A lovely place to dine at with family! Most of our orders were great recommendations by Mr. Lakshmikanth. Even the service was top notch and the ambience was pleasant making it a worthwhile experience.

2. Starters: Basil Pesto Chicken, Paneer Tikka Masala, Murg Angare Kabab

Visited Red Onion on a quiet rainy Sunday evening. The parking security, Mr Lakshmikanth (captain) and the rest of the staff were incredibly hospitable, would love to visit again because of the service.
The food was decently priced, loved the roti and the lachha paratha, they were absolutely fresh and perfectly textured. though the Dhaniya Adraki Chicken lacked flavor.

This is very conveniently located at Shanti Nagar main road, They have wallet parking so you don't need to worry about parking hassles. The restaurant interiors are superb and give you a mix of food Chinese, North Indian -contemporary feeling.
I am in love with this place that I have been here 3 times in the past month and ate across the veg menu items. A couple of times, it was big team lunches so got the opportunity to try my hands on multiple things. I will give a personal review of all the veg items in detail.
On first glance, I loved their menu as they described placed and local food on their menu very very beautifully. This is mainly fusion food so there is very less room to divide food into different courses. Though there are things you can classify as the main course and appetizers but I find almost everything worth mentioning at one place. I got a chance to try the following items from their veg menu.
Service was very good & food was excellent. We tried quite a few dishes & it was just perfect. This is a very good place to go with family or even colleagues to have a drink with good food & very very nice music.
The staffs have been trained well on every item on the menu. Mr Hari A smile on the face and a recommendation if you are confused, was of great help. Each and every one were very courteous.
I did find the music a little too slow for a fine-dining restaurant.

Situated in central bangalore which makes it easily accessible for a visit. I recommend this place for a peaceful dinner. They have valet parking and the staff is really helpful. We ordered for soup, some papad and hara bara kabab! In the main course do try the dal baghara ,vegetable takatak ,nan and tandoori roti. The food is just outstanding here and will want you to go visit again. They have corporate offers and some Magicpin discounts which you can avail. Staying close to this place we often order for home delivery and the service is excellent. Kudos to this place.

Red Onion has been on my mind for quite some time Now. It was a unique opportunity to visit this restaurant for lunch with a sudden decision as I was in the vicinity and hunger god made hsi appearance at that time.
The place is very well located on the busy Shantinagar Double road a few blocks ahead of the bus Depot. Its interiors are contemporary minimalistic with hints of oriental values. Although more popular for Pan Asian cuisine, we decided to try out their Indian offerings, and trust me they were flawless to say the least.
The service here is prompt and Lakshmikant took very good care of us attending to my specific requirements including arranging tables for.my food pictures.
We started with a Paneer Tikka and a Mutton Boti Kebab and paired it with Virgin Colada and Sweet Lassi adding to true ethnic values. Our Mains comprised of a very generous portion of Egg Biryani, Dal Makhani and Cheese Garlic Nan as per Lakshmikant's suggestion and they were perfect. Although I would have expected a little bit more garlic in the Dal, it was a very good meal. The icing on the cake was definitely the Gulab Jamoon served with Ice-cream which made us delighted gastronomers. Red Onion definitely excels with their cuisine, and looking forward to drop by real soon for their Asian offerings.

The food has a lip smacking taste.
Kadai paneer afghani and specially dal makhni has authentic taste. The masala chaas has a very unique taste.
The 5 stars are specially for the service provided by Mr. Laxmikanth who is the restaurant manager. He was very courteous along with his staff and was flexible in what we ask for. An absolute delight with great customer experience from the staff.

Great ambience with a large screen TV telecasting live matches, great food - made with fresh ingredients and perfectly spiced. Had my best Manchow chicken soup here! The Hyderabadi chicken dum biryani and chilli chicken were perfect too😍 with the meat falling off the bone. Fast service is a plus. Sure to visit again!

It was a pretty good place. The food was good and filled with very rich ingredients. The pricing was extremely good. The portion size was also pretty decent. The service was also satisfactory. My only problem was that the lighting kept on attracting the fact that the glass windows both inside and facing outside were not clean. The parking can also be improved a bit because of the loose drainage covers and the curb. But overall worth it!! :)

Very calm and nice place to enjoy Chinese food. Been here with a large group of friends for a meet up. The staffs were humble and professional and we had a wonderful time here. If you are a person who enjoys Chinese food, then it's a place for you.

The ambience is good. Food is tasty, but they took more time to serve the main course. There's parking available for cars and bikes. Had a nice time. They even arranged a table for the 11 of us.
