I ordered Pizza Tuscany and Spicy BBQ Chicken Pizza.
What I liked most about these pizzas is, there was not even one bit that was wasted. Even though this pizza was hand stretched, it was even, evenly cooked, fresh and crisp. Not doughy, not fat and not raw. Also, it tasted delicious even when it went cold. Most pizzas looks like the carcass of the erstwhile pizza, but these pizzas were surprisingly the exception to that.
Needless to say, it was the most delicious comfort food which made me extremely happy. I felt as if every penny I spent on this food was worth. They offered quality and quantity, which is the most rare thing nowadays.

I love Italian food and one place I always find myself when I crave Italian is Vera Italiano. Great ambience:so perfect to set the mood for good food and a sound conversation. Well mannered team; always welcomes you with a smile.
3-4 visits to the restaurant and I'm already a follower. Reasonably priced. I always try their #cream of mushroom as my starter soup. The creaminess with the blend of cheese just make my taste buds happy. The other try for the main course so far my best was #parmesan roasted cauliflower sphagetti pasta, indeed exquisite. I would try it again, sometime. The other Chef's recommendations in vegetarian section are good too specifically I liked #creamy veg Alfredo sauce sphagetti pasta and #Farm house Pizza. I have hardly tried beverages so really don't know what to expect but will definitely try next time.l would recommend this place for sure.

I may have found the best thing crust pizzas in Kalyan Nagar. We tried the Pizza Tuscany here and it was delicious. The pizza topping was really good. The pizza was loaded with cheese and vegetable toppings and very barely got a taste of the crust. I was glad that this was a nice change from the normal crust Domino's pizza (I like Domino's too).
The staff is very courteous.
Definitely going here again to try the other vegetarian pizzas on the menu.
We were here on New Year's eve. Even though they are located just across from Cafe Pink Pajamas, it's like they are a world apart. If you ever land up on this street in Kalyan Nagar, do yourself a favour and walk in here and try their sexy mushroom soup. The food would make you want more too.

Both were delicious and authentic Italian.

We started with the Appetizers - Baked Garlic Bread and Chilli Lime Chicken Wings(Day's special), Pulled Lamb Poutine. The chicken wings were deep fried and then tossed in chilli lime sauce - dish was good. Pulled Lamb Poutine - the lamb ragu was very delicious.
For the main course we ordered Lamb Meatball Spaghetti and Spicy BBQ Chicken Pizza. Both the dishes were yummy.
Definitely we would love to visit this place again and try others dishes.

Based on numerous deliveries I've had and one dine-in experience I find the pizza and poutine to be quite delicious. The crispy thin crust base combined with the mozzarella and quality ingredients makes a great pizza and I love the loaded poutines they serve. The panna cotta and tiramisu are definitely worth a try.

This restaurant comes from the same family as China Pearl (one of the or the best Chinese joint in Bangalore). Perhaps this came earlier.
Obviously when you compare against the Chianti and Toscano this will fall short but again when you talk about the denominator (wrt value) this is good as it is not at all pricey.
I don't think there was any item that we didn't like however one dish that stood out was Four Cheese pizza with Chicken...I would say this can come definitely close to Chianti , if not give it a run for its money.

I would recommend this place to an Italian food lover. Minestrone soup is a must in this place. Ambience is very warm and comfortable with light music at the background. Staff is very polite. They have some really nice thin crust pizzas. Although I feel pasta and spaghetti are average. Their menu is limited leaving to choose from fewer options. But it can surely be a place to visit with friends, family or on a date night.

Vera Italiano is put up on the first floor of a building in the bustling street of Kalyan Nagar. On the occasion of Diwali, we chose a place next to the window to see fireworks while having dinner.
We were there at around 7:30. Service was very quick.
First of our orders, Bruchetta looked sassy on the plate with random drizzles of balsamic sauce. Dressed salad in the center and bruchetta itself on the corners. Bruchetta was well assembled, a bit tangy due to good amount of diced tomatoes. Tomatoes were accompanied with olives, jalapenos and feta.
Pizza Tuscany was a thin based pizza with right amount of mozzarella and randomly placed
sundried tomatoes, corn, shreds of spinach and pinches of goat cheese.
Summer seduction, virgin mojito and cranberry coolberg quenched our thirst and did their job well.
Mushroom Parmesan lasagna as expected was rich with cheese, it came with a slice of toasted bread, handful of dressed salad. Lasagna itself was well placement of sheets, mushrooms and cheese. and had a very good taste.
Strawberry cheesecake was a great end to our good dinner. It had a sandy base, beautiful creamy cheesecake with strawberry sauce on top and by our choice, came with a simple scoop of vanilla ice cream.
I will definitely visit this place again if I crave for an Italian meal. All of this came up to around 1250.

I was passing by kammanhalli , Raat Ka khana khako ni tha when I turned right I saw Vera Italiano rats were running in my stomach so I thought I will try Pizza , ordered sea food, pasta and pizza , I was slightly disappointed with the pasta but sea food was good, mango and passion juice bi chindya tha and pizza toh bhaut zalim tha if u r heart broken and feeling depressed have a bite of Vera Italiano pizza ur depression will run away for a while don't forget to add on extra cheese and pineapples. Heard a lot about this restaurant so decided to give it a shot and I am glad I did. I ordered the Roasted chicken and spicy bbq pizza without the pineapple large 11 inch base. I was so happy when it arrived as it looked delicious and even more happier when I tasted them as they were delicious. The roasted chicken is with a white sauce and a lil bland so if you like spice this isn’t your cup of tea. The spicy bbq is a mix of spicy and sweet , the perfect balance. The crust is nice and thin just the right thickness. Ample amount of toppings on both the pizza and a good amount of cheese. Overall a great experience.

My search for great Italian food in Kammanhalli ends here. What China pearl does to Chinese food, Verra Italiano does to Italian, coming form the same family they have their A-Game with quality and quantity. The only regret with respect to this place is, why didn't I visit them much earlier.
Chicken Lasagna was to die for, BBQ chill pizza was one of the best pizzas I have ever tasted in town.
One of the best Italian food I had after being in Bangalore. Pasta with red sauce was authetic and worth trying..Ambience was 10/10..You can spend good time with your partner as its very peaceful
This is the third time my husband and I have eaten here... and every time has been delightful. The food quality is great and the pricing is surprising low as well. The pizzas with parmesan cheese is delectable. The soups and starters are good too. This was the first time we had dessert here and guess what? I've found my favorite strawberry cheesecake! Very fresh and tasty. Definitely one of our favourite places to dine.

I have never been to the restaurant! Not once have i stepped in or seen the menu! As a matter of fact I haven't seen the menu on zomato!
But all I have seen is the glorious 'Chicken Lasagna'

The layers of each is just deliberately made with beauty and the chesse is oh i must say is put with so much of love and affection and in abundance unlike the other restaurants where they try to save up on chesee! It's a lasagna for gods sake, chesse is the heart that beats.
But although the salad on the side is a excuse for one! I'm sure you'll(the vero italiano Management) can do it better!
But nevertheless, hands down the best chicken lasagna I have had since Ive moved to bangalore and that is 6 long years.
Please I suggest that whoever reads this must, must truly whole heartedly try the Chicken Lasagna from vero italiano!

Great-tasting food for the discerning Italian foodie & with a nice ambience to boot. We are vegetarian. They also have a kids menu; the pastas cone in kids servings and are priced proportionately less. We ordered a kids white sauce spaghetti which our son loved. In addition, a house salad, which was fresh and delicious with the right amount of dressing. And a small Tuscany pizza, which was generously topped and the crust was perfect. Overall, a wonderful meal and the place was surprisingly not crowded on a Saturday night. But this may change.

Great Pizza. I tried the farmhouse pizza and I must say it tastes very similar to the ones in Italy. Though this place is not so crowded, here is where u can check out how a real pizza tastes. Thin well baked crust with a good mix of cheese and veggie toppings give a mild and balanced taste. The price is affordable too and I would like to try out the other dishes here very soon.!

Decided to try their Chicken Lasagna today and it was quite tasty. A bit on the dry side but full of flavor. Normally I am not a salad person but the accompanying salad with the dish was very good and landed up polishing it.
The packaging was neat and Swiggy delivery was super fast. Will try their other dishes.

The ambience is decent with amazing selection of music. Food is definitely top notch with bruchetta, salad and the 🍄 lasagne a must recommend. Pizza is fresh but not crisp thin crust. Strawberry cheesecake is brilliant as well.

It's a calm and decent Italian restaurant. Had pasta and tiramisu there. Both were delicious. This place was my stop for evening snacks. I liked the place as it was quite and no loudness to stop you from discussing things. Staff was polite and attentive. Service was fast. Just go with family and friends. Visited twice in a month. Enjoyed both times very much. Be it pasta, pizza or lasagna, it's fresh and yum, however, I'd have liked more sauce in the carbonara. Like the way we can order our own toppings coz I prefer a smattering of olives on most Italian food. More than the main course, we enjoyed their apple pie topped with ice cream. That one's a real winner! And the ambience is lovely. Only, I'd really like it if the waiters don't go staring at you when you are having your meal. In all, really like this place. Stumbled upon this place while in the area and boy, was so glad.. We pretty much walked into a cozy restaurant with really friendly staff, very simple and neat interiors and finally to the star of the night "THE FOOD"
CHICKEN paramagiana - very well seasoned chicken breast which was breaded and topped with tomato sauce and cheese served with a side of pasta and salad
Shrimp Italian pizza - I don't remember having pizza with a garlic cream as base but this was the best pizza I've had, the salty capers and olive with goat cheese and buttered leeks were a perfect combination with fresh shrimp, THANKYOU CHEF FOR THE CREATIVITY.
and we finished the meal with a light and creamy strawberry cheesecake, and their tiramisu which had the perfect balance of sweet cream and bitter coffee

We stopped by thinking to enjoy some cheese to ease our weekend cravings. The food was good, but the staff needs to be trained about the menu they have and also a little sense of attending the customers.

Happened to visit Vera Italiano for lunch yesterday with a friend and was throughly impressed with the restaurant. I had just flown in the same morning from Vancouver and was jet lagged and hungry, my main concern was my food options in Bangalore as I am allergic to gluten.
We went to Vera Italiano and I walked in with the mindset of having a light snack or salad to stay safe with my diet restrictions. But that changed after I had a chat with Jeffrey, who runs the place and is also the chief chef. I was served an amazing bespoke grilled chicken with salad that was completely gluten free and off the menu! The food was delicious and just right to taste.
The fact that I could have a conversation with Jeffrey who completely understood my situation and catered to my needs made me gain a lot of respect towards the restaurant and staff. When something as simple as a grilled chicken salad could taste this delicious I can only imagine what the rest of the menu would be.
The ambiance was great and this is definitely a hidden gem. With so many restaurants with a mind set of "this is what we have, take it or leave it" it is a welcome change to dine at a place that cares about the customer and the quality of food.

The hunt for Italian food led me to Vera Italiano. I went there on a weekday during lunch time with my friend. The service staff are really well trained and they made sure that everything was comfortable for us. They were really friendly, courteous and polite.
Ambience:
The ambience is quite basic, seating is spacious, the tables and chairs are quite conventional. The central area of seating has sofas. It is quite well lit, the glass windows made sure enough sunlight reached throughout the restaurant. A few pictures, brick wall on one end, doodles of Italian ingredients adorned the otherwise simple restaurant.
Food:
We ordered the garlic parm potato wedges, creamy veg Alfredo and farmhouse pizza.
Garlic parm potato wedges:
The potato was fried to perfection, crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. The garlic flavour raided my palate and the nuttiness of the parmesan complimented it well. It was a little under seasoned but along with the dip, it tasted splendid.
Creamy veg Alfredo:
We opted for penne which was lightly tossed in a creamy Alfredo sauce with minimalistic toppings like broccoli, spinach, sweet corn and bell peppers. The pasta was al dente and thankfully not submerged in sauce. Italian Pasta is supposed to be only lightly coated in sauce and Vera Italiano got that right. The only drawback in the otherwise tasty dish was that the salt wasn’t sufficient. The garlic bread was lovely too.
Farmhouse pizza-
The base was well baked, the toppings and cheese was generous. The veggies still had a nice crunch to them which made it enjoyable for me.
Overall lovely homestyle Italian food at very affordable prices.

The food here is delicious. We had ordered Roasted Veg Poutine, Pesto pasta and Parmesan Roasted Cauliflower pasta. The pesto pasta was very creamy and one of the best that I have had. The pasta portions are very big and can feed two people. Also this place is very economical!
The service was fast and the waiters were very friendly and helpful.
My only complaint would be about the ambience. I wish they would work a little on it.
Good option for Italian cuisine. They had a decent menu for vegetarians too.
Pizzas were flavorful, soft and with all the right ingredients. Portions were good too.
Starters and pasta were good with right amount of herbs and spices.
Overall a good experience and thankfully not crowded on a weekend 🙂
Great food and service, at a great price, as always. Love the pastas, though the toppings on the pizza seem to have reduced a bit compared to previous months.
The quality of the ingredients is always great. Went with kids and the staff were kind enough to make them comfortable with cushions and baby chairs without us even asking.

Now this is the perfect restaurant to bring in your family for a lovely meal, their appetizers are lip smacking! (Especially the garlic parmesan potato wedges), the entree's are delicious with generous portion sizes and their beverages are ever so refreshing!
The staff has always been attentive and courteous (I've been there a couple of times now).
All in all, one leaves with a sense of satisfaction after indulging your taste buds in some good old Italian cuisine!
Loved the Chicken Lasagna and Chicken Pesto Salad. Service was really quick, staff were well trained and a very good ambience overall. Was also able to order Chinese because the Chinese restaurant and this one are tied.
Amazing place for foodies who love Italian food. We tried Only Veg and must say we have fallen in love with the place. Great food, good ambience, good pricing and well spoken staff adds to your experience. Pizzas, along with spaghetti was very well made. We tried 'Fried Zucchini and Aubergine' and what a dish !!!!. Must try.
This place would be a good choice for people looking for some good old Italian food in Kalyan Nagar.
Had ordered the chicken pesto pasta & pulled lamb poutine.
The pasta was really good & had that nice pesto flavour to it.
Coming to the lamb poutine it's more than just a starter. It's a combination of fries topped with cheese & lamb ragu. A must try for people who are fond on lamb.
And yes the pizzas are worth a try as I had ordered through swiggy.

The service was very good. The staff were humble and quick to respond. The food was good too, we had bruschetta, seafood marinara, hazelnut chocolate cake and their drinks. The taste was good, quantity was sufficient and the variety of items they have is pretty good for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. The pricing was affordable and much cheaper than a lot of Italian restaurants on the Indiranagar side.
Overall, we had a nice impromptu date night here and it was a good experience 😊
This is a great go-to Italian cuisine place when you have a craving for a good pasta and garlic bread. Most dishes are great especially the meatball Al forno. Had a great experience here and will go often. It's worth the price and is definitely not as expensive as some of the other premium Italian restaurants.
