I went to this place couple months back.. travelled about 20kms to get to this place but it was totally worth it! Sangam mess won't disappoint you at all. Kerala parotta, beef roast, prawns curry, fish biryani, chicken stew is definitely a must try! Loved the cozy place, the ambience and the people are warm and welcoming too.
The packaging and the portions size was amazing.
Authentic Keralan food. The Kappa Biryani is a 10/10. Worth the money and leaves your taste buds tingling.
Food so great that I wanted to organize a hartal so that the great Mallu chetanmaar at Sangam can get a day off from work.
There are many Mallu restuarants in Bangalore masquerading as some genuine Mallu restuarant. (Ente Keralam, I'm looking at you, Yes you, Stand up and get out house) Sangam Mess isn't one of them.
A signature dish I ordered from there was the humble Steam Cake and Black ChickPeas in roasted Coconut milk gravey. (നമ്മുടെ പുട്ടും കടലയും എൻ്റെ അളിയാ). It's simple yet could shut up Chef Ramsey himself. The chetanmaar here might not appearing in any MasterChef Australia shows any time soon. Infact they don't need that kind of adulation. Like the food they too are humble and sim'b'le.
So, go ahead and blindly order that Beef fry and Parotta you always wanted to order.

Really good food for a mallu mess. It felt much cleaner than other Mess’ that I have visited. Surprisingly, they did not have egg roast to go with Kerala porotta considering there might be ppl who do not eat meat. The fish curry they gave with Rice did not taste good. That was the only drawback. Also belted Unniyappam which is a snack and it was super tasty n soft.
Sangam Mess makes everyone want to come back. I have no count of how many times I have always been coming back owing to their delicious food. Its also worth paying for the food that one buys from there. They ensure that all their customers are treated well. Ambience is too good for the Kerala crowd. Its worth a visit. :)

Headed to this place on weekday for dinner. Didn't get to explore the menu too much so stuck with the staple Kerala Parotha and Beef Fry. I was not disappointed one bit. The price was very reasonable and the taste was amazing. This place is a 'hole-in-a-wall' kinda place and everything is quite reasonably priced. The ambience was pretty chill for a family environment too. A must visit if you're in the area.

Current status: They turned all business minded. The friendly nature of the staff changed.
The packet parottas are now reheated and no more freshly made in the restaurant which clearly shows in reduced taste while eating . Also the chef changed multiple times due to which now the taste is very much different.

It used to be a tiny place hidden away in a by-lane of the busy kamanahalli road, looks like they renovated it to make it more spacious. There is nothing about the decor, it's a simple place with seating, all marks just for the food, very homely kerala food, everthing this up to the mark, my favourite is the beef Briyani and chicken fry. The staff is super courteous and the best part is the food is super affordable and tasty.

One of the best Kerala stlye food I had too good 😍😍😍 I had kappa beriyani with beef it's so filling and so tatsy. If you happen to be around kammanahalli do try this you will love it if you eat beef,so soft and tatsy
The venue is very bare bones basic, so might not be the best place to dine in if ambience is important to you. However, the place is very popular with fans of Kerala food. Got take away of two portions of Kappa Biryani (Tapioca), as recommended by a friend from Kerala. This might be an acquired taste for some, but the meal on the plate was excellent. Definitely worth a try, if you're one to experiment with new cuisines and dishes.

It’s literally home away from home. Kerala food at its best. Best meals, best non-veg dinner. All dishes, be it chicken or mutton or beef or fish or veg, all are good. Although it’s a small place, there is something about it that really touches you, if you’re from kerala.
My favourite here is the Kakka Irachi fry/ clams fry . Add some kappa and fish curry ( mostly it’s tuna at night ) They also have good meals at lunch time .

No muss no fuss food. This is the perfect place if you want to eat good food, fast and on a super low budget.
Perfect for your workday lunch or pretty much any day if you want to eat out on a budget.
The meals which consist of rice, sambar or fish gravy, three vegetables and payasam cost around Rs.80. You can always add a side of beef fry or seafood, depending on your preference.
My usual order is the meal and karimeen fry, on an average this costs around Rs.350. Since Karimeen is an expensive fish.

Authentic Kerala Cuisine Restraunt and I would say best in kalyan Nagar-kamannahalli in such genre.Place is neat and clean , build like dhaba/mess style.Ordered - kerela chicken biryani , biryani rice , appam , chichen curry , karremen fry , beef chilli fry ...et al.Found completely different version of biryani and fish ,as were cooked in kerela style with south India spices.Beef chilli was bit off as was bit overcooked, rest everything was good.one should have knowledge of Kerala dishes , as menu does not contains dish description , better to have Mallu friend with you😊.Food is served in banana leaf on demand.

Located at the dead end of the road is this mess serving delicious home-style Kerala cuisine! There's bike parking but if you are using a car, would be advisable to park on the main road and walk into this lane.

A place near to my house.I mostly go there to have a kerala meal or to enjoy appam with Chicken roast.You will get puttu ,idiyapam and everything that completes a kerala meal.

The menu is really good and affordable and the taste of the good is also very good.

Love it when i accidentally discover a gem. Sangam mess is one such gem of a place. On the lookout for another restaurant we came by Sangam mess, which would be impossible to spot usually as it lies in one corner of a small street off the busy Kammanahalli main road. A typical Mallu mess, but quite popular apparently given the queue we had to join for a table. After about a ten minute wait we finally got one.

The beef fry was out of this world. Usually i find lots of fatty pieces in small joints such as this but Sangam surprised me. The beef was fried nicely, flavors were brilliant. First bite took me right back home.
The duck roast was average, i've had better,but nothing wrong really. Went well with the Parottas. The meals were great too. Came with the usual veggies, moru and the additional fish fry complemented the meal nicely.
Loved the place, will definitely be coming back for more.

Had my lunch there today. Meals was nice, above average. Seer fish fry was ok, not that tasty. Prawns Roast was very tasty.

One of the best kerala cuisine restaurants in Bangalore. Its not located on a main road or busy junction, so its not very easy to locate this place. But once you locate the place and eat some delicious food from here then chances of you becoming a regular visitor to this place is quite high. Ambience is too simple and not much interior works done.

I had gone to this place for lunch last Sunday with my friend. It is a nice small place with basic neat ambiance. Here we had meals alone with prawns roast, fish fry and beef roast. The veg meals was nice but I really liked their prawns.

I'm a fan of their meals, Kappa (tapioca) beef biriyani, beef roast and chicken masala. You could take your family there but don't expect a fine dine in. Sangam is one great place to go to for a satisfying meal. Being a North Indian i still enjoy the refreshing flavours a Kerala thali has to offer and Sangam has set a benchmark for itself in my Kerala places list!
For lunch we go here very often, as it is has a really quick service and we all get limited time for lunch breaks. The kitchen looks clean from what we can see from the outside and the food is always served fresh. They serve a wide variety of sea fish, duck, beef etc true to the Kerala flavours (as per my expert Keralite friends) and the sambhar and fish curry taste great. And all this for extremely reasonable prices!
As a frequent visitor to the place, i have been happy with the consistent quality this place has offered me. I would only suggest they work a little on the overall ambience and better furniture maybe.

It's very crowded. I went at 1:30; I didn't have a place. to sit and wait for a longer time, I didn't get a place I left from there and am giving it a rating of 5 because I don't know how the food was, but the crowd says it's good.
