Great place for Bengali food but it’s not easy to get a table on weekends. Visited before lockdown
If you want to have a homely bengali lunch this should definitely be the place. The chicken dish with aloo melted my heart.
Not that spacious, food is good at reasonable price
Small place, but good food and very reasonable rate. It's not a glamorous place, but one Bengali will get the feel of Bengali authenticity .. if u want to catch up any of Ur Bengali friends over lunch, probably one of the good place in Bangalore.. it's not hifi, but a high-five place..
Me and my friends , went to Bangaliana for the 1st time ! And yes we loved the ambience , the homely feeling , and the yummy dishes ... We ordered many things and each and every item was good ... Starting from Aam Panar Shorbot to Shukto to Fish Fry to Pulao Mutton and ending with chutney , doi and mishti ... The delicious dishes couldn't resist our almost full tummy to have more ... Really happy to have lunch here !! Highly recommended for those Bengalis who miss their home at Kolkata and the food ofcourse !
If you are a Bengali who stays miles apart from her loved ones....this one place which will give you your soul food....I have visited their koramongala brunch....every time they provide great food...be it any vegetarian dishes or fish or chicken....it's amazing...Bengali cuisine glorifies sweet...and they do complete justice to it...they make sweet by their own...there food preparation comes from their central kitchen...so go and visit any brunch...you will get great food!!!
My fast visit this place my orderd aloo posto rice dal luchi fish fry and kosha mangsho the food was good. service very good .staff was friendly thanks to all staff.
Being a bong I always look for places that serve Bengali food few months back encountered this place, must say their fish fry is top notch, it's really good. Their jhuri aloo bhaja is also good. I have always got it delivered to my place. Looking forward to try other dishes soon.
Good and friendly place ...won't get that fresh fish like in kolkata...but over all the dishes have good taste..go for daily meals if you are going alone
Ordered Alu poshto and luchi puri. The food was too yummy for me to wait and click first. Hailing from Calcutta, eating poshto got me back to the streets of Cal, reminding me of Durga puja days, munching away Bengali cuisine in different pandals. Luchi was perfect and poshto tasted of 'sarso oil' as expected and was super yum. Will definitely order more from here going forward.
The food here is good and you will definitely get the feel of Bengal. I have order Radhaballavi with Aloodum and it was paradise. The Aloo were so soft and cooked in a spicy thick curry. The poori was stuffed and was also very delicious. I highly recommend everybody to try it.
I have visited this restaurant few times for Bengali cuisine; never disappointed by its foods.good choice for Bengali style cuisine, delicious food, average service, very basic ambiance

Willing to experience Kolkata here in Bangalore then, this place is for you!
Giving you the feel of an old Bengali club house be it the lanterns on the ceiling or the posters on the wall, this place is all homely. We absolutely loved how the food tasted rich and just like “ghar ka khana” both at the same time. So, we decided to stick to the regulars and ordered the following:
FISH FRY AND CHICKEN CUTLET
• Spicy
•4/5
MUTTON KOSHA WITH LUCHI
• Flavourful
•5/5
BASANTI PULAO
• Flavorful and rich
• 5/5
BHETKI PATURI
• Recommended for those who love the taste of mustard
•5/5
MISHTI DOI AND RASGULLA
• Optimally sweet and fresh
Final verdict:
Definitely a yes!
I'll describe the food in three words - " GHAR JAISA KHANA !"
Amazing, simple, delicious food with famous Bengali sweets !!
I'll recommend Aam ka Pana, Radhawallabhi & Aloo Dum & Mishti Doi .
Food is good. But slightly over priced. The food will be surely liked by east Indians. One plus point I must mention here , management is so considerate of your feedback even you get your order cancelled if it is not prepared well. Worth trying once.
authentic bengali food served.. best in quality n quantity..
Good Bengali food. Must try

Food was tasty. But quantity is very less
This was my first order from zomato. love it
I physically never visited the place .. but ordered food so many times... mutton kosha is just superb.. taste wise and quantity wise.. i would say one of the great place for bengali people..
Being a Bengali visited this place with my friends to get some Bengali cuisine. Not a very bad place to visit sometime. But the ambiance is not too good honestly. We have tasted 'Sukto', 'misti doi', 'rosogolla' 'Pabda fish' . But the most delicious dish was the mutton. They provided a good quantity of food in every dish.
Food-4/5
Ambiance-2/5
Loved the food. We took rice, paturi, bhaja moong dal, and maccher matha diye dal. Enjoyed every single dish and the people who were serving were so cordial to us. Got to hear "abar ashben" before we stepped out. Will come back again, whenever I manage to make some time out of my schedule for good food. I would recommend Bangaliana to every single Bengali out there. Thank you so much.
Edit: the fish batter fry is amazing
First I will start on the cons. The place is small, congested and not quite easy to find. The staff does not smile and looks as if they have not had food since ages. Also the service is super slow, as the place is understaffed. They took 15 mins to serve me water. Really not acceptable.
Now the pros. THE FOOD !!!! I don't know, maybe because I was so hungry, everything I ordered was top notch in terms of taste and flavour. Quite affordable, the dishes has the bengali essence that I craved for. Starting with the Aam Panna was probably the best idea. A glass of refreshing Mango Sharbat, just how it should be with a hint of salt, pepper and chaat masala. The Bengali Pulao was a little sweet with lots of cashews and raisins and just how Bengalis like it. But maybe a little too much saffron. The Bhaja Mug Dal, Jhuri Aalo Bhaja and the Dhokaar Dalna was really good. They were kinda unexpected, because they were exactly how they should be. The chickpea cake in Dhokaar Dalna was soft but held it's shape. So thats commendable. Then came the Maacher Paturi and Chicken Kosha. YUM !! Both made my tummy and soul happy. Tender flaky fish coated in a mustard paste and wrapped with banana leaf and the thick chicken gravy with 4 good chicken pieces was mouthwatering.
The dishes were good in portion and cheap and tasty at the same time. Would definitely love to come back. But they should try to improve upon their service.
Loved Bangaliana food, especially the "Bangla Polau" and "Chicken Kosha", awesome it was... would love to order again.
Prices are fine and delivery was also on time.
It's a must visit place for Bengalis.

Perfect place for bengali foodie. The quality and quantity of the food is just perfect. Staffs are well behaved. Love to visit here again and again
Their Rosogollas make me drool! So soft, so fresh, so divine. Have tried other stuff also from their marathalli outlet: separately reviewed.
I can give full rating but when I have been there..They don't have Max item ..So as per their options we had to choose ..N sudden power was gone..But they didn't have any power backup.Rahul Chakraborty
For a friends birthday party, due to a technical glitch, we wanted quick bengali food and we thought of Bangaliana. The common choice was Mutton Kosha, Mutton Duck Bangalow and Yellow Polao. For dessert we had Rasgulla.
It pretty decent and no complaints can be made. The mutton was cooked really well, the sweet spicyness of the mutton kosha - superb and tasty. The Mutton duck bangalow gravy was even better.
Both went quite well with the Yellow Polao which was pretty tasty.
Overall the only letdown slightly was the desserts as rasgulla is not something I will write home about.
The food will surely remind you of kolkata. The mishti pulao with mutton kosha was so heavenly that we fell for the place. The paturi also tasted good. The place is a bit small though, but the food makes up for it. And the service is also appreciable.
:)
A must go for a homely Bengali meal. It is a family run tiny outlet but amazing food! Quality and quantity.
A meal for two: approx. INR 200-300
To have a weekend worthy of Bengali food, try out this in Koramangala 7thBlock in the alley right beside Koramangala Social. Their meals are quite good if you want to try out all things that are there. Ask for the daily specials they make for Weekends. The place is a bit slow with their cooking and might take time to get your food prepared as they mostly focus on deliveries. Try their Paturi, Fish Fry, Kabiraji and Mutton. The food is top notch to cover up for the waiting time. The meal prices are bit more on weekends than in weekdays obviously. Quite an old restaurant with not much seating space but a homely ambience and Bengali Pujo Pandal songs always playing in the background.
I feel just like home peace, quality of food awesome 😎,good experience in 1st time in Bengali food🥰
A small shop that serve authentic Bengali food. Taste is so yummy. I loved their fish that is prepared in Bengali style.
But it is bit price for the food quantity & items served.
Very nice Bengali Ambience, clean and subtle place. A great place for lunch. Loved the fish fingers for starters. Bengali Pulao was great too. Chicken Dakbangla was okayish and loved the Gud Rasgulla and Mishti Doi. The place is filled with paitings all over which gives it a culturally rich look. Do visit!
A truly wonderful place for authentic Bengali cuisine. The looks of the restaurant can be deceiving considering the good quality food that they serve. A variety of options are available for non vegetarian people.
This place tries to serve authentic Bengali cusine.
Tried
1)Mochar chops(starter)
2)Aloo Postho
3)Channar Dalna
4)Pabda jal
5)luchi
6) Bangla pulav
7) RashaGulla(❤️)
Almost all are good .but as it is a Bengali restraunt one should expect everything to be mildly sweet ,and filled with sesame flavour.
RashaGulla is out of the world.almost like the ones available in Kolkata.
Don't expect spicy food here. Know the cusine and go for it
If you want to have Authentic Bengali food Then you must visit Bengaliana. Which is 20 years old small restaurant in seventh Block Koramangala . Food is just wow and amazing , mouthwatering . Must try on the menu is mustard gravy fish . Each thing on the menu is a must try , we had ordered luchi which is puri and dum aloo, Aam panna was so delicious, pabda jhal, betki, white rice . Every thing was fantastic.
Most delicious Kerala style food in Bengaluru! The taste of thalaserry biryani along with the kothu parotta and the chicken roast was to die for. The onam sadhya is as famous and looking forward the next time.
I kinda liked the restaurant and ofcourse the food! I was craving for a good Bengali food and Bangalikhana had not disappointed me..The ambience looks as if we are in Kolkata.. The owner was very nice. Price wise, I ordered a veg thali which had - a potion of rice, two shobjis, dal, aloo jhuri bhaja, chatni, and one mishti for ₹200. So considering the expensive Bangalore City, it is definitely cost friendly. I'll recommend this restaurant 🙂
Visited this place on a Saturday afternoon for lunch.
The sitting is simple, a few nice throwback food related poetry on the ceiling that makes you nostalgic.
Ordered the prawn masala, Alu posto, Bangali pulav and dhokar dalna to go.
The portion size was good, taste and freshness of the food excellent, especially the prawn.
Had their Aam panna sharbat to beat the heat, decently tasty. Would visit again👍
