Nice place for South Indian Breakfast
We order fried rice qty 2 and Gobhi Manchuria 1 from Sri Nidhi Restaurant. So, the food and taste are very good no doubt about it. But the only a bit disappointing is the quantity of food is less. So, if they could add little more quantity will be helpful to enjoy the food.ย
Thanks..
A very good place to have breakfast. Almost every dish that I have tried here is great. Idli,
Poori , wada, sheera (kesari Baath).
The bhaji given with the poori is unique and tastes good.
Neat place, well maintained and great taste. Can always try when around hrbr layout or Kalyan nagar.
Srinidhi serves the best vegetarian dishes in town and if it's coming from a non veg such as me, then its definitely a place worth trying. The service is remarkably fast and the menu is awesome too.
The only drawback was the limited number of seats compared to the vast customers arriving, can't blame them since the food is very delectable and it's price reasonable.
Their food has been of the best standard from the day they have started operations! Love it and so do our kids! Never had a complaint and the management and staff are very polite and helpful!! Kudos!
A VERY HYGIENIC PLACE.
-GO TO PLACE FOR SOUTH INDIAN BREAKFAST.
- FRIENDLY BEHAVIOR OF ALL THE STAFF.
- PROMPT SERVICE.
ALTHOUGH, INSTRUCTIONS COULD BE TAKEN CARE OF.
Quick service is its strongest point and the food has no faults according to me. Ideal place for a quick breakfast in the locality. They have good meal options too. My parents had a good time. Recommended for all.
Have tried Paneer CHilly, Babycorn Manchurian, North Indian Gravies and all of them were good. Even we will receive the food very quickly. Overall its very good.
Have tried almost their Northindian as well as their Chinese dishes and they are all pretty decent !tad expensive for some of the dishes. Pav bhaji was a disappointment but other than that very good place for breakfast !
As the name goes it's veg food court.Self service.Less expensive. Good food. You get your food very quickly once ordered. Only problem is outside no place to park ur car as if now due to road construction.
A top class darshini hotel . Best quality food , ambience and cleanliness one can expect in a darshini hotel . A top quality restaurant . Decent prices .
Gud place for a quick bite, lazy to cook Breakfast tis is where you head to.
You can indulge in nice sumptuous South Indian breakfast, which every other place has to offer like idlies, poor, varieties of dosas etc..
Apparently their open dosa is a most popular selling thing here. Gud ambiance, quick service, well maintained and gud value for money.
Ambiance : 4/5
Food : 4.5/5
Service : 4/5
VFM : 4/5
Is it the best one around this area? No. Is it the best vegetarian Darshini in this area? Yes. Do try their Masala dosa and their Pongal which is quite good. In the evenings their Kholapuri Pav Bhaji is a winner for those who like spice in their food
self service restaurant - prompt service
cleanliness is good
parking is available for few bikes and around 3 cars in front of the hotel. Was able to get the parking space 100 meters from the hotel.
crowded but enough space are always available.
I had gone there two times and had only Pav Bhaji
Pav Bhaji was good
Coffee was good.
Srinidhi ved food court, Kalyan Nagar- a vegetarianโs paradise at really affordable prices is what I can term this place as. From aromatic filter coffee to buttered Pav bhaji to dosas, milkshakes to veg pulav and veg gravies- this place gives you a helluva variety on veg. A nice, big place usually crowded at all times. Self service( donโt expect anyone to come and take your order). Food- I loved every single item that weโd ordered. The Pav bhaji was filled with butter and it had the right amount of spice though the quantity that they served couldโve been more. The paneer curry was delicious and so was the veg biryani and kulchas. Try this place out for some amazing food at affordable price!
Good place for south Indian meals.
Conveniently located.
Affordable.
Prompt service.
Hygenic environment.
Provision for seating.
Best in the area.
I wouldn't recommend the chaats and North Indian dishes here.
Awesome and hygienic food at extremely reasonable price. Definitely worth visiting. We tried Paneer butter masala paneer and roti and it was probably one of the best butter masala paneer I have ever tasted.
Had Gobi Manchurian here.. this place is pretty big n yet it may be hard to get a table.
This is a self service restaurant, u have to order n go get ur dish n then find a table (not necessarily in that order :) )
Gobi Manchurian had a decent taste.
The place is maintained quite clean.
This place tends to get crowded.
I have been this this place for breakfast as well as just for coffee/ tea. Have always found this place to be crowded. The little space in front of the restaurant is just enough for few bikes and few 4 wheelers.ย
My most recent was for breakfast, while i ordered the masala dosa, my friend ordered rava dosa and a vada.
As usual found the taste to be consistent.
Srinidhi Veg food court is a vegetarian restaurant (more like a Darshini taken up a notch) that offers South Indian, North Indian and Indo-Chinese food.
Ambience: There isn't much to talk about the ambience as such. It is decent with spacious seating arrangements that is hygienic and periodically cleaned.
Food:
We ordered the pav bhaji, tomato soup, masala dosa, butter plain dosa and veg pulao. A plus point about this place is that the food is served quickly.
โข Pav bhaji-
To put it in a single sentence, I'd say that it is a South Indian version of the traditional pav bhaji. Having said that, it tasted nice. The pav was smothered in generous amount of butter.
โข Masala dosa-
Although the dosa tasted good and was crispy, I felt that the proportion of semolina was a bit high because the dosa had a very course texture that wasn't very pleasant while eating. The kemp chutney and potato palya were pretty standard. The sambar and chutney was good.
โข Butter plain dosa-
The dosa was topped with a good dollop of butter. The dosa was again rough in texture due to the semolina but it tasted nice with the sambar and chutney.
โข Tomato soup-
The soup was tangy, spicy and had a good consistency. The salt was a little overdone.
โข Vegetable pulao-
The pulao tasted more like an Indo-Chinese fried rice. The spice and flavours were very subtle and it tasted quite bland. It was served with a watery raita.
The food on the whole is decent. This restaurant works on the basis of self service and the pricing is very economical.
Food- 3.5/5
Ambience- 3/5
Value for money- 4/5
If you are looking for a neat And reasonably priced food spot in Kalyan Nagar then this should be in your list .. I tried lunch during weekends and weekdays .. this place will always be full .. they have the food display near the billing counter for us to decide.
I have tried executive meals , South Indian meals here .. both were fine ..
For a change I tried their peas briyani once .. this was pathetic ..no taste , no salt .. absolutely waste of money ...
I think this place is fine , reasonable and neat with some reasonably good menu . but we have to try and experiment dishes here , not all can be good ... As I had said I would never have their briyanis again ...
We realized today evening that, yesterday we were walking on different road looking for authentic south indian cuisine.
Evening stroll with larger group of friends on parallel road on south side of kamanhalli road was interesting one. Though this road (Banaswadi) was not as bright and lively as kamanhalli road, lesser traffic and some bungalows alongside with ample number of trees made it more enjoyable to walk.
There were many food outlets and many more options to explore. We walked till famous temple and were lucky to have darshan during evening puja and sought blessings alongwith prasadam.
Srinidhi food court was noticeable from other side of road due to bright lights and hustle bustle of guests.
It's display showcase worked as teaser and led us to order variety. My order was kharabhat, open dosa and coffee. Friends tried rava idlee, mushroom fry, paneer masala with roti (yes they serve).
Prepaid coupons filled by self service was quick. It was interesting site to see busy kitchen action during wait time. It ensures you have hot, freshly prepared food served. Small chutney and sambar bowls were available to pick up.
Each one of us was appreciative of service and authentic taste of all dishes. This was place I was also looking for. Dinner was full for quantity and icing on it was hot brewing coffee!๐
If you want to enjoy process of south food making and eating too, have coffee at any time of day, just head towards srinidhi. We might try early morning walk to sip Kapi cuppa.
There used to be a veg restaurant "Maha Mahayas" at this place before and Srinidhi Food court replaced it. A good decent restaurant which has all varieties starting with Idly Dosa, North Indian, Sandwiches , Juices shakes, Hot Coffee & Tea They maintain good quality also.
Head there early on a weekend and watch people from various walks of life stroll in for a leisurely dosa and linger with their coffees. On weekdays, you'd see more of a professional crowd making a quick pitstop between traffic signals and the place gets pretty crowded.
My favourite here are Open Dosa, Chole Batura, Roti with curry, Grill Sandwich, Juices and hot filter coffee :)
Uploaded Open Dosa & Roti Curry Pictures :)
It's good place for fun food. Lots of options, reasonable price. Fast service, good tasty food. They can improve on juices as I have replaced the juice every single time because it was sour ...
Very good food ...Had north Indian meal..Taste awesome...Best in the area.It is at prime location.ambience is very good.Neat open kitchen. please try set dosa, tea and badam milk.
Clean place, fast service; no nonsense, standard Bangalore darshini experience. Not many such places exist in this part of the town. Kaapi is good too.
Looking for inexpensive, decent food around kalyan nagar? Give this place a try. It won't disappoint you to say the least. This is perhaps the better outlets of srinidhi owing to its ambience and ample of seating area. Have tried a lot of things on the menu, ranging from dosas to noodles and south meals to north meals and the food has remained consistent.
The faluda is pretty good and the filter coffee is nice.
Its very easy on the pocket and has a decent taste. Try it once and you may like this place. I've enjoyed the food here more than once.
At 7:30am in one misty morning, when I felt like eating something hot and spicy... My mind struck at this place... Since I'm a great fan of Bisi bele bath..
I went ahead and placed an order for vaangi bath... Which was served with some vegetable saagu and chutney...
Which was smokey hot and loved the taste of the rice that was cooked with a lot of blended spices and fried with the bangalore bringal that is very popular.... Really liked it.... Keep it up...
The rice was worth the price.... :)
Service is pretty fast. Food is not great great though. Weekend mornings are crowded and since the area is not big, getting a seat is difficult. Coffee is good. The place is hygienic and a good option for breakfast.
Amazing Food ... had ordered Cheese Bhel , Masala Dosa ,Rava Masala Onion Dosa,Panipuri, Dahi Puri,Pav-Bhaji,Veg.Fried Rice, ButterKulcha,Mix Veg. kadai , Butter Roti, Roti-Curry...All The Foods Is superb in taste, Quantity & Quality also... must visit... i love this place... It is veg restro....Amazing Services also...
This is a new outlet of Srinidhi that serves South Indian, Chinese(noodles and fried rice) cuisine and chaats.
A few things about this new restaurant:
1. It has ample seating area. It's a huge place that accomodates a good number of people at any point of time. At times you might not get a table, if you go during the lunch hours, 12-1pm.
2. I have been here 3 times now and tried their, masala dosa, idli vada, Gobi Manchurian, executive meals, south Indian meals, parota curry and just had a bite of pav bhaji.
3. It's affordable. Average prices. Not too heavy on your pocket. Executive meals is just 75 Rs and sure to fill your stomach.
4. They serve your food in less than a jiffy. Swift assembly of items on plates for the meals. The parota curry might take a minute or two more since the parotas are made only after placing the order.
5. Totally recommending this place, for the quality food, cheap prices and spacious ambiance. This place is an instant solution whenever you want to have a quick lunch but you're low on budget.
Tried their butter masala dosa, it was delicious and sambar war also good. Noodles and biryani was fine. Best part is its worth the money you spend with decent ambiance. Suits for families as well. Coffee was typical Bengaluru filter coffee.
Well, there is a thing with places, if the place serves south Indian food, then it always manages to attract a lot of crowd. All kinds of people come here to enjoy the meal, so did we :) And the same happens with this place though this one is recently opened. The place is huge and seating space is sufficient for a decent amount of people.ย Lightings are good and the aroma is like any other south indian restaurant.
The menu contains all the varieties of dosas, different kinds of chaats, north Indian food, south indian food, meals etc. Coming to the food, their food is good as well:
The chole was really yummy..:) A big sized chola will be served in Chole Bhature.
The paratha meal and roti meal will have the same curry. Rotis are not that good. Paratha is mainly Kerela styled lachha paratha.
Rava Onion Masala dosa was best of the lot. The crust of the dosa was crispy and it was cooked to the perfection.
ย Sambhar vada, we can have vada either dipped in sambhar or served separately. The sambhar was really tasty.
Papdi chaat and Dahi papdi chaat were the average kind of chaat. Dahi papdi chaat better in comparison to papdi chaat.
Samosas are okay.
A good place to have a meal once in a while. Prices are reasonable. Recommended :)
This is a new outlet on 7th main road, right next to HDFC bank. This is a perfect place to eat anything anytime for the people living in the neighbourhood.
I have been here a couple of times, especially for tea which is really good. Their dahi papdi chat and onion rava masala dosa is also very good. The roti and parota curry are okay okay. The curry given with this combo is not good. Chola served with chola bhatura is also very good, but they give only 1 medium sized bhatura for 80 bucks. Just felt that prices are a little high.. otherwise the food is good and so is the service. They also have ample seating space. Recommended :)
Edit 1: Recently I tried their pav bhaaji. The bhaaji was quite good with butter and served with finely chopped onion and dhaniya.
The pav (bread) on the other hand was very hard and not fresh. So it didn't taste well. And just felt that it is a little overpriced at Rs 60 for 1 plate.
Heavenly place for breakfast, neat and tidy restaurant/fast food. The quality and service super good. They are quite fast in serving. The taste is authentic. Great experience. They have many branches all over Bangalore and more or less you will have similar experiences.
This is the best place for quick bites. Food is tasty and prices are economical. There is no table service, but self service. One can choose from multiple options such as South Indian, North Indian, Chinese, Sandwiches, Thali, Dosas available all through the day. Finding a vacant seat during busy hours can be difficult. I feel the food preparations are also relatively less oily compared to similar places. This is my go to place now.
Start your day the South Indian way with the delectable idlis, vadas, and dosas. At @sri_nidhi_veg_food which had Simple ambience, unbeatable taste, and wallet-friendly prices!
Indulge in the heavenly goodness of South Indian cuisine at their cozy eatery. From fluffy idlis to crispy dosas, their menu will leave you wanting more.
This place is my post gym hangout. You get good fruit juices, sandwiches and other north, south Indian cuisine ๐ this place doesn't have enough parking, but still it's heavily crowded and hard to find a table in the evening. There is no service hall, it's self service. However food tastes really good ๐ the prices are affordable too ๐ Do visit ๐
A go-to spot for breakfast lovers โ quick, tasty, and always hits the spot! The self-service vibe keeps things breezy, and their Vada Sambar and Plain Dosa... Are Vaa!!
Legit heavenly bites.๐
Had cheese corn and mini meals, Quality and quantity was good. Too good to visit. Very well maintained
The ghee dosa was just yummy. My search for dosa ended here. The potato bhajii stuffed was just good. The chutney and sambar was very tasty too. But the dosa is too big for one to finish.
Food is good but little expensive. Ghee masala dosa and Open Dosa are recommended. Filter coffee is good.
Ambience is also decent .
What can you get for 50/- meal ? A fully loaded Rice, Sambar, Rasam, Butter milk, Chutney, Sandie, majjige menasinakai. A quality food ๐
Update (Nov'2023):
Went for breakfast post walking.
๐ฝ Thatee Idli:
It was so bad ๐ and didn't go well with chutney and watery veg. sagoo. It is also charged 40/-
๐ฝ Regular Idli :
It was decent ๐in preparation and taste.
๐ฝ Poori :
Was bigger in size and was well prepared ๐ Served with chutney and Veg. Sagoo
Veg Sagoo was watery and could have been better
๐ฝ Chow Chow bath:
Both Upma and Kesari bath were tasty ๐
Place is hygienic and not heavily crowded.
Update (Dec'2023)
Mushroom Chilli : Mushroom coated just enough. Light sauces, no fillers like capsicum, garlic. At the end except for chillies nothing left over in plate unlike elsewhere ๐
Paneer Manchurian : Good quality Panner coated just right and very tasty ๐
We had Dosa and Akki roti, the taste was good and best part is we can order from screen without the need of waiting near cashier.. The cost for two people was 140 rupees. We had paneer Tikka and costed around 180 rupees which was fresh. Only aspect at the entry of restaurant foul smell appears which makes one feel not to have food however taste is ๐
Update!!
After having the constant taste checks from different places found that they use taste enhancer Ajunomotto for all Chinese, gravy items. This is our latest visit and the cashier mentioned to ask the guy to not add taste enhancer.
