The evergreen hangout spot for degree and coaching institute students. There are multiple Sairam’s in the area, but this one is the best. The taste is better than other outlets, the cold coffee is outstanding and the staff are extremely enthusiastic. They are even open up to 10.30pm.

After a small conversation with the staff decided to order something from the menu but was confused as the menu had soo much in it. So I thought of taking their suggestion.
We were given with anarkali chat, crazy chat, disco chat and student chat. Everything tasting soo good. Very unique name and taste. Would obviously recommend anyone to try this place.
We were just walking and my friend wanted to taste chats from here. We just tried one plate of dahi puri from here. It was on the above average scale. They used fresh dahi and the chutneys were really good!!!

One cloudy evening, my cousin and I had this sudden craving for chaat. My sister got reminded of this place where she used to drop by for chaat during her school days. Plans were made and ze brother had no option but to tag along and the three of us set out to do some Malleshwaram street shopping and decided to call it a day with some spicy chaat.
A tiny congested place that holds just enough room to give in orders and collect the food from the counters. There are a few stools outside the shop on the pavement, and if it's your day, you might get a spot. We went in at around 8.30 PM, and Bangalore's chaat lovers did not seem to take a break. Ordered paani pooris, crazy chaat, sairam special chaat and a bowl masala chaat. Had to wait quite a while for our food to get prepped.
The crazy chaat was just corn puffs tossed with all kinds of sauces and topped with sev. While the idea might seem too simple, it definitely was a novel one. The Sairam special chaat was some of fryums again tossed with chutney. Both were quite yummy, I must agree. The bowl masala was what appealed to me the most though. Light on the stomach and there was more to it than just the chutneys, unlike the first two chaats. A bowl full of yumminess, I would say :P. It was layered with papdi, onions, a delicious peas gravy and some sev. Imagine this with a slight drizzle as an add on. Sounds lovely right?
A definite heads-up to this place both in terms of the cost and the food! :D

Wonderful chats. Before I was working in Malleshwarm and I used to have it in old shop located in margosa road. Since I was not visited the store for long time I thought to go. I found it in 15th cross. It’s wonderful as usual . The cashier also owener of the shop greets you with the smile and he help you to choose the chats. I am a fan of Sai Ram Special and Crazy chat. This shops serves you 99 varieties of chats without repeat. I feel crazy to have chats. To have chats I travel from BSK 3rd stage to Malleshwarm. Love you Team. Not to forget Venky. He is the guy who always makes my chats with his passion. Keep going
This is hands down one of the best chat places in Malleswaram. I had a bunch of different things, they have very interesting combinations of chat. Like chat with nippatu, kodbale etc. out of what I tried, I really loved the Dahi Chips Masala and Hong Kong Chat. Definitely give these two a try! And it’s right next door to some yummy dessert places (Sai Ram Chats itself has milkshakes, Bowring kulfi and other regular brand ice creams).
Wanted to visit this place from a long time. Well, the place is really good offering you variety of chats. The names of the chats are very catchy to hear. They also offer wide range of juices and sodas, can give a try. Everything is reasonably priced and one doesn't have to think about before spending.

This is like in the top 10 list of Bangalore's best chaat place. They have come up with funky names to attract customers but I felt no great difference in taste.
I had disco chaat, kiss masala, crazy chaat and Sairam's special. One had bhel puri stuffed in pani puri and another was weird fries ka masala.
If you're in this area and want to try something new, I would definitely recommend you to try some of their distinct chaats.

Went to this place with a bunch of friends and had the chance to try few of their chats. Some of the names on the menu card is intriguing ( especially the ones named Congress😉😉 ) but we decided not kill ourselves experimenting with those. So we stuck to our regular favorites - Dahi Puri, Bhel Puri, crazy chat , Sairam's special. Of all that we tried Dahi Puri stands out for me. There is something so enchanting about the chat masala they use. Now this enchanting feeling might wear off after the second item because by then everything starts to have the same flavour. Or probably it's just me because I started with the Dahi Puri and their Dahi was to die for. Since the other dishes did not live upto the Dahi Puri( not that they were bad, just that Dahi Puri was great), we decided to have a second plate of Dahi Puri to end the feast on a good note😉. Prices might be a little over than normal but totally worth it.One of the best of chats I have had. The place is small but attracts a lot of crowd. There is no crowd management and streamlining for order placement etc, but they do serve your orders real fast. So you won't have much of a trouble despite the crowd. Hygiene seemed pretty decent to me in comparison with such small places. It's a small lane, parking can be troublesome but you might find parking spots on the adjacent lanes for few minutes while you indulge in those delicious bites.

I have been going to this hole in the wall since 2007. It was the closest eatery to my school and the daily pocket money was well spent at this place. There is not a single chaat on the menu thats not worth multiple eats. Makes me as happy as a panda. Love the fact that despite growing in its popularity the quality and quantity has been maintained.

I've been here a couple of times, and it is ridiculous that within a radius of a kilometre, I came across 4 other stalls with the same name and style. Had I not been here earlier, I would have been easily deceived.
I know it's cliche, but you absolutely must try the crazy chaat. It is the yummiest chaat on their menu. It is the hot chips long cylindrical fryum with a bunch of chaat condiments, served with a little sweet yoghurt. It bursts with flavour and is balanced : crunchy and spicy, yet with dahi and methi chutney. It is all that a chaat should be.
I would not be surprised if a restaurant picks this dish up and calls it fusion food and serves it as an appetiser.
The other dishes are all appealing (the congress chaat being another popular request, along with the cutlet masala and pani puri) and each is an interesting assortment of flavours, but for me, the crazy chat is just the best.
If you're in the mood, there are spiral potato bakes in another stall next to this place, and it is really tasty too!

A really good place which offers varieties of chats.
Lots of dishes to choose from including crazy chat, ting tong, honk kong, chips masala, kachori, dry bhel, Sai Ram's special, kiss masala etc in addition to the tradional bhel puri, sev puri, and others.
The shop is very small and it can get quite crowded during peak hours extending the waiting time to half an hour at times, though it is rare considering the super fast crew present.
Personal favorites are crazy chat, dahi bhel, chips masala and dahi puri.
A very humble man runs the place. The staff are nice and friendly.
Don't miss out while in the vicinity of Malleswaram.

Known this place for years now as it is one of the best chat centre in and around malleshwaram. This place is now shifted to 15th cross near MES College. I like chips masala and congress masala for quick bites and there Apple milkshake is worth the money but panipuri is the attraction. The staff is also friendly and it became popular and attracted many more customers after there was an article published in newspapers.
It was and is one of the best places I've visited for the last 8 years (as of this review date) and I still haven't got bored of it. Every visit tempts me to go and have more of those yummy chats. It's an amazing place with hundreds of chat options and thusands of people waiting to belt their food craving. Owner and the people who run the place are very polite and obliging.

Firstly, this place is small. REALLY small. And boy, was it crowded! They have some really unique items on their menu, and you are tempted to try them all! Me and my friend together had 3 chat items - One was Sai Ram special, and I don't even remember the names of the other two! The person at the counter (probably the proprietor) was a really friendly and patient man, who guided us in choosing among the wide variety of chats! We also had a fruit punch. All the items were really good! The prices are pocket-friendly as well.

Just 2 chairs placed inside the shop. You can see the rest of the people standing on the streets and eating. Coming to the chats they offer you their own variants of about 60 types of chats with different kinds of chips. As a student loitering around Malleshwaram, the word bunk was synonymous with 'Sai Rams' this place has a very friendly man at the counter whose smile is the USP (until you taste the chats)The basic maslapuri ,dahi puri and bhel are must haves and the specials aren't really that special.The spiciness of the chat can be subsided by eating the Apple cake which is a fast seller.The juice in this place is really normal. All in all if you are shopping in Malleshwaram and want to have a snack just drop in without hesitations.

This place has the largest menu of chaat's that I have ever seen. I mean the variety is very, very different than most chaat eatery.
I tried the crazy chaat and corn chaat which is a ticking time bomb of flavours that explodes as you bite down and to wash it all down with some fresh juice.
The service is absolutely great and punctual. Lots of crowd around the joint. The prices are worth every penny.

People usually associate a chaats eatery with a small thela. But Sairam's as it is popularly known has its own little space full with minimal seating and a counter for orders. They have little posters of their variety almost everywhere.I'm sure we've all seen 99 variety dosa kiosks everywhere. Sairam's is one of those chaat centres that offer that much variety in chaats too which is quite impressive. The quality and quantity of their food hasn't deteriorated one bit over the last 7 years which is quite impressive. The staff is very friendly and always striving to whip up a chaat for you, QUICKLY! My personal favorite here is the chips masala. They mix the usual potato chips with a nice spciy and tangy sauce with sev as topping. Most of their chaats involve different types of fryums with masala and topping. They serve very Delicious, thick and sweet laasi. Their jaljeera and pani puri water will always keep you wanting for more. It is the perfect definition of "chatpata".
They have unique chaats whose name one probably hasn't heard anywhere else. You won't know unless you try.
Sairam's will never disappoint you,instead it will only confuse you as to what to choose.

We went from basavanagudi based on a friends suggestion and believe it was totally worth it. We tried Sai Ram special, tikki puri, chips bhel as starters then went on to boondi sev, samosa, cutlet etc. All are special because they give importance to taste and hygiene. Usually it's very crowded so be early or wait around until they attend you. It's small place so parking becomes a problem. We had to struggle to park our four wheeler. But totally worth it. This is one of the place I visit since my school times. It has shifted 3 times and this time it's near my home. So we went in for a evening chats. We ordered Dhai Boondi Masala and Sairam's Special. There's no difference in the taste, it's the same as it was years ago. Maybe it is because of the same staff have stayed on from the very beginning. The manager and the staff are friendly. This place has alot to offer if you like to try different items. The downsides are there's any place to sit and the place isn't good when it rains as there's barely any overhead roof. I would surely be back to check out the un-tried items!

Sai Ram chats/Rams is one of the most familiar, popular and favorite chat centers for people from Malleshwaram (and outsiders too :P)
This has been our adda(hangout place) since school days :') This particular outlet has been relocated thrice now and is finally situated diagonally opposite to Kadu malleshwara temple.
Ambiance:
-A few chairs are put outside. We mostly stand outside and eat as there is ample space on footpath.
Service:
-The guy at the counter always welcomes customers with a big smile:)
-Self service.
-Need to pay first and takes around 2-3 minutes to get what you ordered.
Food:
They have a crazy variety of chats from normal ones like pani puri, masala puri to weird named ones like crazy chat, disco chat..etc I have tried most of them and all taste good/satisfactory:) I'd recommend: Sai ram chats, chips masala, cold coffee.
Conclusion:
-Must try chat corner when in Malleshwaram.
-Pocket friendly; one can be full and satisfied with the items served here for under 100 bucks.

One of the best chaat places to walk in..It's a small shop with a lot of branches in & around Malleshwaram...Just love this place as they have funny & cute chaat names.. most of the time I have seen young college going crowd..a perfect place for budget hang out with family or friends.. reasonable, mouth watering, delicious & filling at the d same..
It will just remind you of your college days buying a chaat for the little money we used to carry then :)

Though it is famous for chats it's my hangout place for lassi .Chats meanwhile are good too. There are close to a 70 varieties you can choose from. Crazy chats and dahi alu puri are my all time favourites here.

After visiting Sai Ram Chats, my liking towards street food and chats increased. One funny man Lokesh (owner), his unique way of welcoming and talking to people with a huge smile by itself makes you go to the place again and again.Menu- A huge list of things, close to 80+ different types of chats confuses you. Trust me anything you select, you will love the taste.
Its a favorite chat store in Malleshwaram area for college students and street food lovers. A must try for all the chat lovers in Bangalore.
The warm welcoming of the place owner is something that makes u want to visit the place again and again! And not to forget the extensive menu with unique names! It's a nice try for someone who loves street food and chats! I like most of them, yet to try their many more varieties for which I shall surely get back! :)

Only place I go to eat chats. More than 100 types of chats and different types of juice too. Owner - Lokesh is very friendly, You pay for what you eat and also walk out with a smile!
Great place which offers chats. They even have dry chats like different varieties of chips which is then prepared to dry chats. The owner is friendly. The price is reasonable. There are plenty of options for dry chats. Must visit place if your in Malleswaram.
This is supposed to be the "original" Sai Ram's, or so they claim to be
Anyways the taste was quite good, full of flavours, might seem a bit overwhelming at first, but it was enjoyable
Tiny place but the chaats are great, fruit juices were okay not bad

The pick of them all for me: Aalo poori + curd, Aalo poori, masala poori, Orange / mosambi juice
The paani puri wasn't so good tbh, the crazy chaats/ Sai Ram's chaats were good as well, maybe if you want to try something different
The manager is quite good and friendly, greeting all the customers and asking politely about everyone's order. The service is very good. They care for the customers which is what we expect from any place. Such a decent management.
We had masala poori and crazy chat(without curd). Both are decent. They have so many options also. And the price for a few chats is decent and for a few it's a little higher.
We rated 5 because of the great customer service and good pricing for a few and regular chat items.

It's not a cosy atmosphere. It's one of famous chat catering Bangalore people according to their taste. They have their own chat versions which are different. Can try once
This is a great place to try chats. The Menu has 100 different Chat Options. Tried Sai Ram's Special chat and Dahi Puri and both were really amazing. The prices are also very pocket friendly. There are a few chairs for sitting and the place was a little crowded.
Heavy crowded chats shop. They have lot of chat varieties. Tasty is too good.
I have been coming to this place since my school days. We used to come directly here from Vidya Mandir school. The chats here are amazing and must try are Sai ram’s special, crazy chat, chips masala, ice cream Fanta. Uncle is really sweet and always serves food with a happy smiling face 🤗.
Not much of a place to sit and will always be crowded. Chats with dhai/ curd tastes amazing here.
Tasty snacks from a store that has existed since decades! Never disappoints. Owner always super friendly and smiling, even gave us one free pani puri!

Visited this place for the first time, and as we looked into the long listed menu, the owner understood the situation and asked us if we are visiting for the first time. He recommended three chats to try, as were three of us. Don’t remember the names, but two of the chats had samosa in it, and all the three had dahi (curds/yogurt) added. Then we tried Masala Puri, which was okay and then we tried Pani Puri, the Pani was like Bangarpet Chat style (spicy and little tangy). This place is good for dry chats and Pani Puri.
This place serves huge variety of chats. All their chats have unique names which are attractive. My all time favourite is crazy chat. Must visit if you are around malleshwaram during evenings. Prices are affordable.
Tis place has been a favorite place for chats from the college days. Be it those chats wit fancy names tat attract u, or the amazing taste sandwiches or cold coffee u will surely get addicted once you visit it..

The owner greets with a smile everytime I visited. The number of chats available here is unbelievable. Tasted very few and the one I tried was tasty. Crazy chat was just crazy it was different and good. Cannot comment on every chat here as there are around 100 verities. Chat lovers must visit and try. Small place and vehicle parking is not available
Once in a while you can relax and enjoy the taste of chats in SSR. Different varieties are available here. The owner will welcome us as if he knows very well 😊. Good choice for chats.
This place is not on main road, but serves different types of chats. Nippat, Bun nippat, Congress masala are such ones which we don't get easily on other stalls. They also have unique names for some chats, like Anarkali. They also serve goli soda. The place is clean.
