Regarding food, Sambar taste is really good and delicious. It came from real south indian cuisine. Its exactly like from my home, which is the best for me. Please maintain this taste sincere request.
#Sambar #SouthIndian #Nellore.
Top class dosa nd quality according to given instructions, I m from North so I could feel North Indian taste in it.. Thank u fr service, keep it up
Best place to have dosa, Poori, Pongal. The taste is very good. Chola puri for dinner is yummy. The hotel is neat one. You can get tea coffee and fresh juices too.
I loved their Sambhar and Chutney. Sambhar was not sweet or watery like it is in other breakfast places. Everything was hot and fresh. Items were reasonably priced.
food was good with on time delivery.
Ordered a breakfast combo from this place online. One word to describe the food experience – ‘bliss’. The combo had a single idli, vada, poori, masala dosa, pongal, and kesari bath. All items are tasty. But more than the items, the coconut chutney and sambar were simply delightful. Just the way they have to be, period. Will definitely frequent this place!
Food is awesome here, try poori, and spl dosas which makes you feel awesome, only one thing that is worried here is parking place. It's very less
The paratha cholam masala combination provided here is too good. The dal curry and chutney also goes alongwith very well. Me and my friends have this combination here. The price is also within limits
I have known this place since 6+ years. I was working nearby that time, I have always liked their dosa with variety of chutneys. I like Manchurian also, very tasty one.
Similar to adigas i usually take the breakfast combo here.for a samll joint, they do provide decent food here.
pricing could have been better.. but overall a good experience.
Tiffins and some snacks are good here. Prices are reasonable to buy. Dosas and chutneys are good in taste. Also fresh filter coffee is very good.
A small, budget friendly food joint where you can have tasty dosas and snacks. Ghee roast, masala vada and mirchi bhajji are tasty. The quality and quantity, both are up to the mark. Its a small joint which is self-service. The ambiance is not very good but the food is totally worth it.
I keep visting this place (thanks to my client who are located right next to the hotel) for their excellent juices and coffee. Had lunch also couple of times, seating is a bit limited, but good for a quick bite.

Southinn !
Fast Food with South Indian Cuisine in 7th Sector on 20th Cross. They serve Breakfast, Thali, Snacks, Tandoori Items and Beverages. They serve only Vegetarian food with outdoor seating. This is very good pocket friendly restaurant in and around locality.
They had a quite good menu like South Indian, North Indian, Combo's, Snacks, Beverages.
Ordered South Indian Thali.
Thali had Payasam, Parota, Kurma, Palya, White Rice, Papad, Dal, Samabar, Rasam and Curd.
It was simple and economic meal for one to consume.
Food items were hot and fresh.
Restaurant infrastructure was not upto the mark, it was something like mess, but food was tasty.

Good place for quick south Indian bite, coffee over here is good,
price is economical..
and items taste also good....
Overall a good restaurant by the main road
This is my daily breakfast place . Very close to my office and one among few restaurants which serves south indian dishes in HSR 7th Sector area .
Ghee Roast over here is awesome (sonetimes) . They make great Ghee Roasts sometimes (different chefs *maybe) . The rate is also very decent .
White chutney is something which i like a lot over there and their vada as well though its a bit too oily always .
Small new place for quick bites, though they serve lunch and dinner too but have a limited menu. There staff need to be more courteous than they are now. We had ordered onion bhajji, masala Vada and tea. The person at the counter was really courteous and told us that Vada would be cold, and bhajji would be fresh. And so it was .. nice place 😊
In the days when a single idli is being charged for 58 /-, this small restaurant mainly for breakfast items is a boon in HSR layout. Taste is home like nothing fancy. All the breakfast items are good.
Taste - 3.5
Service - 3
Ambience - 3
Value for money - 4
I am a little sad to see that Southinn is one of the underrated south indian food stalls in Zomato. Infact, i found the closest to Tamil nadu dosa here. The dosa and idli both are so soft, they just melt in the mouth, not to forget, they serve authentic nariyal chutney and sambhar. love the tomato chutney also. Pocket friendly, hygienic and tasty!
Idli, vada, variety chutneys and sambar is excellent. Puri and sago is also very tasty. Ambience is basic but the food makes up for it. Coffee and tea is alright. Value for money. Great place for south Indian breakfast
The food here is really good..
Especially south Indian dishes.
And the best part is the prices are decent.
We order food online almost once in every 2 weeks from this place.
My goto restaurant when I'm hungry. Excellent food with reasonable price. Combined with a good ice cream and juice parlour, this is the best place to visit again and again.
This is a good place for some veg food. We need to order first and then wait for food. They has a lot of variety of food. They serve one of the best podi idly it is very tasty and their dosas is also good. Good for breakfast and dinner. They have enough seating capacity inside. Pocket friendly place and VFM place.
If you wish to eat yummy kuzhi paniyaram, then this place is one of the best in Bangalore. The prices are moderate and the place is very clean
One more average south indian restaurant in HSR. Serving very average food, Visited many times n every time taste was different, 😂 But the menu is budget friendly.. you can try this place for lunch..
Not much great.. but somewhat good. The location here is awesome, Tea is Much good here, with thick milk and tasty, you can get a Tea here and sit on outside chair and enjoy..!
It's a good place for hangout and for grabbing a quick bite. We frequent this place after our classes for their amazing chole bhaturas and podi idli. The ambiance is good and clean and is priced decently. The quantity is sufficient and tasty. The staff is really friendly juices are really something you shouldn't miss out on.
I had breakfast today and it was very good. Infact the pongal had the authentic taste of Tamil Nadu. The sambar was good too.Felt that the food is better than Adigas.
Decent place for a quick snack. Pretty much affordable as well. We ordered like 2 massla dosa, 1 mendu wada, 1 kanda bajiya (though it didn't look anywhere close to that but it did taste good) and 4 tea... all like 200 bucks. Where would you get that today.
Nice little restaurant to have tasty south Indian dishes. Usually, if you visit this place over weekend which I do ;) (every weekend) you may find it crowded & hard to find a place, as it's a small place and comparatively less no. of tables. Sharing table always works ;). Talking about the items they serve is good and worth the price. I usually opt for breakfast combo + filter coffee which gives you almost everything on the plate and found it good. Later, i did tried their Gobhi Manchurian which was good, crisp and tasty.
Adding to it they have juice counter too where you can have variety of juices/shakes, sandwiches till now I have tried sapota and butter fruit which I felt can be improved as I had better shakes then this.
It's a nice place which you can try out when you need a break from your kitchen and you are willing to have south Indian breakfast.
Happy Eating!!!
Located at 7th sector on 5th main this is a small udupi style restaurant serving South Indian quick meals & breakfasts.
They have a prepaid counter and serve South Indian breakfast, Juices, Tea/Coffee, Sandwiches in ground floor which is self-service area and a serviced area in first floor. it gets crowded during peak hours and you have to wait to find a place to sit or stand to eat
I love the Masala dosa, Rawa dosas here also Idli & sambhar are good in breakfast. The good thing is that they don't use too much oil or spices in Dosa.
Service at times is sloppy and often unhygienic, Chef who took order at counters often forget about it and you have to remind them that you placed an order also sometimes they forget using gloves.
Dosas are served with three types of chutneys and are quite large in size.
Coffee is good & Tea is generic and are served all day long.
They Also serve Sandwiches but the chef has no idea hot to grill them ad it feels dry and rough and tasteless which they need to improve upon.
Its quite cheap also with prices ranging from 30-60 for all items.
Things to Have at Breakfast: Idli Sambhar, Masala Dosa, Coffee
Lunch: South Indian Meal (makes your tummy full)
Quality: 3/5
Hygiene: 3/5
Service: 3.5/5
Value for Money: 5/5
A small restaurant which has managed to make an identity among the big-shots(high end restaurants) in HSR due to the cost-effectiveness and the authentic taste. This place is always busy with lots of people pouring in for their daily meals. Nothing fancy about this place but I prefer it for nice idly, vadas and filter coffee of course :-)
They have a sandwich and juice counter as well but haven't tried it. Meal for 2 will cost less than 200 bucks.
At the first sight this place looked like a small eating joint to me. Well its actually a darshini style restaurant. Though its small but this place is good.
I love this place for their South Indian Breakfasts! The pricing is decent and the food is good, fresh and the quantity is also decent . In particular I love the Masala Dosa here.
Found out southinn from friends and zomato. It's a pleasant surprise to find a decent eatery close to home; and now I know from where to order breakfast on those lazy weekend mornings.
We tried out their breakfast combo and loved it. Followed by filter coffee to seal the deal 😊
It's mostly a typical 'udupi' styled breakfast joint; no frills or fancy ambience to dish up, but in general serves good food.
We come here often and I find the food here well-prepared and the price very economical. Southinn is meant for people looking to grab a quick yet proper south-Indian meal.
It has a non-ac, no-door ground floor space where they serve some good south-Indian dishes. The quantity is decent, quality is good and the pricing is pocket-friendly - tough to ask for more in such a situation.
They have a self-service system with a pre-paid counter. Masala dosa @ 45, Onion Rawa Masala dosa @ 50, an elaborate South Indian Lunch combo @ 70 and juices @ 20-25 make for a pleasant quick fix for a meal on a lazy weekend afternoon when you simply don't want to cook. Btw, the menu card on Zomato is an old one - needs to be updated.
A small south Indian eatery that serves decent food at a decent price - that's what describes this place. We have become almost regular customers of this small place. I like their dosas and lunch combo. It is a place which can act as a saviour for most of us who might not feel like cooking after a long day in office.
Its a small food outlet. The food is great over here. And the prices are also quite reasonable. Overall it's a good place for having breakfast.
It is nice little restaurant with some brilliant south indian cuisines. It is more of a tiny joint for a quick dinner. But the quality of the food and the vast list of items on the menu will surprise you! One of the best places in HSR for a good quick south Indian dinner.
I like this restaurant as the breakfast tastes very good .. Ambience is not good at all. Its a quick serve restaurant. They have a smalls facility at top for buffet. I have only had breakfast and south indian items are really yummy,
Visited this place on a Saturday morning. It is a small food joint specialising in south Indian breakfast. The ambiance, hygiene is pretty average. Good thing is you get to sit and eat for the price comparable to a Darshini.
I ordered Masala dosa, was surprised to find the size of it quite big compared to normal.
The food was tasty, the quality was good and the service was quick.
Would revisit this place to try the other varieties.
I cannot stop myself from saying that South-Inn is one of the finest restaurant in HSR layout know for Tamil nadu style IDLIE's and Dosa's. I give importance to quality and taste, and this one definitely fits the bill.. Their South Meals are pretty good and reasonable. It's an authentic South indian style restaurant, however they do specialize in North Indian items too. The staffs were very kind and serving... I have been to Adigas couple of times, it's the worst I have ever experienced in my life. To experience yourself, please buy Pongal and Idli in South Inn and Adigas and compare it, you will feel the difference. The place might look little cramped, however given the price quality I am a regular here for the last 5 to 6 months. I am having food twice a day here in South Inn and I must admit that I am completely satisfied with their service...
Consistently good food worth your money. Servings sizes of the sides are great. I used to order from here often on Swiggy. Haven't visited a physical outlet yet though I'm sure it would be great.
Verdict: Extremely pocket-friendly. Clean food. Can vouch for it.
My favourite weekend breakfast place. They have got the authentic Tamil Nadu taste to their chutneys & sambar, which I consider, to be the best form of South Indian food.A simple, pocket friendly place.I am yet to try out their Morning Buffet menu.
Another easy to miss restaurant. Excellent South Indian tiffin. Try any one of their dosas. If you're there for dinner, try podi idli. Excellent coffee too. Juice vendor serves Kokum juice which can be very refreshing.
5 star rating. I have been visiting this restaurant from so many years, I have only eaten ghee masala Dosa, chai or coffee over and over again in this restaurant. It's just amazing that they don't put red chutney on Dosa and makes really thin dosas and is serviced with three chutneys and sambhar. The food here is really cheap when compared with other Darshins in Bangalore. I visit HSR only to eat here, may be its personal choice, I am surprised to see that there are not much fans for this place.
Use to be a very good South Indian restaurant, good for tamilnadu style breakfast and snacks. Appears like minor degradation in its standards after the pandemic.
Tea ☕🫖 is much better than the variety of teas you get next to it. On the first floor, you get banana leaf authentic South meal. Overall it's a good place for a quick fill. Value for the money, the overall moderate experience you could expect. 👍
Tasty and higenic food.
Standards of quality, taste and cleanliness has been maintained consistently over several years.
Health factor: Extremely low oil.
Volume/quantity is best for the price (Economical).
Skimming pricing is not seen even in post Covid-19 time.
One of the best in the HSR Layout locality, out of a handful of similar restaurants.
Food varieties: Vegitarian South Indian, Chinese fast foods, Juices, Sandwiches and Ice Cream.
Suitable for breakfast, mini lunch and mini supper.
Cons: Slightly compact place.
Extremely affordable and tasty breakfast. This is amongst the must visit breakfast spots in Bangalore.Neatly maintained.
Self service.
Food is served in arecanut plates.
Millet products are available
Overall it's good..
Dosa is good. Value for money.
I like ghee roast dosa. I regularly go here.
A good place for a quick idli vade dose breakfast. There's a chai shop next to it, which makes it convinient for chai sutta lovers after a breakfast.
Visited this restaurant a few times. Recently ordered online and the food tastes the same. One of the restaurants I suggest for the veggies
It is rare to find a good dosa. Here I am very much satisfied with the food. Loved it
For the price food is really really hygienic and staff is polite. I dont know why this restaurant has low reviews despite offering hygienic food.
Good place for the south Indian food treat. The food tastes great and also the place is clean, hygienic and economic.
