The kerala parotta and chicken roast was super yummy.. good taste and appropriate quantity.#bestkeralafood
I've ordered from here several times and it has never disappointed.
Must try items include their chicken varutharachathu, the beef ularthiyathu, puttu, and idiappam!
The best place to eat appam.
We ordered via Zomato at the time of COVID lockdown. The food was good & packaging was as expected. The chicken varutharachatu was petty oily but it tasted very good. All and all, we’re happy campers & would come back for more interesting dishes.

Ordered from here yesterday. Appam was fluffy and the Kerala paratha could have been a bit better. However, the pothu roast turned out to be unbelievably good. This is the first time we tried Kerala style beef roast, and it was delicious! The coconut chunks were also a great addition. Quantity could have been a bit better, but overall it was a very satisfying experience. Looking forward to order again soon.
After a long time, i found some very good hygenic Malayali food . the food is very tasty and good. hope they maintain the same taste and also hygiene in view of covid.
Best Malayali restaurant in Bangalore
The food was delicious. We were a little skeptical about the hygiene and quality of food esp due to the lockdown, but the food was amazing....the packaging, quality everything was great...loved it..thanks team
Ordered Pothu roast and kerala Porrotta from Zomato.
Pothu roast: 8/10
Kerala Porrotta: 8/10
Taste of Pothu roast: nadan style taste
Quality: well cooked meat, easy to chew, less oily, tasty
Quantity of Pothu Roast: medium (1 person) can have easily.
I would recommend to have a try from Muthashy's Restaurant
I liked chicken Varutharachathu but it is over priced. 3pc chicken 170rs.😳
Food is not that great (appam and puttu are in exceptions)
Its pocket friendly
Ambience is okayish
Service was again okayish
Staff needs to be more polite and friendly to customers.
ordered chicken curry with kerala porotta
taste ; 5/5
ambience 4.5/5
service 4/5
quality n hygiene 4/5
I ordered for appam and payar curry. I received dry payar. Please update your menu..It had costed me 60/- . The quantity I received is too too less. Which is not worth paying 60 rupee. hence giving 1 star
Hoo had meals after so long! And this was great! All the dishes was so yummy.. the pickle tasted like homemade only. Ordered some plates of mathi and that was yum too. Definitely my go to for meals whenever i crave for some.
Wonderful homely food,..........soo tasty
just had the best best porotta beef combination .. loved the taste of beef it was spicy but though tasty porotta was little hard i loved the combo malluz romanjam🔥❤️
Ordered a chicken manchurian. Coupled with zomato promo, it was cheaper. The dish was tasty and good. The delivery was quick. Overall a great experience
Have ordered puttu and kadala curry last week was too good .Quantity is more! and feels homely🙂.Repeating again but aappam today , Adipoli😄

Great food and great service with a a great ambiance to dine. One of my fav food place. Fills my stomach and heart when ever had from here. Tq.
A really good place to try out while craving Kerala food. Have tried their appam, kadala curry and egg roast. Did not disappoint at all. Would definitely try this place again
An awesome "no frills attached" joint with authentic Kerala cuisine ....Been a regular for a long time now and what I love the most is their consistency in taste and simplicity . Parking could be a challenge , as this place is located in Maruti Nagar main road...However for the quality and taste of this kind , I am game walking the distance .Try it out and you would agree with me. Every dish has authenticity in flavour and taste ..Must try would be dishes like Appam, Puttu, Kappa, Dosa, Kerala porotta and biryani with options like egg curry , chicken curry or Kadala curry.Special mention about Kerala meals with fish curry and fish fry ..Homely moru curry served with meals would be my all time favourite...Overall , Thumbs up ...this is a must try place for all Kerala food lovers...
Love this place for my kerala food cravings. This place was suggested by one of my friend.. and now I am a regular customer , love their meals😍 must try guys.
It’s very rare that I give a 5 star review to a kerala restaurant, since Iam a Keralite myself i have high expectations for the food of my state. Ordered lunch from muthashys fish curry meals , chicken varutharachathu and porotta
First of all the meals was brilliant, rice was warm side veggies including Avial and kachiya moru was perfect, the fish curry provided tasted awesome , usually when it is given with meals they are watered down, but muthashys curry was thick and really flavourful
Chicken varutharachathu although didn’t look like the pic shown on the menu, was yummy! chicken pieces tender and the coconut gravy was thick and flavourful
Porotta although ok, lacked the puffiness , I believe it was not beaten , usually that’s what makes the layers of the Porotta come out and gives the real taste, need to improve on this
Finally packing was done with utmost care so there was no leakage or mixing of food
Would definitely recommend them if you are looking for authentic flavourful kerala food. Keep up the good work guys
One of the best kerala restaurants which is located near BTM. Mostly all the items which i have tried was tasty and the quality was also good. I can suggest this place, if you are porotta lover. A place where you will get best kerala porotta and egg roast.
The price is also reasonable, and the service is very nice.
The best hotel for a typical Malayali in Bangalore. This hotel makes mouth watering dishes which makes us remember about our home,
Service is excellent and has no words...
Quantity of curry and side dish is too less
If you are sea food lover this is one of d best place to be ..... I started loving kerala food after visiting muthashy . .. The service is best out here and the quality and taste was too good ....
This is a very nice place for mallus who would like to taste homely food. The quality of the food is usually very nice and even on home deliveries, they never send the wrong food item. Loved it 👌🏼👌🏼
Typical Kerala cusine.Nice ambience and well mannered staff.
Food is moderately priced.
Tried a pothi biriyani charged at 150 rs.. Quantity was lots.Taste was ok.Meals is even better.
A must visit place if you are craving for Kerala food.
I like the chicken kabab..it is very spicy as I needed. But idli is not that much good. Whenever i feel like having puttu kadala I order from Muthassi..nowadays quantity is less.
I had ordered Kerala meals and ayla fish fry its a typical kerala restaurant decent food at affordable price lot of traditional varities of kerala cusine you will get to taste here over all 4/5
Meals and two appam in 110rs. A decent portion of rice. Sambar, pickles, beans thoran, curry and a nameless brown stuff tasting of
Cinnamon. Packed hygienically and without leakage.
Recommended when in need for authentic Kerala meals. Beware of ordering from Koramangala at prime traffic times. Will get delayed as needs to cross silk board, where you can get engaged and married in one go while waiting in rush hours..
Hi All !
Good day !!!
Hidden gem for kerala food. This place serves one of the best beef roast, beef gravy is ok. They charge 160 per plate. 16rs per paraota. There biryani rice was good.
Nxt will Visit will taste there meals. Decent ambience. Can take family. No car parking place. Two wheeler we can be parked. No wheel chair facility available, resturant is in first floor.
Must try place if u beef and kerala meals lover. Haven't tasted meals. But saw young crowd feasting over it.
Don't expect high quality service from waiters. It's crowded during peak dinner time, you need to call them if you need items.
Regards,
Pk
Meals is very good . I find similar tatses to our kerala meals & the fish fry is not at all fresh i an damn sure that its 2,3 days old cold fish been fried & served exept fish other everything is good & the price is also ok not too high .
Muthashy's is a typical Kerala style restaurant. I have tried quite a few Kerala restaurant and this is a better one. We had meals and fish fry and both were good. Don't except a great ambience. The waiters could have been dressed better. Service was good. It's in a crowded area surrounding by lots of PGs. Parking is a problem. Two wheelers may get Parking but a definite NO to cars.
I have visited here twice. The place is very pocket friendly and authentic food. I always order the veg meal along with some non veg curry on the side. I love their chicken curry and fish fry. The fish curry was decent not to my liking. For veg meal, they provide 3 different kinds of stew -normal sambar, buttermilk sambar and rasam. You can ask for seconds in the veg meal but not with non veg dishes. Overall my chicken meal only costed me 250/-and the food was delicious.
Had varities of food from Muthashy's Restaurant. It's in the first floor of a building.all foods which we tried was awesome expecially appam ,egg masala, beef fry, meals fish fry etc .price of the foods which is the normal rate around the areaThe ambience is really good and there is separate place for family to eat as well. The restaurant is well maintained and properly managed. Customer service is also good.
Best Kerala meal available. I've tried a lot of restaurants, but this one is the greatest.
It's on the first floor. Parking is simple for two-wheelers but difficult for four-wheelers.
From the main road must be turned slightly to the left, which is not immediately visible.
Searched out this restaurant in Google and made a quick visit. Was surprised to see the crowd. We had meals, chicken biriyani and a fish fry. Meals and fish fry was too good, though biriyani felt only average. Overall a nice place to visit if you miss kerala food.
One of the best and authentic kerala restaurant in the city. If you go in week-ends, might need to wait for few minutes for getting table. But the food they serve will pay for the wait. Service is also good, but a delay In taking order is observed few times. I used visit this restaurant from past 4 years and had some bitter experience regarding the service and often in taste of some food too. But still the number of times I visited this resturant is comparatively more and the such experience is very rare. Must try item I do recoomecommend is the fish biriyani which coats 250 Rs and is worth paying the amount.
The hotel's ambiance truly captures the essence of Kerala. Dining at the hotel was a culinary journey through Kerala's diverse flavors. The restaurant offered an array of dishes that celebrated the region's rich gastronomy. I savored the delectable Malabar seafood curry and traditional appam, which were a true delight for my taste buds.
Very nice food in the BTM layout area, i had meals from here along with chicken kabab and King fish fry.
The food is exquisite. This is the best Kerala meal available in this region.
When I first went there, the place had a bad smell of waste, Please look into these things .
While the food at Muthassi Hotel was certainly enjoyable, I was disappointed with the behavior of the waiters. They were rude and dismissive, which really detracted from the overall dining experience. It's a shame, as the food itself was quite good.
Unfortunately, the way the waiters behaved left a bad taste in my mouth and I'm not sure if I would return to this establishment in the future. I hope the management takes note of this issue and takes steps to ensure that their staff are more professional and polite in the future.
Overall, while the food was nice, the behavior of the waiters was not up to standard and it detracted from my dining experience
Not so good, I have visited to have dinner The time around 10:15 PM, only chapathi and fried rice was available, I ordered chicken fried rice, the taste was not good and the chicken pieces like very hard. Not satisfied with the service and taste.
The best Kerala meals I had from Bangalore...
A variety of dishes are served with meals for 80 rupees . Fish fry is also decent. The "mathi" fry was a little over crunchy which I don't like personally, i prefer "ayla" fry here
The food is good especially if you like Kerala style. the feel we get is bit of traditional & congested with respect to ambience😃
The food quality is the best, the prices are reasonable, and it is spacious. The service is also good and fast.
It is a kerala restaurant. They have good meals and some good fish fries. Evening kanji is available. Weekends we need to wait to get a seat
It's located on the 1st floor in a small lane from the main road. Its a go to place if you are craving to have a decent kerala meal. We had dinner here at 9pm. The kizhi porota got over by that time. The kerala porota is by far best in the area. Beef roast was okayish but the nei meen/seer fish was yummy. Kerala biryani tasted good and filling with good quantity of chicken pieces. Although menu card is not available, the staffs/chetas here were very friendly and helpful. Looking around they serve piping hot puttu and egg curry as well. Will surely visit again to try the pending kizhi porota on my list.
One of the best places near Koramangala to have Kerala style oonu and fish. Karimeen pollichath was good but Matthy fry was not very tasty. Chor, thoran and other side dishes were really good.
The places is really over crowded from 1 to 2pm and is a bit congested inside. You will have to wait to get seats. Temperature is a bit high here. Parking is also hard to find.
I am a regular customer of Muthasy's restaurant. We can have good food at an affordable price
