We ordered Kafe Mocha, Kappucino and blueberry muffins. The coffee was really good but the blueberry muffin was even better!
If you are at Royal meenakshi mall and want to have a cup of filter coffee then yes this is the place to go .. You can preimum kapi or kappi nirvana .. bit costly but compared to other options its ok ..
Went here on a Sunday evening. Been here many times but was surprised to see the prices being increased.
They hv increased the range of their coffees as well as savouries along with them. I would say that the coffee is slightly over priced but still doesn't burn a hole in your pocket.
Taste wise you get authentic tastes. The various variety you can check in the pics uploaded.
Was at royal meenakshi mall and was very exhausted with the shopping....needed a caffeine fix......asked for a simple filter coffee was provided a cofe arabicia premium coffee.....though it tasted great i thought 110 rupees for a glass was a bit too pricey
Peaceful place to chill out with a cup of hot home feel coffee. Polite staffs and good service. I love their Kaapi Samrat served in Brass dabara set. They do have good options to munch with coffee.
Decent place to get yourself a soothing coffee. This one at Meenakshi is a tiny place. You can order yourself a few munchies to go along with the coffee. Service is good. Staff is friendly. Do try it out ! ✌️
A small place in the mall if you want to grab a cup of coffee and relax!! The ambiance is fine and the staffs are friendly, order at the counter and they will serve you. The menu is perfect for a little coffee corner and I like their cold coffee!!
When it comes to filter coffee kalmane koffees is one of my favourites! I like the cookies as well. Try their masala, mochalicious and kapi mocha if you want to try coffee with a twist.

During my stay at Bangalore, I frequently visited Meenakshi Mall. Kalmane Koffees was on my list because of the beautiful coffee aroma! This place is really cozy. Though you may not find lot of seating options, they have managed well to fit the seats in limited area.
I tried their Kol Koffee Mocha and Chocolate Brownie. Brownie was just like any other brownie. I didn't find any wow factor in it. It was a bit sticky inside the mouth. I think having brownie alone is not a great idea due to it's stickiness. Kol Koffee Mocha smelled so aromatic! It was topped with chocolate powder. It tasted absolutely fine. Not best cold coffees I had. But definitely thumbs up for the filtered coffee taste.
For me, Chocolate brownie paired with Kol Koffee inside my mouth was too delicious! They went so well with one another! The hot and cold combination worked!
P.S. They accept FreeCharge & PayTm! What a relief to find out the only food joint accepting them at Meenakshi Mall!
I had been here when I saw that they have the traditional south indian coffee. I had ordered tge mocha which was pretty great. The pricing is a litrle high due to tge location but its a nice reminder if you have been in south of how the coffees are served.
Very very regular here. Usually consistent, the banana walnut cakes and ginger cookies though good slightly on the pricer side. Great place for coffee pack gifters. No no m not a cold coffee guy, I look down upon that thing.
Nice place to have authentic filter coffee..... Tried the kappe premium and my friend had bluegrass one which is on the smoother side..... had lots of cookies as well but can't comment on them as didn't try those.... gud place to get Ur daily dose of caffeine fix in a pocket friwndly price.... Hubby really likes the coffee here, i m not a big fan of coffee.. Our regular favourites are kappi mocha and kappi premium.. One of the best things about kalmane is the taste is same across all the outlets .. A nice place to try some authentic coffee...
Must visit for coffee lovers..although it's a bit expensive maybe cz it's in the mall, awesome coffee served..you can choose the flavour u like..banana cake and vanilla, blueberry muffins served with coffee are great combination with ur hot cup of coffee..
As good as the other Kalmane outlets and also as cramped for space as the other ones. The blue grass is definitely a must try, the service is fast and efficient in accordance with the restricted seating space available.
I am not sure why haven't I tried this place before. It's located in the shopping mall I frequent the most. Ambience not so great but due to less crowd and big sofas one can chill out. We ordered Kol Koffee Mochalicious which was okay. Blueberry Muffin & Brownie was yummy. Fresh, soft & really good. 350/- in total. Totally worth it.
Short and sweet is what I prefer to hail this place.. Fine coffee in south Indian and expresso style.
So I ordered a café mocha and a blueberry muffin.. Both were really fillers for then. Need to try some kaapis next time.. The steel tumblers were really nostalgic... Good adda ...
I ordered one Blue Grass coffee and it was simply amazing. Had a very tiresome day and this coffee was very relaxing. Loved its essence too. Ordered one chocolate muffin and a brownie to go with it. Loved the muffin. Affordable price with amazing taste. Would definitely recommend this place.
Woow as everyone said .. It is really woow moment when u take a sip at kalmani with their fresh Brew for coffee, chicory and other flavors to it.
The one I crave for is the cinnamon coffee and cinnamon and cardamom coffee .. They are just out of the world .. That's a nice blend of some masala and proper masala to it..
Don't expect a lot out of the cafe, they have a very normal looking ambience, simple but more than enough as u will foget everything after u sip the 1sy lip of it ..
Jus to crack some time when ur not on coffee try their banana muffins and brownies.. They are good as well .. Not to complain but good ..

Wow is what I felt when I took the first sip. I was so God damn tired with lack of sleep and extremely annoyed with the way things were going. Decided to have one strong coffee instead of going to other regular joints. True to the guest word, Coffee was awesome. I tried the premium kaapi with blueberry muffins. I suggest you keep the muffins aside, not because of the taste but it because it may mix the taste of coffee and you may not enjoy the true essence of the "Kaapi".
This place has wonderful filter coffees. Casual hangout place for coffee lovers. We had kaapi cino and kaapi mocha. Both of them awesome and aromatic. Kaapi mocha is my favourite because of its chocolaty flavour.
See, the problem with CCD is that they serve coffee luke warm and that it tastes like milk with bournvita. We Indians want our coffees to kick us in the face and shake us awake.
Hence, kalmane coffee.... If you want a creamier and lighter coffee, go for kaappi samrat. If you want a strong one, then kappi premium. The muffins are dry, but the chocolate-walnut brownie is delicious. But the surprise element here are the banana chips, which are crisp, spicy and addictive.
The ambience is decent and the staff is helpful.
Overall,... Expect a chilled out time
They get a 3.5 for cramped and uncomfortable seating. Rest is a solid 4.
I go to the mall this cafe is in, only to buy the coffee. Love Samrat, Neyani Gold and Masala coffees. Good part - they have take away cups. South Indian coffee should taste like theirs. I'd rate Kalmane's south indian coffee better than Starbucks (anyday!) and Coffee day.

The coffee here is a lot better than the CCD ! Traditional essence mingled with the right amount of ambience makes me go back to this place time and again ! The cakes are good . Fairly overpriced :P
Half the time the staff served me either something I din't order or a cold coffee but were courteous enough to replace it.
Expensive but one of the best filter coffees In the city. I love pea berry filter coffee here! outlet is small and very congested, I would love if there was much more space to sit and enjoy the coffee for a longer time.

The place desperately needs change of furniture, Seating arrangement needs to be changed. Gotta make space a bit cramped up.
Now the coffee and snacks,
Great coffee, First off the Kol koffee mochalicious- strong flavoured cold coffee, a vicious one.
Next up Kol koffee mocha gelato - smoother than mochalicious, more soothing , like a milk shake.
Now the Pea Berry koffee- really distinguished flavour than ordinary coffee , but really can't define it.
Ginger cookie- Buttery but lacked the flavour.
Almond Biscotti - Right amount of sweetness and crunch to it melts in our mouth

If your looking for that strong dose of caffeine with that little bit of sweetness, look no further this is the place. Kalmane koffees serves the best coffee in Bangalore. It gives the big runners like cafe coffee day a run for their money. It isn't one of those fancy looking places but its descent enough to sit down, relax and enjoy that cup of brilliant coffee that they serve you.
Samrat is something you must try.
Whenever I visit Meenakshi mall I visit Kalmane like a temple. Well, I don't give damn about Cold Coffees as 'the real test of a coffee shop is it's black coffee.' Kalmane is often eclipsed by other big giants but for me it is the pioneer. The taste, aroma and flavours are just perfect. I advice to have your coffee with a piece of their wonderful brownie. Although the brownies are not constant in taste, you may hit the spot if you are lucky. Price is reasonable, 50 to 60 bucks for a hot coffee is good.
Its a small outlet in The Forum Mall...the coffees are awesome. My favourite is the Kaapi Supreme. ...pure filter coffee. The aroma and taste is brilliant. I have tried the Chicken Quiche which is just about ok. They serve muffins and brownies as well. But go there only for the coffees.
They dont serve ketchup with the quiche and staff courtesy needs improvement.
Traditional south indian filter coffee is provided here... The aroma is very strongly attractive to a coffee lovers though... This is the best coffee i have ever had anywhere.. these coffee beans have been extracted from chickmangalore forest region.. Which famous for coffee estates..
An evening with coffee at Kalamane along with muffin on the side. Simple tip to renew vigor and refresh yourself for the rest of the day. The coffee is flavourful and served in a traditional way which adds to the whole experience. The seating as well is basic and suited to enable you have long conversations over the coffee. Its self service and your order is ready without much delay. Recommended!

Whenever I visit Meenakshi Mall Kalmane is a mandatory pit stop. Be it with friends or family everyone around me seem to Kalmane Koffees a lot. All of them like Bule Grass (fishy name for a coffee huh ;)) that's what I thought. I tried once to see what the whole big deal was about but I am no big coffee fan to judge one over the other so they all seem the same to me.
They serve their coffees in the traditional style, coffee in a big tumbler which placed in a small cup. If you have read any RK Narayan's books it would seem like its taken straight out of the book. I like their cold coffees though. They are nice n neat, no fuss. I have even tried their muffins and brownies, they are okay not too great.
Kalmane Koffee is known among all coffee lovers for their pure and simple no fuss coffee experience. And if you are a coffee lover yourself then don't forget to try their legendary Blue Grass.
I was a little skeptical about trying there coffee but I was not disappointed.
We ordered samrat kaapi, masala kaapi and cold coffee.
Masala kapi was having a heavy dose of cinnamon which was overpowering the taste of coffee. I didn't like it much.
Kaapi samrat was really refreshing. perfect blend and aroma. A must try.
Cold coffee was also good but the cream used was not of good quality. It was thick n greasy.
I prefer whipped cream to be light and fluffy.
I would recommend samrat kaapi there. They have cakes and small tit bits which I still need to try.

They are good value for money in terms of the coffees served, the costs and the taste and flavour. An average coffee is well brewed and the taste very much true to good coffee - they claim to use their own mixture of a particular brew [beans]. The specialised coffees is very reasonable..
I just love this place, its a no fuss, simple, honest place which serves excellent coffee.
I have sampled almost their entire menu, whether its their hot coffees or their cold coffees and ice-cream shakes...everything is priced very reasonably and is very well prepared. Their muffins are also good, not a big fan of their savory options though.
They serve filter coffee in small steel glasses and is fun to have. The seating is cozy and the ambiance is not stiff like other coffee houses...very breezy and relaxing.
Highly recommended for a quick drink or bite!

Excellent filter coffee. 4 to 5 varieties of filter coffee available. They sell mamy varieties of coffee powders. They also have snacks and bakery items like puff, rolls etc. The service is excellent and quick. Plenty of chairs and maintained well. Overall great experience.
This one is a very small cafe in Meenakshi Mall . They have amazing coffe and there nippat is very fresh and crisp.
My most favourite coffee shop chain. Probably the only chain with different flavours of Indian coffee. I've tried all of them, and love all of them :D
Other standard options like Cappuccino, Latte, Espresso, etc are available as well, but I've never tried them.
They also have nice muffins and cookies. Must try if you're in Meenakshi mall.
Traditional Filter Coffee at it's best , I regularly buy pea berry premium coffee powder medium roast since last may be 5 years not found a substitute as yet. Priced at is 1260/- a kilo is three times the rest. But its worth it.
