Went to dine on a saturday afternoon due to mangalorean sea food cravings, best decision to choose the place over many fancy options in Indiranagar. Ordered neer dosa, prawn ghee roast, anjal tawa fry, boiled rice and bangude curry, and I loved each and everything and would like to give a 5 star for every dish served, polite staff and decent ambience, economic and proximity to metro line makes it the best economic choice for a home food craving mangalorean out in Bangalore. Rarely you would find combination quality in a restaurant where you don't have anything to complain about. Would love to visit again and again and again.

I go here often for its Fish Meals during lunch hours from work. Itโs simple, sufficient and really tasty. โน130 for a decent fish thali.
Chicken Sukkah with Neer dosa and is a must try too.
The staff can be a little more attentive an quick with service.
They play songs off the radio which can get a little annoying when we hear the advertisements.

My experience during dinner was not that good..as many items of the menu were not available..you have to check before ordering which all items are their masterpiece as everything on the menu is not that great..

I have tried several restaurants in and around Indiranagar, most of them just being pricey and food being okay. But in Coastal Delight - ย food, specially sea food is worth having like fish fry's, & crab ghee roast. Must try some of the delicacies like chicken ghee roast, Sukka, Kori rotti and Neer Dosa which is as smooth as tissue paper. Price reasonable, ambience & staff fine. Floor Manager Vasanth Shetty is very understandable and helpful in case of any concerns.
This is a small place located on a side lane in Indiranagar. Tried the prawn ghee roast which costed us 300 bucks and Kori Rotti which was okayish.
The prawns were super fresh and ghee roast was spectacularly amazing. Surely coming back to try more items on the menu.
My rating is mainly for the ghee roast as not many places get it right. Also if your craving for some good Mangalorean food and not looking out for a deadly ambience, this place surely makes you happy.

The food is really nice, had been there once and the staff was really nice. It has been a regular joint ever since. The guy named Shetty is very cool and suggests what's good for the day everytime I call. Very friendly and delivers food on time.

Went to this place to find some good Mangalore food. Went with high expectation and the restaurant was somewhat able to match it.
The chicken sukkha was good. We did not like the prawn curry. It was sweeter than our expectation
Best seafood especially the Marvai sukka is my favourite. The fish thali here is amazing too. Very hospitable staff too. Love coming back here.

Crab ghee roast was good. Wife loved it. For me it was a bit spicy (perhaps more chilly than I can handle). Crab was not the biggest you would get in the price they charge.ย

Saw the reviews and decided to pay a visit and we were not disappointed at all..ordered butter naan, hyderabadi chicken and sweet lime juice and guess what everything was delicious..service was very late..but definitely worth a visit..will try their seafood next time! ๐

The best place in Bengaluru to have seafood Mangalorean dishes. Perfect in all senses ...
Firstly to start with is the value for money Thali. Veg,Fish or Chicken all three are great .
Secondly the fish that they have are quite fresh which they say are brought in from Malpe.(Malpe is fishing dock which houses more than 500 boats every single day,mainly used for fishing)
Thirdly and the most important thing is the masala that they have is just out of this world, almost or much better sometimes in comparison to my mom's home cooking....
The varieties that they offer in fish is good.If you are a Seafood freak and from the belt of Coastal Karnataka and miss your home cooked Fish, this is the place to go for ,hands down the best.
My favourite here are Seer masala fry,Bangda Tawa Fry ,Chicken Sukka, Chicken Ghee Roast, Marwai Sukka, Squid Ghee Roast, Silver fish Rawa Fry.
The only thing they might want to improve is the Entrance as it is not quite visible ,,,,,,but hey this place is known for its food ,,,so I don't care how I enter this place,all that matters to me is my tongue and my tummy.If they are happy then my rating is 5 .

Through my experience from all the mangalorean restaurants I love Coastal delight the most as the food quality is excellent, the service is spot on at the most reasonable rates. I especially love the Chicken/Prawn gheeroast with Neer Dosas, Boiled rice with Bangude Curry, Kaane, Pomfret, Anjal Masala fry, Marwaai sukka, silver fish tawa fry (haven't tried the squid though) and for all the Chicken lovers - I suggest Kori rotti, chkn Sukka, Kori Pundi, Chicken Lollypop etc (well I am just trying to cover the most of what I love here). All of these are absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing! The place is not quite a big one but is very well maintained that adds up to perfection! All I can say is I have been staying in Bangalore since five years and Coast delight doesn't make me miss home cooked food, Highly reecommended!

Wanted to try a new place for my seafood carving. The place did not disappoint at all. Ordered prawns pulimunchi, chicken gheeroast, neerdosa, sannas & chicken biryani. The food was mouth watering spicy as desired and had a unique taste. Buttermilk balanced the spice intake.

I loved the Coastal dishes. We ordered for the Prawn Tawa Fry, Fried Anjal (Seer) Fish, Mutton Ghee Roast & Mixed Noodles.
The Prawn was excellent with the spices hitting your tastebuds the way they were meant to be.
The Anjal Fish was a revelation for me. I being a Bong from Kolkata, wasn't familiar with this variety of fish. I liked the taste overall and would definitely have this on my future visits.
The Mutton Ghee Roast was another dish which left an impression. The spices & the ghee were well mixed and the aroma & flavours left a distinct aftertaste.
Not much to write about the Noodles.
I won'tโ rank this place high on decor (we dined on the first floor) but decent enough to bring your friends or family around.

We ordered Neer dosas, Chicken ghee roast and Squid sukka. The ghee roast was decent and one of the better ones I've had in Bangalore. Probably a little more flavor of ghee could have done justice to this item. Squid sukka was delightful and all of us absolutely loved the taste. The squids were cooked quite well, strong aroma of curry leaves with the spices made the dish mouth watering. Would definitely like to the try the prawns here sometime.
If you are looking for a place with great service and ambience, this place definitely does not fit the bill. You should visit or probably order from this place only for their food.

When I saw Mutton Rogan josh on their menu I was delighted although I didn't expect much as I haven't had the pleasure to taste good kashmiri food in Bangalore. Although they don't prepare it in Kashmiri way but it still tastes awesome. I don't like the setup though (they cover windows with heavy curtains as if Bangalore has sub zero temperatures) they have Ac and all but whole place feels closed and dark. In short the dish I mentioned is awesome here but ambiance isn't.

This is one of the best restaurants to have Coastal food. The ambience is average. However the food quality is great. I have been here multiple times. It is not so expensive as well. I recommend any Coastal special dishes like Neer dosa, chicken ghee roast etc here. Biriyani was also good . The waiters were helpful and served hot food quickly almost every time.

Ghee roast is a must here. Chicken Ghee roast is also available half portion size.
Clams sukka, kane masala fry, anjal tawa fry and bangade tawa fry are good.
Neer dosa goes well with sukka and ghee roast.
Kundalpur curry is good and goes well with rice and chapati.
The soup is good and very generous portion is served.
Delicious Mangalore cuisine. Great for families to have a nice fulfilling sea food meal. It is open till pretty late for those who would love a late night meal. The entrance are narrow stairs going up to the 1st floor.

We ordered masala fry seer fish and Chicken Hyderabadi Biryani. There was no use of food colour in the fish and it was fresh and yummy, and the biriyani was awesome with green chillies inside. Fresh food.
