All dishes are yummy š good place, good service
Are you looking for a wide variety of cuisines?
Are you doubtful if the taste will be good?
Well, seek no further. Sagar is THE place for a delectable food experience.
Ordered vada pav for starters and it was full of flavours. It was packing so many flavors and the chilli only added to it.
Next on the place was chilli corn manchurian and misal pav. The misal pav was one of the very few near authentic one I had outside Maharashtra and the corn manchurian was delicious too.
The butter tava pulav and the spring rolls were as delectable as they could be.
Overall a great dining experience. šÆ/šÆ would recommend.
All 3 milk shakes r good must try š
Sagar restaurant in Rajajinagar
It has all varieties of food
Open till midnight 2am
Lovely place
Get all varieties of snack and chats and milkshakes along with North Indian food
Mood for some munchies on a cold late evening?? Well, here's Gobi Manchurian and pav bhaji. Delicious to the S. Perfect spicy starter to the rescue š»š. Also the mango shake is one of the rare thick shakes.
Sagar is a legendary place to grab a quick bite. People from all walks of life and age groups are seen here. Pav bhaji, Pani Puri, tawa pulav, dhabeli and their custards are evergreen and fast moving. Since the restaurant has aged, interiors feel cramped and stuffy. But folks who are fine standing and eating will have no reason to complain. Enjoy the fast paced light food experience with rates slightly above average....
Sagar is famous for their special mango milkshake, priced at ā¹140 which I think is honestly too overpriced. But worth a try. It was really good.
The tawa pulao and pav bhaji are one of the must tries here. The taste was on point.
Chats are good.. tava pulavo and the legendary mango milkshake is scrumptious
It's a perfect place to fulfill midnight cravings and the magnificent dishes one would not miss eating each time when visited .
This place is famous for too many dishes though it has high price but the food and quality is worth that money .
Speaking of famous items such as the fresh jalebi's( completely ghee fried) , butter tawa pulao , Mumbai's famous Vada Pav , Dabeli , Misal Pav , Fafda and Mango Milkshake are some which one shouldn't miss trying
One amazing place for sweets and chaats. It is usually crowded with fellow chaat lovers. They have a variety of sweets and chaats options. It is a good place for evening snacks. You should definitely try this place when you are around Navrang. It is worth the wait to taste their yummy chaats.
Masala puri & yummy mango milkshake š¤¤this place is mainly known for itās yummy mango milkshake which is topped with mango peices and fresh creamššbit costly but worth it.
Yummy food in budget around Rajajinagar. Must visit for pani puri, fafda jalebi, mango milkshake, samosa bhel, tawa palav and lot more!
Serves you the closest comparison of the 'Typical' Bombay tava pulav that you would rather have only in Bombay.
Have Been Visiting This Wonderful Place To Have Wonderful Chats And North Indian Dishes Since 1990s ... Their Jalebi And Pav Bajhi Is Excellent ... They Have Been Maintaining Their Hygiene,Taste And Standards Vertu High From Very Long Time
The prices mentioned by Zomato delivery is higher online as compared to buying it directly from store..for eg mango shake is 140 at store and 180with the online delivery portal
A place which got started from a small room in 1988 is one the famous Chaat places in Bangaloreš. If you are looking for a place where you want to try chaats just like how it tastes in Bombay don't miss going to this place as the owner of this place is also from Bombay. A place open till 1am at night is packed most of the times and where you won't have place to stand too at times during the weekend. Variety of chaats Chinese North Indian items present and most of them in the menu are worth trying š¤¤š¤¤ You get mango shake throughout the year and don't miss a chance of trying this šš it has become one of my favorite places šš
Loved the mango Milkshake n kadak Roomali Roti...Ragada Patis was also good..a must try place for North Indian style foods.
Wannna eat some mouth watering chats
The best place to go.
The mango milkshake is being the best from all time
Definitely will miss out if you havenāt tried the fafda n Jalebi here
Best place to chill and hangout...
Perfect north indian dishes available here
It's worth for your money !

This is one of the best places for chaats in bangalore. Iāve been going here for almost 10 years now. The vadapav, jalebi and fafdas are a must have.
Totally loved this place. Fafda jalebi are too good. š¤¤šš Chats are also good. Price little high but taste is worth it.
Best place ever to have chaats.. everything we tried was amazing..will keep visiting this place..i recommend this place to everyone
This Sagar is one of the oldest restaurants of bengaluru, and its very famous for their mango milkshake (seasonal), a must visit place during mango season, and they prepare tasty chats also, their thin sev which I die for š. This restaurant open till late night so can take a drive at night and visit this restaurant. Don't mis Mango shake in coming season.
The place is good for the variety of food it serves and the seating space, but it's too crowded and on the road all the time. Hygiene and cleanliness is zero.

Sagar has been our weekend go-to spot since ages now.
They make hands down the best jalebis, Dabeli, Vada pav and Special mango shake.
I also love their dahi puri and special pani puri.
Definitely try them!
Iām not a fan of the seating though! Itās super small and congested
Sagar hotel which is situated in Rajajinagar is one of the best place for quick bites. This place is always crowded and is loved by people of every generation. If you are in search of a place which serves hot and crispy jalebis, then this is the place for you guys.
They have also opened a new dosa stall, which is worth trying.
Must try - Mango shake, Jalebi, Vada pav, Dabeli, Tutty fruity special (Gadbud)
Food was awesome and delivered on time. Value for money. Preferred less oil for the gravy.I think phulkas had to be wrapped in a aluminium foil or something that would keep them hot which was not done.
Noticed one more thing, there is no pick up option on zomato for this restaurant. It would he great if we had one.
Itās very old ad famous places at Rajajinagar we get variety of chats and snacks items, evening time we can visit places ,
Been going here for more than 13 years!! Hasnt changed and is always what we look out to when we are completely craving for anything at all!
The best vada pav and dabeli in town. The taste of the vada pav is the closest it can get to mumbai vada pav. steaming hot and spicy always. I can go the leangth and breadth of the city to have the vp and kd here. You will hardly find place to sit in the service section. 30 mins wait is guaranteed. Best is to hog standing outside and have a lovely feel of the bangaloreās busy traffic. Jalebis, fafda, gola is also worth a try. Fafda is absolutely good and served with papaya(something- which I should ask for).
Heard about this from a friend and ever since wanted to visit it once. Their jalebis, pav bhaji, tawa pulav and chats are to die for. Did not like Manchurian, falooda and samosa bhel. Rest all things served was good. Will definitely go back.
We recently discovered this hotel after looking into the Mango shake they prepare, it is very unique in Bangalore although other states have this, first in our city i guess.
Must try are - Mango shake, Pav bhaji, Chats, Tava palav.
Taste - 5/5
Ambience - 3/5
Value for money - 4.5/5
Mango shake - 5/5 - This is special in this place and needs special review.

Finally got to visit this place. Ambience is kind of old but it was very neat and the service was quite quick. Had
1. Ragada Paties (3/5) - this was less spicy and didnāt really had any taste. Disappointed :(
2. Tawa Pulav Butter (4/5) - Chat flavoured pulav rice with little amount of veggies and butter. Taste was really great and I felt the veggies could have been more in quantity.
3. Special Mango Milkshake (5/5) - Finally tried the so called Bangaloreās best mango milkshake. The shale thickness was right on point with
Mango chunks and malai on top. Must try! Absolutely loved it
An excellent place.. Have been going to this place from almost 10 years. The taste is still the same. Amazing chats, vada pav, milkshakes, sandwiches ahhhhh.. The list goes on.. Anything u pick is at its best
Must try - vada pav, masala pav, pav bhaji, mango milkshake, jilebi, papadi, pani puri, aloo sev puri
Best place to have tasty food in the night
It is open till 2 in the morning šÆšÆ
Tava Palav Vada Pav Dabheli and Pav Bhaji are the best dishes š¤¤š¤¤
It's a lot of fun to have food outside rather than dine in during night time
Love the taste here and makes you come here again and again for more..
A crowded and zero parking place, good menu with a vast choice and value for money pricing.
First time saw a mobile cash counter moving around on road and collecting cash and giving tokens.
Surely a must visit
Awesome food. Been for Lunch, Dhabeli was classic, Khadi Rumali Roti was very tasty with lot of flavour and Mango shake was Mouthwatering...very yummy.
What's In Your Menu.?!

As lot of people were talking about Mango shake from this place, we wanted to try on summer evening & taste it was one word- Fantabulous.! They give Slice of Mangoes where in you have to slurp and eat. Definitely everyone will love it.
Being legendary hotel, this place is crowded in the evening. We don't get place to sit and eat. Most of them need to stand out and food will be served outside. We ordered Pav bhaji -which was vice nice and they give 4 pieces of pav which is ample with bhaji. Pani poori is the best as they give lot variety of sides along with it.
This is the best place to have chats and definitely will visit again for tasting more dishes.!
Awesome place for quick bites. They serve the tasty food for affordable price. This place is usually crowded and on weekends over crowded. I like the pav bhaji and vada pav very much here. Must try this place by everyone if youāre in this neighbourhood.
Was here on a rainy saturday evening. Just for a manga milkshake. Indeed was happy having it. But felt it over priced . Not really worth the š°.
May be if they make it more affordable for people can try it once more .
Second visit was here for a north indian cuisine.
Happy about the taste.
Ordered panner butter masala, roti , butter kulcha and butter parota.. and end with vegetable biryani. All were good.
Best restaurant to have north Indian food. This is an iconic place. Have been for years and yet the best! Must visit for pav bhaji, mango milkshake and there legendary sitaphal milkshake (seasonal).
Jalebi and fafda here melts in mouth.
Space crunch is the only problem here.
Sagar is one of those places you find, and be committed to as long as it exists! My brother in law, who used to live in Rajajinagar, used to rave about the Mumbai style food there as well as the Chana Bhatura. My sister speaks at length about the āOld Bangaloreā style Gobi Manchurian, with conviction. When I finally went there and tried the mentioned dishes and more, I was blown away!!
Ambiance wise, thereās a cramped indoor air conditioned area. If you arrive early during lunchtime, you might get a place. Or youāll have to make do in the slightly more accommodative non-ac area. Thereās also the option of having beverages and snack items over the counter on the footpath. Either ways, thereās something for everyone.
Itās āmulti-cuisineā, but one of those ultra rare places that has gotten it right! However, I stick to my staples here. The best Chana Bhatura in Bangalore, with a side of amazing Gobi Manchurian Dry and their legendary Mango Milkshake (seasonal). Since Iām always there with company, I get a variety thanks to others. Iāve yet to try the Vada Pav, something that many claim is very true to the Mumbai style. I always keep telling myself āNext timeā, but end up ordering my same holy trinity again. Well, Vada Pav next time... š
To sum it up, one of Bangaloreās jewels.
Service 4/5

One of the awasome place to awaken your taste buds.
We waited for almost 45mins to get a table on a weekend.
I have been there on a weekend with my family. We ordered vadapaw, tawa pulav, dabeli and a huge masala cheese papad (I don't remember the name of it), all the dishes are equally good and tasty.
At the end we ordered Mango milkshake, which was great and a single glass of it will fill your stomach.
We had a great experience. Looking forward to visit this place again.
Been here only for their famous mango milkshake.
They have full glass and half glass of mango milkshake which is heavenly delicious šā¤ļø....they top it with some mango chuncks and with cream which will make u come here again to try this out.
If you are craving for street food you should try this place in Rajajinagar. You can try different chat items, dabeli, vada pav, pav bhaji, khaman dhokla, etc. I personally have come across very few places in Bangalore which offer such tasty Vada paav. Apart from street food, you can have regular meal items as well. The place is very crowded on weekends.
If you are from Bangalore and never tried sagar hotel then what are you doing? This is a must visit place be it whether with your family or friends or alone. This restaurant is going from so many years, a decade for sure! Pocket friendly.
You'll get varieties of chaats, milkshakes and juices. Their veg pulav, mango milkshake and pav bhaji are a must! You can just come in pajamas and chill out here. It is always crowded during night time so better to come early. I love a lot of items here and it has become a usual hangout spot with my family here. Thanks a lot for serving us always. Not even once they have disappoint us. Go and check out this place you would love it!
Ancient Legendary Hotel ! Heard alot abt their chats and esp Mango juice ! Well Could try only mango..will try chats the next time....Each Mango shake is 140...Which i felt it was expensive for their quantity....! š¶š
Must try chat is sevpuri, sev melts in your mouth. Chats are best. Mouth watering Tawa palav!! š And during summer, mango shake is the best. All the food items available here tastes great. Worth visiting several times.
Visited last evening around 4 pm , and Bengaluru crowd was yet to arrive. Had ordered pav bhaji, sev puri and masala puri. Taste was good but seemed over priced.
Pav bhaji tastes good, but that authentic tinge was missing. But for Blore standard was fine.
I missed trying mango shake, will definitely try next time.
They have open counter and indoor sitting too. Ambiance was good, but still few tables weren't cleaned.
Overall good place for chats and Eve snacks
No doubt food is good here but really expensive for no reason. Always crowded. Food here has almost authentic taste. Really spicy. Tawa Pulav, Pav Bhaji, Misal Pav, Dabeli and our all time favourite Mango Shake. Best to have

On my bookmarks for a while and finally visited this legendary place in Rajaji Nagar ! They are famous for their chaats and that's why we were here too. One can either stand and savour outside or be seated in an air-conditioned dining area as well. With summer peaking, we decided it was best to be seated inside. Ragda Pattice and Dahi Aloo Puri with some lime soda was how our order looked like ! Perfect ragda with good patty and dahi based chaat always the best ! Soda was a bit tad sweet probably too much sugar ! Parking is on the street outside. Service is quick and pricing decent !
Famed for seasonal mango and sitaphal milkshakes, this place also draws a huge crowd for its chaats and vegetarian fast food.
The indoors are perennially flooded with people and the outdoors are confusing. The food collection counters for chaats, jalebi, vada pav and milk shakes are all in different directions with no signages.
I found the pav bhaji here to be overrated, the misal pav, vada pav, jalebi and dhokla to be very good and the mango milkshake overpriced.
Rated 4/5 for food and 3/5 for the experience.
This place is always crowded and its always better to reach early. The food options available here is the best. the food was good and milkshake ordered was good as well.
I visited this spot and experienced the buzz firsthand.
They offer 2 different sizes / options in their "Viral" Mango milkshake.
Medium for Rs100 and Large for Rs150.
I chose Medium and yes it's totally worth the hype.
Taste = 9.5/10
Also tried Dark chocolate ice-cream which is worth the Money.
Overall satisfied with the Quality + quantity + taste of the food served herešÆ
I visited this place and got an experience of what this hype truly was about. They serve mango milkshakes all year round (not sure how they get the mangoes) and they were delicious. The restaurant itself is divided into different counters for different menu items. Most of the people had to stand on the road while eating as their sitting area is almost always fully occupied.
The restaurant at this point should be fully aware of the fact that they are on demand. It baffles me as to why they do not focus on managing the crowd better. Opt to go to this place if it is just an awesome place of food that you are looking for. Anything other than that is going to leave you disappointed.
Food:
Bhindi masala with roti - Mildly spiced semi-gravy with aromatic masala and bite-sized bindi; hot and soft which went very well with the rotis š„°
Butter vada pav - Super spicy, crunchy vada with red chili paste filling on the bread with saturated chili by its side; the buttery pav and the red chili took it way ahead on the taste-o-meter š¤©
Open paneer masala dosa - Topped with loads of shredded paneer, aloo masala with spicy gunpowder, this one could've had a bit of salt to compensate for the gooey toppings, SUMPTUOUS & VERY FILLING š¤
Pav bhaji - Very buttery bread glazed evenly, mild spiced bhaji masala which was flavorful from the rich spices āŗļø
Salt lassi - Similar to salted buttermilk but very thick, so smooth, and the perfect tummy coolant š
Samosa chaat - Hot & mild spiced gravy filled with broken samosa, peas, and bhel; slurpy, minty, and had the right tanginess along with a sour taste, GOOD š
Special Mango milkshake - BEST EVER!! Ultra thick rich sweet milkshake served with a combination of condensed milk, fresh milk, and Mango pulp topped with even more mango chunks, Awemazing!!! ā¤ļøā¤ļø
Ambiance/Price:
On the main road with a chat spot by the curb. Parking will always be a struggle since the adjacent street will always be beefed up with vehicles.
Dine-in spot was OK but looks cramped up for space. Hats off to the service since they served drive-in customers right to their cars even during heavy rain; and had quick attention to all calls. Pricing looks OK but their special milkshake always stays on the top of the chart both in price and quality!!
Today I went to Sagar, It was a nice visit here. One of my friends suggested to me that I should try Mango Shake and it was really good.
We ordered Masala Dosa and veg noodles, Noodles was good in taste with a perfect balance of spices neither too spicy nor like hakka.
But it's a bit costly in comparison with other restaurants.
Must visit place for mango loversā¦ they serve mango milk shake throughout the yearā¦ though it doesnāt taste exactly like eating mango but, it for sure does satisfy your taste buds giving a mango feeling. A bit costly though. They used to serve mango pieces as well on top previously but, they stopped it now.
Bit tough to find car parking space. You will get a lot of other items as well.
The Mango shake here is the star of the menu. I went to try this and then tried their strawberry shake too which was great too. The mango shake is amazing though. Tried the sev puri too and it was tasty too. The place has great vibes and is always crowded. Portion Size is good and pricing is quite reasonable.

This is a really nice and authentic place to enjoy North Indian flavours food in Bangalore. One of the famous items here is Mango Shakes which is really a must try when you are here. Fastfood and Chats are really good also they serve Tandoori Rotis and Various Punjabi curries. We tried Kutchi Dabeli and the taste was really nice. Tandoori Rotis and Dal Makhani were tasty too.
The restaurant is quite old I think. One will go back to old days after entering the restaurant. But the place is clean and well maintained.
There was huge crowd outside the restaurant where they have darshini kind of setup. I realised the reason for huge crowd after tasting food for the first time at this place. Food is just amazing.
Quality as well as quantity of food is quite good. I could see lot of people ordering Jilebi and fafda , Vada pav here. Will try it out next time.
I ordered Dahi bhel and Dhokla. Both were good. Don't miss the pulpy mango pulpy smoothie. It's a must to have.
Parking is quite a challenge here for the 4 wheelers specifically. Be mindful of this.
I have visited recently just to taste the famous mango juice here. It's very thick and tasty but the price is a little bit higher but I can't complain since they have been serving for years and the mangoes are also special. But just see everything then only buy, I have asked the billing person about the mango juice and he told 150/- each but later I found that there is a small cup as well.
And also they had varieties of Street foods like so many types of Vada pavs, pav bhaji and so on
The Mango Milk shake is nice and tasty.
Very clean environment.
If you are there by watching hype created by Instagram then you will disappointed.
Go with the neutral mindset.
Delicious Jalebi, Masala Roomali Papad & Mango shake. Must try.
Good to try are Pav Bhaji & Noodles.
Not to try is Pani Puri & Ragda Kachori if you are expecting Yellow matar. It has green matar so didnāt enjoy it much.
It's one of the best place i hae ever visited for chaats, they have all items available. We reached around 5pm evening it's nearby to Iskon temple ,mahalakshmi metro station and also Rajajinagar metro station but not walkable we have to take an auto which charges around 60rs (since it was the rainy day they charge more) to reach to the place, it was crowded š.
We waited in the queue for a few minutes to order through the online kiosk screen, it was an interesting experience to order. š As soon as we got the ticket, we placed our order to the counter and we got our Dabeli and delicious big glass Mango shake most recommended. Then the person made fresh hot vada for the vada pavs which was a great experience to watch him prepare for us fresh in such a awesome weather āļø. We got our fresh very spicy super yum tasty Mumbai styled Vada Pavs.We had samosa, other items also.
Families, friends all can visit it's a open standing area in the main road where we all had our snacks and drink. But they have a restaurant also in side where you can go inside and have it properly.
We visit the place regularly atleast once a month to try the tasty items. Don't miss to visit if you are a mango lover. You will not forget the taste.
There is parking available free of cost infront of the hotel.
So, firstly it is a very decent family place, with specialities in jalebi fafda, mango shake and beautiful romali Masala papad. Other food items and also fresh and delicious to eat. Service is good, we got our food with a good wait time.
This place is always full though. We went out on a busy night and got to wait 10 mins before we got a seat. Cleanliness is also a little bit of an issue. The table and the menu itself was a little dirty.
Overall highly recommended for food if you are not an aesthetic freak.
Recommended- 4/5
Best late night restaurant which serves best and yummy food!
Many think this place is famous for only Mango Juice and Chats. But no!
Starters, maincourse are good too.
Must tries are Pav Bhaji, Spl. Pani Puri, Bhel Puri, Tomato Soup, Babycorn Manchurian.
They give you the experience of best taste. They will suggest good food as ler your need.
Last time to order is 11.45PM.
Wait time to get seat is 20min in weekends even in late night!
There is A/C and Non-A/C seating. Service is fast. Menu is very huge and you get all items inside itself. No need to stand out and have food.
Mango juice was top notch. It had real taste of Mango with no added flavors. Thick too.
They give ot with cream on top of it. But we said No to cream.
There is no Parking facility here. You must look for parking in street.
The place is Kid friendly too.
Tip:
1. keep your Jacket with you as the A/C seating will be Too cold.
2. If you are only 2, don't go. The quantity is too high. Do visit in larger group to enjoy most food.
3. Order Half Mango shake for 2. Its heavy.
Food taste is very good especially pav bhaji, dabeli, bhel puri and their very own mango milkshake. But this place is very crowded on weekends
Yes this place is busy but worth the wait.
Amazing food , the chats , the roti and subziās , dessert all worth having based on what you like to eat. Thatās large cheese papad is too yummy and tempting.
That mango milk shake is epic.
This place is a true place for food lovers.
The service is lightning fast and they serve with a smile.
People do stand outside and eat too, itās quicker.
Do enjoy your food here and donāt forget to like this review.
I keep going back for their fafda jalebi. Although it's really famous for it's Spcl Mango Shake but I just find it a good mango shake that I get anywhere else with mango pieces in it. I don't find it worth 150/160rs.. Dabeli was also good, a little too sweet for my taste but I hear that's how it is in Gujarat so it's ok.
One of those must recommended eatery for vegetariansšš»
The food they prepare is so rich in quality n taste wise!
Tried 'Jalebi & Fafda', 'Tawa Pulao', 'Mango Milkshake' - all tastes damn well
Especially the unique 'Kadak Rumali' is a must try!! (Crispy, loaded with tomatoes, onions n lots of cheese)
Sometimes you need to wait for more to get seats inside to peacefully eat those delicacies!
