A hidden gem indeed. Typical Punjabi delicacies. Totally loved the food here.
Hard to find the place. Tucked in a small corner of the road, this place has really good food to offer.
Ambience - Clean and well maintained. It isn't that big. But its clean and hygienic.
Food - I am in love with their food. I'm unable to find an adjective to describe the food here.
Starting with their lassi which is huge, the taste is so refreshing and delicious. The glass is so big that it will take ages to finish it. But it's worth it.
Next arrived my favorite, aloo paratha which is a MUST TRY here. Served with thick curd, this will never seize to pleasure your taste buds. It's piping hot and freshly made. The flavors are so well balanced. It was a hearty meal.
Dal makhani was another favorite. Creamy and delicious. The portion served was justified.
Paneer burji was good too. Fresh paneer in perfect flavors.
Loved every bite of it.
Service - Pretty quick service. They were courteous but you had to call them till they notice you and acknowledge you.
Ambience - 7/10
Food - 10/10
Service - 8/10
5 stars just for the food. Will visit them again and again as this is on my favorite list now!
1.Paratha- panner and aloo and methi paratha with makkan
2.Pulka s
3. baingan bartha and yellow dal
Curd and butter milk
5.dal with rice
Bobby s dhaba was started by Bobby s mom in gurdwara near Ulsoor
Later was shifted to ajanta theatre behind commercial Street
Now they operating behind nagasandra metro station
This was my 1st visit near nagasandra and they still have maitained that taste and quality
One of the best places to try punjabi veg food
Had been here based on the youtube video by foodlovers tv.Awesome food, must try.we had aloo paratha, paneer paratha, dal makhani and lassi. All the items were worth the price.
Thee best dal makhni and parathas ever tasted and would recommend for hardcore food lovers
One of the best and affordable Punjabi food I have tasted till date. Will recommend highly for any one who wants to have great punjabi food!!!!!
An absolute no frills place, right behind Nagasandra Metro Station, it serves yummy Punjabi food. Butter soaked parathas, sabzis and dal that make you feel like you are eating it somewhere in Punjab, lassis that not only fill your stomach but also soul and Gulab Jamon so yum yum and straight from the stove.
Be prepared to wait for a while because it's a tiny place, but they do take the order in advance so that you can get your food as soon as you get your table. Also such amazing service and super affordable prices!!
A decent Punjabi Hotel near Nagasandra Metro Station in Bangalore, Bobby's Dhaba offers an authentic Vegeretian Punjabi food. Yes. I was surprised too when I heard Vegetarian Punjabi. Honestly, I have heard it for the first time. All of my Punjabi friends are hardcore meat-eaters. In spite of the unexpected menu, I found a decent variety of vegetarian dishes. And believe me, when I say, it was damn delicious. We ordered Butter Naan and Paneer Butter Masala along with a glass of Lassi. Butter Rotis were soft and flavorful. I could feel the aroma of the Tandoor. The Paneer Butter Masala was masaladaar and soft. The lassi was served in a large glass, just the desi style and taste took me to my travels in Punjab. Overall it was a delightful experience. The only drawback I felt was that they don't accept credit or debit cards OR even Gool Pay ( and similar payment modes). You have to pay them cash only. Apart from this drawback, it was a delightful experience and one should definitely visit this restaurant.
This place is walking distance from the metro station, on weekends you will find waiting here. But they take the order in advance while you wait for table so that as soon as the table is ready you don't have to wait. Must try their lassi and dal makhani along with butter chapati. The ambiance is not like proper dhaba it has normal table chair sitting
Heard a lot about it and today tried food here. Place is neat , quite far from Banglore. But delicious punjabi food we tried almond everything. Papad, all paranthas, lassi, sabji and buttermilk. Staff is friendly. Must try their paneer bhurji.
If you are looking for a good n authentic Punjabi food in and around North Bengaluru then this place should be in your list.
Located just near the nagasandra metro station , the last station in the green lane, just a 1 minute walk from there approximately.
They have a very limited seatings and this place will be always crowded. I love their lassi 😍 OMG they serve it in a tall Brass embossed glass which is a traditional way of Punjabis.
Their pulkha and dal makhni is just a match made in heaven.
A good place to satisfy your Punjabi food cravings
This place serves hearty punjabi food - their lassi, chana masala, daal and parathas are pretty good. The place is pretty small but service is quick and prices are super affordable.
The dhaba is an awesome place, the food is not too spicy and seems like home cooked food. They serve the food straight from the cooking vessel to the plate and it's very fresh.I suggest everyone to visit this place. The owner is a nice person.I would give a 100% to this place because service is their motto and not making profit...
Absolutely love the quantity of Lassi they serve! Totally worth the money. The service is super quick and the quantity too is satisfying. Wouldn't really comment on the taste cuz its Okay. It isn't "great food" but it definitely is decent and tummy filling. Value for money.
The food is amazing over here. You get the authentic Punjabi taste. Do try the parathas. Lassi and Chaas are outstanding.
Visit this for the amazing food they serve.
Limited menu. Budget friendly. Staff is less. Ambiance is not great.
Located near nagasandra metro station @T.dasarhalli, happen to visit this place on an saturday afternoon. The place might give you second thoughts but the food wont. The owner Mr Bobby is a hot head but a sweet guy, running around tables and taking orders. The menu is quite decent but without the price of the item. Ordered panner parota, dhal makhni, rajma chawal and lassi, every thing was made right and served right. The quantity of lassi is humongous for sure and tastes lit. U may have to wait for your but its worth the while.

Loved this. Authentic Punjabi food and it doesn't disappoint you one bit. Great Lassi, great parathas, great dal Makhni, trust me, if you love Punjabi food, you're at the right place!
True to it's name, it's a dhaba style decor place which serves limited menu, low investment interiors but lip smacking food. Tried their dal makhani, paneer and phulkas which come with generous application of butter. All were very well made. Buttermilk and sweet lassi are served in tall glasses and are the best you get in Bangalore. I wonder how i didn't visit this place earlier. The owner of the place brings his own special energy and charisma :)
Visited this place about a week ago as it is very near from my place. We ordered parathas, rajma chawal, jeera rice and lassi. Lassi was served in huge big copper glasses, the taste was delicious with lots of makkan popped inn. The parathas were served pan hot with melting butter at the top with thick curd. Rajma chawal was authentic with lots of fresh spices cooked in. It started getting rush and many of the customers were in waiting.
The price was pocket friendly. Will definelty visit again.
A Sikh gentleman runs a rustic dhaba on Tumkur road. And has all the Punjabi flamboyance..!!
Paranthas full makkan maar ke.. Lassi Patiala shahi peetal glass mein...!!
A place not to miss when in Bengaluru...!!
You will love the hospitality of the owner....
A Crazy Place where the Owner's yelling at the top of his voice to customers and staff alike, Bobby's still does amazingly well to cater to those who crave authentic Punjabi vegetarian food. The Dal Makhini and the Rajma Chawal are to die for albeit the stuffed Paratha's could be a tad better. There is no takeaway service so don't even contemplate asking the owner else you'll get a tongue lashing. Since he's got a mere 6 to 7 tables waiting time could range from 45 mins to an hour so be prepared to look longingly at others eating as you wait outside wondering when you'll be alloted a table. But it's still worth the wait...
A Pocket friendly place with a very good taste.
Minimal menu list to choose from.
Authentic punjabi parathas
Must Try - Lassi

Well this famous Punjabi food joint is all set to dazzle you with their simplistic charm , pocket friendly food and buttery warmth ..
Well too buttery ..
We love it.
We had daal makhni , mixed paratha , alu paratha , paneer paratha, butter phulka and palak paneer , lassi and gulab jamun .
Each and every item was good . Daal makhni was not upto the mark I would say and I somehow feel it is slightly different than usual daal makhni ..
Parathas are the speciality . They are too good and delicious .
Palak paneer was good.. not great though..
Lassi .. omg .. it was huge .. very difficult to finish it in one meal ..makhhan marke..(with a malai ) ..
Gulab jamuns are hot and tasty ..
Overall
Overall 4 people. 740.. ( 2 plate gulab jamun , 4 paratha, 6 phulka, 4 lassi , 1 daal makhni , 1 palak paneer)
Price of individual items are not known to us. Since only In the counter you will get to know about the price of the item. .
In short . Worth a try ..
This is a small authentic punjabi dhaba near nagasandra metro station. The food here smells and tastes like proper dhaba style and i am so glad that i found this olace in b'lore. I just loved their parathas, rajma and lassi. Shahi paneer is decent. Chole were not upto the mark.
The sardar ji who runs this place is Extremely loud, but does enough to serve you well.
Also, the maps location on Zomato is wrong.
So one of collegue suggested this dhaba as we are tied up to eat vegetarian.. And suprisingly found this authentic dhaba serving lassi in big copper glasses! Had Amazing Aloo and Panneer paratha with finger licking good Rajma and Palak Paneer! Mind you though its light on your pockets, Its heavy on calories.. (Makhan maar ke) 😊😆
Absolute no fancy decor simple ambience but you will fall in love with the food. The fresh , hot n kadak stuffed parathas served with a dollop of butter on top will surely make you content. Also try the lassi which I will love. They also have some side dishes like yellow dal, dal palak needs a mention. And above all the simple and smiling owner serving you. This is little of way NR nagasandra metro station but worth your time spent.
there is something special about this place , it might not have a great ambience but the food tastes so good that you forget the rest . Must try the lassi , butter milk , shahi paneer 😉
Being in Bangalore when u crave for veg Punjabi rasoi this is a must visit place the food taste is just wow I can say 5 for the food here the 4 is because of lack of heigene and if you are really hungry weekends are the days to avoid as you may have to wait for a minimum period of one hour but an excellent place for punjabi food lovers
Must go for homely punjabi food. Pocket friendly. Lassi is must to have. It is walkable distance from nagasandra metro station. Small and Nice place.
Good food to start with... Not a good place to dine as too stuffy.. No price in the menu. Awsome lassi and paratha. Restarunt gets very Smokey as the smoke from paratha frying will stay inside the restarunt.
A best place for North people where a get a good like freshly cooked at home I love this place and suggest All if you to go there taste the real food of Punjab I love it seriously
This is same ulsoor bobby dhaba shifted to Nagasandra. Food is very tasty. But space is small and shortage of staff. I have tried gobi paratha , Alu palak and dal chawl.
Limited Menu, but good taste...luv the food. Friendly service.Kindly keep high chair for kids. Can increase sweet items ,curd rice and masala lassi.
If you are craving for authentic Punjabi cuisine in South India. This is your spot for reasonable price. Make sure you visit on time to avoid queues
This is one of the best Punjabi Dhaba i’ve been in for a while. It’s vegetarian and food is made just to order. So its hot n fresh. it might take a while for service but it’s worth the wait.
the furniture is all basic but kept clean n tidy. one man show, but well organized n worth coming again.
The highlight is the lassi in a large copper tumbler. All the recipes were authentic n delicious.
Too much crowded,
need to reserve and wait for an hour and more for.our turn to be called
Need to inform all the menu required before making initial reservation
Hu ger goes off in this meantime
Atmosphere is ok ok.
Plain Paratha is super good
Suggestions : Palak paneer, paneer burji and lassi
If you’re craving for typical north indian food and dhaba feels, then Bobby Da Dhaba is the place you should visit without any second thought. The guy is from Patiala and manages the crowd very efficiently. On Sunday night, average waiting time is 1 hour but the food is worth it. Go have a sumptuous north india dhaba food here.
Few weeks back visited this place on a Saturday night while entering in Bengaluru. There closing time is 10:30pm, but I called to the restaurant number if they will take orders at 10:20pm. He politely said: koi gal nahi, tussi aao 😊. It was close to fully packed at that time of night. Serves only pure vegetarian food with lots of butter 😉.
We have ordered one paneer curry, chapattis. Curry was different than normal paneer curry, kind of tomato onion gravy/chutney but with less oil and masala. I loved it. Service was good. Not an expensive restaurant.
I checked few reviews before visiting this place, few people have mentioned about the rude behaviour of owner and slow service by staff, so what I noticed is, one of the waiter is little different than others, he was doing his job with a smile, but yes little late, but I don't think anyone should have problem with his service. One should feel happy that person is employed and happy.
Owner is not rude- that's how Punjabi people talk, and in that environment where restaurant was fully packed, owner has to shout, it is dhaba so that can be expected.
Yes, there is the waiting time.
Good Punjabi veg food.
Once you are dined in, u will definitely try lot of things.
Amazing Veg Place. Must Visit, mouth watering hot and very tasty food. Very courteous friendly staff. Small place behind Nagasandra Metro station. (5 minutes walk)
They are the same people who had this Dhaba place next to Gurdwara in Ulsoor.
The food is tasty. However you will have long waiting so its good to plan and go. The place can definitely use sime extra hands to reduce wait time. Being a punjabi dhaba i missed makke ki roti else everything is yumm. Lassi is just soooo good.
The menu doesnt have prices which is a little sad so you don't know how much you ll be paying.
We had ordered 2 small lassi, 1 chaas, 4 ghre roti, 1 plate aloo paratha which has 2 parathas, 2 plain paratha, jeera rice, sardo ka saag, kadai paneer and 1/2 dal fry. All of this was for around 1100
Worth visiting this place for authentic punjabi dishes.. got to taste the diffenet variety of Paratha's like paneer paratha, aloo paratha , Rajma rice , Shahi paneer and trust me the that I tasted was amazing.
Would definitely recommend to visit this place.
Not to miss the full jar Lassi ..
SOWMYA MOHAN.
Too slow service but worth waiting..
Located just 200 meters from Nagasandra metro station. Food is very tasteful with apt pricing...one need to wait for 30 min avg for getting their seating...parking is little challenge
