Amazing Place great service.. Thanks Sunil for amazing service. Loved the mushroom gauluti kabab, must try here.. Plus cool place get your insta clicks..
Since I am punjabi, I loved this place. I ordered ladyfinger vegetable and palak paneer along with lassi. Lassi was beyond ossum. The palak paneer and ladyfinger were delicious. The place is nice to go with family. It's bit expensive but it's worth it. We also ordered masala papad. The papad according to it's rate was normal.
It was planned dinner out. To the name it surely stands out as pure Dhaba ambiance. Menu is good one to have verity listening. Core North Indian food and authentic recipes. Galauti Kebab is really start of the Menu... absolutely melts in your mouth. Bar in the other side needs a complete change... we feel more of drinking sherbet flavour rather than the punch, but good taste.
lovely ambiance ..had a great time suhel Alam was so cortoues..makes us feel so comfortable. thank you keep it up I love the chicken taka tak..was yummy...
It was good place for punjabi food. Good variety of food.. but cost is high according to the place.
But good and yummy food... specially the paneer tikka
After a long time we went to a Dhaba which was nice experience food is good but over priced.........nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnniiiiiiiiiiiiicccccccceeeeeee.
Good punjabi food with OK ambience. Artificial truck is kept to add to the atmosphere. Food is regular mughlai food. Should change menu now as it has become highly repetitive.
Malgudi The Dhaba: Gives you a unique Ambience which is perfect for a rider. The place serves good quality Veg food through a see through kitchen & the staff are really very friendly+sweet. A place to visit for groups as you can enjoy food with a beer on the side.
Ratings(Out of 5) :
Food : 4.2
Ambience : 4.3
Service : 4.5
Value for Money : 3.8
Must try : Egg Masala (if you are a eggitarian)
Although the rating seems to be less but I wanted to give this a try so went there with family and food was really good and it's worth spending here. Ambience was also very friendly.
Went there multiple times the ambiance tries to give you a mixed feeling of fine dinning and dhaba. First 2 visits the food was good and we 3 families enjoyed the food. But the last trip was not so good as the service was slower than expected and the taste was not as before. Plenty of parking space available.
Visited this place some time back for dinner. Was very sceptical about the place because of the Zomato rating, but there were not much choices around so gave it a try. As soon as we entered, I saw a truck like structure inside the restaurant. So this place is real fun for kids. They have dining place inside the truck as well. Lots of kids were having a gala time. Coming to the food, we ordered chicken lollypop for starters, tandoori roti, chicken ghee roast , paneer butter masala , dal tadka , plain lassi and mango lassi and lastly chicken biryani. The service was very very slow. None of the waiters were concerned to serve. Taste of food was good, nothing was very oily and spicy. Dal tadka was really good. Paneer butter masala was also really nice. Chicken biryani was not good at all. The real show stopper was the lassi. Very yummy and specially the mango lassi ,very very yummy but the rating is all due to the service. Very very disappointing. Lassi was served atleast after 45 mins after reminding them repeatedly. This place definitely deserves better rating for the food they serve if they improve their service.
After a long time we went to a Dhaba which was nice experience. Food was good but somewhat overpriced.
Nice ambiance and a very good and helping staff.
Am regular to this place, have tried most of the Food from the menu and i liked it all.
Service Personnel are very kind and hospitable
Would definitively recommend to others
I had been to "The Dhaba"recently and the ambience of that place is really good. We ordered so many dishes, and i must say that north indian dishes were very delicious. We were very much satisfied with the hospitality too. Since we were very much hungry, we weren't made to wait for long as we got our order very fast.
Overall we were very much pleased with everything and would like to come back soon.
Keep up the good work
Truthfully I give this restaurant 4.5 stars because had very nice experience. When we arrived to this place, the resturant was buzzing and every table was almost full. It's a very nice restaurant with exactly Dhaba look in it. We were sitting inside a lorry it was an amazing experience . Staffs over here explained us everything on the menu is dhaba style especially the GENERAL MANAGER, he was such an Humble person. The enviroment made us so nice. Most of my friends order 1-2 items per person. We started with the chicken lollipop, murgh kalmi, paneer tikka and went on to main course like naan, butter chicken, biryani etc .. and ended up with gajar halwa and gulab jamoon. The food over here is really very tasty.
They also update their menu according to what they can locally source and you can received a completely different experience!
Overall this place is amazing!! I would suggest everyone to go to this resturant .
I and my friends visited the dhaba. To have a get to gether on tuesday 11th april, when we entered in we where welcome-, group of 6 pepole provided a table near bar counter. we ordered for starters panneer tikka and murgh tikka along with beer, the taste of the starters was really good, repeatd the same order, for the main course we ordered Kali mirchi masala
,dhal makani, kadai panner with tandoori parotas. after the main course we order for Ghajar halwa with icecream ,taste of the main course was very good, the ambiance is superb
service of the waiter was helping us a lot.
I will surely go back to the place and recomand this place all my friends.
After a long time i came back to Bangalore for Reunion with my St. Joseph's friends . So, we went for lunch in The Dhaba Restaurant. I had fairly low expectations considering that it is a Dhaba inside the city. But i was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance and the food.We gotta good hospitality and ambiance was really .It has a typical dhaba feel to it.
Right from the lassi to the parathas and the subzi everything was very superb.
I enjoyed the food and the service. Specially Amritsary Fish fry is really superb tast
. I ate Maki ka Roti and Sarson ka Saag, which is the most famous thing available here..
Will definitely visit again..
Don't Miss to visit this place.
I had been here many time with my family.......They have a actual truck inside the restaurant in which you can sit and have food...... The ambience is good......They take much time to serve the order......Their price is really high...... The only downside was the service. It was really really, slow and nobody was really interested to come and see what the customers wanted.
If they step up their service game, I think the place will do much, much better. Because the food is good!!
Ambience: Eye catching part of restaurant is the truck. It gives an authentic Dhaba wala feeling. Other than this ambience is simple.
Food: I liked Prawns starter and Dal tadka in main course .
Service: Excellent.
I have been here 3-4 times. It's a bit costly but great food, ambience and decorations. Fast service and easy to reach. Gives you a feeling of proper Dhaba.
North indian food has good taste. If you miss the dhabas of north india do visit here.
Do try pudina paratha here. Tawa paneer is also good.
For starters, do try peshawari malai tikka.
Don't forget to try the gajar ka halwa.
I have been here, twice. Amazing food and service!
The waiters know what you should try, as per your queries about the dishes.
One should definitely try the Amritsari Pomfret. :D
Went with a gang of 9 friends to this place and thoroughly enjoyed the food (all vegetarian), ordered 4 starters and 2 curries, none of them disappointed. Also, nice place for some cool pics/selfies. The service was prompt too. In fact was very quick.
Overall, a nice experience. In fact surprised to see many bad reviews for this place.!
Dhaba style seevice and atmosphere really creatively done
All tandoors and rotis paratos kababas all items very good .
Gravys taste like home made guys are rocking
Food is okay but a bit too costly ,also service is okay. mushroom mirchi and tomato soup are really nice.its built in a dhaba style as the name suggests.overall okay restaurant.
An old blore restaurant where I used to enjoy eating when I had newly come to blore. I like their decor and ambience but the food quality needs to improve specially as the food is a bit on the costly edge.
Dhaba is one of the old restaurant in Bangalore and always colocated with Malgudi and Shogun.
Dhaba at Marathahalli has a good space to accommodate large number of people , ambience is kept like a typical Dhaba with make shift Truck and open Kitchen.
Food is good with lots of variety, non-vegetarian dishes and vegetarian dishes. They have a small bar as well and have decent collection. Service is also prompt and pricing is decent.
Authentic North Indian food.. A decent place to hang out with friends.
Variety 4/5
Taste 4/5
Service 4.5/5
Ambiance 4.5/5
Dhaba can increase the variety in mock tails as well as starters.
Nice ambience.. Good food. Went for team lunch (a treat) non veg n veg starters were good. Even main course was good. Pocket friendly menu.
It was a perfect place for a lovely, rainy evening. We pulled over to avoid the insane Bengaluru traffic and jug it with some grub. The ambience was nice and warm. My son was thrilled to be seated on the truck. Being a Paleo-friendly person, I indulged in the subtle Palak Shorba and the chili mushroom, cooked to perfection. The other parties at my table relished their chicken dish (can't remember the name). We had also tried the Malai Kofta and it was too sweet for my liking, I'd let that go. Reasonably priced, a bar in house, good food - I think that's a deal striker. I need to go back another time to have more food and give a better rating :)
Hi,
Went with Office team for lunch. Food was good. Veg and non veg starters were really good. Slightly costly compared to other locations in term of ambiance..
The food is quite good. Yummy succulent chicken and rich gravy. The stuffed parathas are a must try. It is a good place for family dinners and get togethers with friends
The Dhaba has renovated their interior space recently .. though the old typical dhaba looks have gone .. they still managed to keep some amount of looks intact ..
As far is taste is concerned -- Dhaba is authentic Punjabi ... Butter Chicken is something that you must try here along with the Murg thandoori ...
If you are little late (post 0830pm) in the weekends, then you need to wait for long queue to get a seat .. so watch out .. Dhaba is a good place for north indian food in marathahalli area.
It was a great experience being to this place once again. One of the places in bangalore where you can actually distinguish between the taste of non-veg curries. Awesome punjabi dishes and not to forget kababs 😉👌🏻
Great taste and not too deep rooting in the pockets.
We had dinner here multiple times; love their Mirch Mushroom. Service is good here; they shall concentrate on reducing the time to bring the food to table. That's a long affair when you are hungry.
Lassi, was not okay.
I would keep coming back.
Prices are on the higher side.
The best kulcha I ate in Southern India. Delicious food with courteous staff. Ambience is OK and the service was prompt. I am visiting again for sure.
An isolated place near to Marathahalli, where the place is not so close but yes not too far as well.
By looking the reviews we got little disappointed and when we entered in odd hours, this place was empty! We didnt expected much from this site but still we relaxed and ordered only starters! To our astonishment, the starters were quite good, crisp and spicy with perfect flavour - we ordered Paneer Tikka Masala and Mushroom chilly!
After successful taste of aforesaid starters, mushroom masala we ordered which was hell spicy but we got that immediately replaced by management as a token of goodwill.
Service is little slack here, basic etiquettes were not followed.
Hence, 3.5 is perfect.
Hubby gave a thumbs-up to this place, it is near to our house and conveniently located near Marathahalli Bridge on Outer Ring Road (opposite Jeevika Hospital), so we decided to go there for Sunday dinner.
There are a couple of other restaurants as well in the complex. Parking is on the service road but there is no dearth of space. We went up to The Dhaba on first floor. The restaurant is spacious and nicely decorated. There is a truck placed on one side to give a dhaba feel. You can also sit on the truck where there are 2 tables arranged. There was some known Bollywood tunes being played which made me feel good.
Husband and me were escorted to our table and given the menu card. Service was very prompt and efficient and the waiters were attentive and ever-smiling. We were served papad and given a quick refill when it got over the first time. We ordered a Kingfisher beer, a Bonda Sharbat and Chicken Malai Kebab to start with. The sharbat was a refreshing mix of tender coconut juice and honey. (There was supposed to be mint as well which I was not able to taste or smell much.) Malai Kebab was soft and tasty but a little overpriced. For main course we ordered Butter Naan and Laal Maas. I found the Laal Maas truly delectable and gobbled every drop of the gravy on my plate. Starters as well as main course tasted authentic North Indian. For dessert we ordered a Kulfi. This to my disappointment turned out to be an Amul Kulfi. It tasted fine but just that I was expecting an authentic Kulfi made in-house.
The bill came to 1328 for two. I cherished the attentive service, loved the food and enjoyed the ambiance. However prices are a little on the higher side. Cost of Rs. 850 for two is highly underestimated in Zomato.
Went for having a lunch. The ambience of the restaurant was just okay. Oredered bread basket, kulcha, steam rice, mixred raita, murgh masala and Keema lajwaab. All are tasted good. Service is also goo. Overall its good.
Restaurant is located at a prime spot in Marathahalli right on the ORR, near to the Radisson bkue marathalli. It has a very nice ambience and unique punjabi vibe to it, the food options are ample and it tastes good too. The service is quick and staff is very polite. I always have a good time whenever i visit them and enjoy with friends. They also have a quite good range of drinks which are unique. I loved the fish there, it was soft and melted in mouth, the chicken was okayish.
Enjoyed a really good dinner here. We ordered tawa chicken with lachha paratha and green salad in a main course. Both the tawa chicken and lachha paratha were tasted fresh and each soft bite was flavourful. The lachha paratha was so soft and taste good.
This restaurant serves authentic north Indian cuisine located at Marathahalli, Bangalore. It has a dhaba style set up and the food makes you drool every bite. Must try their non-veg platter, their masala papad with the salad was a good starter, the chicken curry was a good accompaniment for the softest naan.

The food was good and service too, the smell although inside was a little weird and make me uncomfortable. But if you can ignore that it's a good place with good service
It is a Punjabi restaurant with a spacious space. This place has a bar counter as well. The hospitality of the staff is good. It is a decent option to have family and team dinners or lunches. Ambiance is a typical Punjabi setup. This place has good vibes and during our visit the music played was really good.
Food we had here:
Achari soya chap
Kala kukka chicken
Dhaba di roti
Amritsari Chole
Mocktails
Overall, it is a great place to visit with friends and family.
Classic food.. awesome decor... authentic dhaba style 😎 we satisfied our taste buds with Paneer tikka lababdaar, tandoori roti and thick creamy lassi...kids had oreo shake..Sb Mast hai..🤩
Good ambiance. Nice service. Bar service is good. Creatively designed, so you enjoy the view.
Nice Place for Authentic Punjabi Food.
Must Try Lassi and Punjabi Food.
Pro Tip: Use Zomato Dine-In Feature to Avail Flat 20% Off on your Bill.(Otherwise it's Expensive Restaurant)
Been there 5 times. Each time it was great experience. Value for money and really tasty food.
A good for family fine dining. There are a lot of veg options. There is a beverage menu. The menu had a lot of chats and north indian cuisine. On weekends the wait time is about 10-15 mins and pre-booking is available. There is valey parking.
One of my favorite North Indian restaurants PAN India. I tried their food for the first time while I was in Chennai. But then the love relationship has always gone up. Their gravy meat is one of the best you can eat filled of spices and juices. Their drinks are so refreshing. The prices might look like they are on the upper side of the spectrum but the quality and quantity both are apt. This is a highly highly recommend restaurant for anyone to savor North Indian food. A must recommendation from my side.
Food ok good, little expensive service delay, ambience good..
It's a genuine modern Dhaba atmosphere in the hotel. The painting on the walls, the cutlery, the Punjabi english written around. The food is one of the best in Bangalore. I am in love with the food here. Lot of variety of menu available. One must try their lassi served in the kullad. They have a full-fledged bar. Music is loud but it's OK. One must visit once at least. Both, veg & Non-Veg dishes are authentic.
Over all good experience. Price seems bit high but it was worth for the food taste what they giving. Service was nice too. Well recommended place in Bengaluru Marathahalli
The experience eating here is awesome ,food is best in class and the service amazing , prices will burn your pocket though
