Your adda place next door. Most of the people visiting are the ones who come everyday. True to it’s name, they have variety of teas as well as snacks. Their ginger tea is quite a drink after the whole day’s tiredness. Maggi, Pao Bhaji, Pakodas.. you name it and they have it alongside your tea. But the only catch is getting a place . You might have to wait for sometime to get one as it is a very popular joint for people staying around.
Ordered maggie late night at 1am and they served it hot and tasty 😋 will definitely try out the chai and other varieties offered here!
Good place to hang out with your buddies. Seating facilities are really creative, i mean those traditional cots. And the cartoon pictures on the wall is cool. Food is good, especially onion pakodas not so oily and is tasty. Overall worth the money.
We went to this place for quick tea n snacks.. With not much expectations... But this place turned out to be awesome.
We tried adrak chai, it was so good that all of us had 2 cups.
In snacks, we tried onion pakoda, aloo chaat, paneer paratha, veg momos and bun msaska... All. Of them were very good and with good quantity.
Recommended: adrak chai, aloo chaat and onion pakoda.

This is one of the best hangout places in the city. They provide variety of teas and some nice food with an awesome ambience. They have an outside seating area which is smoke friendly. Sitting there with friends and having some meaningful conversations over some nice chai is priceless. I have tried the Chicken tikka & cheese Maggi which I liked very much to say the least. Overall I would highly recommend this place to everyone

The ambience is very good, the outdoor seating area is always occupied. The waiters are polite and arrive right when you look around for them. Even though most of the things they serve are simple snacks it tastes really good. The indoor seating area doesn't feel very clean. They don't ask you to leave, we can stay there for a while. They have the most politically correct name for the cafe. Pappu Chaiwalla.
Sadly I seldom find place to sit in the outdoor area of this place owing to its popularity. The indoor seating is what takes care of the concern but preferences. ;)
Needless to say, its Chai is what pulls me all the time here, and the vibrant environment with my favorite Jhaal mudi :-)

Been there many times and love the tea option there. They have good food options as well like momos, bread butter, vada pav. Chai from here is one of the good chai in town. They have indoor and outdoor sitting options.
Had gone to this place for dinner. Soo ambience wise it's a decent place outside as well as inside. You can get quickbites and more. Anyway, so i had ordered lemon ice tea, kheema pav, omlette kheema. Was good, and was affordable too

The food is good as well specially their egg dishes and maggi.
Coming to the ambience , it has a very warm and familiar ambience of a Tapri with wooden sets and iron boxes.

A place to hangout with friends and have some tea and snacks. Been there several times.. Although i am not complaining about the tea and snacks but it could have been better as per the price they charge.
It is a small place to accommodate max 20-25 people.
Tried their pappu ki chai, which is very very average in taste, even tried Sulemani chai and realised if next time i will order, will ask not to mix too much honey.. 🤣

Had been to this place on Sunday morning with few friends. A small place having a rustic feeling with a seating capacity of approx 25 pax. We ordered Chole Puri, Masala Omelette with Pav, Egg Bhurjee with Pav and Elaichi Chai. The Masala omelette & Egg Bhurjee were top notch. The chole puri was good and the tea tasted nice. The service was good & quick. A great place for good breakfast.
Good chill out place after hectic office hrs. Cheese Maggi , French Fries and all kind tea are must to be try. Prices are decent. Every time our bill use to come around 600 for 4 people.
I visit this place almost daily. This place is crowded during 6-8 pm on weekdays and 5 to 7 pm on weekends.

Apart from regular cutting tea I have tried there sulamani tea which has a lemon flavor similar to green tea.

Pappu is more like a backyard of my house than a tea corner. This place has most number of my greatest of memories. Firs of all, they have the most amazing chai in the whole Bangalore and the tastiest bun maska in the whole wide world! Now I know the ambience of the place isn't out of the world, but the outdoor seating is just super close to my heart. I've spent quite a lot mornings and evenings simply chilling here.

Simple chai! Try the sulemani lemon tea and the pappu chai cutting.
Lots of things to eat as well. Loved the anda pakoda. Half a boiled egg and half stuffed aloo. The pakoda are all simple and homely. Chilli cheese Maggi and masala cheese omelette is favourite.

The Sulamani Chai with mouth watering bread pakodas is a must try. 👌👌 If you visit during evening time, there are chances not to get an outdoor seating due to high demand ( af course the place is worth it ) 💕💕 Do try "Chai ke sath" section in the menu which gives wide variety of items to have with tea and other beverages of your choice. ❤️ Since the place opens up early by 7-8 Am , breakfast menu is available too.😍 Not to forget the staff is friendly and you can expect fast service.
One of the Best hangout spot in HSR. Small place with good occupancy which is mostly crowded, but finally made it to this place on Saturday. We ordered Tea and Omlet . Tea is good and food is okay. But best described as the Hangout spot 🤘

Had heard a lot about this chai outlet, and today happened to be just one of those days when I was crazily craving for some awesome chai.
Visited this outlet in the evening and tasted their Ginger chai and namakpara.
The chai was excellent to say the least. The ginger aroma transported me to a land never visited before...and almost cured my sore throat which was an outcome of the viral fever. Service was prompt.
Coming to the ambience of the place. Well... I am a sucker for good ambience and unfortunately this place cannot boast much on that front.
Overall, I would give it 4 stars.

Some of the best chai in HSR! A functional setup equally perfect for a quick catchup or a long conversation. And the dog in the premises is extremely adorable! All in all, this place sets one up for the day!
Very popular chai joint and has good open seating area but could be made a bit comfy if they throw in a few cushions because there isn't any back rest too.
The chai is good, I think more than the taste of chai it is popular because it is a chilling out point for mostly college students. Cheese maagi is good and the quantity is a lot too.

This place servers the best chicken keema pav and lemon tea.
I was here with my family. It's a really little cute cafe with not much place to sit comfortably but there's nothing to complain about it. We ordered for a lot of stuff as we were like really hungry! We had lemon tea, keema and mutton Keema pav, keema bread omlette, masala aloo toast and anda pav. All of these were good but the best out of all these were Chicken Keema Pav, keema bread omlette and lemon tea!!
These are a must try when you visit this place!

A small cute cafe at this locality, just got few tables outside and and few tables indoor, mostly we prefer to sit outside,, the menu was good lot of varieties at the optimum price,, we ordered the masala chai and the special chai,, it was just fabulous and was really a mood changer,, the sandwiches were also good as usual, the food was worth the money... The service was bit dull as its crowded the entire year,,
On a whole, a place to visit on a lazy evening with your gang of friends to spend your time productively.. Keep it up guys

This place is amazing for a lazy hangout with your friends after work. I come here almost daily. Their signature dishes like Pappu chai, Pappu ka apna sandwich, Pappu ka anda pav etc are tasty and filling. With reasonable rates and customer friendly and quick staff, this place is a must visit if you are around or in HSR Layout :)

I visited this joint with my friends and I had a mixed experience at this popular spot.
Starting with the positives, the ambiance and vibe of the place were good, and we enjoyed the ginger chai which was the highlight of my visit. Additionally, the seating and ambiance was pleasant, which is always a bonus when dining out.
However, there were some negatives to our visit as well. We struggled with parking my car, which can be a significant inconvenience, especially if you're traveling with a group. Also, the items on the menu were a bit pricey and not budget-friendly, which can be a deterrent for some visitors.
I’ve been here almost 4-5 times. It’s a no brainier in the evening if you’ve no other plans. Can be your your quick chai, pakoda, snack place and also has dinner options. Had dinner last night. The stuffed kulchas were amazing. Paneer main dish was slightly spicy (although we had specifically requested for it to be non-spicy). Guess they don’t personalize much. It was a weekday dinner time. So wasn’t crowded. Service was appropriate. No complaints there. Just one issue, that there’s hardly any mobile network inside there. We had to ask them to share their wifi password. Overall a decent place. Would definitely visit again.

Overall a decent place. The food was okay I found it a bit pricey we took 2 chai and a bun maska and had to pay around 165 bucks. The environment is nice . Good place to chill out with someone who smokes. They are pet friendly so you can bring your pets along.

Great place on HSR 19th main road to hangout with friends. There are lot of varieties in the menu. Ones I liked the most are Bhelpuri , sandwiches, poha and the tea ofcourse. It has both outdoor and indoor sitting. The outdoor sitting gives you a full street food vibe.

This place is known for chill and relax over chai. Good cozy place with both open and closed door setup. Ginger and lemon chai is the best. Smoking is allowed in the open area so, if you are looking for a chai + smoke + cozy place; you are at the right location.
Nice place for a good Chai/coffee & snacks with friends! The place gets too crowded during peak hours, though. While the quality of food is good, the service is slow. Very slow, to be exact. Consider this place only if you lots of time to kill!
FYI, non-smokers, if you're allergic to cigarette smoke, then you may not love the place.
I love tea and keep exploring options and this one turned out to be good. Pricing is descent. If u r non smoker it would be better to stay inside along with family. Outside it is more of groups of men having smoke along with chai.
It's an ideal place to hang out with group of friends. The entire atmosphere gives you a college like feel. You will get Maggie ,egg items and obviously tea.
The best chaiwala in HSR Layout. Two things are advised, normal tea and Stuffed bread pakora. It is too good. After having one combo, it is almost impossible to resist yourself from ordering another. A must try at least once for all the people in Bangalore. One other suggestion, avoid going on Sundays.
