During durga puja after Pushpanjali i went to try this authentic bengali restaurant for my dinner.
It has three branches in Bangalore,i went to j.p nagar one to try theirs authentic bengali thali during durga pujo..
The ambience was pretty good n simple with famous Rabindra nath Tagore's music🥰😍which was soothing.
Then comes my bengali thali full of mouthwatering dishes in it😍with all the famous delicacy of Bengal.
It was worth the price and was enough for two people.
If u wanna try pure authentic bengali food then give it a try to this excellent place for food and their services.

The first time I visited Bhojohori Manna JP Nagar branch was with a bunch of friends for lunch on the day of Pohela Boishakh aka Bengali New Year. We immediately found out that they serve special thalis on that day however they do not serve ala carta items on this particular day.
They house quite a wide spread of bengali dishes. The non veg thali which is indeed delicious,
Also, being a Bengali women I really enjoy the autentic bengali food and its flavours, being almost 2000kms away from home this place definitely builds up the charm and the aura of feeling at home.
I have visited this place alot many times ,although the ambience is not at par but its just too homely which in its kind i feel is great, the staff is really courteous but the long wait time is quite annoying.
From starters to main course, everything is just lip smacking. I kickstarted my meal with ampora shorbot.
The starters arrived and it looked like the thing every unrealised bengali heart craves for 'the FISH FRY'. It had a nice taste and to add i really loved the Maccher Chop(Fish chop) and Pomfret Masala.
Some of the dishes that makes me wanna go back everytime is the kosha mangsho with bangali pulao( Bashonti pulao), daab chingri,prawn malai curry,bhetki paturi and super jumbo elish.
The quality of mutton that they use is really good and its soft to the right amount, the prawns in the daab chingri and prawn malai curry are tiger prawns and golda chingri, it is not amusingly very tasty and the curry has the propotionate amount of spices with a lil bit of sweetness and it tastes heavenly.
They use the fresh water elish(hilsa) basically the kolkata one which is really tender and tastes good but you need to bear with the bones and the bhetki paturi they serve are marinated in a spiced mustard paste, wrapped in banana leaf individually and then slow cooked till tender, try savouring the Bengali Bhetki Macher Paturi Recipe along with plain steamed rice.
Not to miss but the most important part which marks the end of a feast is the dessert that they serve,i really love the aamer chutney,roshogolla and Nolen gurer icecream.
This place is bit on the expensive side but the richness and quality of the food makes up for it.
I would definitely recommend you to visit this place if you love bengali food which I am sure most of the people are fond off especially the non vegetarians and wants to make yourself feel at home by having the authentic bengali food if you are away from your home.

Bhojohori Manna is my go-to place for Bengali food. After a sudden craving, we ordered Rice along with Echorer Dalna and Jumbo Pabda Shorshe for lunch. Loved the Echorer Dalna, the jackfruit pieces were so succulent.
Wanted to have fish. So ended up here for dinner. A warm welcome when we entered.
Small well organized place. It was not crowded that day.
Ordered Machher Chop, Katla Jhol, Dhonepata Chicken, Steamed Rice. Food was damn good. Machher chop was tasty. It was melting in mouth. And First time we tried Dhonepata Chicken it was really yumm. Both items are Must try!
Finally we ordered notun gurer icecream. Its actually Jaggery icecream. I always wanted to try this. But never got any chance. So finally tried and i loved it. Very different taste and Must try!
Manager is very courteous and friendly. He was coming and explaining about every foods. He is a nice guy.
Price is bit high but it's okay to pay for such tasty food.
We had nice experience there. This place is a must visit if you love or wanna try Bengali cuisine.
Away from Bengal, this place reminds me of our wonderful culture.

The place is not that big but the food is really amazing and mouth watering, specially the illish bhape just loved it. The satisfaction after having the meal over there was just superb.
It's been a month and a half I'm in Bengaluru now and I realized how much I missed fish dishes and other Bengali cuisines. They usually close by 4:30 but only for us they kept their doors open and served our favourites with a big smile. Very friendly service and the manager himself make us feel Iike home. Will be visiting the place very soon!
Still can't forget the experience. One month in Bengaluru and already were desperate for bengali food and the way the staffs welcomed us in is something to be specially appreciated. We entered when they were supposed to close but they kept it open for only us and the staff even the manager came atleast 3 times to check whether the food was good. Now it has become a place we're going for every month. The customer service is again very nice. The food quality was really good and didn't have to wait too long.

I had ordered home delivery for Mom’s Birthday, bulk order of chhanar dalna, mochar ghonto, jhinge aloo posto, pabda shorshe, bhetki paturi, echor chingri, chicken dakbangla, mangsher jhol, polao and chutney, and food was really good, authentic Bengali taste. The staff and manager were very helpful to assist me over the phone as well. Definitely recommend this restaurant for good quality food!
Absolutely stunningly awesome and authentic Bengali cuisine .I ordered koraisutir kochuri aloor Dom and chanar dalna. Chanar dalna is tooooo great because it's absolutely Bengali type I loved it and I will want to order again
I have visited this place with my family for lunch. We have ordered one mini thank and one maxi thali, Aam Pora Sorbet, Mochar Chop, Chingri malaikari and sorse iilish and Nolen gurer ice cream. The food items were really amazing. We loved the shukto, Mochar Chop, aloo dum, pulao and Aam Pora Sorbet. The Iilish was superb. They informed that all their fishes comes from Kolkata, but the quality of chingri and Iilish was much better than the Kolkata one. I will definitely come here again just for the chingri and Iilish. The place is well decorated and suitable for family gathering. Staffs are super courteous. They have there parking place that's a huge relief for Bangalore people. I will definitely give them 5 🌟 for their food, staff , place and parking.

I always have a homely experience at this place.. the service is so good, polite people.. a simple ambiance with delicious food.. finger licking taste and every bite seems to be a bliss for the soul.. we had gone for the Poila Boishakh preset meal and the food was well enough for 2.. Love this restaurant and always make it a point to visit it when I feel like pampering myself with delicious Bengali cusine.. a must visit place for all the Bengalis out there..

I had mini Bengali Thali here along with pabda fish cooked in mustard sauce. The food is amazing.
One of the best places to eat good Bengali food brings back all the memories of good times in Calcutta. The fish fry could have been better it was more of batter rather than fish. Rest all was good.
After a lot of researching for bong food last Sunday, we ended up here. Compared to it's Koramangala branch, I found this branch to be less crowded. Ambience is not that great.
Now coming to the food, we directly jumped on to main course. We ordered jhuri alu bhaja, mochar ghonto, alu fulkopir dalna, doi Katla, daab chingri and mangsher jhol. Apart from daab chingri, everything else was perfect.
I would have given the place a 3 star rating, but a plus one is only for that awesome Mochar ghonto.

Small place with limited seating arrangements. Menu options are limited, but the food is really nice. We ordered fish fry, chingri malai curry, daab chingri, dhonepata chicken. All the dishes were amazing. Only desert disappointed me, we ordered lancha and nolen gurer ice cream, which were ok, not that fabulous.
Bert bengali cuisine. Worth paying a visit. Don't miss on nolen gurer ice cream. Friendly staff specially Mr. Krishna Saha who served us. They make us feel home.

Amazing staff and a must visit place for authentic bengali cuisines. Be it the traditional Shukto or posto bora or dhoka dalna in veg or the mutton dakbunglow accompanied with bashonti pulav; every dish will make you want for more. Do try their dish Dab chingri( lobster in tender coconut curry) a bengali delicacy served in style. Visit and enjoy!
We went for a weekend lunch in this restaurant.ones we visited the ambience and beautiful music in the background filling me we are in my home town. Coming to the food it was delicous....specially the misti dhai, rasgolla and Nolen Gur er Ice-Cream must have.

Brilliant place for authentic Bengali Cuisine in Bangalore . If you are looking for an ambience, this might not be the place for you but for food this is probably the one in Bengaluru . The Ilish , Daab Chingri , Paturi are way better than the ones in Kolkata
One of the few places in city that serve authentic Bengali food. Went with my family for a lunch there and the taste of the food reminded me of my mother’s food. The Kosha mutton is a must try if you eat mutton.Had a lovely experience here and would visit again
Out of the two outlets at Bangalore this one is better compared to Koramangala branch. Food is good and authenticity of Bengali cuisine is preserved to some extent. Can not say that taste is great. Good place to go for a weekend lunch.

Our go to place always when we want to have Bengali food. I love the kosa mangso and Lucci here. My another favourite is noler guler ice cream but it was never available the couple of times I have been here. Do visit if you like Bengali food otherwise one might find the dishes a little sweet.
The taste of the food served by the restaurant is beyond imagination. The fish is as good as that served in Kolkata. In fact, better at times. We had 4 different varieties of fish and the team ensured that we didn't get even a single opportunity to complain!!! Even the sweets and misti dahi deserves a similar feedback.!!! A must visit for those who are Bongs and foodies!!!!
