Great place. Love the food..........................
This is a must try breakfast spot in HSR area. I have come here whenever i crave something homely and was never disappointed. The food is so authentic. Price may seem a bit high quantity wise. Its better to go before 11am for breakfast items.

South Indian food as simple as it can get. They serve Tamil Nadu flavours that give a break once in a while from the Karnataka style breakfast options. Their sambhar is amazing but the idli is dense. Seating is quite simple just like a college mess but the food is hearty and feels good.
This is a very small joint with close to 30+ seating.
Serves a typical South Indian food. You get different varieties of Idlis including Podi Idly, Dosa varieties, Pongal, Vada, Poori Masal, Tea and Coffee. (These are the main items in the menu for the breakfast)
They also serve meals.
The Pongal here is good - especially the consistency. 😍 The typical TN style Pongal with peppercorns.
Vada and Masala dosa was also tastier.
They serve these dishes along with few varieties of Chutneys - thengai Chutney, Kara Chutney and Coriander Chutney..
The chutneys were very good. Excellent Sambar.
From a pricing perspective not that expensive, it's nominal.
Good joint for a n economical breakfast in the HSR / Jakkasandra area. 🥞
Easy location to reach. A small place with limited seating. Tasty tamil style tiffins … loved their vada curry with idly. Vada curry dosa. Variety of chutneys…Chapathi available in the morning as breakfast is a rare availability, tasty though.
Didn’t like few things like… no bottled water… no tissue papers too 😂.
Service was quick…
No water available in the jugs.
Clearance of plates was taking time forever.
Reasonable pricing.
On d road parking.

The Mylapore Cafe serves authentic Tamil Nadu style food
The food is tasty, fresh and varied
The price is reasonable and the service is nice
The breakfast comes with 3 different chutneys and no sweet sambar
The ambience is decent but not fancy No Title.
I have visited The Mylapore Cafe 3-4 times and I have always enjoyed their authentic Tamil Nadu style food. If you are looking for a place that serves traditional dishes from this South Indian state, you can choose this cafe without hesitation. I had the chance to taste some of their signature items, such as Idly sambar, Podi dosa, vada, filter coffee and more. The Idly sambar was soft and fluffy, the Podi dosa was crispy and spicy, the vada was crunchy and savory, and the filter coffee was aromatic and refreshing. The price was also reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food. The service was really nice and courteous, which you don’t find in all these Karnataka style restaurants (Udipis, Sagars, Darhinis & etc) that are more common in the city. They serve breakfast with 3 different kinds of chutney that are distinct in flavor and texture, and no sweet sambar that spoils the taste of the food. Overall, it was a nice experience and I would recommend this cafe to anyone who loves Tamil Nadu cuisine. The ambience was not very fancy or modern, but it was decent enough to have a comfortable and satisfying meal.
Best vegetarian breakfast spot in HSR. Pongal, idli, vada, poori masala, and dosa are excellent here. Taste of TN is expressed in all the dishes. Filter coffee is a must have.
Service is fast and good.
Price is moderate.
Crowded in the morning mostly.
♿🚫 Not accessible for all.
Parking is limited on the road side.
We reached here around 12 on Sunday afternoon. It's a small cafe with limited seating near har layout jakkasandra serving tamil delicacies. We had poori Rs 40 2 poori were served with chutney and aloo masala.
Good place for a quick bite. Don't look for ambience it's pretty average. This is pure veg restaurant mainly orders go on zomato swiggy.
I have posted here menu for your reference. This is purely self service. Weekdays Monday to Saturday 7 30 am to 12 00 pm breakfast 12 30 pm to 3 30 pm lunch evening 5 pm onwards evening tiffin s.
Sundays lunch not served
Good South Indian restaurant near Agara lake
Looking for breakfast, tea, coffee can come here. Service is fast and the price is decent.
They serve dosa, idly, Pongal, Puri.
They serve different types of chutney
It's small place just beside the road.
Clean and well maintained.
Food is amazing. I love the different chutneys and the non sweet sambhar Tamilian style. Pure vegetarian.
Coffee is also available.
Pricing and staff behaviour is also good. Not many parking space around this area during busy hours. But can enter the lane beside the cafe and park four wheelers.
Found this Cafe on seeing the review of D square vlogs .. I m a chennaite and felt so good that I found this place 😍.. the taste makes me feel that I m at chennai.. loved their pongal... staffs r really friendly... 😊😊 only disadvantage is the place is very small and we have to wait to get a table.... The price is very reasonable and food quality is better than other veg restaurants 😊😊
Best place to taste tamilnadu style breakfast / dinner. Kothu parato and chilli parota are must try. All dosa varieties are good here.
One of the best South Indian restaurants in Bangalore. I love the food and their service.
Authentic Tamil flavours at reasonable cost.Thali and parota is great. They also take up catering which I tried for a group of 40.
I preferred to go there only for their distinct Tamil nadu taste. The food was OK and bit different than what you get in the other darshini hotels. Tried their idiappam and podi dosa which were good. Price is slightly on the higher side but quantity is good. If you are craving for Tamil nadu food in Bangalore, you can come here.

One of the best breakfast place. Food taste and quality easily beats major brands like A2B, Adyar bhavan etc
It’s an authentic Tamil Nadu style restaurant located just opposite to Agara lake! They serve soft and pristine idly(no rava mixed) with three types of chutney. Podi idly is a popular dish here, mini idlies fried with spicy chutney powder. The place is kinda cramped but properly ventilated. A must-try place if you are in the vicinity of Tecahers colony.
