Visited this place on a weekend afternoon along with my friend. This one is situated just on the Cunningham road and easy to find, although parking of 4 wheeler will be a problem.
Very expansive place with a large seating area.
Not much of crowd so we got a seat instantly.
Service was little slow and we had to ask for the menu couple of times before the order was taken.
We ordered the chicken biriyani, ghee rice and chicken ghee roast.
Biriyani was very well prepared with right mix of masala and well cooked chicken chunks. Ghee rice was also nice although the chicken ghee roast was a bit of disappointment. The portion quantity is on the higher side and easily will fill ones appetite.
Would definitely revisit again to try other dishes.
Don’t know why people have rated this outlet very badly, but I will recommend and surely revisit again.
Absolute taste, we had chicken biriyani and ghee rise... fantastic .. dont go by zomoto rating .. just go and enjoy real dum biriyani.. perfect spice...

I would never say No to Rahams biriyani!
Was in the area and the hubby wanted to have lunch here. The place was quite empty which was a surprise but being a Monday I guess everyone's was bust at work.
We were greeted by an enthusiastic gentleman who also took our order of Mutton Biriyani and Sholay Kebab. The biriyani as usual was excellent and luckily enough the Sholay Kebab was not spicy.
Parking is available a little down the road but on weekends it can get a bit difficult.
Rahhams is one popular name i heard famous for biryanis. I visited this place two times tried chicken and mutton, its tasty with its unique flavor and taste. Also tried ghee chicken roast, it was not very special but good. This is the only spot in bangalore where you get veg meals as well as enquired. Need to improve service part. Next time i want to try veg meals here.
Best ever veg biryani I had in Bangalore. Mutton chops and Phadi kebab are must try. Very unique and pure in taste. Biriyanis, I don't need to review it since everyone in Bangalore knows about it. Good staff service also. Only con is too much oil in every item.
It's not a very happening place to dine out though they have ample space. Their chicken biriyani is really good. I mean the aroma takes you right back to the times when mom used to cook biriyani.
The manchow chicken soup is good.
The place is quite near to our office & so we went on a saturday afternoon for lunch on someones recommendation.. We ordered mutton chaap in starters & mutton biryani in main course.. The chaap was just horrible, was burnt & oily..Very bad experience with the starter but the Mutton Biriyani was really good both in terms of taste & quantity.
The service was real quick which made the biriyani experience even more delightful.. They offered us "Firni" as complimentary Dessert to us which was really nice.. One must try their Mutton Biryani for sure..

Have to admit that I got some delicious food at this place eventhough I didn't technically get what I ordered. I ordered a chapathi but what I got was a Paratha instead. Nevertheless it was still delicious. The paneer gravy these guys offer with pretty much all their dishes was absolutely the best. I've never got such a generous helping of paneer that too for such a reasonable price. So a shout-out to all the paneer lovers out there. I found the ambiance quite enjoyable in the outdoor seating although some of the health freaks out there may complain about pollution. Not to worry, these guys offer indoor seating as well. The service as well was quite quick.
the food was amzing and the quantity they serve is like huge. group of friends can come and hang out here . nice place to eat and chill
quite worthy
Good quality food at a reasonable price. Great place for catching a quick lunch for the people working on Cunningham road. Fast service provided. The outdoor seating located in the beautiful Cunningham road of Bangalore let's you enjoy a lovely meal with a great ambience at a very reasonable price.
The Masala dosa and breakfast menu is very good. I had better chats than this. So, if you are hungry and want to grab some substantial amount of food on the traffic side, then enter this place.
Its a busy outlet with people buying out biryani, veg and non-veg both are available. Meals are also available. Mostly are people come from nearby offices. Forget to tell, no parking available, so plan accordingly. It is under rennovation so only a partly open area outside is there for seating, this a week ago.

Good place for chicken lovers. Biriyani and other andhra dishes were quite tasty. Service is not good...they took a very long time to bring the food.
Went with a couple of friends to Rahhams last week, we loved it! We ordered the Andhra and Kadai Chicken with Jeera Rice. The Andhra Chicken curry was exquisite, tasted so different. Definitely one of a kind. We were hopelessly belting it down. The curry was thick and succulent. Felt like a home-cooked meal. Quantity is really good at Rahhams, they are not stingy on the plate. They cook well and serve in generous amounts. Good place for brunch.
Amazing Biriyani , just perfect it is like the Muslim biriyani ! 😋 the kababs are good , the restaurant is always packed it is a good thing but we get seats really quick as well so no problem of waiting

After hearing rave reviews of the place, we were very excited and took the first opportunity to go to Rahhams . Located close to the Indian Express Circle, the place is decently spacious.
We intended on ordering the Pahadi kebab, which is supposed to be their speciality but unfortunately it was not available at that time. A bit disappointed, we chose their biryani.
A fast service, the biryani arrived in minutes with the aroma of the spices tingling the senses and making us salivate. The biryani is distinct and is of the kachhi gosht variety. The meat was coming of the bone and the spicy masala just played havoc with the taste buds.
Their salan is quite different too from the ones I am used to in Hyderabad and had a lush tomato taste which I quite enjoyed. They however have to work on their bill clearance. It took them half an hour (actually timed it) for them to give us the bill and that too when it contained just the two biryanis.
The delicious meal and the craving for Pahadi kebab will surely draw me back to this place..
Cost for 2 - Rs 400/-
I always wanted to visit rahhams, since its inception into the brilliant biryanis list. Located on Cunningham road its quite easy to spot, parking though may be a tad tough to find.
We entered to find the place literally deserted (surprisingly). The ambience is quite good with spacious seating arrangements.
We ordered pepper chicken and the house special pahadi kebab. The part pepper chicken was epic, the pahadi kebab had an interesting flavour, was something new,but was nevertheless quite good. Then we ordered chicken and mutton biryani. The chicken and mutton were cooked to perfection. The flavour of the biryani was quite subtle with not much heat, typical of theses kinds of joints.
To be honest , had high expectations and though food and the biryani was good,it wasn't great or something u can't get enough of.
The only thing which i did not like about this place is its location. A muddy, conjusted and dusty location because of road repair. Parking is another major problem.
Food is really tasty and reasonably priced. Biriyani is again my most liked item here. Kebabs are also not so bad.
Ambience and service at this place is above average.
Biryani and pahadi kabab are the signature dishes in this restaurant chain... Great taste and a decent ambience...a place to visit quite often for lunch

My boyfriend and I absolutely love this place. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the food is always delicious.
My only downer is I am rubbish at spicy food and we always ask for extra mild! sometime it comes out perfect and eatable, but there has been one or two times where it has just been to spicy for me and I end up not being able to enjoy it. And there is never any toilet paper in the ladies. But apart from that we love that place!
A good place to have food. And the taste of the food is mouth watering and the service is very remarkable. The waiters are well trained and very polite .
Gud stuff folks!! Chicken biryani-Not too oily and the right amount of spices ..enjoyed the chicken tikka was succulent and had a nice smoky charcoal flavour . Ended the meal with the famous muzaffar kheer served in miniature bowls.
If you are nearby to this restaurant and if you are feeling like having a biriyani for your meal, step in to this place straight away.
Last weekend, after our visit to Planetarium, when I searched "near by" in Zomato app, this restaurant name came up, and we decided on it immediately.
Right on the busy Cunningham Road, this place has a large presence there. This place has a fairly large yet clean dining area with sitting arrangement for more than 100 people.
The waiter came up for order even before giving a menu, mentioning that at lunch time, biriyani was what most people ordered. We ordered 2 mutton biriyanis, and then we had been greedy enough to order a half portion of chicken reshmi kebab.
Mutton biriyanis were excellent. I really can not say, which regional style it adhered to, but it was in proximity to Lucknow style. Those bowls appeared with a fascinating aroma of spices in ghee. Rice grains were indeed soaked in ghee. And the couple of mutton pieces inside was so well cooked, it became too soft. That biriyani was an absolute brilliant.
Reshmi kebab on the other hand, was a big disappointment. Chicken pieces were not soft at all and lack of marination was felt at once.
In my opinion, ordering anything other than biriyani involves a considerable amount of risk. Even the waiter, was not very enthusiastic about anything else.
But, considering their brand name, and their location and appearance, they must work on the service. Waiters here are not very polite, neither they are prompt.
Overall, if we keep the service part aside, and focus only on Biryani, this is truly a place to visit frequently.
after a tough evening when look forward for a biriyani for ur taste buds u wud definitely want to check in on rahamms...its las vegasly lit on cunningham road...coming to the Biriyani part...v did get ours a bit late but it was fresh n hot...definitely one of best in town...the ambience is gud n the service is nice but the cost i hope it is fair be on a higher side for the quality n the quantity too...dont forget to try the dum biriyani :)
I must say biryani taste different unlike any other restaurant. Natti chicken masala was also very good. Only problem is parking. Its terrible due to road dug up.
A must try biryani!Nothing more needed to be said.Good service + good biryani = satisfied customer.
Tasty Mutton biryani, nice flavor, tender mutton pieces, bit oily though.
I usually visit this place with large groups as it totally worth the money. Our regular order is the Mutton Biryani which is extremely tender served along with Raitha and Delicious kheer.I have tried the chicken biryani as well and tats also delicious. For starters we usually do the kebabs.
Also for vegetarians, they have a buffet lunch which is priced around Rs 200 which includes soup, roti sabzi, one starter,
salad ,rice and dessert.
Mutton biryoni is delicious!!
Visited the place twice and the mutton biryani tasted exactly the same both times ! Very nice . The biryani here is done with the smaller rice variety and has distinctly different taste to the Hyderabadi biryani . The mutton chops dry is a must have . Succulent and very tasty . Tried the pahadi chicken and was disappointed . A bit salty and did not live up to the recommendation of the waiter .
The mutton biryani and mutton chops are excellent and would be just enough as a meal for 2.
Brilliant food.
Must haves : andhra chili chicken
In my books i rate this place No.1 for Mutton Biryani. This is pretty greasy, mutton extremely tender and succulent. If you are a spicy biryani lover you wouldn't like the richies biryani.
Another thing that is really famous in this restaurant is the curry leaf chicken-a must try dish.
I have been frequenting the richies on mosque road now the cunningham road outlet. The taste is pretty consistent and definitely worth a vist.
We had been hearing of this very old Bangalore "brand" for a while now but never had a chance to try them out. Then on a visit to 'Hands of India" (a beautiful clothing exhibition) chanced upon this outlet on Cunningham Road. Almost hidden among newer and more colorful signage, the Raham's logo is in serious need of redesign. Went in to be transported immediately to old Bombay favorites such as Noorani's (Haji Ali)-- the same ambience, the same aromas.
Being a Biryani place, obviously that was the default order. Also got the Mutton Chops (first time every). Wanted to try their Shawarma Rolls and Appam with Chicken Curry also, but they serve those only for dinner. Thank God, as the food is very filling and it would have been too much to eat. The order was served quickly, and we were done with our meal within 30 minutes. The mutton was melt-in-mouth soft, both in Biryani and (to a lesser extent) in the chops. The food was very flavorful, without being so spicy it hurt. "Spicy" as in full of spices, but not just chillis!! They ended by serving us a tiny, complimentary bowl of Kheer - very well made and just a hint of sweet, the way it should be.
The seating is spacious and comfortable. The service is efficient and no-nonsense. The bathrooms are clean, though in need of repair. Pricing is fantastically reasonable - meal for two in under Rs.400!
