Chicken lasooni was terrible. Basically it's uncooked chicken smeared with garlic paste. Returned it at once.
Draught beer was regular KF. Decently priced
Tried the mixed flavour hookah. Interesting how they prepared each and everything from scratch. Excellent experience . Decent price.
Tipped it all off with choco brownie with ice cream. Waaaaaaay overpriced but worth trying once .
Located in 100ft road which made us very easy to find the place although it was on top floor. Ambience of the place is really good. We all were vegetarians so ordered all veg food. Nachos was completely amazing along with the dip they severed. We asked them to get once more as few people in my group were having dip as they were so yummy ! Good place for going on a date. Staff was very humble !! The only thing which disappointed me was, they closed the place at 11:30 pm on Saturday night because they were not serving liquor. We went to celebrate the birthday there but since it would close much before 12 we had to switch !
Anyway I will visit again if I get chance ! 😊
Really cool place to be honest. Cool pool table up front, good decor, and comfy dining areas. The menu is very rich in variety. We ordered some mini corn dogs, tenderloin steak, lamb chops and finally a Frozen Mocha. The corn dogs were new and lovely ! The steak was well plated but felt a tad too cooked. The mocha was yum too, liked it a lot. I really don't know what different to say, cause this place was actually good, calm and open af. The place has a good vibe to it, maybe I didn't get much since I was there for lunch. But anywho, worth a stop :)

So I had been to indiranagar to shop all by myself and I stumbled upon this cafe. As I had to meet a friend in a while I decided to spend some time in solitude here. This was a few months back when they didn't have sheesha but I guess now that's an added attraction. The ambiance here is pretty chilled out and since it was quite cloudy, the occasional lovely breeze made it all the more serene.
As I got busy on a call, I placed my order for a chicken mayo sandwich and iced mocha. It was a late lunch so I wanted some sort of a light snack and not something too heavy. The food didn't take very long to arrive and being super hungry I started digging in immediately. The sandwich came in four portions and even though I was expecting something light, it was quite filling. Probably because of the generous portion of mayo and chicken but this simple dish tasted absolutely delicious. The iced mocha was decent as well but probably a wrong order from my end as the weather was already so chilly. It tasted quite good though and was a good accompaniment once the ice melted to a certain extent.
Service here is efficient. The place was practically empty when I had walked in so I sort of expected a speedy service. It started raining after a while and the staff ushered me to a table close to the indoor area even though I had finished my meal and was waiting for the rain to stop so I could leave. They also have a decent bar menu which is worth exploring. Now with sheesha, drinks and good food it should be an ideal place for hangout scenes during evenings. Will definitely be going back again for the complete experience as I was in a rush this time. Also recommending everyone to give it a try!
Been here on a Sunday evening, the bangalore weather helped the rooftop seating... Order for a pasta, chicken wings which was decent.
The double mint hooka was the show stopper.
Service was attentive. And the staff were courteous.

Been here one evening tried their Non-veg Platter most of it was cold by the time we could finish it. Nice ambiance for a roof top cafe decent service too.
Situated right on a busy road. But once you are in you will feel the open air buzz. Location great, amosphere music also perfect. We tried the :
#FrozenCappuccino :: Like a regular cold coffee. No complaints but not much appreciation either.
#PaneerChilly : This was good and large on portion. With red and yellow bell pepper this had a amazing flavour.
#ChickenPeriPeriPizza: Pretty large, at least 4 people needed to finish this. Yummy soft, just wished the base was lil crusty.
#VegLagasne : Yum Yum Yum, did not disappoint me at all. The cheese could be a lil more melted.
Look forward to try lot more things.

I had already been to News Cafe, Hyderabad and that was my usual hangout place as it was close to my office. I had to try this place at Bangalore and this place is sexy. We couldn't have hookah properly as me and my friends went in the evening and they make you sit at the open terrace. We asked if we can sit inside, the response was that they allow there after 8pm. Liked the food and hookah. One disadvantage is the noise that you get to hear of constant honking because of the horrible traffic.
Nice place to chill with friends and chit chat. Try getting the corner seat near the balcony for a nice open, breezy space. Do try their Pizzas and Munchies. They also make very nice Greek salad and LITs. Staff is very helpful and courteous, quiet prompt in their service. We went during the happy hours and ended up leaving around closing hours. Good experience!
Been here couple of times had couple of starters and drinks, the service was very good no problem at all, just that the music gets sometimes way too loud and that we coudnt here a thing, on the whole a good experience
It was a Wednesday night and we were late planning for something happening for the day. We reached the place around 10:15pm and started with Bira imported beer, nachos and 2 pizzas. Mediterranean n margarita veg pizzas were great.. we tried hookah for the first time in Bangalore after 2010 and it was great. Owe ordered tequila silver, breezer along with combo of Bira beers. Overall service was OK. In terms of billing we were little confused. We were told Bira will cost 160 bucks but we were charges 250 per bottle and instead of tequila silver we were charged with tequila gold rate. Anyways we had fun this type of attitude towards customers will not make any genuine customers to come back to your place. Nice roof top ambience. Love the place!
A wonderful place to sit and smoke hukah! The ambience is great with a slow backdrop of music. Pizza was great. Loved the quantity of chicken and chees- no compromise made. Enjoyed the atmosphere and music collection.
Roof top... Music is not loud so gives a very good opportunity to talk and not scream... Staff takes care of you and keeps on checking also helps in selecting based on ur preference... Would definitely go back again!!
An excellent place to hang out for the evening. With its roof top decor and lovely music, this place just brings out the best in the evening. They have hookah for the hookah lovers. The food is absolutely great. The services are very good as well. The waiters were very friendly to us. I would say it's a tad bit on the pricy end but overall an amzing place to chill.

The food is surprisingly amazing. The peri peri pizza is a true champ. So was the malai tikka.
We ordered a gargle blaster pitcher and it turned out better than expected. Enjoyed it.
The ambience is stunning. With hookahs and a relaxing atmosphere, it makes for quite a relaxing weekend getaway.

The rooftop treat...when we were in the utmost dilemma to choose where to go for the weekend when all the major tables were already booked we found news cafe on the way..checked out the reviews in zomato which were pretty chilled out so walked in... it didnt let us down.. Lasagne was yummm..

I have visited news cafe for a couple of brunches and the brunch seemed pretty good. Wide range of choices for a Sunday brunch and a happening environment on a Sunday afternoon which makes you dance. Though the organising part can be improved on.

Went there a couple of months back - nice ambience, good food. The Bunny chow, which is the specialty and is a favorite fast food item in South Africa, is recommended.
Me and my colleagues ended up going to this place on a weekday as it was near to our office. But we were disappointed to see the place deserted.
Its a open rooftop restaurant with a nice and cosy ambience. One has to sit outdoors to enjoy the view and the weather. 😍

I'm new to Bengaluru and this is one of the best places I've been. Open rooftop with good music just sets the tone for the evening. The food and drinks are also priced reasonably. The service is good. Ambience is really amazing. Must visit!

Nice place in on rooftop with ample seating. Burger & Chicken Bites were gud. Asian Chicken, a starter, was a little dry and the Pizza ordered also had the same Asian Chicken as the topping!
The highlight was the service which was quite slow but the attendant Ashok was very warm and took special care of our small kids. This helped us to enjoy our meal. Have rated it 1 point higher cos of that reason.

Visiting this place for the second time once for a party and this time for a brunch both hosted by Spectra 360.Must say it was a good deal for 1.2k for girls and 1.5k for guys.They offered a variety of starters and main course including live pizza and pasta counters. Grilled fish was a little too salty and chicken salad was dry.Peri Peri chicken wings, BBQ chicken wings,chicken tikka and the kebabs were good.I loved the pasta too.They also served grilled veg, stuffed mushrooms, stuffed jalapeños,cottage cheese skewers and assorted breads. Long island ice tea was not that great.Litchi martini and cranberry mocktails u must try.Loved the way everything was displayed.Music was great as we had DJ Oppozit in the house.Service was good without any delay.Had an amazing time here and I loved the place.Would definitely recommend this place for a brunch;) U will not be disappointed!

Now decorated terrace + chilled beer + soothing music = exponential nirvana :) one of the finest place to relax and since this one falls right after domlur bridge you won't get lost while searching and land to some other place that often happens :) food is nicely served altho the menu falls short of options but better to keep it short but maintain taste!!

Was a bit confused when I was told that Beer House and News Café was the same place! Loved the setting which was open with an uncovered roof giving you a sight of the clouds and stars and kinda made you want to drink more! . Food: We had the the Orginal BBQ burger and the bacon and Cheese Burger and they were alright. Wasn't wowed by them, but they were nice especially with a nice beer mug. Service: Loved it. Very welcoming. Although a bit more training on the menu to better assist a guest with suggestions. Provided a smile on exit as well.
Went to this place to celebrate my mom's birthday. Their classic mojito is good. Even Alfredo pasta and salad. Though it could have been a little more better. I found the food to be slightly above average. Service is good and quick and staff members are polite. Overall, it is a nice place to be in with friends or family.

We ended up going to this place after none of the places had booking open. The food is good though slightly on a costlier side. The ambience is good. The roof top area was amazing.
Like the ambience, but it could have been better. Service is a little slow, but staff are very courteous. We were on the rooftop and enjoyed our time.
The menu is limited, but with what we tried like the garden burger, steak, jalapeño poppers paired with shooters and cocktails. The candy mojito is yum!

The ambience of this place makes it totally worth it! It is a roof top restaurant with a covered lounge area, seating area as well as an open seating area overlooking 100ft road Indiranagra. The view may not be exquisite but bangalore weather couple with rooftop dining makes it for a special experience. Food is average, drinks are a bit priced but good. Music, staff & service everything is quite good.
Nice roof top place. got a table quickly. Nice dicor., no roof, clear skies so it looks sexy, timely and good service. Place was packed when we got in, luckily got a table. Seemed liked a good place to get friends and hang out for a bit. Nice and comfy furniture. One draw back, the flooring. They have these artificial wooden plank type things from a Pirates ship. They look good but they move when somebody walks by on side. There were waiters and people walking around and I'm shaking all over the place because of it. I have seen this flooring in a different pub hated it there as well, thought it was a construction issue, looks like its like this every place that has it. If u come down on a busy weekend evening with people walking around, you will notice this unmistakably.

100 feet road doesn't really boast the tallest buildings of Bangalore. So i would put this place in the rooftop categories of dinning. ( though its just the 3rd floor).
Competing in this category it certainly has to be the most cheapest place of all. Including food and drinks, i estimate per head budget between 500-600.
Food is descent and the head chef would love to prepare the food in the menu with your consult allowing small tweaks to suit your taste.
Some starters of your preference, a plate of pasta and a glass of beer should be good any day of the week, but preferably in the evenings.

The seating of this place definitely needs a lift-up... staff was quite ignorant about mostly everything... music collection can't really be considered as "collection" per say... having said that we will give this place a few months to climb up our awesome charts.. won't we? ;)

Overall its a nice place..But I think the service boys were little bit rude ,they are not much customer friendly..Must say about the manager ..He was very supportive and also interested in knowing the feedback from the customers which really feels like visiting the place again..

Let's start by saying I expected nothing much when I saw the name News Cafe and the sign board. Seemed pretty ordinary. But when I entered the ambience was amazing.
The food too priced nominally and tasty. My favorites here are truffle fries (made in a different olive oil so added flavor) and chicken jalapeño poppers. Yummy yum yum. On the whole, a place worth going once in a while.
I had visited News Cafe without much expectations really--we were just thinking of which place to visit on a certain Saturday evening for a quick bite before heading to a musical evening at CounterCulture and some friends had suggested this place. So we went and let me tell you-we were pleasantly surprised..by the ambiance, food, service, location everything. They have really nice seating arrangements upstairs in open air adds to the ambiance. We were even more happy to find Lamb bunny-chow (from Durban!) in the menu along with Chicken wings in peri peri sauce..both yummilicious! A nice and relaxed atmosphere.
On a windy evening , this place would be amongst the best to go!

I love this place! Been here a few times with friends and have had a good time every time I was there. The staff is friendly, well mannered and helpful. They've got good music on all the time and that keeps the general mood up. Booze is booze so no comments on that. The food served is quite good as well (try their pizza)

Decent spot to enjoy a rooftop ambiance with a wide choice of alcohol. They also serve hookah, and have a separate dance floor with an attached bar.
Reasonable service, but the food on offer is found a bit wanting.
If you're looking for hookah places within the city, this should be on your list. Food is good and priced decent. If your looking for a quiet time, avoid this place 'cause there's a dj playing music.
