I've always been a fan of both cakes and ice creams, coming across their ice cream pizza which is basically a sponge cake topped with an even layer of ice cream finsihed with some jelly cubes on top - it's truly a delightful! Other than that, the hot chocolate fudge is absolutely loaded with goodness that makes it even better. The outlet is small, cozy and the staff is very welcoming. Good hygiene is maintained as well.
If you love desserts then this must be your next go to destination and I have ordered from this place called Polar Bear. We have ordered Gudbud and Hot Chocolate Fudge on weekend and It was a home delivery order. Talking about the taste of the Gudbud is amazing and delicious and their Hot Chocolate Fudge was yummy & mouth watering.

Even though I have been trying them since ages I keep visiting their outlets to try something new every time,this time I tried their Chilli gauva sorbet which was so good 👌🏼 literally felt like having a Gauva Fruit with some chilli powder on top of it 😍
You can try their Roasted paneer sandwich which is excellent 👌🏼 even though the masala wasn't prepared freshly,it tasted really good.

My very first visit to Polar bear and ordered for cold coffee., coasted me Rs. 135 inclusive of tax. It's worth it. Decent seating, have the facility of wash room(area of concern.. Need to work on tis)
The coffee powder sprinkled on top of the cream gave me a kick. Coffee is thick and reasonable too. This is definitely would be my favourite drink from Polar bear.

It is located in lane right opposite to Sai baba temple , quite vibrant place to take kids or go out and have a quick desert . Menu has huge variety of sundaes to choose from . Death by chocolate is a popular one of all , however the quality and taste of brownies can be improved as it is too dry . Quantity is filling . They do have 2 flavours ( vanilla and strawberry ) of sugar free ice cream for all the diet conscious folks , it is a great alternative as it tastes very much similar to their regular ice cream.
Must try : Death by chocolate , Red velvet sundae , Natural flavours - tender coconut is yum ,
Dry fruit sundae - the combination of dry fruits with ice cream is just delicious .
But overall the quality and taste is great .

I visit this place almost every weekend. This is one of my most favourite icecream place. Choco lava fudge and death by chocolate are must try here. Adding to it, sandwiches are the most delicious.
Had ordered for home delivery once and was very impressed with the packaging and timely delivery though it was late and far from the place I ordered from. Taste was apt and quantity was just right.
Ordered the Choco Lava Fudge. The whole thing was perfect, for a person with a sweet tooth like me.

The death by chocolate is to die for ! It comes with a chocolate sauce. The nuts and brownie together will make you surely Never want to stop eating it. It's a bit expensive. Only if they could increase the quantity a bit so that it could serve two people properly !
Best place to have ice creams and desserts which is wonderful in taste and different flavors which satisfies our taste buds. I had death by chocolate,brownie fudge and many other desserts. We also get sandwiches there but I still didn't taste that, and we also have milk shakes there. Prices are bit high when compared to normal ice cream parlors but it's worth it.

Wow! Best presentation i would say. I just loved the way they presented the creamy icecream in form of bear. I'm always fascinated towards such presentation. And it was the first time icecream being presentes in this way. I just loved it. The staff was friendly and service was good.

Wonderful place to be if you love a variety of ice creams. Not to forget the fact that you can actually mismash the combo for your liking. Particularly the 7 wonders combo. Worth the money and time. Good for an evening outing with a group and I'm sure you won't be disappointed in their offerings. Those with a sweet tooth must try this place. 4/5 for it's offerings, -1 for their service standards.
Recently went here for dessert at night, as soon as you enter the place you will love the sitting game plan and furthermore the insides as well..descent vibe and there costs are justified, despite all the trouble. "Chocozilla" ,"Black magic" & "Death by chocolate" is a must try!!!

I would run to polar bear on any given day if I crave for chocolate.
Death by chocolate needs no introduction and it’s always been my No.1 favourite here. Also Brownie Fudge is super chocolaty.
Why 4?
Because this one time I wanted to experiment and tried the litchi sundae and I regretted instantly.
Im not a fan of the others here apart from the above two.

One of my favourite ice cream parlours in Bangalore, spacious parlour with varieties of ice creams. Decent place to go with friends and family to enjoy the moment. Perfect place for couples to hang around to make that moment special and romantic too.

Polar bear here was frequented on many occasions but since der has been serious competition from the better near by ones.. I've not been going here anymore... But ya the fruit zest has been my all time favourite here..n choco block my boyfriend's...I really think I shud go back here to see if anything is new... But anyday these sundaes live up to both the name n taste... Do try the lichie n orange ones...n ya don't forget the sandwich which are no less either...I think I shud go here more often.. One of the ice cream parlours I have been to. They have variety of choices. I tried litchi icecream which was really awesome, comes with real litchi, cream and cherry. We also ordered tender coconut icecream, but that wasn't that good. Overall really good place for ice-creams.

I had been here on a hot summer afternoon to quench my thirst, but I ended up having some ice cream too. These parlors serve some decent ice creams, milk shakes, sandwiches, pizzas, etc.
On this visit, I tried out their new "Melagrana" flavour which had pomegrante in it. The taste was good too. To beat the heat, I also had a orange sip. This was quite refreshing and helped in queching my thirst too. The strawberry salad with ice cream was also good in terms of price & taste.

Like any chocolate fan, I had to check out Death by Chocolate Ice Cream and when I had my first scoop, man it taste heavenly. The hot brownie for a taste that's to die for. As long as there is DBC, I shall not die of hunger.
My favourite ice cream is chocolate fudge. I love their vanilla flavour. Another must try is their excess chocolate. As the name says, it it overloaded with chocolate but do make sure to check if they have added bytes cause if you don't they might not. One small draw back is that they need to update their menu cause in the menu few ice creams have bytes but right now there is no bytes. I love their death by chocolate.

Came here yesterday afternoon with my mom. Seating arrangement is good, thank god for AC. The manager was very nice and recommended a few sundaes to try out.
I took the choco brownie sundae and my mom tried the dry fruit sundae.
They both tasted pretty good, but toooo sweet for our liking. I couldn't finish my sundae. Also, price is a little high.
Choco brownie sundae has 2 scoops of chocolate, brownie, and chocolate syrup topped with cashew. For chocolate lovers, you can definitely try this one.
The dry fruit sundae had pineapple and vanilla ice cream i think, loads of tutty fruity and dry fruits. Maybe they could reduce the tutty fruity to make it less sweet.
Lovely ice creams! Other dishes are also good.. The ambience is nice, location is good.. But the prices are too high.. I wouldn't pay 100 bucks for a grilled sandwich whereas I am getting it for 40 bucks in other place with the same quality.. Go here for ice creams..

Ice-Cream Pizza: My aunt was fascinated by the idea,so she ordered it. It has a vanilla cake as base on top of which there is pineapple ice cream and then cheese is grated over the thing. It was okay for one time try.
Honey O Fig Scoop: This is my all time favourite flavour and it was wonderful here too.
Kesar Kulfi Sundae: Very Royale, loaded with Kesar kulfi , roasted nuts , milkmaid and honey . A bit too sweet and some people may not like it . But I liked it :-)
Chilly Macaroni Sandwich: Average ! There was no chilly as such
Located just a few steps from Malleshwaram sampige road, this polar bear outlet has been there for almost a decade now. My friend told me that I'll fall in love with ice cream as I taste the DBC here. Well that certainly didn't happen :D
Ambiance: Two floored building. Spacious and clean.
Service: Quick and courteous.
Food: Their famous DBC is definitely worth a try but I don't get the hype! Decent and filling sandwiches served here. Fruit salad + ice-cream is the one item I loved the most and might be the only reason to go back :)

Tasted mayonnaise sandwich, DBC , Veg Cheese sandwich, and Brownie Fudge. DBC and the mayonnaise sandwich were out of the world experience. Brownie fudge was good too. Veg Cheese sandwich was simply waste of money. The guys working at polar bear could have been a bit more hospitable.
This place is worth a try. Trust me it doesn't dig a hole in your wallet (sic).

Located in a cross road, mid way through the two main road. Good place for ice creams. Never seen it filled up with people. Have been there a couple of times. We usually order DBC or Hot Chocolate Fudge, but there are other varieties like Jamaican Farewell and Coffee Kick that can leave astonished. Sandwich aren't up the ice cream standard. Would love to try new item! Ambiance can be cleaned up a little more.
The chilly cheese sandwich is amazing. We usually go there to have death by chocolate and the sandwich and they are very satisfying. They have service both in the ground and the first floor. I wish their menu could have more options. Also please make a jumbo DBC :D

Polar bear is always a nice place to hang out and catch up with friends. Good selection of ice creams and sandwiches. The coleslaw in particular is amazing. DBC is good too and it's very very filling.

This is the place where we all friends usually hangout, discuss, chill and eat ice creams on competition. Its location is convenient, ambiance is good, music is also good and the service is kind of nice. This place has Space at ground and first floor. There is only one couch on the first floor and we are lucky enough to get that couch every time. I have usually observed many re-union/get together parties happening in this store. During such party time we were served in plastic parcel containers due to the lack of glasses. :(
Ice Creams are really awesome. Surely a "die for" place for an ice cream lover. Even sandwiches and burgers tastes great. Though they won't grill sandwiches properly, due to rich ingredients its acceptable. Ketchup & Cheese quality is appreciable.
The only place of improvement required is in service. They leave first floor customers like orphans. And they have mind set to serve single table at once; either its taking order or serving order.
Washrooms are small yet managable, never bother about parking.
FINAL VERDICT: A good hangout place.
Polar bear is a nice place for ice cream lovers to sit by the comfortable couch (basically 1 couch, the rest of the seating just comprises of table and chairs) listening to random Bollywood songs playing and enjoying the various flavours of ice cream. The death by chocolate is one among my favourites because it gives that awesomely yummy feeling when the hot chocolate brownie and cold vanilla ice cream amalgamates in one's taste bud.. The sandwiches are also a pretty decent choice when your hanging out with friends and want to while away time. I've liked most of the ice cream I've had there except for the honey fig ice cream which looked pretty good but tasted bad to the same extent. Apart from that ni complaints about the place. Cheerful staff and overall a good place for ice creams.
Polar bear has many outlets all over Bangalore.. There is also one near Srirangapatna on Bangalore- Mysore highway.. The varieties are very good.. i have tried the chocolate, pineapple and mango flavours.. Prices are reasonable and service is quick too.. Though Bangalore has many ice cream parlours unlike we have in Kolkata and this one sure scores well.
Polar Bear is located near to Sai Baba temple on th 15th cross of Malleshwaram. Visited the place with my friends and I have visited already more than 6 times. I always find new thing one the menu.
The place is nicely furnished for you to sit back and they have wide range of ice-creams. They also have Sandwiches and Burgers, so that you don't feel like filling an empty stomach with ice.
I have tried Death-By-Chocolate, Belgian Chocolate, Fig O Honey, Hot Choco Fudge, Jamaican Cocktail. And the place is really pocket friendly. A perfect place to chill-out.

They give you a huge tub, which can be made a meal by itself. I've always preferred Polar Bear over Corner house, because of its sheer class.

Awesome place for icecreams. My all time favourites are DBC (death by chocolate), black magic, hot chocolate fudge, gud bud and floats. Not to forgot cake fudge...... Perfect place for family to enjoy desserts. I usually love combo's here icecream+milkshake+sandwich.

I loved this place. It has very good set up to sit and talk and chill. Ice creams are asusual the best! I'm visiting polar bear after a long time and it seemed too pricy now. Many new flavours have been added and sorbet mango reminded me of Mango in summers! Also it's situated in a very good road. So a long walk and an ice cream kind of place it is.

A place after corner house which i absolutely love as they have a wide range of ice creams to choose from. Do try out their variety of chocolate sundaes (I can't seem to choose a favourite out of the chocolate sundaes because everything tastes delicious).
