Start your heavy meal with Bbq chicken starter and pepper chicken . Ofc Mandi is a must.
The chicken mandi they serve is really delicious, but can only be sufficient for 1 person. They serve tomato chutney with mandi which tastes really good. Would recommend this place if you are a foodie
Just loved thier mandi.ordered both chicken and mutton mandi both were very flavorful and pieces were tender.very hard to find this place but you'll enjoy your time there
Impressed..I experienced a top class restaurant style chicken fried rice for my dinner today. The veggies are perfectly cooked and the cooking style of chicken is so unique. I feel the perfect healthy delight within my budget.i got the meal for RS. 89 which I picked it from zomato easy with a discount of 50% flat. Thanks to the restaurant and team zomato.
If you love mutton, then it is the best restaurant at Bangalore.
We tried two dishes here. Mutton Al-Fahm and Laham Mandi.
Lets talk about the Al-Fahm at first. Its a kind of Tandoori Mutton Roast.
First of all, its rarely available anywhere. The juicy tender chunk of mutton would just melt in your mouth. The price is a bit higher (Rs. 270/- per piece) but the taste and experience are worth it.
Now lets come to the best part of our experience. Laham-mandi..
Laham Mandi means Mutton cooked in rice. So you can compare it with Biryani. Sometime its also called Arabian Biryani. But dont even expect a bit flavour of Indian style of Biryani.
It will be served with a boul of Mutton stalk (surua), a big piece of mutton (laham) (even enough for two persons), rice (Mandi), and a small portion of tomato pulp.
It feels heavenly. I dont even want to ruin your awe with my words. Just experience it.
I can guarantee that you would love it.

Must visit if you love mutton. The mutton broth is super amazing. Just make sure you go there empty stomach as the portion is quite generous.
For all gluttons out there who take there meats and meals a little too seriously, this is the place to be.Laham Mandi (Arabic Meat and Rice) is one such insanely awesome dish that you should look out for here. The rice mildly flavoured while the mutton is tender and aptly spiced. They also serve you a mutton stew at the beginning of the course complimentary which is equally delicious. I have not had a dish like this in a long long time. This small and quaint restaurant is a hidden gem in of the many bylanes of Queen's Road. We ended this feast with a typical Mediterranean dessert BasBousa, which is a sweet semolina cake (balanced sweetness). Already planning my next visit
It is one of the best place for clean tastiest food in town for family. Have been eating here for years. Good owners, nice staff and clean kitchen and service.
Located at the basement of a building in a small lane of Cunningham road, this place is a treasure. It serves typical Muslim dishes, authentic to Bangalore and I loved every bit of it. A little pricey, but I think it was worth the quality of food.
Their mutton was the softest I had come across in a restaurant which was so basic. It has a very basic home like feel, but the food is really good, and the portions are a lot.
Would definitely want to go here again!
Appetizers and biryanis were good, if u want to go out with colleagues at average cost for meal then u must visit Taaam restaurant to have lovely food
The best Laham mandhi in Bangalore try it for sure they have great mutton chops and malai tikka it is a must visit. It is a lively place. They have a hotel.
I haven't really been here but I have had home delivery couple of times and the mutton mandi is amazing ! The meat is very soft and juicy, can't have enough of it . Rice has a very subtle flavour ! Would love to try out other delicacies from the menu when I'm back in town!
A good place to have Arebian cuisine. I had Mandhi Biriyaani which was very good. Also the soup was good. Bit away from the main road but Google will help you better
very tasty mutton biryani n good meat pieces.
One word to describe this place- Its awsome loved it. I would recommend this place to non- vegetarians who love to taste different types of meat . The food is delicious
awesum taste and delivered on time
It's a simple place tucked into a small lane near Queens road... Easily missed, but once you've been here, you'll come back many times...
Service is decent... The owner was around and personally made sure we were well satisfied...
The food- highly recommended the Arabian dishes... Authentic to the core...
Had the chicken soup...which was flavourful...
The al fahm chicken was well made...the accompanying mayo deserves a special mention here ..
The best was the dazaz mandi and laham mandi... Slow cooked steamed biryani like dish... Extremely tasty, wholesome and the meat was so soft... It melted in our mouths... A few ppl tried the veg options and seemed satisfied....
Quantity is good, and a great value for money....
One word to describe this place - meat. I would recommend this place to non- vegetarians who love to gulp down meat. The food is delicious. The service is quick. A great visit

If you are mutton lover and crave for delicious 😋 soft falling apart mutton , Taaam is the destination for you. They are known for mutton Mandi.
The mandi is a traditional Yemeni Cuisine and nobody does it better than Taaam in Bangalore. Their Mandvi is flavoursome, aromatic rice are to die for.
They have different choices on the menu, but the only decision I have managed to make is, Mutton mandi. I am pretty sure the other items would be as delicious.
I ordered the chicken faham and paneer tikka. Both were delectable😋.
Though the ambience is mediocre staff’s are courteous and the place is affordable and never pinches your pocket.
Munus points are one is hygiene, I wish they could have a hygienic kitchen and also the waiter's could clean the tables immediately after every customer visit and this location is limited parking space for cars.
alfaham was very delicious,n dajaj biryani was good
You deserve a 5!!! Awesome mouthwatering food! Only drawback is the hygiene. Found hair in food and stone in mouth. Still one bad experience doesn't define you. Will surely come again! Would recommend to everyone!
This family Arabian Restaurant is in the lane of Cunningham road. It has the best Paya soup and juicy cheesy chicken are the must try. The Chicken have been nicely marinated and grilled and topped with cheese. The serve with the vegetable salad And They have Majboos, Chicken Mandi also the Pepper fish. They have well maintained staff. The restaurant is not too Crowded.
Simply delicious and the abode of tranquility for Non veg lovers. The food is authentically Arab and the meat is just tender enough to melt in your mouth.
Protip: Stay hungery for the day and then hog to glory in the even.
This is a Mutton Paradise.
Mandi and Chops are the way to go.
Flavour and quantity - A+
Ambience is not so much.
Recommended for meat craving.
Are you an Arabian food lover? Then this is the place you can't miss in Bangalore. Lahm Mandi reminds me of the Saudi days. Have tried several other restaurants but this one is stands out with the taste. If you are looking for something spicy and masalafied then you are in the wrong place. Authentic Arabian food!!!
P.S. Place is not fancy but it get's compromised when food arrives in front of you. Little tricky to find the place. Recommend to use the Google Aunty. Happy hogging!
Excellent Mandi and brilliant starters. The seating and the ambience is average but if the food is very tasty. The pricing and the Quantity is good as well. The mutton starters Quantity does not tie up with the prices.
Best Arabic mandhi in Bangalore!just love it! The Arabian shorba is also good i would recommend this restaurant to everyone! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
The atmosphere and seating arrangement may not be appealing to most but the food they serve will definitely blow anyone away.
The staff is extremely courteous.
For nawabi food, the best place on earth.
Once you taste the lamb in ta'am, you'll never be able to forget about the juicy, flavoured and wholesome taste.
Highly recommended.
Please do not get deterred by the ambience or low occupancy. And yes, keep your maps on to reach this place.
Very few of those places where you can give a 5 rating and still feel you could have given more.
The food they serve is extraordinary, not easily found on menus across food circuits.
Started with chicken shorba and I must admit that before the first sip I was a bit apprehensive. But then, everything changed. One of the best taste with the most succulent chicken cubes.
Dazaz-e-Faham is Indian equivalent of tandoori chicken, with less spices. Add a hint of lemon and this will give you a perfect taste.
The surprise of the day was Faham Mandi. Mutton leg served on a bed of rice. Originated in Yemen, meat is boiled and then skewed in tandoor before cooking it in onion garlic chilly gravy. The rice is cooked in the boiled meat broth. You only have to eat this to believe the taste. To further enhance the eating pleasure, it is served with home cooked tomato chilli Chutney. My mouth still waters when I am writing this.
Pineapple halwa was a worthy end to the Awesome meal.
Highly highly recommended.
Mutton mandi, mutton chops and chicken alfaham out of this world. Amazing place, highly recommended. It's a small place, but it has a nice ambience too.
My husband took me Ta'aam one afternoon promising a hearty meal. Honestly when I stepped into this place my heart sank a little. The ambience is just about okay. I let him order the food as i dug into my phone to hide my disappointment.
First the Chicken Shorba and Mutton chops were brought to the table. The moment I sipped a spoonful of the Shorba I was sorted. I knew my husband was right about the hearty meal. The Shorba just tingled my taste buds. The Mutton chops were extremely succulent and delicious. My mouth's watering as I write this.
Before the main course was served I quickly read through the menu card to know what to expect from Laham Mandi and Dazaz-al-Faham. These two dishes did not just meet my expectations but outdid it. The Mandi was absolutely amazing. I loved the flavours of subtly used spices. The meat just melted in my mouth. The tandoor cooked Dazaz-al-Faham was heavenly. The main course was extremely filling and satisfying.I am definitely, going to go back to this place to try the other Arabian dishes too! :)
Friend suggested the spot, hard to find the location so ask google if ua planning to go.
Ordered Mutton Mandi and mutton chops. Place is known for the tender mutton they serve. They don't serve the real Mandi , it's a flavoured rice but taste good. 2 Mandi will Serve for 3. Highly recommended...
If your taste buds like Arabic style of cooking...you will not regret. The 'mandhi' is extremely good and fulfilling. The other kebabs and dishes also give-away a unique taste. The ambiance is not so great but if you are just there for food then you would totally like it. The restaurant is a bit tucked inside a street. I always prefer a take-out than sitting there. It's also awesome for a team lunch or big group since the bill usually generates on costly side but if you split then its a win-win!
Visited this place to try out the Mandi. This place is just off queens road very close to Indian express signal. This is located in the basement of a building with okayish ambience. We visited this place for lunch and ordered for Mandi and taams special Kabab. Kebabs were out of the world and amazing, mutton in the mandi was very tender and great. Mandi was bland and I suppose that is the way it is meant to be, next time I suppose I should try the spicy version of it. No dessert were available in the noon even though it was mentioned on the menu. Service is not very great either. Also please note the the prices have changed, I have uploaded a part of the menu. Quantity is huge.
Lovely place, came here for a mini team outing. Food is rich and tasty , and quantity was super. This place is worth each penny. The place is not too crowded and u will enjoy the peace of eating.
This place is not suited for every person's taste buds. Food here is arabic in style. That means everything is low in spices. The only reason one must visit this place is if they can appreciate the way the meat is cooked and savour its subtle taste.
Personally i liked it very much. A bit costly though.
A good place to try some Arabian stuff. But better to seek a recommendation.
I was surprised at their Surmai tava fry. It was so good, ended up ordering twice more.
The poultry dishes are ok...
But their special kababs are worth trying especially the recommended ones
Mandhi, mutton chops, koftha and many other dishes was very tasty. hospitality was superb.. you should visit to taste it 👍 have a good appetite😉

Ta'am near Cunningham Road, serves some truly mouthwatering Arabic food. Their best dishes are the Laham Mandi (an Arabic version of lamb biryani) and Pepper Laham (lamb cooked in a pepper spice mix), both pictured.
The lamb will just fall off the bone when you give it a gentle toss, that's how tender the meat is. We have rarely tasted such tender, succulent cuts of lamb in any restaurant in Bangalore before! It doesn't just stop at this.
The intensity of the flavours in the meat broth that accompanied the biryani, were staggering. There was just so much going on, but one distinct flavour emerging from it all - the good kind of overdone, if you know what we mean.
It is hard to remember the last time we chanced upon such down-to-earth and delicious cooking.
Visited this place by to try mentioned dishes in zomato. Both dishes were good. This was first time I had Arabian dish. Unique taste and different style of serving. At reasonable price you can have great non veg dishes.
As we were looking for a new nearby hotel for dinner in zomoto , this hotel came up. Seeing the reviews thought about visiting the place with family. Being a localite, it was difficult to locate the place. Its better they place a name board on Queens road. It looks more than a service apartment until you have a look at the restaurant. The first look really scared me to have a try, as only two people were there. As I had been warned not to run away seeing less count of people from the reviews, took a chance to try the hotel. As mentioned in earlier reviews tried the chicken mandi which lived up to review comment and also one of their bar-be-que items (difficult to re-collect the name). Off course the veg kadai was just okay and on the higher side of the price. Thanks for the reviews could find a new hotel and taste something good. The service was friendly as they had the patience to explain the food and suggest the right items. Hope they maintain and continue.
A colleague took us here for lunch. Ah. Pure Arabic experience. The lamb biriyani, the chicken. The spices used. Amazing food. The ambience can be improved further.
Went to Taam after seeing couple of reviews about Laham Mandi. As described by others its an awsome dish they serve there. Like to appreciate the way they cook mutton for Mandi. I felt similar taste which is similar to Junglee Mass in Handi restaurant in Jaipur. Tasted only one dish but I believe this will be the best restaurant to serve Arabic Food. :)
Gem of a place. Well not so much the place, but the food it offers. Speak to your waiter, very friendly and will guide you through their specialities. Try some of their gravies from and also off the menu (Ask for the Mumtaz, they also concoct dishes to your preference). Let the difficulty to locate, and the plain (yet clean) ambience not deter you from getting there for a scrumptious meal.
Dropped in for lunch, wasn't too crowded and we were attended to very promptly.
Ordered for the Laham Mandi which has a very generous piece of mutton, which was very succulent and tender. Was falling of the bone and melted in the mouth... The rice was very flavourful with long grains. This was served with a tomato chutney and soup which added to the flavours.
We also ordered for the Pepper Dazaz ( Pepper chicken), the chicken was perfectly cooked with lots of black pepper, one of the best pepper chicken I have had in a long time.
A must visit for meat lovers. Ill surely go back to try the rest on the menu!
A decent place with amazingly delicious food. The AL-Faham, a must try though wil leave you spellbound. The Afghani kabab and taa'am special kabab are good too.Friendly service, great menu choices and really tasty food served piping hot- just the way we like it at affordable prices. Will be back!!!
Ta'aam is one of the few remaining examples of what is quickly becoming a rarity in this city - a place that focuses on just one kind of food, and as a result, absolutely nails it. The laham mandi - slow cooked mutton over flavoured rice, a dish that is quite filling for two people - will make your jaw drop. The meat is supple, tender and delicious. I also tried the al-faham chicken, which was equally good. Just the right amount of smoky, charcoal-y flavour to the meat.
Downside? No cards accepted. And the nearest ATM is a fair walk away, down Cunningham Road. But after a meal as good as that, the walk to the ATM and back was well earned.
All you meat lovers, make sure you don't miss out on Ta'aam. After going through the reviews, I ordered for the Laham Mandi and it outdid my expectation. The meat was so succulent and soft that it melts in your mouth. It comes with a Laham broth which is really good too. The dish is put together really well. It serves 2 and totally worth the price which is all inclusive.
This place took me back to Middle East 👍🏽
Awesome food, good quantity. Mutton chop and Arabian tandoori chicken were to die for. Laham mandi has very tender mutton pieces in slightly bland rice as compared to its more spicier sister hyderabadi biryani. A must have for people OK with less spicy food. Chilly paneer and dal fry was also good. Nice service. Calm environment. A must visit for non vegetarian lovers. Gonna visit the place again soon.
I was introduced to Taaam by a friend.. My first statement after seeing the food (Laham Mandi) was "Damm! I can't eat such a big piece of lamb, 2nd statement this can't be lamb... It's so soft, & 3rd I am sorry I am not sharing my piece of meat with anyone!"
Well I have neither tasted any other item from their menu, nor wish to... Coz I will get those items in any other place but no one in Bangalore makes Laham Mandi as delusions, juicy & yummy like them! The meat stock & chilli garlic sauce are just the perfect complement with their Arabic biryani!
Don't go by the look of the place... You won't fall sick coz their food is always fresh...
Arabian food at its best!
Purely based on zomato reviews, I decided to visit the place at around 7pm.. The restaurant was just opened and there wasn't anybody there so I could easily grab a seating of my liking..I asked the waiter to give me whatever they served best and indeed he delighted me with chicken mandi and some extraordinary chicken tandoori cooked in Arabian spices.. The meat was just melting in the mouth.. And the rice was streamed to perfection! All the treat din pinch the pocket too..
Verdict- must try the mandi out here.. It's different from the traditional biryani..
Ohh a finest place for #mandi, just loved the taste!!
Ambiance 3/5
Taste 4.5/5
Quantity 5/5
Quality 4.5/5
Service 3.5/5
Cost 4/5
I will visit again, Thanku for giving a tasty mandi 😉
This is probably one of those not-too-well-known eateries in the city. The cryptic name and inconspicuous location doesn't help matters. A colleague had apprised me of this place, and suggested the 'special style of biriyani' served here. I decided to pay heed to his advice and went in search of Ta'aam on a bright, winter afternoon, with a friend in tow. Locating the place would have been an ordeal, had it not been for a passer-by who told us in vivid details about the exact location. For anyone planning to dine here, it's on one of the lanes off Queen's Road, and right beside a hotel of the same name.
The decor was extremely simple, with metal table-chair sets forming the seating arrangement. It gave off vibes as family restaurants usually do. We started off with a plate of mutton kofta and half a plate of Dazaz-Al-Faham, on the waiter's recommendation. The kofta was bathed in a sea of spicy green curry, which was a bit too spicy for my liking. It would have gone well with roti or naan, but wasn't exactly the ideal choice for starter. The Dazaz-Al-Faham, on the other hand, was delicious. It consisted of nice and juicy pieces o chicken kabab smattered with white sauce on top.
Main course had to be Laham Mandi, their speciality, which can be roughly considered to be Arabian style biriyani. It comprised of a sizeable portion of lamb meat served on a bed of long-grained rice., and accompanied by two bowls of lamb soup. The lamb was unbelievably soft, and sufficient for both of us. Now when it came to the rice, I liked the mellow non-spicy flavour. It was nothing like any of the biriyanis I had tasted before, but I found it agreeable nonetheless. My friend, however, absolutely hated it and couldn't even finish her share of the plate. Talk about different tastes.
Ta'aam is like a quaint little eatery, perfect for that family outing and quiet light on the pocket. Though we tried out only one of their kababs, I am pretty sure that the others are worth a bite as well. A visit to Ta'aam is recommended, even more so since the food arrived with a complimentary serving of green salad where the cucumber slices had their edges neatly trimmed. Extra brownie points to them for that.
Finding this outlet can be a real pain, but I just tell my friends that it's behind Lady Jehangir kothari memorial hall on the 5th lane off Queens road. This definitely has to be my to go to place in & around Cunningham road to get a real hearty meal at prices that don't pinch your pocket. So I went back last afternoon for a very early lunch.
Being the first to land up at about 12:30 pm, there were hardly any customers around & I was a bit worried if they would serve me. But to my surprise the staff said that they were ready to serve me.I was in two minds whether to go for their Arabian cuisine or try something else like their chicken biryani cooked in local Bangalore style. I also happened to glance at their sea food menu & this had me more confused. It was as if their extensive menu was mocking me with "hum tumhare ko itne items deinge menu mein ke confuse hojaogey, ke kya khaein aur nahin". Literally everything on their menu is a favorite with me. I called up my food buddy, but he said that he had already ordered from an online food service & so couldn't join me.
All this was killing me & since the quantities doled out by them are on the bigger scale, I decided to go for their khicdi thali. But the waiter told me that this was not available. This turn of events was just adding to my agony & I was about to walk out, when I happened to see Fish fry on the menu staring at me & I was like "somebody stop me". Fish has to be something which I would love to die eating. So I started off with the Fish fry which had some wonderfully size king/seer fish slice. The fish was perfectly marinated with the right dose of masalas & it was perfectly "browned" to my liking which is more like a peck on the cheek than a big smooch. However the fish was a wee bit "soggy" for my taste. I like my fish to be crisp not juicy.
Next time I am going to ask them to make it crisp, not juicy. Having hogged seerfish over 4-5 other places over the week, I would give this a 4.25* for the taste & size.Next up, I ordered a chicken biryani which was more of the Dakhni style with zeera rice. The rice was quite fragrant & the big chunk of chicken it was delicately cooked. It was so perfectly cooked that I didn't have to struggle with it to pry the meat off the bones. The rice was perfect with both the tamatar ka salan as well as the raitha. The quantity of the rice as well as the chicken was too overwhelming for me & I decided to push my limits to the max. But unfortunately I ended up leaving behind some rice. The chicken was all polished away by me. I would give the biryani a 3.5* for the taste and a 4* for the quantity.
Coming to the ambiance I would give it a 3.5* as the decor is not much to right about other than the newly procured rattan chairs & the neat premises. The staff were very cheerful & quite quick, so they deserve a 4.5* for their efforts. As for the value for money, I guess it would be a 4*.
I will be back for sure next time to try out their desserts and my favorite laham mandi.
=================
On my recent visit to this place, I ended up indulging in chicken kebab, shorba & chicken mandi. The mandi was perfect as usual & the kebabs were very tasty.
If you're thinking of trying mandi, do visit Ta'aam and keep in mind it has a very subtle favour profile. The spices used are minimal and the taste comes from having the rice, meat and the sauce together. If you are expecting an intense and spicy rice dish...skip and head elsewhere!
A friend visiting BLR and I headed over to Ta'aam after a night out needing to satisfy our cravings for mandi.
To start, gratitude to the guy at the counter for helping by giving our auto-driver clear directions when we called the restaurant. We got dropped right outside the restaurant without going around in circles to hike the fare up.
Food: We ordered two laham mandi which were served without delay (you'll be served a soup to get started). On the mandi, the meat and rice was piping hot which made it enjoyable its own (a contest to mix the rice and meat without burning your fingers).
The mutton was tender and moist to the touch (as expected from the way it is cooked) which went perfectly with the rice and sauce.
Ambience: This place isn't a dump as many make it out to be, but a no frills and bare furnished restaurant which is fine as the dining area and dishes provided were clean.
Pricing: Prices are reasonable as we both ordered one mandi each. Definitely not a dish to be shared as you'd be working towards a food coma trying to finish the rice and scrape all the meat from the bone. Plus there aren't numerous options to go elsewhere for mandi.
Why the 4½ stars? Overall believe the restaurant can fix up the place from bare minimum furnishing as people do compare price per meal to ambience where it is lacking.
Personally found the food here delicious... probably the best i have had in Bangalore. Laham Mandi is delicious & the mutton is very tender, this is served along with the mutton stock. Al faham, Ta'aam special kebab, Shalimar chicken were also too good to the palate. Highly recommended for meat lovers..

Born and brought up abroad in the middle East and tried Mandi at many popular eateries in Bengaluru in over 12 years, this is by far the best Mandi I've ever had.
We had ordered a chicken Mandi, mutton Mandi and mutton faham. The mutton Mandi is heavenly and amazing that words can't express. The mutton faham is equally amazing and soft that it melts in the mouth. Chicken Mandi was good among other places I've had, but doesn't stand a chance against the mutton Mandi. One portion is enough for 2 people.
This restaurant is a small place in the basement of a building. Don't judge the place by its looks. The food that we had was incredible. You'll definitely not be disappointed.
I've given only one other restaurant a five star so far in Bengaluru and this restaurant deserves it for sure.❤️
I have ordered Chicken biryani and DAJAJ - AL-FAHAM (Arabian tandoori chicken) Taste of biryani is good but the quality of chicken is excellent in both the dish. They serve non - veg Soup which tastes very delicious and it is complimentary. A must visit Arabian restaurant if you are in bengaluru.
Rates of biryani is only 150 Rs.
We had chicken pepper mandi and mutton roast mandi. The chicken one was better, with more masala .
Very chilly and smooth atmosphere.
Mutton Mandi was awesome, One of the best mandi I've Had in a long time.
The Falvour of the rice and the tenderness of the mutton was very good. I really loved it 😋😋
Chicken Al-Fahaam Also was really good.
Must try 💪💪
It's an old restaurant but the taste is really good.
The mutton soup before Mandi being served was so refreshing ☺️👍
✨✨✨✨✨
5 stars for food that's finger-licking delicious. They specialise in the arabian cuisine which includes shorba, mandi, mutton chops etc which are most popular food items sort out here. Sweets include Kunafa (vermicelli & cheese pudding) and busbousa (semolina cake), my all time favs. I give 3 stars for the setup of this place as it is not that good or inviting. Just basic place to sit and eat, that's it. The owner needs to work on renovating the place; but again, why would he when it's crowded most times due to the delicious arabian cuisine served here. Would certainly recommend to people who love arabian food.
The first thing we get to drink here is the Paya soup which was hot and tasty. I got new food and flavors to taste here in the Arabian style, as I had their regular Mandi which was yellowish and spice-less. But the pepper Mandi was awesome and had lots of Masala. I enjoyed the barbeque chicken and rest dishes also. And also please visit early for this place for full menu card availibilty and satisfaction.
Ta'aam was one of the many brands I had worked in. We launched this 10 years ago and I'm glad to see it flourish today and also become one of the favourite eateries of many in Bangalore. Ta'aam was the first one to introduce Mandi in town. We didn't even know what Dajaj Mandi or Lahab Mandi was until we started working on the menu. I'm also proud to be the first customer of this place where I savoured the home style khichdi with pudhina chatni along with the first ever Mandi. I tried the pepper Mandi for the first time and I eat that here on every visit.
After tasting a similar menu in many other places I always come back to dine or take away from ta'aam because nothing has changed here right from taste, service to the unique menu. This place has become a hub for families and corporate crowed alike and is especially enjoyed by a group of friends.
With ample parking space for vehicles we can dine here peacefully. The owners Irshad bhai and his Son Affan are very warm in treatment and usually help you out with selecting right items from the menu depending on the diners.
Will always suggest this place for all and pray that this place does well for decades to come.
The food was simply very good. The meat was juicy and tender. Very well cooked. Service was okay. There's no family section. The entire place is directly open, so very well ventilated.
The mandi is the highlight. The soup and chutney that come with the rice are healing and the chicken or lamb so soft and succulent.
One of the best places in Bangalore where you can get really awesome Arabian style food.. the first spoon of the Mandi rice will tell you why this restaurant is good. Priced slightly on the costlier side, but still worth the money.
One of the best mandis. The starter soup was good. We loved the chops. Compared to any other restaurant this one's affordable.
Had ordered Mutton Mandi and half a plate of cheese grilled chicken.
Mandi was served with a cup of mandi soup and tomato chutney.
The quantity of mandi is as shown in picture. Two moderate eaters can finish it comfortably.
Taste wise, soup was perfect with less spices flavouring and good for intestinal health.
The mandi flavouring was perfectly balanced & was least spicy. You can add on the spicy touch with tomato chutney combination.
The mutton was amazingly juicy and was too easy to melt in your mouth.
The cheese grilled chicken was tasty and was cheese overload and with spices combo. Got to feel the taste of cheese chicken pizza.
Coming to pricing, Mutton mandi costed 490rs which is definitely overpriced for the quantity served.
Cheese grilled chicken costed 360rs which is also bit on a higher price.
Staff here definitely need to become more active as the response, arrangement and serving time is too slow. Seemed as if they r inexperienced.
Overall if they keep up the same quality of taste and work on their pricing & staff, that will definitely take them to greater heights Inn Shaa Allah.
Amazing Non Veg Cuisine and Dont miss the Khunafa (sweet dish)
The mutton al-faham was the best mutton i ever had. Tasty, juicy and tender. The rice was also good. Kunafa could have been better tough...seating is avg and there is no ambience to talk off. Its on the expensive side too but then the succulent mutton made it all go away.
The best Mutton Mandi in town. Mutton Al Faham is out of the world. Also the Mutton Chops is Lazeez.
Good food. Had the lamb Mandi.
Mutton was cooked really good, meat was very nice and tender. There was some smell in the meat. Maybe it's normal, or maybe it was sheep and not lamb. Because from what I know, that is how sheep mutton smells like.
Rice was good and had amazing flavor. The most authentic part was the "tomato sauce/puree;" it was exactly like what they give along with the rice in Saudi.
Overall, I'd recommend this place, worth the visit.
The best place to have mandi in bangalore IA here.
None if the place can match the quality and it's taste.
