Good food and good service. Have been going here for a long time now. My favourite here is Ravi Dosa and Filter Coffee. You should try it too

Had visited the fine dine section recently for lunch.
We ordered three South Indian meals and one special South Indian meal.
The food was good, no Complaints there. The quantity and the quality both were great.
The special thali came with tomato soup and ice creams scoop.
The soup did not taste so good.
Rest all the items were good ! Great place to try out the pure veg South Indian thali.
This review is only about the South Indian thali as I haven’t tried out their other dishes 😊
Great South Indian food. No comparison and no complaints. Just make sure if you go a little late on any day, they might not have all the options available for you. They are done with the majority of the south Indian dishes early at times.
Good restaurant. Basically it is one stop solution for vegetarians. Because they serve breakfast, lunch, snacks, tea, dinner everything. Food quality is very nice.
Nice and tasty South and North Indian food we get here. I like the paneer items here. It will be so soft my god it just melts in our mouth. Dosa will be tasty here. Ambiance is good. Service and staff are good. Their catering service is good, all people who had come to our home Just loved the food
Would give a 4 to 2/5 visits to this place. The remaining 3 visits can in no chance go more than a 3! Recommended place for quick breakfast. Not turning out to be a very great place for family dinner now. The staff seemed very lazy and careless.

Visited this place for breakfast and I quite liked it! We ordered for a Rava dosa and set dosas and it was all fresh and hot! Good place for breakfast! It's a very eat-and-leave fast food kinda place so don't go here looking to sit and chit chat but ideal for a quick meal.
We usually order take away breakfast stuff. However have had dosa there. Nothing great nor bad. It is just like any other darshini's around. If you are looking for a quick bite or a quick take away, then the downstairs self service won't disappoint you.
You can also have a seated service upstairs, service is good, slightly priced more, however can get delayed.
This restaurant is on the kammanahalli main road, usually crowded with pedestrians, two wheelers, buses and four wheelers. The restaurant has limited parking space, however you could park opposite to it, if you are lucky to get space.
One day I went this place with my family.. And we had the food here.the food was so tasty..and the service is heavenly good..they served us so politely of their super way.the place is awesome..but one very interesting thing that.one guy who served us he didn't take tip from us.and he told us that my salary has been very sufficient to me..some time it heckles me always..
The restaurant is located next to Jalvayuvihar on Kammanahalli main road. It has been recently renovated and now they have ground floor darshini and an above floor service section. The prices are affordable. Service is decent. Indian food is good but they need to pickup on their Chinese cuisine. It is a very busy road so parking will be an issue.
Downstairs it appears to be regular fast food joint which we never tried. But upstairs its very spacious & comfortable seating for at least 100 to 200 people.very clean & good service. You will find lot of families eating. Ambience is good & service is crisp. Food is quite tasty. Overall worth the experience.
This one is a go to place if you are really in the mood of pure vegetarian food. This is located in the main kammanahalli road and has surely earned lot of loyal foodies. The place is spacious enough to accommodate people and is spread over two floors. Prices are economical and service decent.
The food is good and its indo chinese is perfect among starters. You may really like dal tadka and paneer here. Overall a good place to have pure vegetarian and authentic north Indian food.
Located on the busy Kammanahalli Main Road.. This place seems to be always crowded, inspite of being a veg only restaurant.. The South Indian food is good but did not like their North Indian food to that extent..
Wooow wat a compelete veg meal which ends with a ice cream and variety of options in ur meal it...but the bad part is after 3 30 u get oly idly and dosa...

My wife and I wanted to have some veg food and after a lot of discussion and researching on zomato we decided to come to Sukh Sagar for lunch. When we reached this place, there wasn't much of a crowd but it gradually kept growing. The crowd at this place was mostly families.
We ordered for Mattar Paneer, Roti, Naan, Roasted Papad & Mushroom Baby Corn Fried Rice.
We started off with the papad which in my opinion was super spicy. I am not a very big fan of spicy food and this was way over the top spicy which left me eating just a bite.
The mattar paneer was very tasty. It's been a while that I had a good paneer dish. The gravy had great flavours, the paneer was soft and sometimes the peas aren't cooked properly, but these guys cooked their peas to perfect. The naan and the roti were well like a naan and a roti should be,
Next up was the mushroom and baby corn fried rice. So this is my observation of places like these. There is a similar place in Mumbai that is like Sukh Sagar and for some reason, all these places make really good Chinese. I'm sure no one would recommend you to go to a place like this for Chinese, but i definitely would at least the rice (not tried the Chinese gravy as yet).
Another great thing about this place is the service. It's very quick and they keep coming to your table to ask you if you would like anything else which is a good thing because you don't need to call them all the time.
Highly recommend this place for vegetarians.
Regular breakfast place for my South Indian cravings.
Must try the butter plain dosa and the crispy vadas they serve even at 12pm. I haven't seen another place serve fresh vadas that late.

The chaats and panneer varieties are good and served with spicy chutney and ketchup. We went there in the afternoon post lunch. We were Lil hungry. The price is lil expensive for the decent menu.
We have tried both south indian as well as the north indian cuisine here and have liked it. The Northern Curries aren't gourmet style but more than reasonably better compared to what is served in most of the places which are predominantly into South Indian fare. The dosas, idlis and stuff is as usual quite good. The place is quite neat and clean though there can be a bit of rush during peak dining hours. Pavbhaji and Falooda are highly recommended.
I don't care whatever crap it is about dining or parking or anything...I am writing this only from the perspective of breakfast...if you want a good - decent breakfast,especially masala dosa....this is the right place

Been there with my parents when they visited me. They loved the food. Dad being pure vegetarian still talks about the food here.
We took seat in A.C. section of restaurant. Ordered harassment bhara kebab and Gobi Manchurian.
They were good. Sweet corn soup was average types and my kid dint like it.
Fried rice was good. Dosas were also good.
Service was bit slow. They close their kitchen by 10 PM. So go there bit early.
If u want good north indian food near kalyan nagar i wud suggest go for this place. Try paneer tikka masala gravy, dal tadka, kesari bhath, and their filter coffee..a good change in taste from the usual dosa/idli..
Good taste at an affordable price! The quantity that they serve is also really good.. But I found the service way too slow.. They used to take lot of time to deliver food to table after it is ordered.. The Ambience is also good..
Been here couple days ago and it was satisfactory indeed. Contrary to the ratings here the food was good. We ordered the noodle soup which was delicious and fresh. Then had the Spanish Manchurian which is more like veg Manchurian rolled in spinach gravy ,but it very good and th quantity was very good (13 pieces). Finally had the rava masala dosa as someone on zomato suggested and it was superb.the restaurant has a good ambience and the waiters were polite.
This place is a OK place to visit once in a while. Food is good here especially the Veg Dopiaza and Peas Pulao. Offlate staff has changed and proper attention is paid to the needs of the customer which was a major issue earlier.
It is my favourite breakfast destination. Im a huge fan of south Indian food. If I could, i would have my breakfast here everyday. The rava masala dosa is the yummiest of what they have on the menu. The crispy plain dosa, soft idly, and perfectly balanced chow chow, puri sagu, onion dosa are all delicious. Their filter coffee makes my day. Have visited this place like hundreds of times. I prefer stand and eat option, as it is quicker. The dine-in service is a lil slow. And never go for dine in on the first floor (Super slow service, esp on weekends).. Go for the food only.
I have been visiting this restaurant since I moved to bangalore in 2007. I quite happy to say that quality of food has not changed at all. My favorite dishes here are: Set Dosa, Pav Bhaji, North Indian curries: Palak Paneer, Baingan Bartha, Veg Hyderabadi, Veg Kholapuri etc, Starters are also good but sometimes not cooked up to the mark. Once I packed 2 boxes of Palak Paneer for office for potluck and the delivery was very quick. Coffee also tastes awesome. Kalyan nagar people are really lucky to have this restaurant.
A friend took me here, since I'd been missing north cuisine for so long.. We jus barged in n ate or hearts out tonight... The food tastes really good... Though it may not be the best you've had. Comes at a pretty decent price too! Go for it... No regrets!
Nice place. Like their South Indian n handi biryani a lot. But don't expect a 5* in ambience n service.

I just love to grab your masala dosa and the sweet goodies outside.
Food is very good. And although they seems busy with high number of foot falls but they still pay attention if someone seeks it. Poori ordered in thaali was cold. They exchanged it with the hot ones. Then, I wanted some vegetable which came as the extra one but when I asked for butter mil in thaali then they said that it will cost you more. To which I was little surprised. How can someone give on e thing extra but another for money. But, then to m,y surprise they offered me butter milk extra as well. And I promised to myself that this place can be tried more often. And their rates are too good.
Veg Hyderabadi biryani is simply awesome !! You will just love the spicy taste of it !! Must taste this !!
I am a regular at Sukh sagar in koromangala. The one here at Kalyan nagar is not bad , but the sambar in koromangala is to die for. Overall much above average when compared to other sagars !!!
A clean darshini offering good Dosa, idly, Vada, coffee etc as well as North Indian items. The food is tasty.

Perfect place for evening snacks in economical budget. I'd Paneer chilli, Gobi Manchurian & Dahi Papadi chat which were perfect snacks. Very well prepared. The restaurant is self service one. Hygiene is maintained well.
This place has good ambience and taste. It's wonderful to come here with your family,if you have South Indian taste. The dishes on chefspecial are must to try.

Sukh Sagar is a very good restaurant for a traditional Bangalore (mangalore/Udupi) breakfast/lunch/dinner …you can expect good quality food at pocket friendly rates….it’s self service..there is a fine dine on top but it might not be open all days …Wash room is missing on the ground floor..all together a great experience for the related they offer

This hotel is far better compared to other veg restaurants near by. This place is really maintained well and decent price on food . The taste of food is moderate . Good for North Indian Dishes and poor taste in South Indian Dishes . Coffee and Tea tastes well. Don't think twice to visit this place. Go for it .....

Excellent place, nostalgic for me as I visited this place after many years, was apprehensive if it’s still or lost its charm. But this place doesn’t disappoint. On the main road, we found the partying place for our bike easily. Ambience - clean but I feel they should redo the place and improve the overall ambience. The food - we ordered butter masala dosa, this was A class, we were coming here after trying dosas from all over, even the TAJ dosa doesent match up. We then tried paani puri which was good. We also ordered faluda ice cream which was again very good.

Came from Chennai to Bangalore to attend an audio-visual. I and three of my friends had only Mysuru masala dosa at Sukh Sagar and all of us liked it. I do not remember the exact location but the washroom (located on the first floor) was pathetic and stinking.
Foods are good as usually like other sagar hotels.
They have AC dinning on the first floor and the prices compared to normal dining it's in higher side.
Otherwise they maintain it neat and clean in both the floors
