The first thing I would like to say about this restaurant is its taste. Jarokha has Indian, Mexican, Italian and a couple more different cuisines. Some dishes are original combinations such as beetroot halwa and stuffed gulab jamun. We ordered a pakora chat for the appetizer, am ka panna and lassi as drinks and a sizzler, an enchilada and a Thai red curry with rice for the main course. The chat was crisp and crunchy. The sizzler was great especially as it was topped with spaghetti. The enchilada and Thai red curry could have been more authentic but they still tasted excellent. The am ka panna was nice and tangy but the lassi wasn’t too good.
The service was fast as we got all our food in less than 20 minutes. The price was also very competitive as we got 4 people’s dinner for only Rs 1000. The decor was beautiful. It was basically what you would expect from a good fine dining restaurant. Jarokha’s location is in HSR layout near many different restaurants like McDonalds, Panjabi rasoi and Pizza hut, but it still holds competition.
Over all I would rate Jarokha 4 stars as it is one of the best restaurants I have been to. I would recommend it to pretty much everyone.
Excellent food.. must visit restaurant for veggies..my fav is paneer kurcharan n sizzler biriyani...mexican items were not so good!
Very good food, lots of options. Their buffet is also good.
