city. Imagine being surrounded by thousands of trees, birds and bees and just being. The second would be the food. Aarthi's spectacular cooking skills along with the beautiful produce she cooks with just ensures that the meals will leave you wanting for more. The third would be Aarthi's and Naved's hospitality. We stayed for two nights and within a span of a couple of hours felt absolutely at home. There are many more reasons, but probably one should discover it themselves when they visit this place.

Staying at Earthkitchen was an incredible experience. Aarthi and Naved are amazing hosts and we left their place feeling inspired by the life that they have created for themselves. Aarthi cooked some absolutely delicious food for us and we can't wait to come back for more!
