Coffee, cheesecake, good conversation and weather like Bangalore's is all one needs! I love the aroma of coffee as soon as I walk into this place! Thier coffee is really good and so is their cheesecake. I love going over to this place all by myself along with a good book. It's also an amazing place to hangout with your friends. There's just something beautiful about this place, feels warm and intimate!

Well I would like to start with the ambience.
It's very peaceful and what I loved the most was the decor. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. It gives a homely environment. Well, I personally didn't like iced Americano cause it was way too bitter. Overall a good place to grab a cup of freshly brewed coffee.
Their coffee is one of the best in Bangalore. I usually have the black coffee ( Americano ) here . What makes this cafe special is the roasting happens right here at the cafe . The flavour is always fresh . You can also order your choice of roast . ( medium or dark ) . Their staff is friendly and attentive too . So a good expletive altogether .
This is an awesome place to be . Great ambience , be it inside or outside. This is located in a calm area so you will definitely enjoy this place. If you are a cover lover do try this out. We tried cafe latte hot and cold , both was good.

Today we visited kalyan nagar and wanted to spend some time at a café. The choice was The Roastery and we really loved the place. Ambiance is minimalist yet very posh. We tried the hot caramel macchiato and cold brew. Cold brew was really nice and definitely a great substitute for iced tea for coffee lovers. Caramel macchiato was a little extra sweet for me but no doubt it was a great combination of caramel and coffee. Overall I loved the place and will definitely like to visit again.
Beautiful coffee shop tucked away just off the busy main road. The ambience and service are at par with any international coffee chain (think Starbucks). Surprisingly reasonably priced!

One of the best coffee joints in Bangalore. I've had one of the best coffee at this place. It's a small coffee shop located off the main road in Kalyan Nagar. The location is amazing. Far enough from the main road to make it a really great place to have conversations without any disturbances.
The ambiance is fascinating. From all the Cafe's I've visited till date, this place had the best atmosphere. They have indoor and outdoor seating available. Though I would prefer you to go indoors because the interiors are wonderful. The dim yellow lights in the evening and coffee brown decor make this a perfect place. One of the best places to sit and get your work done and also conduct meetings, go on a date or maybe just spend some time with your friends grabbing a cup of your favorite coffee. Laptop charging points are present on every table which makes it convenient to sit for long hours. You can sit here for as long as you wish.
The menu here is very minimal, so as to not confuse people with multiple coffee names. Everything right from getting the coffee cherries to the coffee powder is done by them. Thus providing you with the best coffee experience. I've tasted everything on their menu, the hot coffee, and the frappes. They all are good. You can try anything you like and you won't be disappointed.
To sum it up, the best thing is about this cafe is that coffee is one of the best and at a reasonable price. The ambiance is perfect for a coffee house and their playlist is also really good with all the classical piano pieces. Great place to chit chat with your friends over a cup of coffee.

I recently came back from studying in Europe where my absolutely favorite thing to do was finding new speciality cafes and sitting with a delicious, creamy, beautiful looking cappacino, and to some work. This places brings me as close to that as possible. They could up their late art game a bit though. I personally go here to do some work on my laptop here by myself, I really enjoy it. I have one problem with it in that they server only double shot espresso based drinks.. I would much appreciate having the options of a typical cappacino which is in a smaller cup, with one shot of espresso.

At last discovered a very authentic coffee shop. Situated slightly tucked into the main road, this cafe welcomes with a very nice aroma of coffee. Seating is very comfy with ambient lighting. Folks taking orders atbth counter can smile but they are friendly. Tasted a tea cake with double shot Americano. Aroma of the coffee was lingering all around me. They also sell coffee freshly grounded but pricier.

A very warm and inviting space with near perfect blend of coffee. The place is all about coffee and keeping it simple is their theme. But when you look closer, you find yourself surrounded with little hidden treasures, like a beautiful wool woven sheep and rabbit on display counters above the sofa, or an old “hot coffee” sign, and a lot more. Not forgetting a little art on my coffee. This picture is of their famous caramel macchiato - a little sweet, a little salty... delicious on palate.
I feel that the roastery could improve a little bit with their hospitality, but food wise they a fine and have a good selection of coffee and snacks to go along with.

I am a regular at this place and I go here for the ambiance and smell of the coffee. It’s a quiet place to hang out and enjoy the company. I am fond of the americano here and freshly baked cakes. I would really live if they start some breakfast items to go with coffee. Just a suggestion.
The vibes I got from this place were awesome! It had the feel of a proper cafe, and the ambience was very laid back — the cafe just really sets the mood to sit down and enjoy a nice cup of coffee. The portions that they give for the coffee are quite fair and appropriate for the prices they set them at. I haven’t tried any of their foods though, but so far the coffee has been pretty good.

Reminds me of a European sidewalk cafe for some reason. Must be the lamp posts at the entrance that give that feel. Its all about coffee as it should be. The brew is much better than starbucks...My favorite is the Americano. I have tried most of their coffees and their cold coffees are tasty and refreshing too. For people with lactose intolerance they have a soya milk option. Its all about the coffee so dont go there expecting a lot of eats like in coffee day. He has a limited selection of bites. We were meeting friends who chose this place. It's a cute little joint with great selection in coffees. The location is great, just off the main road. The decor is chic. Woodwork is amazing.
The menu is limited but quite good. I went with the cold press coffee with sprite(I think) which gave it a beer like flavor. Of course we ordered a cappuccino and a latte. Tried a chicken sandwich as well. Pretty good I must say. The place has a great vibe to it. Enjoyed hanging out here.

Love the ambiance! Amazing coffee, the caramel machiato is a must try! The staff is friendly as well. The only downfall is that there is no wifi, so if you want to work there you’d have to have your own internet connection.
This place easily makes it to the top five coffee shops in the city. Clean, comfortable and with some fantastic coffee on offer, the Roastery does end up ticking all the right boxes. The fact that it's far away from the madness that is koramangala and indiranagar (and their crowds) only adds to the charm of this place.
Much like coffee mechanics, over here it is coffee that gets all the attention. If you are expecting some great food, you ain't gonna get it here.Would recommend the outdoors section when the weather permits. Otherwise you have the indoor seating with plenty of plug points on offer.

Really thrilled to find a coffee roastery nearby. The smell of freshly roasted coffee is awesome. The best drink (that I liked) was the iced cold brewed coffee.. no sugar needed, low in acidity, and lovely for a hot day.. it helps that this coffee is made with Badnekhan estate coffee. This place is also a good place to buy coffee beans to brew ast home.
My only suggestion is that a flight of coffee tasting or coffee cupping should be offered.. the owner is a passionate roaster who is always around to answer questions.. Really liked the enthusiasm and knowledge that he shared.
Unlike the other Zomato reviewers I didn't miss the food, because this place is all about coffee ! If coffee is your religion, your obsession.. This is the place to go.. I do accept that some food or sandwiches would help the casual coffee drinkers!!
Well, I walked in because I knew that this was the quietest place around and gave me all the good vibes. I was supposed to have a telephonic interview, and I knew 'The Roastery' was the place to soothe my nerves.
It just pops out of nowhere, you know? You walk into a left from the main road, and there it is, shaded by tress and an ornate street sign indicating, 'The Roastery'. Beautiful place. Absolutely Date worthy too ;)

Last Saturday we just walked into Roastery to spend some time over evening coffee.
The place is mainly meant for hot and cold coffees and all variants of that. They also sell coffee beans, presses and stuff relating to coffee! Snacks are very limited and often off the kiosk (no hot food as such). The day we went, they just had one or two residual pastries in the rack holder and they were not very visually appealing.
Coming to the beverages, we had the Latte and the Café Mocha. Both were very good and seemed like a big quantity (comparatively) close to replacing a meal.

They had the best cafe mocha in Kalyan Nagar. They don't have much variety to munch but the coffee is goooooood. Also, their cold coffees are too thin, so that's a suggestion to them, please work on that. Otherwise, their cafe mocha makes feel like you're in heaven.

Long pending review. Been here a few times and loved it every time. The ambience is lovely and it's a great place to unwind on weekends either with friends or by yourself (something I love doing quite often). The music is soothing and not too loud. Tried the Cafe Mocha and the very popular Caramel Macchiato. Both were very good. Definitely one of the best coffee shops in the area. They have limited options for food and the few snacks that they do keep - cookies, sandwiches, cheesecakes etc. get over pretty fast. Tried the blueberry cheesecake and the chocolate chip and almond cookies - all good. So if you are a coffee lover, this is the place for you :)
Hands down the best coffee place in Bangalore that I have been to. The place has such good ambience and you can take a break from your normal work and sit here for hours and get things done. You'll be welcomed by good music and lovely aroma of coffee.

Places like these put coffee day to shame. If coffee is your love, then you are in a long term relationship with this place. For a non-coffee lover like me, this place was a sheer surprise. In comparison to places like Third-wave, alchemy and flying squirrel, this place has a unique flavor, from ambiance, to people and their variety of coffees. I have been visiting this place from the week 1 post opening. The fact that this is my first 5 out of 5 coffee shop, you can understand how much I love this place.

Along with coffee the place also serves up some good muffins, biscottis, cakes and cheescakes.
What I am missing from this place is a larger variety of savoury items than a couple of sandwiches...the place has the right ambience..has the subtle music...has the right COFFEE....but misses out on a larger savoury menu.
Viewing the pics of this place, I really wanted to visit it and we made to it unexpectedly. The ambience and decor of the place is just awesome. As we visited late in the evening, we didnt have any option to eat except sandwich and muffins, ordered them and ofcourse cappuccino. All of it was really great. Enjoyed the visit.

This cafe is located off CMR road, away from all the noise. The location is lovely, and the ambiance is very relaxing.

The decor is simple and cozy, too many lights maybe it can be dimmed down a bit , coming to the coffee and food . A simple menu with 10 things on it , a few sandwiches and desserts.
I ordered a cappuccino and a chicken pepper sandwich . The cappuccino was great, the pepper chicken sandwich hardly had any chicken in it , it felt more like a veg sandwich with hardly any stuffings .

Restaurant seems to have become popular as I could see multiple people coming in to grab something and spent time insdie. Most of them seem to be foreigners who tend to relax over a cup of hot/cold coffee. I was there recently to try out a few items at the café.
Ambiance
A very elegant looking place that has a long social table to the left side of the entrance which lets people to enjoy the company of other people sitting on the table.
Seats are quite comfortable. I found quite a few of the guests just trying to read a book on the table or even relax and then browse the net on the laptop. There were others who were chatting away.
Its self-service restaurant for placing order like in other places. The waiters deliver the items that we order to the seat.
The menu which I could see from the board seems to be limited. It could either be smart move to have selective items. If not, they might be slowly looking to add more items into the menu.
They have plenty of paintings and on the wall. There also few section where coffee beans, powder, coffee maker machines are placed.
Place is quite spacious which is surely the highlight. They have both indoor and outdoor sections.
Food
This is one of the reasons why we visit the café. But sometimes I feel that even if the food/drinks are okay, if the ambiance is good, people don’t mind visiting the place.
Iced Mocha – This was a pretty average cold coffee that had more of coffee, less of milk and more of ice-cubes. There was a thick layer of brown liquid at the bottom which is where the cappuccino and chocolate is mixed. It just tasted quite ordinary and it surely did not impress me at all.
Iced Macchiato – Another drink which is similar to the cold-coffee which seemed to be a little bit more thicker and more cream added on to it. There was a nice concentric circle made with caramel. The taste was quite fine and I thought it was just decent. Again, it did not make me feel like going back and taking another portion of it.
Almond cookie – There were 2 glasses- Almond cookies were there in one of the bottles. The cookies looked quite small and the taste again was fine. Price of the cookie was not matching the taste. It was just like another ordinary cookie.
Overall Experience
It was a decent experience sitting inside the Café but I thought that the drinks quality needs to be improve. I don’t think it is currently serving the kind of drink for the money customer is ready to spend. Also, I would want to have more options in the menu. I rate my overall experience at 3.0/5.

This is my favorite cafe, interior on point, nice ambiance, friendly staffs. Limited choice of coffee and food, but its worth it. My favorite is Iced americano and latte. Best place for hang out with friends. If you are a coffee and Jazz music lover this is the BEST cafe for you. I highly recommended this cafe.
Actually this place is a magnet, 😉😉 . Beautiful ambience, love the coffee, but no options for food, must come back for coffee... I love the POUR OVER coffee.
Lovely place located of CMR Road which has become our go to place for late night coffee outings on Fridays. Love the spacious interior as well as the outdoor seating option but what I love most is the wonderful soft jazz music that is always playing in the background. A limited but brilliant coffee and bites menu which is extremely reasonably priced makes it even better. The drink to die for of course is a Caramel Macchiato. Just super.

Nice big spacious place with a tiny menu. Loads of outdoor seating as well. Serves only coffee. Has literally zero choice for food. Somewhere you can laze around for hours and hours. Machiatto was pretty good. Very brightly lit and Furnished with a lot of coffee based paraphernalia. Should probably expand on the menu.
Loved this joint -The ambience and the soft jazz in the background seemed totally perfect .
The coffee of course was yummy ! I'd go there again and again AND recommend it to all my coffee-loving pals !
Oooo coffee is awesome, limited food, but what ever they have is awesome. Caramel Macchiato, Fruit Tart is my choice. Well I'm definitely going back.
An authentic cafe with the aroma of coffee inviting you as soon as you open the doors.
It's not just the coffee but it's the amount of time you could spend here without the waiter thumping a bill on your table indicating you to leave.
The ambience is a lot different from other cafes you could find in the area - from the little decor items to the soft jazz music playing in the background.

A really nice place for coffee in Kalyan Nagar. You wouldn't know it existed unless you drove past.

Food: We tried Iced Late: Nice ; Chicken Sandwich: Average. If you do not drink coffee, this is not the place for you. No options.
Even though I've walked past this side several times, this was the first time I tried this Café. Situated in the heart of Kalyan Nagar, this coffee place has its own uniqueness.
The cafe latte was good & it has that roasted flavour to it. Coffee lovers would definitely like this. The hot chocolate was okay. The blueberry cheesecake was delicious. On the downside, customers here with their laptops can be annoying if they're on calls.
Need some time off from the office and work in a cafe? Here's something you can try. They serve good coffee. But limited options of food. However, they do have some quick bytes made available. If you like to munch between work. Good place to catch up with friends and chill as well.
The Roastery is a very good place for me. The atmosphere is excellent for a quiet conversation with a friend or a solitary moment to think or read a book or just chill out. I visit the Roastery often when I am free to do my personal work, to just read a book. I regularly use it also as a meeting point with my friends. The workers there are friendly and yet very professional. I love that the seating place and the toilets are kept sparkling clean all the time. Contrary to other places around there that I have visited, I love that they keep the music very soft, very soothing. Their repertoire of music is great too. Please just keep it up.
Absolutely brilliant cafe, amazing coffee with choice between medium and dark roast, great fresh pastries, nice place to sit inside and especially outside under the trees on the quiet street. Prices are better than other cafes in the local area too for better quality
Good coffee shop. Ambience so amazing. Quite and specious, well decorated. We took cafe latte and cafe mocha it was really awesome. Only flaws for me it was no such great options in snacks for side orders. It is solely my feeling. But worth it to pay a visit on weekends. It has indoor, outdoor sitting, so people can feel both. I liked it. I may pay visit again.
Loved the ambience and the taste :) A good place to hangout and chill on a sunny day or a cold day :) Because they have Hot and Cold beverages. The appetizers/dessert can be important but The roastery is known for it's beverage and they are doing justice to that name :).
Nice ambiance. A smaller and more cozy Starbucks feel, but not in price range. Hot chocolate in a must try. Good place to hangout and chill.

Superb ambience. Lively place for coffee. They do not have too many options to eat. A good place to chill or hang out with friends and also to have some time alone. Service is fast and polite. Ordered Cappuccino, Orange Choco Cookie, Iced Orange drink, Cold café latte. We could feel the natural taste of bitter coffee better (with ice). Highly recommended.
A great coffee place which serves decently priced amazing coffee.
We tried their mocha (both hot and cold) and both of them turned out better than any other place. Definitely worth a try.
The place is crowded yet not chaotic. Limited menu and mostly coffee items. Food items are very less and are mostly egg based. You hardly get a handful of options for food. Coffee preparation is normal. Nothing exceptional.
Services are not up to the mark. They will serve you coffee but condiments like sugar and stirrer won't come by default. You have to ask for it and they are not generous about it. So be shameless if you need more.
Their coffee is really good! Roastery does not have too many food options, so I wouldn't suggest going here if you're hungry. But if you're looking for good quality coffee, this is a place for you.
I've had an experience where my frappe was too sweet, but if you tell them early on what you want, they do a great job.

Our favourites are the cold brew which was perfection and also the cold coffee which was not diluted down with a lot of ice as in other places.
Perfect place to catch up with friends or even get some work done.
They also have some quick bites for the hunger pangs too.

This is such a cool Cafe to spend hours. I tried their Iced Mocha and this time time couldn’t try anything from the food menu. Iced Mocha had perfect balance of flavours. This roastery’s ambience is so beautiful 🤩
Quaint little cafe in the midst of hustle bustle of HRBR. This undiscovered gem has its own patrons and visitors. What draws your attention to this place is the ambience and beverages. You get to savor the same taste every single time!! A must visit place to add onto your wishlist if you love to visit offbeat places with a pulse!

One of the very cool cafes I've seen around. The people are great, the customers who walk in are like really great!!!! The coffee is not bad ! Not critically the most awesome, but I'm sure you went be disappointed either. Basic good option which are nice. And the decor+ambience is with visiting for
