Taste Of Darkness - Bengaluru - Photo album

A hidden gem. Deep inside Church Street inside the Dubai Plaza complex this eatery is located amidst shopping complex. Authentic Tibetan and Himalayan food, the taste is really nice. There are small things that matters such as the Momos were cooked in Chicken fat instead of oil that made it taste 10
Great place that serves authentic Tibetan cuisine. It’s a small humble place, nothing fancy but quite authentic. Food is best had at the restaurant where it’s served steaming hot. They do have vegetarian options. Only thing is- dress in light clothing since it feels hot there due to low ventilation
What an absolutely lovely place to dine at 🌟 They have two options for non-veg: chicken & beef. We ordered: *Chicken laphing (very spicy)🌶️ *Steam beef momos (not spicy) *Fried beef momos (took very long to be prepared, we had almost finished eating by then) *Beef thenthuk dry: loved the flavour 🤤🤤🤤
It's a very old place in Bangalore in the heart of church street. They server authentic Tibetan food. It's simple, small, there's nothing fancy. The price and menu is very minimal. This restaurant is tough to find as there's no proper hoarding, try to take help of Google maps.
After long time I visited here some food test was different over all it was good
Taste of Tibet is a legendary place in Bangalore. Every college kid from generation used to visit there for good food and pricing meeting our budget. Place is exactly the same but pricing n menu items have increased.
This Place is located on 2nd floor Location is correct & easily accessible Staff there were very polite Background music was soothing (Tibetan songs). Clean place , Good Quantity, Super tasty food and Quick service . 1. We ordered Laphing Dry & Soup which were so good i'll visit here again whenever
Great place to try Tibetan cuisine. The eatery is hidden amidst a shopping complex and finding it can be a little difficult but it worth checking out. The chowmein and chicken shapta is worth checking out. The prices are quite affordable as well. Not the cleanest or finest place but worth trying non
I have been visiting Taste of Tibet since 2008 after reading an article in The Times of India. True to the article, this place has consistently been living up to expectations all through the last few decades. Simple and classic Tibetan food and hospitality is what you can expect here. Mostly self s
Receltly I had an opportunity to visit TOT near Brigade road. The set up is very simple and the interiors give you a glimpse of Tibet. Food was very tasty. I have now developed a taste for fried momos with their exotic sauce. Fried rice was very authentic. Nice place if you want to introduce yoursel
Food was delicious. The lassi was moderately watery so it was good for my thirst. The Dalai Lama's writings were written on the walls. It moved me.
A good Resturant to try tibetan cuisine, it would be a bit difficult to find it in 1 go. Its located on the 2nd floor and you can reach it by steps only as the lift was not working. Coming to the ambience, its very basic and place is not very clean. The day i visited this place a peculiar stink was
I'm very fond of Tibetian food. And taste of tibet happened to me as an absolutely treat to quench my thirst. Their momos are soo yum. They serve beef too.. It's pretty hard to find the place I'd say it's hidden, it took a lot of time to figure out the restaurant. It's a decent space with quite a lo
Laphing is so tasty and the momo is delicious 🤌🏼,it’s better to dine in ,online ordering isn’t nice
The food is amazing. They have good quality of food and also the quantity is also satisfying. They provide authentic Himalayan cuisine with a good ambience. I had ordered beef shapta and tingmo, chicken momo and mix chicken momo thukpa. The staffs were also humble. They have a hand wash basin but no
This place is on 2nd floor of a shopping Center. You will have to search for the place. Amazing Chicken momos. Tingmo was nice too. American Chopsuey not a fan! Fried rice and noodles were also nice.
The ambience was okay, but the food was really good. Would have appreciated more if it was less oily. Overall a very nice experience. Loved how everyone was warm and friendly and also allowed our pet dog inside.
