Light on the pocket, heavy on the stomach. Good food and totally worth the buck. Any day an office goers adda for good food and right price.
Ps: The butter phulkas are the best to accompany any bhaji/Gravy.
Landed here in search of some Punjabi food and found it worth value for money. The ambiance and service are okay. Thali with complete meal is a good option too. Must try keema here!
Love their Tandoori Chicken in Butter Masala and Lassi. I kind of like the Kofta Pulao too. I think that in the past one year, new management took over. Has been consistently good and filling since then. We make it a point to visit it every time we are in that part of town.
Only feedback would be to add some personal touch to the service. It is too mechanical right now.
Nice place for a quick meal. The rotis are really soft. Kadai chicken was brilliant. But butter chicken lacked the real punjabi punch
Overall a good place, tasty food. Value for money.
Visited here very often..
Very good food and ambience...Service is relatively slow
But will be worth the wait...Visit only if you have the luxury of time...
Must try dishes: Egg manchurian and Egg fried rice!

Cost effective restaurant. I order their tandoori quite regularly for home delivery. Anything tandoori related this place is good for it and quite light on your pocket.
I have been ordering food from here and have always loved it. Recently visited this place with a friend. We both loved the food. Ambiance is not great but the food compensates for it. The service is also quick. I love their Sarson ka Saag and Mushroom Masala. The phulkas are always good.
This place has been my favourite just for excellent tandoori Rotis, egg Bhurji and chaass..
Have been visiting this place since 2003 and still not tired of this simple and great tasting food.
Decor is not good but you can excuse it completely for, the food they serve is excellent.
We had to place an order for a meal that would be value for money & tasty- read reviews & zeroed on to this place. Everyone enjoyed the food throughly. Packed in containers- menu we zeroed on were chicken tikka biryani (boneless chicken tikka style accompanied with salan & raita), mutton rogan Josh was brilliant, so was kadai chicken. I loved the paneer tikka kabab-well marinated & the bhindi crispy fry-crisp, yet the moisture in place for you to have it with roti. Also their laccha parathas were good-ordered 6 of them. All this for 1054 without compromising on taste...am glad I chose this place. Cheers.
Have visited PFC thrice in the past month. Chapaati / phulka with Bhendi crispy fry or dal or mushroom gravy makes a good combination. Mutton rogan ghosh with steamed rice is a must try. Lassi or butter milk are what can be added to make this meal complete. Service is quickest than any other restaurant I have been in and the staff courteous.
No frills Punjabi food served at a lightening speed in case it's less crowded. Kadhai chicken is must try with phulka and buttermilk.
Food: lip smacking Kadhai chicken I can undoubtedly call this the best Kadhai chicken I had so far. Good rotis to go along with this .
Drinks: loved the buttermilk without the overdose of masala.
Service: pretty quick
Ambience: let's talk about something else 😀
Parking: roadside easily accessible.
Go there for quick lunches from office . Go early grab a seat and order fast I am sure you won't be disappointed.
Taste wise its a 10/10! Dont know what they do to the food. It just tastes soo yummy. Dal makhni is divine, must try. Was never disappointed with the taste.
This is my all time favourite place when i want to eat a good north indian meal without the after meal heavy/ over ate feeling.
Love the butter chicken & the chicken kababs.
I also enjoy the Jeera rice here.....strongly recommend it ..: ).
We reached Punjabi Food corner simply walking all the way in Indira Nagar. Here is the list of what we order there:
1 Hot & Sour Soup
1 Chicken Chilly Fry Starter
1 Kadai Chicken with Bone Main Course
2 Tandoori Roti
1 Kulchha
Hot & Sour Soup in Punjabi Food Corner was extraordinary, we got Indian taste in chinese soup. Chicken Chilly Fry was 2nd best.
Kadai Chicken was average in taste. Tandoori Roti was little hard to eat whereas Kulchha was much better than Tandoori Roti.
The ambience of the Restaurant was typical. Half portion of the wall is made of glass, so inside and outside of the Restaurant is visible.
Considering Service. ambience and food taste I ll give 3.5 rating to Punjabi Food Corner.
We come out to PFC almost every alternate day for lunch and boy, this place never disappoints us. Average food with OK ambience and reasonable rates makes this place a complete package. Nothing hi-fi! Really like Achari Chicken here!
A casual saturday visit to the Punjabi Food corner turned out to be a musical exprience and not just a brunch trip. The presence of Live Dhol artists and the Bhangra beats were enough to set the mood for the punjabi in me. The huge spread of the brunch transformed the entire ambience to a town from Punjab... . The newly launched weekend brunch was a delight , especially the Chole Bhature which were a delight. While the thick lassi to go with it was a little small.
The brunch which had about 12 items was reasonably priced at 150. The takeaway for the day was the Chicken Kheema Paratha which had just the right stuffing . The only thing missing were the dollops of white butter , and had to do with butter chiplets instead
Punjab food corner is one of the consistent places in Indira Nagar for taste and quantity.
They used have Sea food as a part of their regular menu, but it’s now only on their days special and that too occasionally.. Sad :( !!!
My regular orders here are limited to Roti’s and some Veg curries.
The service is good, polite and friendly staff, but it will always run slower on the roti refills. Roti’s are soft and brilliant with some dal tadka or makhani. All the curries we have tried are good and from my friends pick for meat lovers is Mutton Rugon josh and Achari Chicken.
But this review is a part of my unpleasant last visit. Ordered Prawns Biriyani and it was awful with some disgusting n bad smelling prawns in it. I didn’t have to worry much as there were only 4-5 pieces in it. This spoiled prawns was their day’s special????? :o .. I doubt may be their weeks special or last weeks.?? I usually like their Biriyani, slightly spicy and tasty. But this time it was a total mood spoiler. Giving it an off-day excuse and I'm rating it for what I had here always.
Overall it’s a not a bad place to try out for some tasty north Indian food. Quantity is good for the price and price wont pinch your pocket.
A great feel at Home kinda restaurant. Its a very old place and you can feel the same the moment you enter. The ambiance is not great but I can assure you that if you walk in Hungry or even not so hungry you will walk out content.
This place has great options for both Veg and Non veg folks. They are clean though not sparkling. The Amchoorwali Bhindi, Dum Aloo Kashmiri, Jaipuri Veg, Malai Kofta and Regular Paneer dishes are worth giving a shot for the Veg folks. Well for the Non vegetarians its nothing unusual but Go on and try the Chicken Kalimirch and Ginger Chicken. For starters the Paneer 65 and Manchurian Items can be a good break from the normal Tandoori Items.
The Breads are great both in taste and size along with the price. I swear by the Aloo Parantha. But actually since its one of the comfort food i grew up on you might not agree with me. The Chinese items are of course Indianized. But they tast great!
The service is quite fast and the staff very courteous. Sometimes they might not accept cards but you have quite a few ATMs in the vicinity so not to worry.
Comfort food or a hearty meal, this place wont disappoint you! However no Candle light dinners or romantic meal place this is.
Happy Eating!
I can say it yeah its real yummy...I have been here 4 days consecutively in a week and almost 10 times in a month...we order our signature list tandoori chicken in butter masala with garlic naun and kulcha onion.followed by chicken tikka biryani and veg kofta pulao..reshmi kabab also tastes good in starters..on a whole if u want to taste real authentic Punjabi food just go here... Tandoori butter masala is their famous recipe...dnt forget to order it...
This looks like any normal hotel serving typical North-Indian. One feels the seating needs to be bit more spacious, more so with those cane seats. When the food it served, doesn't looks so tempting..... hey wait, just dab well those Indian breads in the simple looking chicken gravies and have it and you wil get the results. The place serves the best authentic Punjabi items.
Tough to recommend the starters as all are well done. For gravies a defnite try to Kadai chicken, chicken kali mirch, malai kofta and Dal tadka.
Decent food, but little pricey.
Looking for a fine good food feathery pocket north indian place. I like the kadhi pakoda here, very few places in the city that serves you ths.
Decent ambience....Great food....veg & non-veg both were good....and crispy boondi raita is my fav now...jst loved it. And I cannot believe on the price....after having a great lunch when I saw the bill I was in shock..I double checked it if they have missed anything...It was great being there. Just one suggestion to the restaurant...get some more staff...you ppl are doing a great job with all your dedication and providing real good service but need few more ppl to make ur service faster... :)
Ordered 6 Tandoori Rotis, Channa Masala & Vegetable Kadhai
Ambience: Decent (3/5)....It was non-airconditioned and certain flies were also hovering around. But overall okay types
Staff Behaviour (5/5): Very prompt. They were delivering the items at our beck and call.
Food Items Quality (4/5): All the items ordered were extremely tasty
Food Items Quantity (5/5): Quantity of the items provided was also adequate....infact more than adequate. Had to pack some for the home for a late night snack :P
Cons:
1 Fan was not working which was not expected
Overall I would say for north-Indian food lovers, a must go. They could improve in just the ambience of the place by adding an air-conditioner and keeping it clean from flies...!!!
Overall (4/5)
Ambience: 2/5
Service: 3/5
Still I would give an overall rating of 3.5 because of the tasty food. I loved the Butter Chicken as well as Lasooni Kabab.
Lassi didn't meet my expectations.
The pricing seems to be a bit on the hitter side considering the below average ambience and average service quality.
This has become my absolute favorite joint.
Great food, quick service, and very courteous staff.
Their naans and romali rotis are soft and great with any gravy u order on their menu.
If you are in the area, definitely try this place!!!
What do I say about this place.. The Indian starters the gravy and the roti's are just brilliant this place has never disappointed with it amazing food and very humble and polite staff which values each and every customer.. Unlike it's competitor punjabi Rasoi..
If you are out for authentic North India cuisine, this would be the first place to visit in Bangalore. I tried the murg Rajasthani and it's famous mutton rogan josh and I fell for it. Moreover it's among the most reasonable places and at an easy location. A must visit.
Was out there for a lunch with my team. And man! Was floored by the food and its beautiful finger licking taste.
Our non-veg starters were Chicken Pepper Tikka, Fish Pakoras and Mutton Chilli. Fish and Chicken were regular in taste, Mutton wasn't cooked well. But those guys who had ordered veg starters like Chilli Mushroom and Baby Corn Manchurian..Babes! That was a real wow..perfectly made with care and we all enjoyed it!
Main course included Vegetable Biryani, an awesome Dal Fry served very nicely in a small copper bucket, Chicken Hyderabadi which was less spicy than expected and Mutton Dhaba Ghosht which was again not well cooked. But overall we had a good experience with the chicken and the biryani dal. The Kulchas, Butter Naan were really well and I loved the Makki Roti, one of the best I have ever tasted.
Would like to go back soon, and yes at the end we burped over Sweet Lime Soda.
First of all the best daal makhani that I had in banagalore .... paneer tikka ... hara bhara kabab....
the stuffed parathas... the paneer butter masala.... alll were good.....
the staff was a bit odd..
But all in all a good place for north indian food.
Punjabi food is a favorite of mine, and no other restaurant has delighted me with such amazing kebabs and tikkas. The Hariyali kebab is a must try; the soft, succulent chicken almost melts in one's mouth and the flavours are perfectly incorporated. The main course is no disappointment either. They do offer Chinese, but it will reach you only 40 minutes after order, leading to much frustration. Their speciality however, they present well. The service is average. Value for money is top notch. This restaurant is a must try for people wanting quality food for good pricing.
If your concern is awesome food and you wouldn't care much about ambience, then this is the place to go. Authentic and delicious pubjabi food. At times service can be disappointing but the wonderful food more than compensates for that. And extremely pocket friendly as well.
I have order food from this place few times, good food and at quite reasoable price. Service is good. I liked roti and Mutton Rogan josh which was really good and so was few of the kababs here. Pricing is quiet reasonable too..
Good place to eat on a budget.
I am a fan of their Makki roti(with ghee) , Sarson saag and mutton.
Other items on the menu are good or even average.
I always order food from this place,Had never problem in getting stuff ordered from here, amazing food at quite reasoable price,Food taste the same as best as always. Its a good place to go for a quick lunch, within your pocket limits,
Top value for money restaurant this side of town , can go there everyday and not cook at home , my favorite is the roti and Mutton Rogan josh, having the same dish for past couple of years at least once a week .
:)
This is a wonderful restaurant.
The food was absolutely delicious & easily the best food we had in PFC
The staff were lovely & just the right balance of attentiveness.
The service was good, there was a good selection on the menu and the food was excellent. We were about 10 of us. all of us njoyed..
Gravys and and Biriyani was adipoli.
We like the atmosphere and the price was very reasonable considering the quality of the food. Would go there again
Would recommend to anyone very highly.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, they knew the menu; offered great suggestions. The choices were original-each dish was colorful and well presented as well as delicious. We appreciated the way the manager took time to visit the table to get input on the dishes and chat with us. We wouldn't hesitate to return again to try other items on their menu. A great value for money too...... :)
Went to PFC today and had a good lunch. The Tandoori platter and the bread basket was very delicious and -yummy- (as told by my son). The chiku lassi was surely very soothing in the afternoon heat. Not to mention, there was a choice of lassi's also. The last time I had been there i relished the muttun curry . So guess this place is surely not to be missed if you like punjabi food and also if you are looking for a place to have food at Indiranagar.
Great place , awesome food & value for every rupee. Service is ok...but for a casual restaurant it is a great deal!!!! Srongly recommend to all :)
We used to go here ages ago and then stopped because the quality of the food seemed mediocre. We tried ordering from here recently and were pleasantly surprised! The food tastes great, prices are extremely reasonable and worth it for the quantity of the food. I expected the food to be oily and too rich and it was exactly the opposite. The pickled onions, chutneys and raitas add to the food experience. If you want simple, Punjabi food that tastes homemade and for a great price, this is the place to go.
The food is really good and the best part is that its value for money. They have changed a ambience a bit and now it looks very good. The fish and kebabs are one of the best they have. Loved the food.
Tucked opposite Bow Barracks in Indiranagar, if you are looking for great food, excellent service, variety, at reasonable/fitting your pocket prices, look no further. You will fall in love with it
This place is value for money...
I've been to this place so many times that I've lost count, The place looks much better now and surely would recomment you to try it.
The place has been renovated/ improved recently. Brilliant food, awesome value for money, no doubt. Courteous waiters. Been here thrice earlier, but the service was really slow. But this time, i was pleasantly surprised at the promptness of food arrival. The chicken barta and garlic kulcha deserve special mention. Wash it all down with good lassi and u r good to go. Keep up the good work guys.
just visited this place last week, was walking down the road and which had 4 joints, the punjabi rasoi, chettiars, bow barracks and then this punjabi food corner, the first 3 were all jazzily dressed up to woo customers while the punjabi food corner was elegant without any make up, my instincts told me that these guys rely on their food and not their marketing so went in. was suprised to find a family tha mentioned that 2 generations have been coming in here every saturday without a miss unless they are out of city.man that is what i call a great or sooper customer retention. anyways the food was really yummy and good thing was that it was not heavy on my tummy, secret, these guys use very less oil, so anyways my family had a good grubb and finally when the tab came, it was not pinching the wallet types at all, the owners too paid close attention to everything that was happening around to ensure everybody was taken care of.another secret that i heard was the chef and the manager have been there since the start, that means almost 11 years since the restaurant started.now wonder the food has been good all these years,, anyways kudos to the team of Punjabi Food corner.
Have been here several times, the ambience has improved from before, food as usual is excellent. It's good value for money. The service also has improved from before. Like it...like it, like it.
The best value for money option this side of town , nice hygienic fresh food served at a good price ,the place looks different from before .everything else seems same as it has been for the last 8 years I have been here in Bangalore.
The food is good. Authentic taste at a very good price point. Service can be improved. We ordered lady finger fry, sarsoo ka saag, makke ki roti, phulke and Lassi. They gave a fresh and complimentary serving of salad which had onion, cucumber, radish and green chillies (which is not available in most places in bangalore). Will definitely come back for more vegetarian food.
Superb food
It's too tasty and quality Punjabi style.
Ambience is good .
For 7 people it cost around 1000/- it's cheap for that quality food
Bit parking place is problem.
Overall excellent
Great place to get some authentic Punjabi food. The place can be more clean but can't label it unhygienic. Thali was mediocre and the quantity was felt little less but kulcha was the star, it was authentic and rich, one is more than enough for a single moderate Eater, overall a must visit place for good Punjabi food on budget.
My report card
Price – 6/10
Taste – 8/10
Portion Size - 6/10
Service – 6/10
Ambience – 5/10
Cleanliness - 5/10
Value for money – 8/10
Will I go back – Oh yes!!
Location - Opposite Brigade Millenium.
Ambiance - A small clumsy place with seating arrangement. I always take parcel from this joint.
Price - Reasonable
Service - They are not staffed to handle large orders. Most of their special dishes are prepared after placing the order which consumes more time. Sometimes you'll end-up compromising on the quality.
Taste - Authentic Punjabi flavors are all there!
Tried
- Makki ki roti ( Must try )
- Amritsari Aloo Kulcha ( Lip-smacking, Must try )
- Amritsari pyaaz kulcha ( Must try )
- Punjabi samosa ( Rich flavors. Another must try )
- Sarson ka saag ( I din't like it much )
- Bhaigan Bharta ( Delicious. Finger-licking good )
- Aloo Gobi ( Good )
- Paneer butter masala ( Delicious )
- Babycorn Manchurian ( Can give it a pass )
- Tandoori roti ( Simple soft roti )
- Jeera rice ( Good )
- Palak Kofta ( Innovative new flavor )
Yet to try their special sweets - Gajar ka halwa and jalebi
Great place with Punjabi food style. Taste is very good and rich too. The food is very oily and ghee. So shai portion of food will suffice. The wait time is enormous. Almost 45 minutes wait time.
Taste is worth it and i suggest try it. Parking options available.
Excellent Punjabi veg food. Super in tasty and wallet friendly.
Recommended dishes: Palak paneer, beigan bartha, tandoori kulcha, lassi.
This restaurant was on the main road at the brigade signal and they moved to the new location.
Sitting ambiance is not great, but this place is not for ambiance, it’s for good tasty food.
The food is tasty and the quantity is acceptable. Aptly priced. The curries tastes good here.
Food is nice with North authentic taste this resturant is run by a punjabi lady so taste is not compromised, try khulcha and chole bhature with very less oil, must try it.
Most wonderful food and most wonderful service…. Worth every buck it’s better than any other food in and around the street … one of the best punjabi food I have tasted in Bangalore
Small place which serves only veg food but is really good. Recommendations: tandoori butter naan, any of the curries.
They have great paranthas. Worth trying out if you are in the area. However, note that this is a vegetarian-only restaurant.
