Salem, a place in Tamilnadu is very famous just not for food! The flavours are quite unique, which reminds us of iconic restaurants in Salem. Salem Kitchen, a 20 year old place is very much underrated in AECS Layout serves you fantastic dishes from Salem.

The food is authentic, delicious, and affordable. The service is warm and friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience. These idlis were just yummmm.
Food taste was average and bit spicy. Price is high with respect to food quality and hotel standards.
Trying Kongu cuisine for the first time. This is not a high end place, more economy. You go for the food, not the service or ambience. Having dosa with mutton gravy is a different experience, a match made in food heaven. The dosa was really good, mildly fluffy and yet slightly crisp at the bottom.
Had tried out breakfast here. They have two separate areas service and self-service section (only in the evening). Hotel is well maintained. Had idly and tea. Idly and chutney was very tasty, Sambar was tasty too but I felt it was little bit watery. Tea was also very good. Service was very prompt. O

Mutton kulambu was tasty and i could relate to my grandma's masala which I would never be able to recreate.
All tamil folks can visit here if you want to taste authentic non veg of kongu region.

One of the best ambience , the food was great and it was delivered to the table on time unlike many places where they make you wait. Few dishes were unique to this restaurant and are a must try . Tiffins were great too and had good filter coffee after a very long time .

Breakfast was good especially Appam, the chutneys are really good too. I loved the red chutney they served here the most.
