Had aloo paratha, Pav bhaji and several other items there it’s not too expensive although it’s pretty crowded I guess the wait is worth cause the food is pretty good they have a very small eating area but then again food is worth it.
I always think of Calcutta Victoria Chaat house whenever I think of chaat.
It is a small place with limited seating. I love their pav bhaji and aalu tikki chaat. Their samosa chat is pretty decent too. They also serve really nice dahi puri and papdi chaat.
Their parathas are definitely worth trying. They also make phulkas on coal which I find very fascinating :D .
I have also tried their chole bhature. The bhature are slightly on the oilier side. The vada pav is quite average though.
The good thing about their chaat is that it is not too spicy, but tastes genuine compared to the other fake chaat we usually tend to find around Bangalore. It is my go to place.

Used to visit it regularly for their chat items and gradually they added some amazing meal options like also paratha and now litti chokha too. Though it's a very small outlet but you can find good variety. The taste is not fully north Indian style rather inspired by the east India side..you can say Bengali style.
This is THE place where you can find the authentic wood/coal fire baked litti chokha.When you go to the shop you get a feel of the Bihar roadside stall.The panipuri is also good.Best is the kulhad wali chai .
I had been to this place one night atound 9.30. Most of the popular restaurants were closed and these guys were still there making hot rotis.. we were really hungry so just went and ordered for vada pav and aloo parathas followed by matka chai.. Amazingggggg!!! the taste was yummyyyy... especially the parathas.. !!! they made it fresh and super hot.. awesomefood during a cold night in dec winter!!!
The food here has always amused me! One of the best places to have hot jalebis.. with a wide variety of chats-dahi Puri is my all time favorite. Second choice would definitely be their cutlets!
When it comes to rolls, paneer roll is amazing and it's value for money! The paranthas are lip smacking!
This ones again near my college. Nothing so special about the place. It's quite small with limited seating capacity and Most of the people stand outside and have the chats. They make nice chats at affordable prices. Make personal favourite is Pav bhaji and pani poori. This place does get crowded in the evenings which ultimately proves what they serve.

I always pass this little joint on the way to my mom's place. The crowd here always spills onto the street and I always wondered what was it about this place that pulls this kind of crowd. Especially with a big name like "Kanti" nearby!
So one of those days, I landed up parking next door to this place to visit the nearby Pharmacy. I must say the smells ( good kind!) from this place literally drew me in. I personally do not have any liking for samosas but their samosas looked quite good.
Anyways I landed just having a pani puri since it was just me and to my surprise it was very very good. I am writing this review almost a week after visiting this place hence can also vouch for the cleanliness of the food as I am one of those people with a sensitive tummy. The place is small with a few tables set up for standing and eating.
I have seen many people have parathas and I definitely look forward to trying their Aloo paratha in the near future.
One of the best things about this eatery is that it served the 'veg chaap' (chop) which is so common in Bengal (especially Calcutta). And they make it reasonably well too, somewhat close to the real stuff you get in Calcutta.
If you are in Kasturi Nagar, Sadanand Nagar or Banaswadi, this is a good option for chaat, vegetable chops, cutlets, samosas and gol gappey. The portions are good. Considering everything, the prices are reasonable too.
They have seating room for about 10 people (but then, isn't chaat best enjoyed standing in a circle with friends or family?) :)
My favourites here are the veg chop, samosa, dahi papdi and bhel puri. I love their dhaniya/pudina chutney too.
They serve parathas (aloo, gobhi, panner) for breakfast and lunch. I think they have added rolls too to the menu. These are decent, but not great.
Overall, a good place to go. Offers you much better value for money than a place like Kanti Sweets, which is nearby.

A decent eating joint, serving some lip smacking chaats & snacks. Located in Kasturinagar, the place can never go unnoticed as it is always surrounded by people. I visit this place often for my evening snacks & sometimes for dinner.
The food served is good with menu consisting of only North Indian items. I love their Samosas, Veg-Cutlet & Methi Paratha. The Samosa & Veg-Cutlet are full of filling & are decent sized, one should be enough to fulfil your craving. The parathas here are also a delight as they are fresh & hot, full of filling. The Chole Bhature is average, I feel the gravy of Chole could be a little more thick. Not to forget the amazing tea they serve, "Kullad Chai", it can be called a real "Malai Wali Chai", a must try.
The place is not very big, having a seating capacity of around 5-8 people. They have tables outside where you can stand & eat. Everything is prepared in front of you, so one knows the food served is fresh. The service is okay, but it can get a little frustrating during peak hours like evening time. The place is a real value for money compared to the taste & quantity of food served.
Overall a good snack joint in Kasturinagar & one can give it a try to fulfil their urge for some Chats & other North Indian snacks.

Their rolls are the best even when you get it through online orders, full paisa vasool. However the chaats need improvement as a pav bhaaji turned out to be extremely spicy and we literally wept while eating it. Might want to improve their overall quality.

I took a chola batura and a ginger tea!
Ginger tea was served in this matka cup which gives that nice authenticity to the tea experience..
Coming to the chana batura..the flavors were there in the chana but not in texture..it was like a thin watery masala gravy with chana..
The taste was good and the batura was piping hot and fluffy...
To give on a wider perspective I ll need to order more food which I could not as I was alone!!;) until next time...

Quite authentic north Indian styled street food. If you dont care much about the ambience, then you should give this place a try. We tried quite a lot of stuff off the menu in two visits within a span of 12 hours. Yes, it was that good. We visited the place for dinner on a Saturday night and went back for a late brunch the next day
* Saturday evening scene - the place was crazy crowded. We were at the place for a good hour and a half. To start with, the pani puri were excellent, probably the best I have had in Bengaluru. The puris very big and the spices in both the filling as the pani were perfect. We also tried sev puri - the papdis very nice and crisp, dahi puri - again quite good, then you can request him to go easy on the amount of dahi if you like it so, we did, aloo tikki chat - the chhole gravy was good ,subtle garam masala flavour, I prefer chhole over the peas gravy,
veg cutlet chat - that was my husband's choice and he remarked that the cutlet was quite goodpavbhaji - good, the pav was very soft and fresh, the bhaji was decent, not the highlight of the meal though
*Sunday brunch scene - not very crowded, but then a lot of food was being prepared so the service wasn't very quick today either.
Bread pakora - good, nicely spiced filling and not at all the soaked in oil feeling.
Aloo Parathas - again my husband's choice, I found it a bit under salted, however the potato curry was excellent.
Kaati Roll - we ordered a veggie roll, and it was more than decent. the vegetables were cooked yet crispy and for once, it was not too spicy.
We spent around 230 rupees on each visit for two people and frankly we ate a bit too much. So, I would say it is easy on pocket and yet doesn't compromise on authentic flavours.
Pav bhajji and the pani puri are the must try dishes.. I miss good chats in Bangalore coz in mysore v get awesome chats :-) but this place I found it to be pretty good :-) my friends tried the paneer roll, they loved it the first time but this time they felt the taste had changed and wasn't as good the the last time..
While returning from office, took a detour to kasturi nagar for chats. It's a small corner shop with no place to sit.
Took pav bhaji and extra pav. Tea is served in small pots and OK. Will have to try out aloo parathas which it is famous for.

Nice. Went there for evening time snack along with my friend. It is a nice place if you want to enjoy hygienic street side food. We had Jalebi,raj kachori chaat and veg roll. Jalebi was a bit thick but the taste was nice and the roll and chaat were also good. I would go and try out other snacks and would also recommend others to go and try out the snacks there..

The food is good but not great. Well ask any Calcuttan to compare it with any famous chat house in kolkata, it is in par with them if not better.

If you love chaat, you must visit this place asap. Every chaat dish on their menu tastes extravagant. Their samosa chaat, the veg cutlet are must try's. I personally recommend the pav bhajji and the aloo Parata. The pav bhajji is beautifully made and is served with chopped onions and lime and the aloo Parata is finger licking good. It's served with thick curd topped with chaat masala and average tasting aloo curry! But for the price, it is completely worth it :). The ambience is a bit chaotic, but what can you expect out of such a chaat house? It's always packed and those cooks confidently face any number of people. Their portions of serving is appreciable :)
I've visited this outlet several times and I've never returned disappointed :)

This place used to be located at Kalyan Nagar till they shifted to the current premises. I go here especially when I want to get a genuine taste of singharas as they are called in Bengal with no extra vegetable filling apart from "aloo".
Their kachauris, vegetable cutlets and Aloo Parathas are so tasty and affordable that Victoria has become our go-to place when we have guests at short notice. Still to get a bad review from any of the guests on the food.

The ultimate heaven for any chaat lover!! The kachoris and tikkis are to die for. Went with friends to this chaat house a few months back during the monsoons..trust me, its the best place to hang out with your closest buddies..no starbucks' and KFCs and McDs of this world can compete with the authentic desi flavors of CVCH's menu!!! I personally loveddd the paani puri..definitely d best i've ever come across so far!! d same is with Pav bhaaji...the best was obviously reserved for d end i.e. the hot and yummy Jalebis!! We ended up spending over an hour treating our taste buds, that too at a reasonable price :-) this place is a must visit for anyone craving yumm chaats and parathas..!!

Pretty decent place primarily serving chats / rolls . Taste is authentic - would highly recommend the Samosas / Jalebis . Ambience is like any other street food place - basic but perfect for a quick bite. Value for money !

This place is in Bennigana Halli. My friends loves their planning Pani Puri.. it's famous for the chat items. I like Roti Sabji which is fifty rupees you'll get four chapati one potato curry and dal I felt full after eating masala tea is served in clay pot which is biodegradable that's great tea tastes good

One of the best place to have evening snacks. I have been here with friends and family. Food is tasty and authentic. One should definitely have the matki tea which is special here. The hot jelibi and pav bhaji is good. Tasty and hygienic too. Don't get car here preference is two wheeler. Seats are very less. Better stand and have. Parcel option available too. Take your family out to this place and they would love it . But costly compared to other shops in this locality.
Always crowded place. Iniside there is seating. All kinds of chats are available here, Very tasty. Mineral water bottle is also available. I had aloo parata, dahi puri and paav bhaji. Taste was on point. Lassi was super. It had flakes of nuts and rose flavoured, served inside kullad(earthen cups). Price is affordable to the quality served.
Only one negative point here is when there is crowd they don't take the orders placed on timing. For them Zomato and Swiggy orders are priority. This makes people wait for around 20mins. Sometimes the person forgets to prepare your order if you don't stand infront because of too many people. Owner must assign priority to tickets of orders placed so that people who placed in the beginning shouldn't wait for long.
The shop is very old, they have all the chat items. The taste is good, service could be better as everyone has this attitude that they know ppl will come there by default and have taken customers for granted. There are no parking facilities as the entire road is over crowded by smokers and chai lovers. Their chole batura and pav bhaji are very good but the cutlet is below average. Pani Puri is ok just as any other outlet. Overall a good place with room to improve their service and seating space.
Their Parathas, Davi Puri, Masala Chai is our favourite. Must try this place.

Chat is very tasty here they have two categories in chat one is with chole and the other is with dahi one must try both. Staff is friendly and service is good. They serve you fast. The sitting area is shabby so prefer take away rather then dining here.
