I always end up ordering from Bathinda junction when I miss eating that desi Punjabi food. There is one dish which is especially nostalgia for me. and that is churi. My dadi and my nani used to make churi for us when we were kids, and I am not exaggerating, I teared up when I first had churi from Bathinda junction.

Amongst the starters, my go-to option is teri souhh chicken tikka. It just melts in your mouth. In the main course, there is dal makhani, of course. I like the Kadai preparations quite a lot. so Kadai chicken and Kadai paneer.
The breads are quite good as well. You should try the Amritsari kulcha.

Even in lockdown, Bathinda junction has been a saving grace, for a few of us, who couldn't go home. Good food, leading to a good mood

This is one of my favourite North Indian food places in Bangalore and to enjoy it while sitting at home is bliss. Their packaging was very safe and hygienic. They adhere to all the safety measures and the best part is that food was delivered hot :) I absolutely love their Handi Chicken and Punjabi Paneer. They also have a wide variety of starters and the gulab jamun for dessert is perfect. So go ahead and order in and enjoy!

Hey,
So recently had some amazing food from this restaurant and I just loved the food.
Punjabi food is undoubtedly one of my most favorite cuisine and this was definitely one of the best Punjabi food I have had.

Starting the meal I had the Achari Paneer Tikka which was soft, perfectly marinated and delicious.
For the main course I had the Laccha Paratha,Amritsari Kulcha,Punjabi Paneer,Dal Tadka and Jeera Rice and everything was just amazing espescially the Laccha Paratha and the Punjabi Paneer which was full of flavour.
The Gulab Jamoon and Teri Souhh Churi was the perfect end for a great meal.

Overall this was one good place to have Punjabi food and would definitely recommend this place for some amazing food!!

If you're looking for a wholesome meal with North Indian flavors, this is it.
Here's what all I ordered -

Achari Soya Chaap - too spicy for my liking but the flavors were just perfect!
Dal Makhni - I saved it for next day too, It's my weakness. 🙈
Punjabi Paneer - Semi Gravy Paneer, so goes Better with Naan or Roti than with Rice. Yummy again.
I enjoyed it with Garlic Naan and Lachcha Paratha along with some Jeera Rice.

Teri Souhh Churi - Amazing Dessert. Not too sweet, good for my liking.. definitely ordering again.

One of the most sophisticated, enticing and delicious cuisine - North Indian !!
And one of the best places in town to have some lip smacking North indian food is Bathinda Junction

Namaste !!

I recently ordered some tasty North Indian food from Bathinda junction with all the pre cautions taken and contactless delivery option . The packaging of the food was perfect , the food was hot and yummy .

For food we had

Paneer tikka which was too good . Soft , succulent , marinated well served with green chutney and some salad
Then we had a perfect wholesome main course which included punjabi paneer, palak kofta , dal tadka , jeera rice and amritsari kulchas
The highlights were there curries which were spot on in terms of flavour . Richly prepared in a heavy gravy with all the flavours infused rightly in it and also the amristari kulchas which were stuffed and perfect to have it with the curries

At end we had gulab jamoon and teri souhh churi as dessert and perfect way to end the meal

Overall an amazing place to have some delicious north indian food

Set up is basic - they claim it to be a “pure Indian dhaba” and the decor & setup is true to that claim. Their Lassi one of the best in Bangalore (at least for the price range) and the other things I ordered seemed good enough. The photo is of methi malai chicken and garlic naan.

Food is good, decor is as claimed and price is very decent for the quality of food , as per Bangalore standards! I would recommend this place for a occasional North Indian food craving.

Last Saturday went there with my best friend cum wife for her birthday. Been to almost many Punjabi restaurants except this one so thought of giving it a try. And it was amazing.

We ordered only Veg dishes there. Had Mushroom Duplex on starter which was the best in taste stuffed with veggies and paneer inside the mushroom served with salad was delicious.

In main course we ordered Garlic Nan , My favorite one Dal Makhni and Paneer Musallam ( that's was on the special list of the restaurant).

Felt a different spice taste in Dal makhni which you won't usually find in any Punjabi restaurants still it was above average can't say best. Paneer was amazing in taste also .

In all I loved the dishes in veg . Staffs are quite friendly and polite . Ambience is great , Punjabi themed. Price is reasonable there. Would love to visit again.

Punjabi Food Ka Mazaa Lena Hai To Visit Bathinda Junction. Let's Get Started With What Must You Try

➡️Masala Papad
➡️Achari Chicken Tikka
➡️Murg Rara
➡️Churi (dessert)

Apart From Food What Did I Like Here
🤩Value For Money
🤩Impressive Portion Size

Masala papad
Perfect crispness with finely chopped onion tomato, the tangy flavor was loved and sure you will enjoy it too.

Achari chicken tikka
Decently tender chicken chucks, likely I tried the chicken thighs supposed to be the most tender piece. The outer layer had a spicy achari flavor which when sprinkled with lemon was amazing.

Dal makhni
Fairly good and creamy and tasty.

Rara chicken
My Favorite dish of the day, the dence masala with minced chicken just did the magic.

Roti basket
Opted this as our group was large so well balanced.

Gajar halwa
Churi
Do Not Feel Shy. Do Grab The Two Mentioned Dessert.

Stepped in here on sunday for dinner. Place was quite crowded bcz of Sunday, but still they managed well for a good service with delicious food.
This place gives me the authentic dhaba style feel with desi flavours n punjabi bits.
I loved soya chaap and achari chicken tikka. Rara chicken was so juicy, it goes well with the roti basket but my star dish of that night was baigan bharta. They have delicious dal makhani and saag. Gajar ka halwa, churi and the softest gulab jamun, couldn't get enough of it.

Located in the most happening place of HSR this Place is perfect for punjabi food. Authentic Dhaaba style themed decor makes it more attractive..

Let’s checkout the main part the tempting food. Started with masala papad with paneer on top and lassi. Tried Soya chaap , mushroom and paneer tikka in starter. Starters were delicious 🤤 and good in quantity.

In main course tried Dal makhani, baigan bharta, Sarso da saag and roti basket which will have all varieties of rotis.

In dessert their gajar ka halwa, churi and GULABJAMUN which was worth drooling for.

If you are craving for some dhaba food, this is the place to go. On the busy HSR layout, this place is an open air restaurant, with basic interiors. The focus is on authentic Punjabi food, which are the best here. Started off with a lassi, achari paneer and masala papad, all of which were served fresh and hot. Mains consisted of rotis with Sarson ka sag, which i tasted for the first time. A fan of this now. Ended off with a gulab jamoon which was a delight as well.
An overall 5 on 5.

Started off with masala papad. Loved how they garnish it with Paneer and they actually fry the papad instead of roasting it and the overall dish was quite good. Chased it with butter milk which was quite refreshing too.
Next up in the starters had chicken Tikka which was a bit tough . Honey chilly garlic chicken was quite good and it did hit the right taste. Something one must try. Next up had the chicken pakora which was also decent .
The main course was their best. The sumptuous Dal Makhani , sarson da saag , makki ki roti are my personal favourites. Also liked the butter chicken which was quite creamy and went well with phulka!
Dal Makhani was their signature dish and one must try that out .
Lastly finished our meal with some gulab jamun and gazar ka halwa which were okayish!
Overall a good place to dine in!

Love for north indian food can never end and this place is the closest to good and affordable north indian food here in Bangalore. Ambience is more like of a dhaba and more on a chill end.
The starters recommended :
▪️Chilli Chicken
▪️Honey Chili Chicken
▪️Masala papad
The mains are the ones you should definitely try. The recommended ones are
▪️Butter Chicken with lacha paratha
▪️Saag with Makke Roti
▪️Rara Chicken

The place is very easy on pockets and can fill you up easily. A must try here.

Looking for an authentic Punjabi ka dhaba style food & music in the background ??? Then you are at the right place in town !!! Bathinda junction (rooftop restaurant) which is situated at HSR is a one stop destination for all Punjabi food lovers in Bangalore. The ambience is very simple but yet eye catching they also have good wall paintings which brings more vibrance to the ambience. The furnishing is also very similar to a Punjabi Ka dhaba. They have chairs and cots and you can choose ur choice of seating and the rooftop restaurant is a cherry on the icing !! The price is very affordable and the staffs are very friendly here. Now let's dive into the food. They have so many varieties to try and we tried they signature dishes
Platters were so amazing and will satisfy ones palates we tried chicken pakoda ,Achari paneer/chicken , honey chilli potato & Soya chapps and they were pretty good. In main course we tried their breads and they served different varieties of breads like butter Nan, paneer Nan and so on !!! We ordered butter chicken, teri souhh saag which was so good and satisfied our taste buds. Lassi which was served with the food was a great coolant for our spiced up palate. We tried their Gajar halwa and gulab jamoon for desert and they were pretty good too. Over all an amazing Punjabi food rollercoaster we all had and it was fun.

I have always been a fan of north Indian cuisine and when you get the authentic taste of all the dishes, it's definitely a win-win. My dinner at this place last night was a delicious affair.
Bathinda Junction has been in place since more than four years now with the first outlet in Koramangala. The one at HSR is almost 2.5years old. A mix of dhaba and restaurant setup, this place has got options for both chairs and cots to provide the desi dhaba look.
▫️▫️▫️▫️
We started off with the butter milk and lassi which were quite refreshing. The lassi especially was thick and minimal sweetness just the way it's made in North India.
From the starters, we tried soya chaap, chicken pakoda, paneer tikka and achari chicken tikka. I loved the chicken pakoda truly. Tender chicken chunks were soft from the inside and quite crispy from the outside. Also, we had the honey garlic chicken which was simply appetizing with a hint of sweet and spicy flavour.
Then came the main course. An assorted platter of Indian breads to choose from Butter naan, phulka, lachha paratha and makke di roti. To complement it were served sarso da saag, rara chicken, butter chicken and dal makhani.
The butter chicken was outstanding and the chicken was melting in mouth. Dal makhani was quite decent too but sarso da saag truly took my heart. I had never tasted such delicious saag before.
Finally, to end the meal, we had some yummy gulab jamun and gajar ka halwa. Both were perfectly prepared and tasted heavenly.
▫️▫️▫️▫️
Overall, it's an amazing place to try out the authentic North Indian flavours. The pricing is decent enough and the staff is polite and well behaved. The place was crowded which definitely gives an evidence of the delicious food served here.

Bathinda Junction is a very nice restaurant with authentic Punjabi Food taste. I really enjoy my meal from this place. Being a big fat non-vegetarian, planned to order one kofta sabzi. Undoubtedly the gravy was very shahi feels but the contrasting taste of Kadhai Chicken and Nargis Kofta didn’t go very well in Lunch.
Expecting a lil portion of salad to be served.
Thanks for Delicious food everytime.

I'm a sucker for Punjabi food so a place with Bhatinda in it's very name would surely be in my list.
I have visited the Koramangala outlet several times, this time I happened to visit the HSR outlet.
Proper desi dhaba type ambience.
The service was really quick and good.
Coming to the food, we had quite a few things.
Starters: Their paneer Chilli was outstanding. Extremely flavourful.
Malai Soya Chaap was another amazing creamy and cheesy starter that I loved.
For main course, I really loved the sarso saag, malai roti, Punjabi Missi roti.
I haven't had such an authentic sarso saag in Bangalore before. Highly recommended .
Overall, the HSR outlet too was decent.

Finally got to find out this gem of a place which serves good punjabi food at reasonable fare amidst naive decor .
If you are in search of a minuscule place serving rustic punjabi fare which would leave an everlasting impression on your taste buds then head to Bathinda junction .
Reasons I’m impressed :
1. Humble space with naive decor which is outright minimalistic .
2. Seating options like charpai or Manji which is a traditional old school style woven bed used in Dhabhas.
3. Appetising food - which has both vegetarian and non vegetarian delicacies
4. Humble staff who do their best .
5. VFM -5/5
Not too expensive on your pocket - and at the end of your meal it would ensure a delightful experience
Pind da khanaaa 🤩💓
How many of you crave for good punjabi fare in Bengaluru ?
.
I’m crave for makki di roti and sarson da saag in winters 🥰
Butter chicken and naan , paneer butter masala , daal makhani .
Yes many of you would we have many places which serve these !
But do all places get it and bring that smile and contended feeling for you !
Very few !
Finally found yet another gem of a place - hidden gem 💎 which serves some delectable Punjabi fare .
.
Food 5/5
My reccos -
👉🏻makki di roti and saag - do not miss this combo in here the saag is a punjabi speciality found in households during winters - the chef here made sure it’s retaining the native taste with addition of white butter and ghee.
👉🏻daal makhani 👉🏻butter chicken
👉🏻Rara chicken - a spicy version of chicken curry which has fine blend of naive spices and chicken cooked well .
👉🏻 stuffed kulcha
👉🏻 soya chaap- the malai soya chaap is just wow the first bite of it would make realise the proper use of malai which enhances the richness in the dish.
👉🏻 fish tikka - made with basa fillet a strong dose of spices for this melt in mouth dish is a something I loved .
👉🏻end your meal on a sweet note with their in-house special - churi- a naive recepie which is a dessert (try it for sure )
Lassi !
.
Price - not too heavy on your pocket .
Seating - prefer the khatai option where two of you choose to sit on a old school Dhabha cot with a wooden plank in between.
.
I’m heading back for sure with my family and friends .

I was hunting for some good Punjabi place and discovered this. Previously, I had tried their food delivery which was decent.

In starters we had fish tikka (this was poora paisa vasool), soya chaap, malai chicken (can be improved, i love spicy chicken)

Main course we did try varities of dishes from butter chicken to sarson da saag, egg curry, rara chicken with roti basket. All the items were really tasty and it was well complimented by Lassi.

In end, we had shahi tukda along with homemade recipe of churri.

When you are craving for some Punjabi taste then head over to Batinda Junction.Authentic Punjabi food with good ambience is the plus point .It was a week day dinner with my friends and the place was almost full.Simple ambience which gives a good feel and the service was good.

Started off with refreshing Lassi and paneer sprinkled papad.Chicken pakora, the first starter to try and that was a great start, chicken was soft and well spiced.Tangdi kebab with malai, a good  to go one but need a little improvement.Fish Tikka, was really good and the marination made that a perfect one.Soya Chaap , worth a try for non-veg people and a must try for vegeterians.

Main Course , tried Punjabi Missi roti for the first time , Amritsari Kulcha with Chicken Rara, the masala gives the real taste , obviously Butter Chicken was also eminent.Morethan 5+ varities of breads available inhouse. Churi, the dessert which was the best way to endup the dinner.

Bathinda, the central city of Punjab is know for its Dhaba culture. The yummiest Dhaba's you will find are the ones in front of railway station, serving delicious & yummiest food. It's the smell of hot parantha dipped in desi ghee that pulls anyone towards itself. The tall lassi glass filled with fresh sweet lassi serves as a lifesaver on any hot day. A true Punjabi, no matter where he goes, will always crave for these intoxicating smells. That's exactly the concpet behind the inception of Bathinda Junction to recreate the same atmosphere of Punjabi dhaba.

Bathinda Junction brings you the authentic Makki Di Roti, Sarson Da saag and the trade mark Butter chicken. So stop your search for pure Punjabi food because you are at the right place.
Bhatinda Junction is the place to relax and enjoy the extravagant culture & rich traditional food.

I had some of the lip smacking dishes like
• Punjabi Lassi - Sweet Lassi served chilled in Patiala glass.

• Chhaachh - Perfect spice chilled buttermilk served.

• Masala Papad - Fried papad topped with Onions, Tomato & Shredder Paneer.

• Dhaba Style Paneer Chilli - Spicy & Hot Panner Chilli with Perfect spice & taste.

• Chicken Pakoda - Perfect Desi fried chicken with secret spices served with Onions.

• Soya Chaap - Malai based Soya Chaap. It was perfect in taste & quality.

• Fish Tikka - Basa Fish was used for Fish Tikka. It was really good in taste with perfect grill.

• Breads - Authentic Breads like Makki Di Roti, Amritsari Stuffed Kulcha, Garlic Naan, Butter Kulcha and many other.

• Butter Chicken - Authentic & Perfect Butter chicken where gravy was really tasty & chicken was great.

• Dal Makhani - Butter based Dal Makhani has a great taste & it was good in taste.

• Churi - Jaggerey based Chapathi crushed dessert. It was perfectly mixed & served.

Want some Pind Da Khana? Head over here then!! Starting with a perfect Lassi and Chaas with good masala and Panner sprinkled masala papad, isn't it too good a start? Well then order a portion of Chicken Pakoras which are fantastic, the main touch is the Chaat Masala which enhances the taste. Soya Chap is ideal for Vegetarians. Authentic Tangdi Kebab with malai is also available here. Fish Tikka, made from fresh fish is amazingly cooked with spices perfected!!

When it comes to the main course, they have a huge spread of 9 different Indian Breads including Garlic Naan, Butter Naan, Punjabi Missi Roti, Amritsari Kulcha, Butter Kulcha, Lacha Paratha, Makke ki roti and many others with Gravies including Chicken RaRa, Palak Panner, Khadi Pakoda, Egg curry, Butter Chicken and Dal Makhni and the fantastic Sarson ka Saag. Sarson ka Saag is the highlight of our meal served with Makke di roti!!
Palak paneer gravy is very well made. All the breads are exceptionally good.

For Desserts, one cannot miss the Churi!! An authentic Punjabi home made dish and Shahi Tukda is good.

Ordered food from here going by the typical Punjabi name and it was ok on that front, nothing very awesome though.

I tried Aalu Sandwich with Desi fries and tawa gobhi paratha for dinner.  Aalu sandwich was super awesome in taste and stuffing and tasted like a desi indian style sandwich. It didn't look that fancy but it's worth trying. Fries was bit different as it was more on thicker and softer side.

Tawa Gobi Paratha was really good with some really good spicy stuffing and size was decent too..

They serve proper wheat phulkas which is a little difficult to find in other restaurants. Their food tastes good and their rooftop ambience is very cool. Visit during non peak hours for a peaceful vibe with a cool view.
