They had amazing butter chicken but now they don't have any non veg item in their menu. Have they turned into a full veg restaurant or is it because of lockdown
Had ordered chole bhature(4.4 rating) taste was awesome nd the size of 2 bhature was quite big, sufficient for one person! Overall good!
One of best restaurant in Bangalore. I enjoyed my food here. The food is really very good, specially punjabi Cuisine and the witter's service is also nice.
One of the best punjabi food that you will get in bangalore..Must visit place and try the prathas and Chicken biriyani. Never miss the gulkand lassi.
Food : awesome
Sevice :Excellent
Ambiance : GoodVery good restaurant , Ordered Chilly Paneer , And Deluxe Thali , it was really tasty .They also gave complimentary butter milk , dahi bhalla , gulab jamun.Nice Place to visit for authentic north Indian food.
Ordered several dishes and they were awesome delicious. Especially roti basket with paneer kajoo masala were a treat to our tastebuds. Love to order again and again!!!
It's a cute little place with very comfortable seating, serving authentic North Indian curries to a lot of homesick techies staying in Nagawara. In addition to chairs and tables, they also have a raised floor with mattress and low tables where people can sit with their legs crossed. How cool!
Their food preparation is simple, only using necessary amount of oil and is well spiced. Recommended dishes would be Stuffed Capsicum and Daal fry. Other than these 2, all the items that I have tried haven't ever disappointed me.
The vegetarian food is really awesome. We ordered paneer and Rajasthani items. It's one of the best North Indian food in Bangalore. A must visit place. The sweet dishes are also too good.
Our go to restaurant for whenever we feel homesick. Really close to our office and home. The food is good, not very big on pocket. We especially love their phulka's which feell like homemade chapati's !
This place was near my pg when i was staying in nagawara. So my friends and I frequently visited this place. Food was very good out here. Only drawback was they are taking too much time to prepare and serve food. So service wise improvement is needed.
For a perfect North Indian cuisine that's even light on your pocket, this is the best place near MTP to go to. You get ample food with great taste at very cheap prices. Also the service and home delivery is on spot.
The ambience is good for a budget resturant. Rajasthani themed, seating on floor cusions with low tables. We tried daal bati churma and it was delicious and authentic. The aloo pyaz paratha also was good. Overall conaidering the price point and the food quality, I am sure to visit this place often.
Wanted veg food and zeroed it on this restaurant. Ordered paneer pasanda and variety of Indian breads. Paneer preparation was great with sumptuous quantity but a notch higher on oil content. Indian breads were prepared to perfection. Will be back soon for more options.
They serve delicious food. I had a Parathe Wali Gali Combo just now. It was a quick delivery and fresh food. I had also ordered a jaljeera but it turned out to be a little too salty. Everything else was good.
One of d best place for a perfect dining...the staff nd service is very gud..... ambience is also very comfortable...the food is served hot nd tastes really gud.....I ordered the cheese ball nd Hara bhara kebab it was freshly cooked-served hot with nice sliced cheese onto it with tomato ketchup and it really tasted gud......the food here is not much costly so perfect place to dine in.....
Quality & taste of food is worth.. We’d ordered Dal Baati which was having authentic taste & quantity was so much that it’ll be sufficient for 2 people.
Service is quick & good as well.
Very proper place for veggies, only vegan food is served here with quality food and variety of dishes.
This place is known for its bajre ki roti with gud and ghee you can try once here.
Good starters options with main course meal.
Place is very good, authentic rajasthani type.

Food quality and taste as per north India is the best in this area. Good ambiance with a welcome drink that starts the food serve is the best way of welcoming customers
Good place to eat, only for vegetarians
Small place but good food taste.
Been there many times for lunch with friends.
Not much expensive.
Worth a visit 🙌🏼
Food- 8/10
Ambience- 6/10
I went for a lunch with family on Saturday afternoon. We ordered a dal bati combo and shev tamatar subji. Food was pretty decent for price paid. They also have Indian style sitting arrangement which looks nice but not very comfortable.
So, if you want a decent Rajasthani food at affordable price, this hotel can be good choice.
Improvement: AC is needed
Awesome lip smacking food I had, that too north Indian style here in bangalore after a very long time....came up with the office group here and we had ordered dal batti churma, with shahi lassi and delight combos all together. The missi roti was a hit and it tasted so well and delicious, really hats off to the chef who had prepared it. The lemon soda at the end we had ordered was also tasting great as we got it customised with less sugar....great work.
The staff was also helpful enough to understand our requirement and get it delivered on the table. Would love to surely visit again and people out there too should make a visit here anytime.
The food is good and was delivered well in time. Good option for home delivery of Indian cuisines. The packaging is also neat . Overall a decent bet.

Had been to this place quite a few times and every time I was satisfied with the food.. Customer service is also awesome..Liked the sitting arrangements as well..
It's located few meters away from Manyata tech park. So it's a great reach for people working there.
We went on a weekday for dinner and tried potato cheese bites, phulkas and veg kadai.
Everything was properly prepared and good in taste.
Pricing is fair enough. They don't overcharge.
All in all you can go and have regular food over here.
Regular customer, appreciate service and quality.
Expert in dum aaloo and butter roti in my view but roti is costly. It should not cost more than 10-15.
I have been to this place more than 10 times. Very pocket friendly place. They are starting up. The owners are very generous and listen the feedback.
The food is average. Daal Baati choorma is awesome. You can definitely visit the place for its Daal Baati choorma. They don't provide it only on fir day and Sunday. So check with them before going.
The food is little more spicy and oily so we stopped visiting the place frequently. But it was very much pocket friendly.
Was just browsing food panda and saw this place to satisfy our food cravings. Ordered DB Special maharaja combo, mutter paneer and sweet curd. The taste was decent, being a recently moved north Indian in the city I was a bit apprehensive of the taste of the north Indian food they will serve, but to my surprise it lived upto to our expectation.
Ordered Baigan Bharta combo and dal bati combo. Dal Bati combo wasn't that great but must say Baigan Bharta combo was delicious. Bajra roti and spicy baigan bharta...Best Combo!
We go here at most thrice a week on 'veg' days. The food is cheap, decent and fills your tummy. Ambience not so great, friendly service. Love the Maharashtrian combo. Annoying part is when we have to fill the feedback form daily.
"Amazing food "... Taste,Quality and Quantity was right for a person. I had ordered the Maharaja combo.
Thanks for making the team lunch with a nice meal.
I have ordered 1 dal Bari combo, 1 maharashtrian baigan varta combo and 1 chola bhatura combo. Now after 20 minutes I got a call from the restaurant that only baingan varta combo is available. I was pissed off but still order that only. Now the food was good . pretty good. Baingan varta had great taste, spicy and the quantity was quite good. Now I never visited that place, so can't say anything about the decore and services but as per food. Everyone should try.
On time delivery. Food is delicious. After long time had proper Desi style food. Rajma Chawla is really yummy. Good quantity too. Would refer this to everyone.
Truly desi food by Desi Bites!!
Unique and Indian taste with good ambiance. Must try to Sabudana Vada, which is available rarely in Bangalore!
Best for pure vegetarian food lovers with lots of variety. All are traditional Maharashtrian, Rajasthani and North Indian dishes. You will get the taste of homely Indian food and you can't resist to visit this restaurant again and again!!
Visited couple of times . Offers Nice combos. Must try shev tamatar, dali bhati choorma, paneer/ gobi lemon and kullad lassi. Ambiance includes regular table sitting and special floor setting which is great experience. Service was pleasant . If you are looking out for nice veg hangout area around Manyata with best value for money then this is the best place
Its a small authentic Rajasthani food outlet with a bit slow service. We ordered Daal Baati churma and Bajra ki roti and those were ultra delicious.
Nice n tasty ... Good ambiance ... Good for dates ;) i liked the dish I ordered . Good for family too . Owner was quite friendly . Good . thanks !
Food is very good and dal bati churma nice.
.
A small yet lovely joint for a pocket friendly north indian veg meal👍 neat and clean..have tried gobi paratha phulka raitha n paneer butter masala.. very economical and tasty!!
Food-3.5/5
Service-3.5/5
Ambience-3.5/5
One of the best north Indian restaurants in this locality. Pleasant ambience. Delicious food. We ordered paneer kolhapuri, aloo bharwan and tawa roti. Soft rotis and very delicious curries. Biriyani was just simple and elaichi lassi was a bliss. Gulab jamoons were hot and delicious. Would have given it 5 stars if the service was little quick. It was slow as we went on Sunday night and there were lot of people. But food was absolutely worth the wait and reasonable price too.
Great North Indian Food ever had near manyata tech park. Minimum Oil usage tasty food all at affordable price. Had Rajasthani dal bati churma in desi bites style.
Finally a good pure veg restaurent near Manyata tech park! Starters are good... the use of oil is minimal...phulkas are soft...sabji are very tasty... def a good place for a light lunch or dinner...if I look around for a small negative ,speed of service can be improved...
Awesome food, ambience and price is very cheap. A must go place. Good north indian and rajasthani food for vegetarians. Service is good and fast.
Desi bites is a small yet well maintained restaurant with a good variety of Rajasthani and North Indian food. I ordered Shahi Paneer, Tawa Roti, Boondi Raita, Jeera Rice. The food was tasty but they can work on making things better. For e.g. gravy of Shahi Paneer was very thin, Boondi Raita was not great more water then required. I will surely go there for a Rajasthani lunch next time. The good part ends here and sad part starts (not related to food). The restaurant charged VAT, though they don't have VAT number.
Desi bites....nice name....nice place....nice food. This type of restaurant was much awaited by the people of nagawara :D Pure north indian + PURE VEG !
The dishes offered were quite impressive, we chose 'paneer kolhapuri spicy' and 'mix veg kadhai'. In breads we ordered tawa roti , missi roti and couple of paranthas. Looking at the size of the roti (either tawa or missi) for the first time you may also laugh like me. It was small, yes, too small, and I DIDNT like that.
Ambience is nice, you can sit on an elevated platform also. Music ...good.
The taste , the most important element, was also fine , which I was bit skeptical about. But you gotta score on this. Extra 0.5 stars for opening it in Nagawara.
It's a very small and descent place to hang out near manyata. The food is good at nominal price. There are not many people to serve, so you will have to wait a while to get your order on your table. Overall descent place with descent food.
Good varieties, nice.. good at reasonable price. Good starter's as well.. Please try to have more options it will be more nicer by that..
We visited this restaurant for lunch today...
Dal Tadka, Veg Hyderabadi and rotis...yummy. The chef customized it exactly how we asked for.
Butter milk-good texture.
Finished the meal with halwa with ghee...burppp...
Must visit again and again!
Was meeting a friend in the area. So found this place on zomato. We'd eve around 9 pm

SERVICE
Needs improvement. Server is totally confused as to which dishes take time and which come fast. Forgot the missi roti. Asked him for extra glass forgot that too. Never came back once to table to see if we needed anything. Then after I had finished dinner no none brought the bill. Finally I just walked up to the counter to pay it.

MISSS ROTI rs 15 ok
BAJRI ROTI rs 16 approx Well made and tasty

SUMMARY
Overall Good Food Decent Ambience
With some refinements the food could be substantially improved.. Oh yes one more thing they tacked on a 14.5% VAT which was not disclosed on menu. I refused to pay it. Another problem is that half of their special dishes are nit available or would take too long. Of all the special subzis only stuffed capsicum was available. Veg soup was not available. Sprout and mixed salad was not. Moong and Gajjar Halwa were not. Basically you have an amateur management who is clueless about running a good restaurant
The place is very descent, not too big. Great place for veggies like me. The quantity is optimum n upto the mark and the taste will sooth your taste buds. Dal tadka was great, the section of Curries in the menu is very nice. It's a must try here. Was a bit dissatisfied with breads but the jeera rice made it up for that.
The staff is very generous😊😊
If possible plz provide proper ventilation in seating area😀
Overall a great place to have good food☺☺☺
Recently I visited Desi Bytes with my family on Saturday. My wife liked the food a lot. Especially the starters like Paneer Machurian , Gobi lemon are really tasty and served hot. Later I visited two many times and taste did not change and it was maintained. Main Course is also good and good thing is its very affordable. Prices are not that high and must visit place for veg lovers.
Was there for lunch on weekday with office friend. Tried the lunch buffet along with kulhad lassi. Nothing really stood out taste wise. Quantity was good. Will come again to try few more from thier extensive menu!!!
This restaurant was on the list for quite some time. Today my friend and I went there to have lunch. Ambience is OK. Food is good compared to its moderate pricing. Service was a bit slow. Overall, one can try it out if looking for North Indian Vegetarian food.
My roommate and i decided to check this place out through home delivery during lunch time today. They delivered exactly as they had estimated. The delight veg thali, dry fruits lassi and chole bhature looked exactly like the photos uploaded by the restaurant (how rare is that!). The quantity was more than sufficient for two gals and we ate rest of thali for dinner as well. Oil used is less and taste is authentic and fresh. Lassi was packed in the kullad and was impressive. Paneer was just melt in the mouth and i am not fan of paneer!!!
Something that was disagreeable for me: the dal and chole were salty. Other than that we enjoyed our lunch/dinner and plan to visit the outlet and try rest of the menu. The excellent VFM value has sealed the deal for me.
Petu Worthy: Combos
Cons: Nonvegetarians may feel left out on this one.
Good food, with a decent enough ambience at affordable prices. The lunch buffet is really cheap, but the quality of the food is pretty good. Ideal for a weekend lunch or dinner with friends or family.
As the name suggests ..... True desipan in the taste and the interiors.... My visit to this place didn't give me any reason to be discontent.
Very delicious Rajasthani dishes along with Chinese starters in the buffet. It was economical too. Would love to visit it again for the mouth watering variety of Rajasthani dishes.
Having lived around this area for almost 3 years, I can say this is a blessing for those pure VEGGIES looking for a CLEAN places to eat. The food is quite like home tasty and can be had regularly.
Pros:
-The Indian style seating is nice.
-Clean place.
-They have real north Indian dishes in the menu.
Cons:
-Not for the meat eaters.
Food :
Food was great .Loved the paneer dishes .
If alone and hungry try out the combo option for a quickie.
Curries are good too.
Had gone with bunch of friends in the indian style section.Turned out to be a great place to hang out or for a quick economical treat ;)
Desert seems to be decent too.
Ambience:
Interior is nice and cosy.Lighting is good. Loved the logo :)
Price :
Price seems to be Economical .
Must :
Try out the India style seating \m/ .could not find any hotel with such arrangements.Compact ,mind your neighbour ,but you will have fun .Try out for snacks in Indian style section
Improvement:
Could improve on quantity .
Bright little joint very close to Manyata. Loved the food. Authentic Rajasthani dishes available. Chinese starters are good too. The sweets are delicious and seem to be made with good quality ghee. Ideal for a quick meal.
Oh yes, try the indian seating. haven't had that kind of experience before!
Went for dinner, we ordered Malai Kofta, chicken and chapati.
Desi bite was veg only but now I surprised to find non veg menu here. Food quality was amazing, I loved the malai kofta.
About staff, they were super friendly. Also price is reasonable.
If you are planning to visit here, do not miss malai kofta and bajra roti, you won't regret.
Overall it was a great experience. Would love to visit again.
I highly recommend this restaurant.
This is one of the most underrated restaurant of the area but is pretty good. May be because of the location bits not accessible. And also because it is on the opposite road to manyata tech park. It's a Rajasthani style veg restaurants and has nice ambiance and taste is food is also good. Can visit to check if suits ur person taste.
Tried their veg platter and paneer kaju masala with phulkas.. Its a must try.. Awesome food and calm interiors.
Best restaurant in whole nagwara . Don't miss this place .best food very good teste.all the manu is very good but price is pretty high . And one more think setting arrangement is too good like king family.
Superb location. Pocket friendly n tasty food location. Little rajsthani ambiance.
Awesome taste. The owner treats heartly. The hotel is veg & non veg both. But vegiterians can prefer it too.
He made awesome food. With rajasthani cuisine too. Price is moderate and won't harm your wallet. Interiors are good. No foul smells, no mess . Table cloths were clean and tidy. In short, this restaurant is best for taste, quantity and money.
Taste wise the food here is really good , Ambiance is a little unqiue for this area you don't find many restaurants in nagavara which concentrate on Ambiance . They have good combos and the staff are helpful . The quantity of food is a little more than normal so it's better to enquire about portion size before ordering .

Been here twice. Special North Indian cuisine. Ambience is good. Seating is available both chairs and dhabha style. Small place and good food. Idle place for young people
The ambience here is unique. Provide facility to sit down and eat in the traditional style They serve north indian vegetarian food. Quality and taste are very good. Must try !
Loved the Dal batti churma and shahi lassi , i had it after long time here in bangalore and it was very tasty. Have tried other dishes too in their menu - i must say all were mouth licking with the desi tadka. It is located to opposite to Manyata tech park and pure veg, very less options in pure veg, so do visit this to have lip smacking food options.
Paneer Kaju curry was delicious and a must try. butter tawa roti was also very tasty and soft. Gajar halwa and mango lassi is too good to miss!
Very good and hygienic food. Friendly staff. Ambiance is really good. It usually takes only 10-15 mins to get your food once ordered.
Great food & services .... staff behaviour are always friendly & helpfull. I would like to highly recommend this place if u r lukng for original & authentic Indian restaurant.
