awsm food but less quantity
This place is not as bad as it is reviewed here. The ambiance is Okayish with regards to the price range of the food items.
Good Stuff: Tandoori Chicken, Veg Thali
You can check this place out when your budget is 150-200 for lunch.
Good place to go with friends, not very ideal for dates.
We went to the afternoon lunch buffet which is decently priced and had lot of variations from standard fare of buffets.
It had lot of interesting options in starters as well as drinks than usual and makke ki roti with sarso sang and chole bhature along with gulab jamun were really good.
Nice option for afternoon buffet.
This place is another all time dinner or lunch spot .. located in the hubub of the IT madness 😎.. folks are friendly and service is good .. the food is just right and it differs when I order your half plate of chicken tandoori but not the lassi.... Best part is I get to spend the sodexo coupons 😂
Good for north indian as you can make it out from the hotel name. Ambience wise average but food is pretty good. Perfect place to give a treat to friends if budget is stringent. I liked jeera rice with dal tadka..Thats my favourite item whenever i come here. Dal tadka is served nice in a small bucket like shaped copper vessel. And damn tasty. Pretty much nice place to weekend dinner.
Every Friday I used to go to this place, the tawa panner to too awesome. And you will get authenticated tandori roti. So I love to go here to have food.
We saw this place and we were slightly hesitant because the restaurant was very small. The ambience was dirty and the place was pretty conjusted. The glasses for water were really dirty and we ordered for bottled water rather than to drink from those dirty glasses. We ordered malai kabab and Limon chicken. The Limon chicken was pretty good but the malai kabab was a little dry. The malai kabab tasted better but few pieces were really dry and few pieces were perfect. We, then, ordered chicken briyani. Chicken kolapuri, garlic naan and mutton Thai. The mutton Thai was really good. I loved the dal and the mutton. The chapatis were really dry and crusty. The chicken briyani was pretty good and also the kolapuri. I wanted to taste Punjabi Lassi and I ordered a Lassi and my friend ordered jaljeera. Thankfully these glasses were clean. The bill was really good and the place is definitely value for money.
Food: 4/5
Ambience: 2.5/5
Service: 3/5
Just a note... the ambience can be small but please make an effort to keep it hygenic.
This place is a solution for people wanting good food at low cost. Their food is amazing. The ambiance of the place is not that great but I'm sure you will like the food. U must try Panner paratha and butter milk for sure.
Value for money.... Any dish veg or Non_veg main course ummmha.... Even briyani is also really good.... Overall very good................
A place in Bangalore where you can get some good food for less price. Sitting is bad but best one for take way. This is a rare restaurant where you don't have pay taxes on your food..
We ordered food online and food quality was good.
Specially starters were quite yummy. You should must try panner tikka and chilly baby corn which was too awesome
A restaurant that every Delhi Chandigarh highway traveler eats when traveling good, cheap and quality food with loads of flavor of North India. The kulcha, paratha and the chicken gravey.... Try everything and anything you can hog upon from the menu.
Never been here, always ordered through foodpanda, taste wise, this is one of the best, especially veg and non veg gravies.
Biryani was not great, just average, not the famous hyderabadi style.
Veg peshawari and all paneer gravies are MUST TRY in veg dishes.
Chicken punjabi and chicken tikka masala are MUST TRY in non veg gravies
All soups are also at their best here.
All roti, naan and kulcha items are soft and tasty
Ordered from this joint many times the delivery is quite fast and the price does not burn a whole in your pocket. The best food here which I like is the combo meals
Had the food delivered at my place through foodpanda. Chicken dishes like chicken masala and handi chicken were good, but the kadai paneer seemed to be very heavy... Veg pulav is a good option to try out... Quick service I must say...
A pakka dhaba in the middle of all the corporates around this place. I find this place true to its name ekdum tadkedaar. The food is close to what you typically get in the north. A bit oily and the salt's usually high. I really like their masaaledaar food. Would definitely recoomend this place. The pricings such that you'd wanna go there every day but then I do not think they gve too much importance to the health. :) Once in a while a little too much oil n masalas is good
Tasty unpretentious Punjabi food and healthy is not their middle name. The lachha paratha are soft and felt like home made ones unlike the tough maida leather parathas most restaurants will serve you. The paneer dishes are also very tasty. And prompt home delivery. In short, we really like the place.
Like the Punjabi maharaja thali here...liked the paneer butter masala and butter roti...the taste is excellent but concerns for hygiene makes me go there less frequently..
Its a cheaper option to mast kalandar if you want to try Punjabi khaana..
We order food from here atleast 4 or 5 times every month... Kulcha, Roti and Chilli Paneer were the repeated dishes ordered from here..Their bread items are not up to the mark as most of times it will be burned badly but their curries especially their starter dish "Chilli Paneer" is their best...Paneer butter masala, Chicken tikka masala were the other dishes tasted from here..If they can improve their bread items then, many people select this one for home delivery..Ambiance is not good for dine in as the restaurant is too small....Recommending Chilli Paneer from here, but it may be little bit spicy, but good.. :)
My review : 4.5/5.0
Well, are u not from south, and you are bored of south-indian food, and crave for yummy north indian food but that too in low cost...Punjabi Tadka is the place to be.
It's situated quite near my PG, and an obvious choice for us when we want to eat yummy chicken butter masala and masala kulcha. I absolutely love the taste, its so yummy. Ambiance is not that good, considering it's a small dhaba, but when it comes to taste, there is absolutely no doubt.
I have known this place for over there years now and never been there till date. I have always ordered food for myself or with colleagues.
The most recent experiences have been on Wednesday and Friday.
We had ordered for Laccha Paratha both days along with some curries.
Chicken Do Pyaaza, Veg Hyderabadi, Kaaju Masaala, Paalak Paneer and Punjaabi Dum Aloo.
Jeera Rice, Ghee Rice and Curd Rice
The Kaaju Masaala is a favorite amongst all of Us and Ghee Rice is nice too. All their curries tasted good.
All dishes ordered till date have been good.
One suggestion I like to make is about the Tandoor... Please keep it clean.
The maharaja veg thali is awesome to eat...try it and u will never forgot the taste
