Most amazing mutton biryani in Bangalore must try
Had lunch with a office colleague last week. Ordered the staple mutton biryani with a full plate of chicken kababs as a side dish. Mutton biryani as usual was excellent with the mutton pieces very soft. Kababs was a regular fare. Do not know why this place has got such low rating. Good food.
I have ordered food from this particualr Rahhams quite a few times and I really their panner butter masala and butter naan it’s so amazing. The quantity and quality of food is really good.
We ordered Mutton Biryani and Tandoori Chicken. The biryani was good in quantity. The spices were a good blend of northern and southern styles.
The Tandoori Chicken was also good in quantity — a single person alone may not be able to finish it. The taste was nice, with the charred taste not dominating. The spice was balanced.
This is a good place to go if you want to have a family meal or a business lunch.
If you are in the quest for the perfect birayni, it may be a lifelong journey. But one of the stops you must make on the way, is at this restaurant.
Ambience- good. Will not say over the top, but clean and functional.
Service- good. Helpful servers and quick service.
Food- come and taste for yourself. I was very surprised.
No of pax. 3
2 mutton biryani. The mutton biryani was delicious. The meat was tender, almost melted in my mouth. The flavour was rich but not overpowering with spice or oil. The accompanying tomato salad was well paired with the rice.
4 firni. Desert was firni. Good
1 Chicken Sholay gravy. This dish will win the second prize for the afternoon. Chicken in a mildly spiced gravy. Well paired with roti and rice. Superb
1 The mutton chops. 1st prize. Finger licking good. We ordered one portion between 3 people which was definitely not enough. Hot. Well marinated. Tender not tough. With pepper. Mmmmmmmmmmm
Highly reccomend
I usually visited this place ...
Had taken biryani in parcel and sarwama which was. Very yummy .....veg fried rice also very tasty but not well mixed ....overall good place ..
I ordered from Zomato but the packing label is from Swiggy.. this is so funny and stupid
One of my favourite biriyani places in bangalore. Very good service. Mutton biriyani and a variety of chicken kebabs are a must try. Nothing much to ride home about the ambience though.
Just love chicken Sholey and chicken biriyani . Mutton dishes are really delicious. Best hotel to have heavy meal with family and friends. Do visit for the heavy meal lovers .
When any guest comes in and want to have bangalore mutton biryani.. I can’t think of any other place than RAHHAMS.. perfectly cooked rice with mutton which is super soft and great in taste.. had been with 3 of my friends for lunch and they all loved it so much.. we had ordered a grilled chicken too but that was average..service is real bad here.. pricing is reasonable.. I guess the low rating in Zomato is due to their poor service and arrogant staff.. management needs to take extra care of service because I have noticed the lazy attitude when there are hardly any customers also.

I was awestruck to dine at Rahhams restaurant because their Mutton biryani is too good. I had heard a lot about this place from several blogger friends and forums. I wanted to try this biryani and when I looked at their rating on Zomato, I was surprised. It's definitely a highly underrated place!
I had their Mutton Biryani, which is. of Ambur style. Also, in shakes I tried their Pista Shake and Mango Shake.
The mutton biryani was tasty and flavourful
Thee mutton pieces in it were succulent and flavourful. It was prepared with zeera samba rice and the quality was too good. It had an aroma of spices and the taste was balanced.
Pista Shake was different than most places. It was nutty and they had added lots of crushed pista and didn't use the pista ice cream. It's a welcome change from the other Pista Shakes that we get usually.
Mango Shake was prepared with the fresh fruit amd not the ice cream. Again, it was yummy and much to my liking.
Their service is very good and the ambience is superb! They have good seating arrangements, which are comfortable. The lighting is dim and quite romantic.

One of the best Ambur Style Biryani i ever had. Biryani was aromatic & Spice level was pefect. We ordered Mutton biryani, Mango shake & Pista shake.
Mouth Watering Biryani. Mutton was very fresh, tasty & well cooked. They served biryani with Salan & Raita.
Salan & raita was very good.
Nice family restaurant.
Pista shake was yum & they have added lot of pista in it. Its totally diffrent from other places.
Mango shake was good.
Ambience was very good. Cool & Chilled restaurant.
Service was good. Staff behaviour was very good.
I felt its a underrated restaurant.
Its a great place to have Muslim style dum biryani. Had their chicken and mutton biryani. Both tastes good. My children would love to eat Biryani from this place. Had ordered for Shawarma too...even that was good. It is one of the best place to order biryani.
We had taken chicken biryani and mutton biryani as take away and they were damn good.
One of the best places to have good satisfying biryani
The Best Biriyani Ever had....!!!!
Loved It....!!!!❤️
Thank you Rahhams......!!!!🙏
The Authentic Biriyani of Bengaluru....!!!!
👍👌😘😍..!!
Visited Rahhams Shantinagar for a monday lunch on dead starving day and the try was really worth it ! The biriyanis - both chicken and mutton were yummy and perfectly flavoured. My wife's opinion is she has had the best mutton biriyani ever after having this !! However I felt the the prices are slightly on a higher side with the biriyanis itself costing 200+ it went around 950+ for 2 with 2 biriyanis, juices and an additional mutton gravy ! Definitely the best biriyanis in town.. Way to go!
One thing about Rahhams I love is its biryani , perfectly cooked and mutton just dips in the mouth.Disadvantages are Quantity is less and Price is on higher side.Other items are ok but not great.I usually go for take aways as it will be always crowded.
My report card
Price – 7/10
Taste – 8/10
Service – 7/10
Ambience – 6/10
Value for money – 7.5/10
This is one of those old famous places in Bangalore. Their shawarmas and biryanis are quite famous. However, their shawarmas are not exactly of the same quality and quantity as they used to be.
Amazing food and service. The shawarma is the best!!! Butter chicken with butter naan is magnificent. I visit here often and the paan outside is a delight.
Excellent mutton biryani must visit decent ambience would love to visit again and again also try out variety of Kabab's they are very tasty and juicy
I ordered twice from Rahhams in a week. That is how amazing their biryani is! Reminds me of this outlet "dial-a-party"(they had the BEST biryani)in Fraser town before! Their mutton biryani is just delicious! Pahadi kebab is so tasty ! A must try!!
Nice place.
Had a delicious chicken biryani Also had chicken stake kabab....loved it...
Very famous and favorite restaurant.
Well maintained and clean...
Rahhams !! A decent place for biryani. No out of the world experience but it's alright if you don't have any better option. Have tried both their mutton and chicken biryani along with Chicken Chettinad which was pretty good.
You can try it out for their starters but for biryani I'd say there are better places.
Yesterday we got Chicken Biriyani and oil free Kebab. Biriyani was moist and perfect spice combination. Kebabs was also perfectly done. One of the good joints that give good quality Biriyani and Kebab for both dining and take away. Sure to visit again!!! Great job guys...
We had naan and rottis with butter chicken it was superb ! The idea of showing the kitchen to the customer shows how clean they are ! And a pleasent place for south indian dishes!
Just as I enter all I see is a corporate crowd.. managers, agents, team outing, lunch outing such type. It was a bit crowded. So as we got the table for the first 10min no one answered, then he came for the order so as usual one starter and for the waited Biryani (mutton).
It arrived quickly to my surprise nd the crowd.
The biryani was so buttery and tasty we really liked to order one more as the quantity is *very* low, as per my opnion it wasn't also worth payin 220 for one biryani but I also agree without any doubt the taste is amazing for first time try.
Then comes the after food, the finger bowl wasn't handed to us for 15min til the hands got dry and I had to Insist one of the hotel people and the bill took around 5min. So it took us 15min to eat and half hour to jus wait around for stuff. Anyway the biryani was really amazing, got to work on their quantity. If I would hav been rating for the service perśe it's 2 that's it..
Amazing must try food. Friendly staff, quite busy during regular hours. Moderately priced, clean insides. Recommend this place for non veg lovers.
I am a satisfied customer.
I choose my time to visit carefully, so recommendation is visit around 1pm. On Mondays it is peaceful.
Highly recommended mutton Biryani.
My experience says there source of meat is also good.
I rate their Biryani above Bawarchi, Paradise, Kareem's or Aljawaar or Nazeer.
Staff is efficient and polite.
Briyani here is pretty nice. The prices are a little steep but it's good food. Don't forget to try the kababs here it's definitely worth it. The flavors do stand out a lot and in Bangalore it a definitely must try.
They don't serve hyderabad style dum biriyani. However it's delicious, tried both mutton and chicken. Meat is tender. Meat lovers must try Patthar ka gosh and mutton kaalla.
Best shawarma at cheapest price in this locality.. They have normal shawarma at Rs 70 and jumbo shawarma at Rs 140.
Rare treasures are generally discovered accidentally in life.
So was my experience with this restaurant.
Amazing preparations are offered. Each menu item has a special taste offered by the chef.
Less on masala. Light on pocket.
Ample parking available.
Decent ambience adds value to the overall presentation.
Service too was quick.
Staff explained to me in patience when questioned on the difference in tastes of the widespread menu.
They giving tasty food but service need to be improved
Chicken soup was superb. Service was quite slow. Shawarma was filling and good. Ambience was okay. Located at the corner ,near the bus depot on double road and next to foot bridge. Prices, a bit on the higher side.
Nice place for a good lunch or Dinner. Plenty of choices for Non veg food. The starters are yummy the main course very good and tasty. Biryanis are average only. A special shout out goes to Pahari Kababs that are just delectable and amazing and tasty and to Kali mirch chicken starter which is also yum. Overall one of my favourite places to have non vegetarian food. It's quite cozy and the staff are courteous and helpful. It's very neat and clean. Will visit again.
One of the best mutton biriyani I have ever had ,we went there at around 4 pm , it was not all crowded at that time, they told that only rice items were available, so we ordered mutton biryani(2) and kabab, total bill was around 920 including GST, but worth every penny, totally satisfied, will try to visit again.
Awesome place for Authentic Biryani, their mist try is the mutton Biryani. Also the oil kebab & pahadi kebabs are awesome must have. There is easy parking available & it's a place to visit with family. The place is also easily accessible for wheelchairs. They also serve Vegetarian food here but is best for non vegetarian food.

Rahhams Frazer town – double road
Is a land mark for one of those legendary outlets in town who had been serving lip-smacking biryani and succulent kebabs since ages!
Finally I got a chance to taste their Mutton biryani many people talk about – and decided not to miss it!
So I along with my friends decided to pay a visit to this outlet on Thursday for dinner – during the holy month of RAMDAAN!
But we have loads of mixed reviews about this place !
Food 4.5/5 – Do try their mutton starters and Mutton biryani for sure – you would love it!
Again nothing much to try or rave about for vegetarians!
Service - 4/5 – They are humble – polite staff. They made sure we were seated comfortably – provided us with cutlery and served us and were attentive too.
Ambiance – 3.5/5 – Simple décor with some chandelier’s giving us a feel of old legendary place, the curtains the colors they choose for interiors and also the sofas give us the old feel!
VFM- 4.5/5 – keeping in mind their reasonable fare and tasty food – one can come back for sure and try their stuff especially the mutton biryani and mutton starters.
