I am not from Bangalore so when I visited here and thought to have a North Indian meal after many days
So I was in search of good restaurant with tasty food, I went to Zaatar and ordered
Butter Paneer Masala and Aloo Paratha, to my surprise it was very very delicious and I loved the meal.
It is bit costly but for North Indian food lover like me in Bangalore this place is amazing.
I have been to this place several times now with my last visit being in the 1st week Feb this year. With an beautiful and cozy ambance this place has a lot to offer especially in BBQ and kebabs.
I have tried BBQ chicken, Afghani BBQ, Badami BBQ, Tandoori chicken, Akbari kebab, chicken lollipop, chicken Punjabi, chicken kolhapur, chicken briyani, spl. Chicken shawarma and royal falooda.
BBQ chicken was nice and juicy and fork tender... Meat was literally falling of the bones. so was the case with Afghani BBQ and Badami BBQ. All the BBQs are served with pita bread, mayo and hummus which nicely compliment the BBQ and make them a complete meal.
Tandoori chicken was nice spicy and full of flavours served with some onions and mint chutney which took tandoori to a whole new level.
Akbari kebab was something that excited me the most. It looks like an ordinary chicken sheek kebabs until you dig into it. They are stuffed (probably some kind of minced meat). Serve a generous portion along with dips that goes really good with the kebabs.
Chicken kolhapur and chicken Punjabi are the only gravies that I have tried here. They were decent in taste with kolhapuri obviously being on the spicy side. The chicken in the gravies where full of flavours completely soaked up in the gravies. The chicken were as usual fork tender and had melt in mouth texture. Garlic naan and tandoori roti went really good with the gravies.
Briyani was decent with chicken nicely cooked.
Royal falooda was presented well with a generous portion being served. Tase was good as well overall falooda was little above avg.
Spl. Shawarma was juicy and delicious. It didn't feel like we are having a dry chicken wrap unlike other places. They add generous amount of mayo and chicken into it and at no point you will feel like you are having a dry chicken wrap.
Overall a nice place with a friendly staff and cozy & comfy ambiance. Though the waiting time here is littile longer it's still worth the time and money. A must visit place with your friends and family.
P.s. this is one of the most under rated restaurant when it comes to BBQ and Kebabs.
It's very difficult for a restaurant to manage arabian, Chinese, indian and Kerala food and maintain quality. This one does. It's our go-to for barbeques, hummus and North Indian.
Zaatar is my favourite place when it comes to barbeque food...they serve the best Hyderabadi biriyani also..superb ambience with outstanding service.perfect for family.
This place has never disappointed me with any dish I had. Any chicken starter or main course I tried here has been lip smackingly good!
This is the best resturant for arabian food thx mr dhiren as a manager he is very courteous n good knowledge about food...
Taste was soo good. Decent quantity for all the items we had ordered. Excellent ambience & service...
Good food, ambience and service.
Tried Al-Faham & Lamb Sheek for starters. Al-Faham was a little dry but the lamb sheek was juicy and full of flavours. Main course was Mutton Rara gravy with Butter Garlic Kulcha and Burnt Garlic Fried Rice. Main Course was good.
Great place for good food with loved people.very tasty...
Ordered from this place after hearing a lot of recommendation..the order was delivered right within time and everything was just too good..Chicken was juicy, spicy and yummy and so was the tandoori corn masala..nicely done, filling and just perfect..
Price wise they are little on a upper side but it's completely worth it with the quality of food you get..Go for it guys!
Ordered food from past few days. Taste expectation are met highly. Best north food one can have.
The Zaatar Special BBQ is like OMG awesome. Don't miss it! The only problem I faced was that I was so addicted to it that I could only order the same item on repeat like a zillion times. It was so fantastic, I could not move on and try the other items. The pictures are different avatars of the same dish and it is delicious however different it looks - juicy and drooly worthy. The mayonnaise is awesome as well.
Zaatar has a lot of multi cuisines including Indian, Chinese and Arabic delicacies. However, the restaurant is well known for its Arabic cuisines. This restaurant located in the Old Madras road under the Tin Factory bridge is a must visit place if you love Arabic dishes. The prices are moderately expensive but it's totally worth the taste. Must try - Shawarma, Grilled Chicken, Chicken Al-Faham, Afghani Chicken, Grilled Fish, Fish Al-Faham, Malabar Chicken Biriyani, Kozi Laham (Arabic Mutton Biriyani). You would really get confused with what to order as there are a wide variety of options in the menu. From zaatar, you can have a perfect meal consisting of good starters, main course and mouth watering desserts as well. Ample parking space available. Even if you don't get a table, you would surely get parking space for a take away 😛 Weekdays are not very crowded over here but during weekends, the tables are always occupied. They also have a lot of seating capacity outdoors where the GST is comparatively less 😋 You can also let your children play in the kids play area if they have finished their meal earlier.
If you are looking for hygienic place and tastiest food then try zaatar it’s one of the best I have ever had!! Chicken tikka is my favourite over here!
This multi cuisine restaurant is a must visit in Bangalore. The Mexican chicken shawarma is one of the best in city. Would highly recommend.
Yesterday I have ordered Tandoori Chicken through Zomato. Chicken pieces were very soft and tasty. The marinated masala to chicken was too good and felt mouth watering and delicious. Thanks for the Zaatar's chef for preparing properly!!!! Looking forward to visit the restaurant soon.. 🙏
We went there for Sunday brunch. Food was simple but filling. The special barbecue and pepper chicken were well prepared. Extra marks for lime mint soda. Its a sweet indulgence, but handy in cutting through the richness of food. Glad that garlic paste and hummus are given in lesser quantities unlike other Lebanese serving restaurants - helps avoid wastage.
Clean settings with ample sitting area.
Located conveniently in Tin factory area, it is a big restaurant with indoor as well as outdoor seating capacity. Their shawarma items are quite good. We went there for lunch and had butter chicken for the main course. The prices are okay. However, unlike the usual butter chicken with chunks, they had shredded chicken instead which was a new. The ambience was quite good. Service was not slow, despite the weekend crowd, which for me is a thumbs up. Overall, a pleasant lunch experience.
It's one of the best Arabic restaurant in this area. The ambiance is nice and it has both indoor and outdoor sitting areas.
Ordered several time before visiting this place. Generally I use to order different chicken items. In our visit, we had the following:
1. Ahfam Dajaj: very nice
2. Chicken Punjabi: pretty good
3. Virgin Mojito: very good
The service is also good. Value for money.
Very nice courtesy of the staff attentive service staff good food nice ambiance we have ordered for some soup and appetizers and main as well over all good experience I would like to visit on again and I'm gono recommend on this place to go with family
Service:5

Overall:4:9
One of the best restaurant in Bangalore
Loved the food... Ordered non veg platter. It was awesome
Good place for family.
Nice ambience, friendly staff, great service. A place where you can visit quite often.
Very nice place for Mediterranean Cuisine! Love their Chicken Kabsa ..amazingly flavorful and wonderfully soft rice. Also their Chicken Malai Kebab is worth mention. Absolutely befitting ambience with both indoor and outdoor seating and very retro decor! Definitely worth the price and service which does not disappoint.. am going there again for sure !
One day suddenly went to Zaatar. Didn't even know this place existed near KR Puram. First day experience was horrible for me but it changed. It was a firday my first visit, place was full of people some how got a table. We ordered and waited way too long to get it delivered but when it finally it was a wrong order. Then finally finished that day and left the place with a thought of not coming back again. After few days was hungry and the nearest place was Zaatar though let's give it another try. That I got a really good experience the place and food did satisfied me well. Later I went to the place many times once took my full family. Even celebrate small occasions with my wife. Now it's a go to place for me. Must try out this place.
I loved the zaatter and it's ample parking area that's seems like blooming faunaa.food were very good especially the chaf Rana's chicken lahori and special mutton biryani and carraot halwa for desert.mr.dhiren was the owesame host as floor manager with good hospitality.thank u team zataar.will visit next Sunday again.
We had been here for Team Lunch. The food was good and served fast. Had Good Time with team mates. Planning for next team lunch soon. Thanks!
Very nice place, i like going here every time i want have tasty north indian food around pai layout.......the price is on the higher side, but is worth all the penny
Located very close to tin factory on Old Madras road, this is one of my favourites when it comes to Arabian grills and shawarmas! Decently priced menu. Good ambience!
Ordered chicken shawarma and special chicken shawarma. Delivery was very fast. Pretty decent shawarma. Can give a try. Although can be worked upon flavors a bit. Found it somewhat to be bland
This place serves the yummiest north Indian food at such a reasonable price with the best quantity. They have a very convenient parking spot so no hassle about that. The tandoor kababs are mouth watering and is a must try! They do take time to get your order but the food is definitely worth the wait!
Food was Great. Preparation time was quick and the people were really kind and polite as well.
We had ordered 2 starters(Dijaj FAA chicken and Lemon Chicken) , Zaatar Spl Biryani and Falooda. All items were Good.
He came exactly near my place.Very good service.
Amazing place for family get together....chilled out place....u should definitely try all the Malabar stuffs..it is quite yumm....keralites will love D's place...
We always order the alfaham dajaj chicken and honestly it is the best. Their hummus and pita with mildly flavored chicken is heavenly. Apart from that we had also ordered paneer and chicken dishes were ok. But their alfaham dajaj is amazingly good....
This place is a very peaceful place to have an intriguing conversation as well as enjoy the food. We tried our hand at north Indian vegeterian dishes and everything was so tasty. The hotel staff was also very polite and courteous while taking orders and serving. Will probably upgrade my star once I taste the non vegeterian dishes.
We went to this place for a treat. The ambience of this place is pretty nice. They also allow us to cake inside this place, which was great, because we were a little sceptical if they would allow us or not. Also, the staff was very well behaved and service was pretty fast. Now , coming to the food, so we were a group of 8 people , so we decided to order the platters. So, we order the following:
1) Mutton raan biryani (4/5): A huge platter full of biryani, with lots of mutton. The biryani was pretty good, the rice was filled with spiced and the mutton was soft and succulent.
2) Zaatar special non veg platter:(4/5) This was also great, the platter consisted of everything, fish, chicken, mutton, all the kebabs were very tasty and filling.
3) Zaatar special tandoori platter(4/5) This platter was also great, and delicious
At the end of it,we were all very full,I would advise to take only one starter platter. The food was pretty good and tasty. Loved the food, staff and ambience.
I have heard about this place from quite a few people and thought of trying it out. I ordered an Alfaham Dajaj (half) and a Mutton Biryani via Swiggy.
I must say initially I thought the portion of Biryani was less for two people but combined with Alfaham Dajaj, it was appropriate for us(two). We got pita bread with Alfaham Dajaj with two mayo dips but no humus. So, we have to keep in mind to order humus separately next time.
Overall, it was a good meal.
It's just a wow place for all the food lovers. A large space with so much capacity. They provide very quality, yummy and tasty food. Best of best would be platters, only if you have 4 or more people. Breads are also soft. Curries are mouthwatering. Ambience is also great and service was also perfect.
This place happens to be our neighbourhood eatery. We can just walk and go & grab food here. We had completely blacklisted this place 1 year back, due to a very bad food experience (Stale chicken and then food contamination the next day!!) post which we decided that we will never ever go here. However, after 1 year one fine evening we decided, let’s see how is it going now and this the food review
Food- We ordered the starters, fish fingers(Crispy basa fish fingers), special shawarma(The portion size is too small, for a special tag line!,taste wise , just ok, I have had better shawarmas.
Mutton biryani, Hyderabadi style( The Mutton was perfectly cooked and the biryani tasted yummy), Chicken BBQ( This came with a side pita bread and mayonnaise, the chicken was cooked perfectly and went well with the pita), Hummus ( just allright, they can add pietof olives etc), Avocado milk shake ( This was just divine, the 4 star is for this! It’s very smooth and very generously avocado has been used, the sweetness is perfect! This is very filling), Carrot halwa with vanilla ice cream ( Well made)
Customer service- This can improve. Though few items are quick, we had remind them 2 times to get the almond milkshake, we wanted to eat this as a starter, but by the time they got this, it became like a dessert
Ambience- Muted lights, wooden walls and glass. Minimalistic
Value for money- Decent
Really good tandoor!
Many places claim to make tandoori food but very few concentrate on the marination, flavoring all over and choosing good meat before preparing and this place ticked all boxes along with hummus, chutney and Mayo to make it lipsmacking.
We ordered pepper barbeque chicken and chicken tikka and I loved the tikka so much it was soft which just melted in the mouth, the masala was very well marinated and very tasty. The pepper barbeque chicken was something different and also had great flavor and I used the hummus, chutney and Mayo to dip while eating this starter so overall loved the food from here.
The food is very tasty and fresh, been there couple of times thoroughly enjoyed the food. Even my friends who came with me also had the same opinion keep it up👍
Everything was just awesome i would like to chicken afgani😍 nice #staff behaviour quiet good.
Some internal facilities are not that much good like ventilation.
Went there on a busy day and I had to wait for a significant amount of time before getting a table. However the portion, variety and cost of dishes will wipe away all the negativity from your heart! 😛 Ideal place for a big fat family dinner. Service is quick and staffs are really nice.
P.S names of the dishes are really hard!!
Have ordered Tandoori Chicken through Zomato App in last minute. This is the first time , I tried some thing at this restaurant found it to be absolutely great idea. Will keep ordering...
We went for a team dinner for this restaurant and the food was just amazing and the ambiance was just perfect. Easy to access just a few steps away from 'Dominos' Pai Layout, and walkable distance from/to TinFactory bus stop. Paneer Ahalya and Green Pepper BBQ are very delicious.
Had a team dinner here yesterday, and the Arabian food was outstanding! Every dish was bursting with authentic flavors. The quality of the food was amazing from juiciest chicken, the most tender mutton, and the biggest prawns we have ever seen in Bangalore. Everything was upto mark both food and the experience. Special shoutout to Anil, the manager, for his exceptional hospitality. Can't wait to come back! Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
It is a great family dining restaurant. We had been for our team lunch over here. The organization was done well. We had been given a separate seating. We had a variety of veg and non veg food, which was quite good. The crab lollipop is one of them to be mentioned to be great. The ambiance is warm and comfy. The hospitality of the staff is also good.
Overall, it is a lovely place to visit with your team, friends, and family.
The food was tasty. We actually ordered more. Ask about the quantity of the portion before you order. Large dining area and lot of waiting space. There is ample parking space in front of the hotel.
Good affordable restaurant to visit with family and friends. Food was good. Can't comment on more items as we just tried only veg options. Baby corn chilli starter was yum, Tandoor aloo tikki was okay. Their naans were soft and kadhai paneer was delicious. Yet to visit again and try non-ved delicacies too. Overall a good place with good ambience, economical, good food and hospitality.
Food is good. Little crowdy in weekends. Need to wait for sometimes.
Good ambience.
Chicken lollipop was great.
Tasted kozi dajaj, chicken is awesome but the rice is blant.
Tried biriyani, it was andhra style. It was descent. Found one hair in the biriyani and informed the server. Immediately they replaced it. Still it's a big mistake hope they correct this mistake in thr future
Orange sunset mocktail, it tastes good.
All are good except price, little High. Not affordable for all set of peoples
@zaatar_bengaluru A Wonderful place to hangout and EAT with friends and family. The wide range of indo-arabian menus they offer is lucrative for non-vegetarians. The food is really good and ambience is nice. You can also find their unlimited bbq and grill options interesting if you are a chicken lover & a sea food lover
Food: 5/5 | Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5
Recommended dishes
BBQ seafood platter , Chicken Biryani, Grape Juice , grilled fish

Plenty of parking
A lot of parking space just in front of the hotel!
Do checkout their page @zaatar_bengaluru or visit the nearest outlet 🤤
Must recommend place @zaatar_bengaluru
Good food, certainly great service. The atmosphere is plain but comfy.
Food: Soups were great, starter - Platter was quite a spread but confusing with many items. The main course was ok, and the dessert (kunafa) was exquisite. Quite good amount of drinks - mocktails, milkshakes, sodas, lassis.
Parking: available for 4 to 6 cars.
Service: People are quick to serve and flexible with your requests.
Price: decent, a bit too high for the atmosphere.
The only improvement I would suggest is the ambiance. Otherwise, it is a decent place to take your family or go with office colleagues.
I have been traveling around this area four days a week two times a day at a minimum and only on 2nd Aug we planned to go to this restaurant. Best part was that it was their 7th anniversary. Looks like we were lucky as there was buffet in the night for just 799/-. I have been to BBN many a times but the variety that is being served here was amazing. Just look at the video and you will get to know the number of dishes that were made. Dogged into just the starters and directly into desserts. Amazing variety of dishes that were very tasty!!! Not sure if you will get buffet every night or with so much variety. Great food and good atmosphere.
**Zaatar Review: A Fusion Haven for North Indian & Arabian Cuisine Seekers**
Nestled in Bangalore's culinary scene, Zaatar boasts a tantalizing fusion of North Indian and Arabian cuisines. The menu is a gastronomic delight, living up to its well-hyped reputation with flavorful dishes that cater to diverse palates.
The highlight undoubtedly lies in the delectable spread of both North Indian and Arabian specialties, offering a delightful array of kebabs, biryanis, falafels, and shawarmas. Each dish tantalizes the taste buds with a harmonious blend of spices and flavors, a true treat for the connoisseurs of these culinary traditions.
However, while the food captivates, the service occasionally falls short of expectations. The staff's attentiveness and promptness could use some improvement to match the excellence of the cuisine.
To savor this delectable fare without a hassle, pre-booking reservations is highly recommended. This helps avoid long waits, ensuring a seamless dining experience for eager patrons.
Overall, Zaatar stands as a haven for those seeking a harmonious fusion of North Indian and Arabian cuisine, delivering on its promise of delicious flavors, albeit with room for enhancement in service.

{Zaatar Bengaluru} is a very good restaurant to visit with family and friends, they have wide seating area and the ambiance was elegant
They have bbq and grills
I personally liked chicken biryani it is a must try
Do visit {ZAATAR BENGALURU} or the nearest outlet
Highly recommended
Food is tasty. Many food options are available. They have a high chair and based on requirements they will prepare the food. It took longer to serve the food after placing the order. Enough parking place. They have a small benquet hall to accommodate around 40 people. We had a kid birthday party over there. But they are a little careless so we need to check each and every thing. They have changed our food menu at the party. And we can't do anything at that time. Only one person staff they will give for benquet.
A very good place right on the highway if you are looking for non-vegetarian Arabic food. A lot of grilled, barbecued and tandoori options. Good mocktails too!
Best for food. If you love mandi briyani then this is a perfect place for you.
We had been there for naming ceremony function. Had chosen self service, so I cannot comment or rate their service. Food was good. Ambience was good too. We tasted veg food as a part of function. Mushroom Manchurian was everyone's favourite. It was very delicious. Party hall is good enough for small function. Neat and has adequate lighting.
The best barbeque platter I have had. Also their biryanis are flavourful with soft meat. Highly recommended the barbeque fish. Don't forget to finish off with the absolute bomb of sizzling browinie.
