Chaska Bun has spoilt it for me. I don't like to have tea in any other place now. The buns are so yum. I keep buying their Raagi biscuits as they don't have sugar in them. Lot of healthy and tasty options..
Not just that the guy who runs the place Giri is very inspiring. Everytime I go there I see him pumping energy and very welcoming. Feels like I'm in some hipster cafe in the U.S.
It's a must place to visit... Especially with such a climate in Bangalore being from Bombay the concept of maska bun was what I missed from long and finally yesterday was delighted to have it here... Awesome buns... i m not a chai lover but after having it there I have become a fan too of chai......N elaichi chai serves there is toh out of the world... Overall experience I can say was ... WOOOOWWWWW... Looking forward to visit again....
Chaska bun is a breath of fresh air. The buns are home made, fresh and made of whole wheat. The eggs are delicious.
The chai is made fresh upon ordering (and not stored in flasks). Good tasting snack at good prices.
We need more places like chaska bun.
Great place to dine out. Tasty , healthy with reasonably priced. Keep going . All best wishes.
Nice place to have a chai with some Bun :p
If you are bun liker , do we visit here.
Yummy buns !! A must visit place for food lovers :-)

Fantastic bun, Fantastic tea and Fantastic service!!
Chai at Chaska Bun z always an awsm feeling..Loved it.Quality z too gud.
Chaska bun menu is the best
They have around 25 veritys of tea. Each and every tea are making fresh on time.no words best tea in town.
They have their own buns made by wheat with fillings upon requirements that we need 🥰 top level with high quality products.perfect hygiene.not using any chemicals and colours. You must visit here😍😍
I would recommend people to taste the best tea and bun available at chaska bun. When you enter with confusion what to eat Nitesh( counter guy ) will welcome you with warm gesture. He will suggested us the best one. Order wilk take 5 mintues but intact. Full of energy. People who visit chaska bun they are known customers. If anyone visiting koramangala please hop in and encourage their effort. They are giving Quality food with budget friendly.
I'm a big chai fan and Chaska Bun is the place where I have had the best chai of my life. It is run by people who are organized, hence the service is fast. The price is higher but worth it.
I had fresh baked cookies at the outlet , and they were heavenly . Gulkand with butter is a preference and it was a no brainer that I had to order that . I also had the wheat carrots and date cake , it was nice . The staff in this outlet and are very friendly and it definitely adds to the experience .
Cute little place with whole wheat buns with an variety of fillings. Makes for a nice snack. Is a must visit if you're a chai person.
Located at the corner of a street on Kormangala 5th Block, this place is packed with people who are trying to get a hold of thier snacks. A small outlet but makes a big difference on the foodie community. Ambience is decent you have to grab your own place after placing a self order with the token system which is fast and efficient. Tea is made then and there after you place a order which shows how much they give importance to the quality they serve coming to the food the Bun maska and the Egg Burji with Bun Maska was super good, even though Egg burji packed a good punch of spice it was well balanced, must visit cafe at that part of the town cause of its value for money.
Loved the food. Yummy. Though little pricey but yet worth the money. The variety of chai is superb. Good place to have something different for breakfast. But before 8am.
This is just toooooooo good.. The lemon tea, the ginger tea, the butter scotch maska, the chicken shawarma maska, the staff, the owner.. everything is just overwhelming awesome.
Had been trying to go to 'Chaska Bun' for a very long time now, on recommendation from a friend who just loves it and would leave nothing to chance to just have a meal there. Got an opportunity to visit the place with the same friend, when we decided to start our day with a breakfast there yesterday morning.
Was awed to see the place owing to the sheer simplistic design and decor, lovely location and choice of food. We settled for an order of 'Chaska Bun with Double Egg-Burji' and their special 'Ginger tea'. The great thing to notice was that the order was prepared fresh right in front of us. The 'Egg-Burji' tasted delicious and was a perfect match for the fresh & delicious wheat bun. Upon inquiry, we learnt that the management doesn't rely on any external baker for the buns, but prepare their own buns, making sure that they maintain the same quality of the ingredient which is essence for them. Ginger tea was also prepared fresh, with the freshly grated ginger, right in front of our eyes. No exaggeration here, but the tea was certainly the best that I have ever had. So refreshing and soothing to the throat, that I could feel the tingling refreshing sensation with every gulp.
A must recommend for a visit, I am sure anyone would love the place.
The Chaska buns are tasty and fillings.
I have a lot of combinations of eggs and chicken with a wheat bun, which reminds my college days.
I have liked the egg bhurji chaska bun and chai :)
Amazing place!! Just in love with their tea(though I am not a tea person)!
It's a small place in 6th blk, with amazing music and great staff!!
I had ordered a lemon mint tea, it tasted as good as it looked.
Had visited few weeks before on a weekend,it was crowded and very little seating space.Had ordered Chaska bun with scrambled egg it was tasty. One has to wait for the order.
This is another quick bite/ fast food joint with a different kinda bun. They give it their own twist and it tastes really good, my favorite is the egg bhurji chaska bun. And they've got good chai :)
Nice, soft wheat buns and a lot of combinations of eggs and chicken with it to eat. Very nice, polite and courteous staffs. Also, they play nice music as well. Go have your tummy filled with buns 😁
Cool place to hangout and enjoy the soft homemade buns with the choice of fillings and the famous ginger tea. Casual sitting with a very much happening vibe.
A casual road side hangout place that serves comfort food. I love eggs and the menu is full of options with eggs.
The chaska buns are tasty and filling. The shot tea is really short, just like a shot and was not enough, prefer to buy the medium size :D all in all, comfortable af food!!
I am a fan! I have a personal favourite - egg roast bun maska. It creamy and spicy and delicious. I love how they can change the spiciness level as per the customers request. I have had the same pick 4-5 times now, always consistent in taste. Not to mention, they make their own bread! Must try!
Do wanna enjoy different flavours of tea....? and delicious bun filled with veggies and non veggies....? l bet this is the place. The tea they serve you with magically blended will make you a regular customer there. This is one of my favourite place in the town....! quiet clean friendly for all sorry now this place has been closed permanently
First of all sorry for the bad picture attached, clicked in night didn't came out well.
Now coming to this place. If you want to have healthy and delicious snack then this is the must try. This place have most food options with the base of Bun. I ordered Chaska Bun with Double Egg Bhurji, Cinnamon tea shot which I loved the most and Chaska Cake (Made up of Wheat + carrot + Dates). Though I am not a big fan of tea but I ended up drinking Cinnamon tea 2 times 😋. Nice eatery with reasonable price. I highly recommend it 👍
I stopped by the vibrant looking tea kiosk, to quench my tea thirst and ended up having one of the best Ginger Lemon teas of all times. They take their time to prepare the tea and the reason it's quite evident in the first sip.
The tea is freshly brewed, you can experience the fresh ginger and lemon in each of your gulps and eventually wind up with a relishing chai experience. The tea comes in various sizes Shot, Break and Fanatic and types with Sugar/Honey.
I usually prefer Break.I guess the Shot will leave you asking for one more Shot :-) and Fanatic may be just too Fanatic but try out what suits you and it would be great , if you could let me know in comments below how it went for you. Further the menu is quite exhaustive and surely is a delightful read for all the chai lovers out there.
A small suggestion to the management, please improvise on the glass cups (though it gives the feel of Indian chai which is awesome), sometimes it gets too hot to hold.A nice looking porcelain or khullad cup would be a nice optional addition to your list of chai inventories.
Great place if you are craving for a cup of tea with wide range of Chaska Buns to choose from, mouth watering, prepared in-house. Outdoor seating with nice music to open up ur senses to cure your morning hangover..lol
Nice tea joint for chai lovers. They have various range of tea and quick bites. Never tried the food, but my favourite item from the menu is “honey lemon mint tea” (a must try).
The best part what I like is the perfect amount of elaichi in the elaichi tea.

A good place to have small tapas in the evening time. Serves homemade bun with egg, egg burji, and samosa with a variety of tea. Chaska bun with egg burji is my all time favourite.
Evening is the good time to visit this place.

Love, love, love this place! Their buns are wheat based and they’re all baked at their own workshop. Chaska bun jam is my all time favourite, but the rest of the menu and the cakes are really good, too. My only gripe would be lack of plain, simple chai as I’m not into flavoured ones. I’m surprised that’s not on the menu, I’m sure there’s plenty of people who like their chai plain.
If you are a tea lover then you must visit this place:) Usually crowded in evening hours
Known for their teas and buns
Must try: Elachi Tea, Mint Lemon Tea, Lemon Honey Tea and Samosa Bun
This place is best to have some bun wallla omelet or bunwala burji excellent combo of brown bun which is Home made soft bun and the chai available out here is superrrrrrr se uppar try out the cinnamon flavor tea shot great energy booster
Went there for quick breakfast fix while in Bangalore, the buns are tasty and affordable , we tried the scrambled egg, samosa and aloo patty. Samosa was unique and tasty with hint of curry leaf coming through. Lemon tea was delicious with a salt rim that made it totally Instagram worthy! However, service was slightly slow and we had to follow up a few times for our teas.
One place for the bun lovers specially the bun is so soft that you willlove to eat it .the best part is the team is so conopertaive that they ensure that you go out with a smile specially Imtiyaz he is so active and vibrant his energy bring smile on your lips keep up the good work team must visit guys
In the heart of the food street this place is quite unmissable. Right opposite 52 Wall street, this place is quite a treat for bun and egg fans and of course the tea. Variety of teas and desi burgers this place definitely stands out. Very easy on the pocket, delectable and filling that is how I would like to describe this place. One bun chaska with egg and you are sorted for the rest of the day.Definitely worth at least a few visit till you would want to come again and again. Keep it up team.
Simply delightful!
Ordered chaska bun with double egg dry roast and elaichi tea. Both delicious. They have a token system in place which is neat. The place opens at 7 AM which is great for early office goers. Biggest highlight for me was when the guy who took my order asked if I liked the food. Always puts a smile on my face when i see people who genuinely care about customer experience
Cute little place right opposite to China Pearl. Serves amazing tea in various types, and amazing snacks. My favorites being bun maska, Keema omlette. Love their quirky names. Service is fast. Has a lil uncomfortable seating, but the tea served there can just unknot your brains! Oh and they play some really cool music!
We are regulars here. Love everything they serve with perfect taste and love. I can even dance to the music they play. A great hangout.cheers!
I discovered this place 2 days back and have already been here 4 times.
Their ginger tea is to die For.
They also have a wide variety of buns and teas.
Out of the three - ginger, cinnamon and elaichi ginger is the best
Also their lemon teas are really refreshing.
This place is always packed be it weekend or weekdays, noon or night.
This place is full of life, thanks to the super cool owner who also owns a cool beard!! :)
He’s full of energy, his team looks motivated and charged, always!
The stuff they sell there...loaded and yummy. Feels like good quality stuff!
My regulars here:
Ginger chai
Lemon chai
Bun maska jam
Bun non veg bazooka
Bun egg something
Pls go ahead and try this place out :) cheers
Great place to snack to your heart’s content. Love the samosa, the bun with egg burji, the shawarma and the carrot cake. The owner always explained to the customers about the carrot cake being his grandmother’s recipe, there was no artificial sweetness, the sweetness would come from the dates in the cake and yes the cake was so yummy! I am not a sweet tooth person but even I love their carrot cake. The owner is one of the most energetic and friendly guy you will meet , he makes sure that he talks to everybody and keeps his staff on their toes.
Visited this place with a friend on an evening after work! This is by far one of the friendliest places ever! The people who serve the food are so warm and have so much love, I already know this is going to be an "Adda" for me and a couple of my close friends! Cannot wait to go here. The food is also yum! We had the chaska bun with scrambled egg and chaska bun with single omelette and I loved both of them! Tried elaichi chai and that was also on point! Definitely going back :)
Food -4/5

Love for the best healthy buns and amazing Ginger tea , prefer you guys would shift to a bigger space with better seating arrangements, the space is always crowded cos of the weather at Bangalore these days and ofcos people love your place for the good service you offer.
Thank you for adding more joy to life with your amazing tea and amazing bun
I have tried every varieties of teas in the shop. Most of them were really good and I feel the staffs are also really nice. I like it when they pump up the shop with delightful music.A small shop with good ambiance...
I am not the guy who writes #ChaiLover on their Tinder profile. But I am a huge fan of Chaska Bun.
Theirs is easily the best chai I have ever had, and maine ghat ghat ki chai pi hain.
But they don't stop at chai. Cool summer Drinks. Great. Chaska Buns. Great. Yet to have something here that I didn't like.
Recommendations:
Cinnamon Tea

Chaska Bun Maska
Gulkand shake
Food is amazing and is worth the money. I just wish there were more outlets, especially in HSR layout because that's where I stay ;). Also, I wish they got small tables. It would have been convenient for the customers.
I visited this place to try their Chaska Bun and teas, which is available in different sizes.
- short
- break
- fanatic
I tried their signature dish - Chaska Bun with egg dry roast.
The tea always is : Ginger tea.
They prepare tea then and there in front of you.
It's a small place to get quick bites, while enjoying good music.
Not much of seating, a little expensive too.
Craving for tea after yumm and heavy breakfast pulled us to this place.Had heard about this place earlier thus wanted to try it out..
The staffs are friendly and tea is good..
One of the ultimate tea and bun fast food outlets (restaurants) in Bangalore which I have ever seen. An awesome small (outlet)place to hangout with friends and family in a group. This restaurant has a decent ambiance which has a lively music and some interesting traditional seating arrangements. It will be crowded most of the time and usually a wait here. Many varieties of tea and buns are the signature offerings of this fast food restaurant. Ginger tea is one of my favourites here in this outlet. This restaurant attracts all age group people towards it. Outside seating arrangements with chairs are made up of coconut trunks or logs which gives a traditional look to it. Every time the tea will be made freshly and served hot as don’t keep tea in a flask. The restaurant will open at 7am in the morning and open till midnight. The tea and other drinks available in various size glasses.
Growing up in a place where the nearest town was about 3kms away, the favorite places to eat were the local bakery, the only little tea stall and the store that sold all the candies, biscuits and the colored goli sodas.
Whenever I passed by this outlet, I would see people sitting outside on little seats made of coconut trunks and tables so low that you would wonder if it’s a stool or a table. I was intrigued as more often than not the little place would be full of people smiling, talking and enjoying their evening chai.
So we went there a while ago for a little snack and tea.
Looking up at their board, ordered Chaska bun Kheema Karizma, carrot cake and plain tea. I was told they have only cardamom tea so I said I would rather eat and not drink anything.
We sat in the little coconut trunks turned seats as the weather turned breezy and “about to rain”. The Chaska bun came with little chicken kofta kind of filling. It was exceptional. The bun was soft and fresh and the chicken and the gravy inside was terrific.
The carrot cake was probably the best I have had off late. And when I expressed disappointment that I missed plain tea after some good food, they were ready to make one customized just for me. A plain tea.
Waited for about 10 minutes and when it arrived I felt it was worth all the complaints and the waiting. One of the best tea I have ever had. Just strong and sweet enough to finish a fantastic bun and cake.
At 190 bucks, it's reasonably priced.
This place not only brought back the nostalgia of my little hometown in Kodagu, but they went that extra mile to make a plain tea for me. ! And no.. I didn’t miss the Goli sodas! :)
Rarely do you find places which not just delight your hunger pangs but also warm you up! I look forward to visit this place once a week at least, not just for the food but the way it is served. There’s a whole lot of passion, love and energy on the faces of the staff especially Giri who inspires me greatly in many ways😊
Coming to the food, they have some really great combinations of egg and chicken bun muskas and they keep experimenting with new flavours! Not to forget the great summer coolers they have added, Gulkand lassi and nannari juice are my favourite!
A must, must visit when in 5th block!
A tiny little place at the corner of the road with amazing food and appropriate price for tea in koramangala !. for tea we had lemon tea ,lemon mint tea ,elaichi tea and Ibiza ice tea to beat the heat ! ,the tea's were rejunervating and refreshing! to eat we had the chicken damaka which was spot on ! , veggie patty bun chaska and samosa bun chaska which delicious and tummy filling!,but one thing I wanted to point out to the chaska bun team was eventhough there was poster of no smoking there was continuous smoking going on next to us ! we wish if one your staff could stop them instead of we telling them .
Would higly recommend their ragi biscuits and chaska cake! Way toooooo yummy. To all the junkie lovers , this may sound way too healthy but trust me it is tooooo yum. U cant stop with one.
Also try their chaska bun with single omelette and cheese if your alrighty with eggs!
People over there are extremely friendly as well! 😀
So yes! Overall I would call it a perfect combination.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.
Best chai anyone can ever have.
Made with all fresh ingredients.
Awesome host.
Super friendly staff.
Perfect location.
My day never passes by without ginger tea.
Highly recommended.
What a place, what vibe, what service and what amazing teas! I’ve been here what feels like a gazillion times.
Love their stuff most loved are their teas! How could no one else think to make the humble lemon tea look (and taste) so good?
Innovative quick eats to go with the long list of teas are just the right blend of offerings for a place like Chaska bun. Always bustling with crowd and the ever friendly owner Giri.
Must try their chicken dhamaka and Kheema Karizma! I can go on writing or you can head out give them a try? :)
Will upload more photos to this place soon!
Bun items are definitely good satisfying stuff but way too expensive for a bun and filling. Strangely the max prize on the menu shown here shows 90 but while ordering from Swiggy the cost is Rs. 175 and such. Ordered tea as well to accompany the bun chaska but 120 bucks for two cups of tea is stupid. I rather order the same from chai point. Why the hell are Swiggy prices so jacked up.

Good place to have country items.
They have lot of options to try from.
Need some seating arrangements. Good part is they are in the main road with huge visibility.

Love the name and just fir the chuska we went and enjoyed the muska bun

All energetic smiling friendly bunch
Must go back to try out so many other things on theur menu
Awesome tea place. Ginger tea is must try, pricing is average. Not lot of space to sit or park your vehicle. Place to visit for tea lovers...
Awesome elaichi tea and ginger tea as the name goes their buns are really amazing. Good variety and innovative seating. All the best team !!
After a long day getting errands done before Christmas, while walking through Koramangala, I passed Chaska Bun and decided to grab a snack for fear I may pass out on the street from not having eaten since noon. I stepped in and ordered the Chaska bun maska, because I wanted to see what the fuss was about a bun slathered with butter. I also didn't have time on my hand otherwise might have opted for some tea and maybe eggs too.
Anyway, my order arrived promptly which was a whole wheat bun, with some maida or bleached flour, with a generous slathering of butter. Quite large in size, I was pleasantly surprised and amused by how something so simple could warm my appetite and my heart smile. Indeed, it is the simple culinary pleasures of life like buttered bread, humble idlis, the sardonic samosa, or delightful sweet lime juice that make us all reminisce about our lives gone by.
The entrepreneur and mastermind behind Chaska bun happened to be around to talk about the whole wheat buns, which I learnt are the first of its kind to be made and baked, as most buns are commercially made from maida. Chaska bun has them freshly made from wheat flour ,at a local bakery, which makes them a healthy option to choose from, and everything that is available is never preserved, always fresh. Which is why if ever you find that something isn't available, chances are it got over and a fresh batch will be available the next day. It's a good commitment to quality because we all know how stale bread tastes after a couple of days.
I, for one, am a fan and would love to come here for breakfast to have some buns, maska, eggs and chai. The whole wheat buns are definitely a healthy options, although one might ask how healthy a meal it truly becomes once you slather a generous layer of butter into it. Then again, everything tastes better with butter!
Meal for one was INR 45. Service was quick, seating space is available on stools on the pavement, and quality is guaranteed. The only change I'd recommend is to do away with paper plates and opt for something more sustainable like steel. Try to be environmentally friendly and not contribute to Bangalore garbage travails.
Fantastic Bun, Fantastic Tea, Fantastic Service!
Loved the concept of healthy wheat bun plus and it is very reasonable as well. It has been my regular place to go now...
This is a small joint at a section you cannot miss at Koramangala.
The chai comes in small, medium and large cups. The Bun Maska though not similar to what you get in the Irani Joints in Mumbai is close. Seems like a healthier version.
A medium cinnamon flavoured tea and bun maska sets you back by ₹80/- which is ok for the novelty but cannot be said for a regular visit.
Enjoy!
Great place for the people craving for authentic and quality bun maska. My personal favorite is the bun butter jam, their egg variants are also great! They serve whole wheat which makes this place a repeat order destination. I am amazed by the quality of their buns, always so fresh.
Tip to customers: for customisable orders always try the mildly spicy first instead of going for the full spicy option because the mildly spicy for me was spicy enough.
Never order from #swiggy as the charges are just double of what their menu suggests in the shop. Example: bun maska which is priced at 50 in the shop sells for 110 at swiggy!!!
It is one of my favorite places to chill out have a cup of chai...the ragi biscuits are yummy...must try. Once I visit this place I feel so energetic.
If you love Chai, then this is the place for you!
I had a bad headache when I went to this place and their ginger tea acted as the crosin for me. It was soothing and relaxing. My order was
+carrot cake
+Ginger tea
+Ginger lemon honey tea
The person who took my order had such a vibrant personality that it just made my day.
Pocket friendly place.
Must try!
Happy eating :D
Loved the vibe. I was amazed to see that the man who owns the place is super entusiastic with a very different way of dealing with customers.
Today i had an elaichi tea and spicy double omlette bun and both were totally worth every single penny or even more than that..
Kudos to the place
Amazing place to hangout with friends..best tea and bun 😻..every single thing on the menu is just buntastic 😻😻 best time to visit is after dinner 😻😍😍
Tried their bun cheese omelette with ginger tea. Ginger tea was perfect. The bun omelette was good too.
I recommend the place for a quick bite.
Amazingly soft buns filled with delicious egg delicacy with flavourful sauces to complement the taste! One of the best bun-sandwich / burger or whatever you can have for your breakfast or as a snack.. egg dry roast sandwich is the one I'd recommend!!
BTW, they have veg too.. there's a paneer-based sandwich that's best in veg category.
Yummy buns with different fillings are available. You have a lot of options both vegetarian and egg as well. You also get wide range of tea and the popular one’s are ginger tea. You get ragi biscuits which is good. Staffs are friendly. You have limited seating options outside the stall. You also get parcel. However what I felt was the cost of the buns are little expensive.
Tea and buns are tasty. Only problem is if you go a little late you won’t find milk tea. Only ginger or lemon tea options are available around closing time.
A very nice place to grab quick bite of snack and some chai. Really like the quality of the buns. The chai is tasty but pricing is a bit costlier to the quantity offered.
The service is quick.
Below some of my favourite picks:

• Ginger Chai 🫖
• Chuska Bun with Double Egg Dry Roast 🍔
• Wheat, Carrot and Date Cake

A roadside chai cafe ready to satisfy your need of a good chai all the time.
Tea is good but the snacks you can get along are even better.
There is not much seating available, just enough for a few.
Reasonably priced and hearty.
Must try : any and all teas, Nannari magic, bun omelette
Nice little spot for a quick bite of bun maska and tea. They have outdoor seating and lots of snack items to munch on.
I felt the place to be slightly overrated. The ginger tea and buns are good to have, masala tea is not good. Overall costly place, not worth the hype. Less seats, which are mostly occupied all the times.
Had been trying to go to 'Chaska Bun' for a very long time now, on recommendation from a friend who just loves it and would leave nothing to chance to just have a meal there. A good place in koramangala to grab a quick bite and a tea. They offer different varieties of bun and tea. I tried the panneer variant and it tasted good. The tea is also really good. Overall I found the food to be tasty but it's a but on the expensive side.
Will recommend their double egg chaska.
Buns are fresh, soft. Tried Chicken Bun and Egg burjee bun - tastes excellent. Parking available in the lane. Tea is average - not to my liking. But, most of th having tea here.
Good options for varieties in tea. Though it's very small outlet, ambience is great and located in feasible place. Haven't tried much in eateries but liked their burgers🍔
Indian burgers made in large pav buns... This is just how I will describe... very tasty
One of the best place to grab a quick evening snack!
Tried their Samosa and bhurji buns and totally loved it. The filling inside of mayonnaise, ketchup and other sauces gives it an immense flavour plus the buns are soft and a bit sweet rather salty which balances the flavours!
A good snack option in the middle of pubs and restaurants. You can have breakfast of tea and bun or lunch of bun filled with chicken/veg fillings, both are mouthful.
Seating arrangements are creatively made with bare minimum requirements.
Welcoming owner who runs this as a bucket list passion rather than to make money out of it. They make every item fresh for you except wheat bun. I love chai shot rather than normal chai.
