One of the oldest ice creams parlors of Bangalore. The place has expanded since the last time I visited it, a couple of years ago. The place has stood the test of time and has maintained its quality ice cream and reasonable price.

I've never been a dessert fanatic. Yet, the smells that waft out the doors of any Lakeview Milkbar is just irresistible.
A simple and welcoming ambience brings one to an equally similar menu, which is on point and perfection.
I tried my very first bubble waffle at this place, and I remain a die-hard fan to this day. Never did I think I'd fall so deeply for waffle, a dish I've never been a fan of. A personal suggestion is that the original vanilla bubble waffle is better than their red-velvet version.
I'll always try to pop into the nearest LM post a meal to savour the syrupy goodness of these waffles.

One of the oldest and best ice creams joints in Bangalore, Lakeview has perhaps the best desserts and snacks in town. The staff are very friendly and service is prompt. At night they deliver to your car if you pull up just outside the place.
Hands down the best bubble waffle 🧇 I have ever tasted ... maple syrup on top just the Canadian way I love 😍🧇 I would scream for these ice creams any day any time just loved them all.. ice cream cake specials are my favourite.. Also tried cheese pizza, chicken cutlet and Hawaiian omelet totally yummy 😋.. pretty crowded on weekends... 9/10 definitely gonna try out all other flavours very soon
It all started when my sister and brother had no idea to go to any restaurant or cafe , so we decided to go to Lakeview and we didn't regret.

Located at MG Road, this place has an authentic vibe where families, friends, kids would be found slurping the desserts. Primarily known for serving some handcrafted desserts, here are my personal favorites from Lakeview Milkbar:
1. Fudge Brownie Waffle: Whipped cream, Ice cream, 2 Brownies on a regular waffle base that is topped with chocolate fudge sauce
2. Banoffee Waffle: Banana base that comprises of Nutella, sliced bananas and vanilla icecream!
Heard lot about this place so planned to visit, but I found itt overrated. Icecreams, shakes are normal just they have a huge variety in these. Ordered pizza which is just like normal Street side pizza, thin crispy crust with veggies.
I suggest don't ho with lot of expectations and ya the prices are bit higher as per quality and services.

We tried the Ice cream with cream, Fruit Salad with Ice cream and Brownie Bubble Waffle. My favourite was the Waffle. It had brownie pieces, Fresh cream, Ice cream, bubble Waffle and fudge sauce. So so delicious! Definitely worth a try! :)

The bubble waffles, the shakes and sundaes are all to die for! Decent prices, if not a bit expensive.
They have attractive pastries too, the red velvet and rainbow being personal favourites.

This is the perfect place for your late night cravings. They serves delicious desserts. We have tried their icecream, hot chocolate brownie and pastry cake. Food is delicious and freshly made. There service is very good and courteous staff. Must try this very old place from Banglore who introduced icecream to bangaloreans.
A traditional ice cream parlour in Bangalore called LAKE VIEW. Any dessert you order it’s mouth watering. They also serve mutton cutlet. It’s so soft and melts in one bite. Pizza though not big, but doesn’t compromise on the taste. Sundaes options are plenty. My all time favourite from past 25 years is fruits salad with Ice cream. Besides, decent place for late night desserts. We ordered Dutch chocolate special and butter scotch cake special. In pizza farm house feast was better.
Located ton the main road of MG road this place is decent to try out their pastries. Pretty good ambience and a very calm. The pastry I tried was a recommendation by the staff and it was a bit hard inside. The staff was on the call for a long time and made me to wait for a while. Over all a decent & calm place to hang out with friends. Do tried their birthday cakes. PS- Paid parking s available on the other side so please make use of it .
Well everyone knows about this place and what it's famous for. You guessed it right dessert!! Well this is one of the oldest outlet. They are packed always and it's difficult to get a table inside the restaurant. To ease the order process you can always order from your car from the parking and your order will be delivered to you right there. I have tried almost all ice creams that I really can't tell which one is my favorite. You can give it a try and enjoy as many as possible. I like the single scoop flavors over any other mix.

Lakeview brings back a lot of memories for me. The bunch of us used to visit with our grandparents and now we get our kids here to pass on the tradition of creating new memories.
With the changes in the menu it is a place that will appeal to all age groups.

We ordered bubble waffle with icecream, mango icecream bowl, dry fruits icecream, hot chocolate fudge, sizzling brownie with vanilla icecream(their signature item), pista milkshake, blueberry cheese cake. They all tasted amazing especially the brownie and the cheesecake(extremely creamy).Loved the quality and quantity

I went to Lakeview twice. The first time was spectacular (5/5), the texture of the sundae had a nice crunch and creamy balance. It was neither too sweet nor bitter. The second time was horrendous (2/5), the sundae was overwhelmingly bitter and turned me off.
What to tell about this place .... it’s one stop destination for a perfect hangout in heart of Bangalore ... this is one of the oldest and best.. their quality has never dipped .. the staffs are rendering service with a smiling face even late at night ... feel home 🏠 whenever I come to Bangalore I make it a point to visit this place at night after dinner for desert 💖
Best place to chill out with friends and fam in the weekends , but patience is virtue so wait for ur turn cuz the place gets very crowded on weekend nights, cheesecake are worth trying along side the regular sundaes .
Be prepared to enter into a retro place that's been here in namma Bangalore since the 30s. I came here with my parents who've been coming here since their 20s!!

Had been to this place today, Classic and beautiful, most of the people are going to first floor... I had ordered milkshake and bubble waffle. Waiters are polite. Had few insects on ground floor.

One of the oldest ice cream joints in Banglore. Good thing is the prices for the ice creams and shakes are pocket friendly. Me and my wife had sizzling brownie, it was delicious and the brownie was just wooww.
Decent place for late night desserts. We tried savoury dishes alongwith desserts. The chicken cutlet was good but had less salt. The veg cutlet was very oily and full of green chillies. Pineapple pastry was fresh and soft. Pineapple shake was appropriately thick. Hot chocolate fudge was the best.
Yay!!! It was the best cheese cake I ever had and the Friday specials were mangoes with yummy ice cream with all the flavours on it... This place has always been the favourite ice cream for my dad n mee!!
The best place to drop in for fresh icecreams! One of the old places which started the famous “sizzling brownie sundae”!!! We still go back here when we crave for one and though they have renovated the place, the icecream flavours are still the old school delicious!

The legacy dates back to 1920's where in it was the first ice cream parlor of the city. The taste of the ice cream touches the soul. They also serve pizza, burger. I love the waffles over here. They are just too good. The ambience is very nice. Pastries and slices are luttle expensive though.

I had a brownie fudge which was pretty good,even the honeymoon special and dry fruit special was good.
The service was quick but the only problem is that getting parking is very difficult but the good thing they give service to the car.

This is a very old dessert place but doesn't fail to impress you. It has a good menu. They are various options you can choose from. Once I had been there with my family on a Sunday night, They also have car service.
A place that was known for its sizzling brownies and sandwiches. Over time it seems the quality of their ice cream is not as it used to be, especially not for the price they are charging now. Also nowadays I find their chocolate sauce a little watery. On the other hand their pastries and cakes are a wonderful delight.
One big issue with the service as of today was that the paper menu seemed very dirty and worn off.

Felt the sweet factor was on the higher side for the Ice Creams as the flavors were superseded by the sweetness. Service was quick by the staff & portion size was just good.
Lakeview has been around for a longtime, it is one of the old and traditional ice cream parlors of Bangalore.
Its open till quite late at night and we happened to visit this place around 12 am only to find it completely packed. Somehow managed to get a table and ordered a red velvet sundae along with a sizzling brownie.
The red velvet sundae was something different and nice while the sizzling brownie is the usual hot chocolate sauce poured over the ice cream on a hot plate giving it a sizzling feeling. Both the items were good and tasty.
Price I found a tad bit on the expensive side for what was being offered. Nevertheless, this place is worth a visit once in a while for the desserts and just to get a feel of old Bengaluru.
The quality of the ice cream itself is top-notch. Creamy, rich, and bursting with flavor, each scoop is a heavenly delight. The ingredients are evidently fresh, and the attention to detail in crafting each batch shines through in every bite.
Amazing classic desserts. We really enjoyed the New York Cheesecake (was exceptionally creamy and dense- one of the best I've had) and the fruit salad with ice cream ( which was simple but surprisingly delicious). The portion sizes are massive and everything tastes incredibly fresh.
The place is unpretentious and has a simple vibe but the classic desserts here will not disappoint.

Its been quite sometime since I wanted to visit this place basically for their famous bubble waffles.. and while the waffles were yumm, I feel it lacked proper presentation... We had ordered banoffee bubble waffle, and the taste was great... But I feel they could have given a better presentation of the same.. there were 4 sliced banana pieces and a scoop of vanilla with maybe a spoon of Nutella on the side... All I'm saying is they could have been a bit more generous with the ingredients...
We had also ordered a pizza... Which was okay... The serving staff not so keen on serving... They didn't come to the table to take the order for atleast 20mins and the order took too long.. and they didn't keep basic water bottle. Overall, I felt the service was not upto the mark.

The ice cream and pastry selection is great . Portions are generous , but they can tone down the sugar . They also serve sandwiches and burgers .
