So I've been craving a Chicago deepdish for a fair while now. It's not something that's really popular or available in Bangalore. But thankfully I was advised to try out Uno. Had to get a delivery, but damn. First off, even though the travel time is an hour from the restaurant to my place, the pizza was in proper shape and ready for me to inhale. Let's start with the toppings: I'd ordered for the farmer's market, which is by and far one of the prettiest pizzas I've had, and the pepperoni which was so full of porky goodness. The cheese had that 'gram worthy stretch and the sauce was generously doled out with its warm goodness. And to top all of this off was the firm, light and buttery base and crust that made this the food intake method of choice. Would absolutely be ordering again as soon as I'm done chomping down on the substantial quantity of deliciousness that I got.

I had the chicken loaded cheesy fries,UNO veggie extravaganza pizza and the mac and cheese pasta.
The fries were good but the portion size was very less,the pizza tasted good and the pasta was fine.
The only problem here is that the price to portion size isn't that good because the food here is quite a bit expensive but the portion size doesn't serve justice to the price which is one thing they should improve.
The staff were courteous,service was fine and the ambience wasn't that great.
Overall you can visit this place occasionally for some good food.

I went to this place for dinner on a weekday couple of days ago. We ordered chicken wings (sadly it had run out of the Chicago fire ones) and rock prawn dynamite for starters. Both of them were great. And then I ordered my favourite mac & cheese, which was also good. At last, we wanted to have the deep dish apple pie, but it wasn’t available, so we went for uno deep dish sundae (freshly baked huge choco chip cookie topped with icecream and chocolate sauce), which was heavenly. It was one of the best desserts I’ve had lately. Overall, an amazing place to hangout.

I love their food! Have been here atleast 4 times. Everything is spot on. The taste, quantity super good. Deep dish pizza is ofcourse what they are famous for, apart from that I have tried their burgers, pastas french mains(entree), it was always perfect.
I must admit, the very first time when I ordered their deep dish pizza, it wasn't that great. But they had just opened then so I gave them some time 😁
Second time onwards there was no looking back.
Take my word, just go for it.
One negative - Beers are bit expensive than other similar places I have been to. I would love them to have some more mid range alcoholic drinks in general. Other than that, all good.
Styled like a quintessential American bar, Uno has the typical booth sofas and tables for mixed seating options.
While a range of appetizers, salads, burgers, pastas, pizzas, entres and desserts fill up the menu, I like that one can add additional sides to the burgers and entres.
I found the chicken tenders in Chicago fire and the onion rings to be outstanding. While the Wild wild west burger was a tad too dry, the Numero Uno pizza wasn't as meaty as I expected.
We ordered the Uno Deep Dish Sundae for dessert. While the freshly baked cookie was nice, the miserly proportion of a dollop of icecream and even less whipped cream was appalling.
The food takes a while to arrive and that's something the team can work on.

The place has good ambience. Lot of people come here for their specialty deep dish pizzas. Over time, I have had Fajita Fire, BBQ Mushroom & the Meat Market. Sad to say that other than the Fajita Fire, all of them have been a disappointment. Even then, the quantity of the food is to be appreciated and it provides plenty of bang for the bucks for the price. They have 1+1 offers on food on certain days, so be sure to check them out before you order. Would also like to commend the services of Mr.Chiranjeet, he was eager on serving us. Everytime he sees us trying to serve ourselves, he runs over to help us out and serve the food for us. Definitely, a place worth visiting. They have open seats too which I usually prefer.

Great wings, pull apart garlic bread, deep dish Chicago pizzas- "their signature", thin crust pizzas and a lot more...The beers, cocktails and drinks too quite pleasant. Uno Chicago Grill completed 1 year in Bangalore and went on their anniversary. As usual we ordered Barbeque Roasted Mushroom Deep Dish Pizza and Spaghetti Aglio E Olio. Both the dishes were tasty and nice.

This place apparently is famous for its Deep dish pizza that originated in Chicago , very interesting and intriguing cause I’ve never taste this dish before.
To start with, the ambience is on point and they even have an outdoor sitting, not to forget this place is located in a mall. The staff are very welcoming and the person who waits for our table was very kind and he makes sure that we have a good experience with the food and service and he even suggests some amazing dish for us to try which turns out well. The manager and chef are kind enough to greet us.
For starters, I started with The Greek town salad which was refreshing, followed by Chicken tender which was scrumptious. Must try the Rock Prawns dynamite cause it’s so good and no one can eat just one! I love the deep dish pizza cause it taste like a pizza but looks like a pie cause of the thickness. I’m definitely going back for more pizzas. The Grill lemon basil Salmon was cooked to perfection and I love the sides that came along with it. The mocktail are very refreshing too.
The Uno deep dish Sundae is a must try cause the chocolate chip cookies with Vanilla is to die for. Love everything about this place and can’t wait to go back.

Uno Chicago are the pioneers and inventors of Deep Dish Pizzas all around the world, so it was natural that when they opened up in Bangalore, It was obvious I had to visit them to try out these amazing pizzas!
They take 24 hours to prepare their pizza dough and that’s how the process takes more than a day to prepare the pizzas you order!
Uno Chicago servers some amazing drinks too!
Coming to the food -
I liked the blazing hot deep dish pizza, overloaded with cheese, base of around 2 inches thick and the rich taste of tomato sauce and the cheese.
The Rattlesnake fettuccine was delectable! Kind of on the bland side but that’s how the ideal fettuccine should be right?
The Pina colada and the peanut butter shake were refreshing too! The peanut butter shake was adequately thick, I could sense the peanut butter flavour distinctly, full of flavour! Do give these two drinks a try!
The best part apart from the deep dish pizzas was the Uno Deep Dish Sundae Dessert! One of the best desserts I have had. This dessert has a chocolate chip cookie but not a regular sized one but a giant one which is freshly baked in a deep dish pan and with vanilla ice cream on top! And that is not all! Chocolate sauce to top it off! This dessert was a delight to have, I didn’t just stop at 1, but had two! Do give it a try while you are at Uno Chicago, or might just go for having the dessert alone!
The staff at Uno Chicago are very friendly and courteous, have a good understanding of the menu, thus, making the ordering process easier!
The services are moderately fast, I visited when it was 75% full!
The ambience at Uno Chicago is pretty amazing, with three types of seating, the music is good and the place has amazing decor! They also have a performance booth!
The cost at this place pretty decent for the amount of effort that goes behind the pizza, the ingredients they put in and the product they are serving, but it will be steep on the pocket!
Located in the new hip mall in the upper ground floor of Whitefield, Prestige Shantiniketan, the place is easily accessible.

An amazing place with good ambience and polite service. It doesn’t feel like India, this place. Genuinely reminds my of the time I had in Chicago. Must go place if you’ve ever been to the states or wish to get a feel of the states here in India. Ordered a pizza, a salad and a bottomless coke. Was one of the best meals I had in my life.

One of the places I was very interested to try in Whitefield was Uno Chicago Bar & Grill. It is situated in Forum Shantiniketan Mall, away from the hustle and bustle of the Bengaluru city. Uno has been very popular since decades for their authentic Chicago style deep dish pizzas.
Coming to the ambiance, the place looks very neat and classy with comfy sofas and chairs.
Furthermore, the bar also looks quite beautiful.
The service experience was quite good as well. The staff members were very courteous and briefed us about every dish in detail. They not only were available for our help almost all the time, but also brought the dishes to our table very quickly.
Now, the last and the most important factor- FOOD. Well, trust me when I say this. You gotta try this place for their food if not for the ambiance and the service. We tried numerous dishes and beverages over here and we liked all of them. Some of my favourites were Prawn Scampi, Spicy Chicken Dip, Mozarella Sticks, Dynamite Prawns, Farmer's Market Deep Dish Pizza, Raspberry Lime Ricky etc.
Overall, it was a great experience! Kudos to the manager as well for the wonderful service.

Have you ever tried deepdish pizza in Bengaluru? If you haven't, this is a place to try. Uno Chicago bar became the very first restaurant in Bengaluru to serve Chicago style deep dish pizza. This place is located in forum shantiniketan mall and quite accessible to the folks around Whitefield.
They have pretty good seating capacity with live music and band performance. The staff are very polite and quick in service. So here is what I have tried there
👉Berry berry palmer :
A refreshing mocktail prepared with strawberry puree. It has adequate amount of strawberry puree with fizz.
👉Spicy chicken dip :
Though the name says it's spicy, it isn't. Chicken creamy chicken gravy served with bread. I would say it's one of the best chicken dips till date. Flavours of cheese and chicken are well balanced.
👉Fajita fire :
Here comes our deep dish pizza with grilled chicken. I enjoyed eating every bite of it. The pizza has sufficient amount of cheese grilled chicken, tomatoes and jalapeños. Chicken was grilled to perfection and scrumptious in taste. This is a must try.
👉Spinach cottage cheese steak :
Some how I wasn't impressed by this dish in terms of presentation and taste. For me it looked like lasagna
and tender paneer was placed on the bed of ratatouille. It tasted good but could be improved.
👉Grilled chicken burger :
Here grilled chicken burger is served in a different way. Instead bun the used bread to stuff the burger. The chicken is cooked to perfection with sufficient amount of BBQ sauce and tasted delectable. The portions are very much filling.
👉Uno deep dish sundae :
Yet another delicacy which blewed my mind with its intense flavour. A big cookie was baked in deep dish and served with vanilla sundae. Unique combination bit tasty.
Definitely, a visit worthy place to try deep dish pizza. Pricing is a bit on expensive side but dishes are worth trying.

Located in the Upper ground floor of Forum Shantiniketan Mall, Uno Chicago Bar and Grill is a new outlet in this country serving deep dish pizzas for the first time.
The first person to start the concept of deep dish pizza was Ike Sewell and it used to take him around 60-90 minutes to cook. This dish got so famous that people started asking for franchise outside Chicago which he first allowed in 1975! Also with time and change in technology, the time span for cooking came down quite a lot.
I visited this place on a Monday with a friend to try out the same and the place was decently crowded.
We started with a chicken dip which had numerous crumbs of chicken and was served with crispy breads. Next we ordered for a small non-vegetarian platter which had parts of chicken wings (had a bit too much barbeque sauce over it), chicken tenders and loaded cheesy chicken fries.
Then we had had the thing we were here for, the Fajita Fire Deep Dish Pizza which we asked a smaller portion of as we were quite full, although you can order a bigger one too. I just loved this concept of pizza but it was a bit too much of tomatoes🍕.
Finally we had our dessert, the deep dish sundae which was a baked choco chip cookie topped with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce.😋

A fine dine restaurant with Chicago theme decor having indoor and outdoor sitting space is a perfect place for a weekday dinner or a weekend lunch with your group. The staff is humble and give an on-time service despite the huge crowd at the place.
Being mocktail lovers, we ordered Berry Berry Palmer and Uno Pina Colada. Pina colada had a calm subtle flavour of coconut in it with refreshing hints of pineapple juice. Berry berry one had strawberry and respberry puree with brewed tea and lemon. Combination of tea with berries was something unique and delicious.
Garlic bread with Spinach and Artichoke Dip was our first choice of appetizers and it was just amazing. Every bite entice you to take another. The dip is full of flavours your taste buds are going to love. To try more things we went with "This That and The Other thing Sampler" which had
Classic Onion Rings , Wild Mushroom Chipotle Poppers and Loaded Cheesy Fries. Classic Onion Rings were crunchy and delicious. Mushrooms were quite average and to all the French fries lovers, cheesy fries is a must.

Deep Dish Pizza in your meal. We tried Farmer's Market which had Basil Pesto base sauce and was loaded with healthy toppings like spinach and eggplant with loads of feta cheese. The pizza is unique in texture and preparation methods. The edges are kept high and crunchy in taste.The moment you eat it, you will know the difference from regular pizzas we eat. In desserts we had
Triple chocolate brownie Sundae which had gooey hot chocolate over brownie with vanilla ice cream and was a perfect end to the meal.
It is a new restaurant inside a new mall (Forum Shantiniketan) in the town. The best things about this place are food, service and ambience. The staff are very hospitable and try to take care of all your requests and needs. They don’t serve alcohol yet and the mocktails are not that great. We tried pinacolada which was too sweet. Apart from the drink, rest everything was just amazing. Loved the veg pizza and the appetisers which we had ( classic onion rings, Parmesan and mozzarella fries, fish & chips). Ambience gives a classic feel of American pub and loved their graffiti art. One of wall was used to depict their journey which was beautiful.

This place is definitely my numero UNO, a place specialised in deep dish pizza’s. Yes, they make DEEP DISH PIZZA’s. A wide variety menu and a live bar, they have pasta’s, pizzas, burgers, salad and a lot more.
I recently visited UNO for my dad’s birthday and Mr Suhail served us and took care of our table. We had the pull apart cheese garlic bread with was mouth watering. The bread was so soft and buttery, baked to perfection.
We tried two Deep dish pizzas The Blazing Hot and Fajita Fire one being veg and the other one chicken. Absolutely relished both of them.
Our server Mr Suhail made the special occasion, extra special by the service he provided. He kept checking on us and making sure we were comfortable.
They got us a brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce on the house because it was my dad’s birthday. All the servers of UNO also got together to wish my dad with their version of Happy Birthday. Thank you Uno. Please open an other outlet soon?

A pleasant Saturday lunch at “UNO Chicago”, today. I liked the ambience of the place depicting both the places Chicago and Bangalore. It was an unique experience to try deep dish pizzas at this place where it was invented.
UNO Chicago is unique in terms of their menu as it included some dishes, such as burgers, steaks and many more.
We started our meal with garlic bread and spinach dip. The spinach dip was fresh and flavourful, I couldn’t stop eating it. This was followed by their deep dish pizza with egg plant topping, it was good and had thick circumference.
Cottage cheese steak was out of the world. It was followed by burger, patty was juicy and bun was fresh. Fries served along with the burger were baked and was made in house from scratch.
I was impressed with their signature dessert “UNO Deep Dish Sundae” as it had freshly baked giant chocolate chip cookie.
The courteous staff extended a warm welcome for us. Ria was our host for the day, she served us even before we reached out for anything.
To sum up, one should never miss visiting this place to enjoy amazing American style pizzas.
Value for money, in the sense would deliver quality and taste apt for the paid amount. Would definitely try out the deep dish pizza over here, it's their signature dish and kinda heavy. One pizza can be shared by 2 persons.

A 1943 established restuarant of Chicago in Namma Bengaluru. Deep Dish Pizzas was first introduced in 1943 in Chicago and UNO is the reason for it. As the name indicates, Deep Dish Pizzas are baked in a deep dish with the centre concentrating on Cheese. The ends of the pizza are a bit etched up because of the dish. For every pizza, the dough has to be made fresh. UNO's signatures are Grill and Deep Dish Pizzas.
Here, I tasted three different Pizzas, the Farmer's Market is one where it is filled with eggplants and other veggies with the base being Pesto, it was one of a kind and utterly delicious with huge amounts of cheese.
The Mushroom Barbeque pizza is where mushrooms are barbequed seperately and then barbeque sauce is used with Mozarella and caramelized onions, hence this can be on a slightly sweeter side.
Fajita Fire is where a Mexican grilled chicken is used as a topping with peppers and Jalapenos. Why is it a no to meat on pizza with lots of fire.
The Chicken Dip here is amazing, rich in cream and Italian herbs served with small slices of Garlic bread. This was a fantastic combo.
Here, I also found a section called This or that, small portions of three appetisers are served on a platter. It's worth for one's who choose the small platter and wide taste and it also comes with three kinds of dips.
For Dessert, my recommendation is the Deep dish Sundae, where a deep dish base is topped with icecream.
