Good beers, good offers. A bit dark place-ambience set as such. And hence difficult to call your waiter for new orders. Music is good. Waiters service food fast. Should have smoking and non-smoking areas

I've been here a countless number of times. The ambience is really good. The dark atmosphere makes it really nice, if at all you're a couple and you want to have your private time. Drinks are reasonably priced. And you'll have to check out the "Shepherd's pie" which is amazingly prepared here.
One of the better pubs in Marathalli area and a must go for rock music lovers. I keep on visiting the place once in a while. The food is nice( I just love their chicken grilled salad;undoubtedly one of the best in Bangalore). Price is slightly on higher side however there are always happy hours..:). Over all a decent place to hangout if you love loud music...
Place is quite good. Better than it looks on these pics. Draught is the best. Order a pitcher. Oh yeah, they have 1 + 1 offer. They offer a free pitcher on the purchase of 1. Walked into it inadvertently. Enjoyed it throughly. Enjoyed Chicken Pestos too. One of the places to visit in bangalore definitely. DON'T MISS.

I landed in bangalore and in comes a good news for my big B from his office we wanted to celebrate but I was too tired to travel so my Bro took me to this place.
He is die hard rock music lover and I guess this place is made for this kind of die hard fans.
Drinks are good u get almost all the options, staff is good... I won't comment on food as we just ate veg (My big b is pure vegetarian) and for me all veg dishes tastes similar
And a very important thing after I hv started following rock music 😉

This was the place that I frequented a lot when I used to watch a movie at Innovative. I no longer prefer Innovative multiplex as there are a other new multiplexes that offer a better quality cinema experience.
This place is opposite the Multiplex. The setup isn't as big as the one in Koramangala, but it tries hard to have similar ambience.
I liked this place as I used to come with a special friend and had good privacy next to the bar :P The starters are very good. We would try chicken wings, chilly chicken, masala peanuts, kaju masala.. I don't really know if people come here for food other than finger food. They have a whole menu for steaks etc :)
The drinks are cheap, place isn't going to attract a good crowd though.
The place is not that much special but I like it. The crowd is less so you can spend a good time with your buddies. Drinks are not highly priced. I like all their starters. Especially egg manchurian and chicken lollipops.
Used to be my favourite place in Bangalore. The beer is cheap as compared to other places like this and they usually play rock music. You cannot talk much though cz of the loud noise.

I am a believer of the older generation pubs of Bangalore. Pubs that were known for beer and good rock music. We grew up to these places and it always adds an air of nostalgia when you go back there. This review largely describes the entire chain.
Food- good starters that go with beer. Their French fries (spicy) are one of the best I've had.
Drinks - its a beer pub. Stick to the tap. Don't try to be fancy
Ambience - dark and good rock music that you can sing along to. Never gets crowded, which is the way I like it.
Location - on a bad one way. Hard to get there
If all the new pubs are pop music, purple haze continues to be rock music gold. Don't let rock music die !
A pocket friendly place to have beer. Have endless chats with friends and enjoy hard rock music if you are a fan of it. The starters are good and have lots of varieties as well. Ambience is good too but will give better ratings to food and service.
A small and not so great place, but whats good there is that they play some of the best Rock songs. From 1970 to today, u just name them. Good place to hangout with buddies. Just sit, drink, chit chat and enjoy their music
This place deserves a special mention because it has been my one stop place to eradicate any office/work blues. It is right opposite the park plaza hotel on the 3&4 floor.
The place will look dingy at first but its really affordable and the food is decent in taste. I don't expect much hence all my expectations were met. A good drinking session with filling food will not cost you more than 500/-. Now which other place can promise you that? Music is mellow rock so after a few beers, you are in for a good time.

Go here on a rainy day to spend a great afternoon. A one plus one on the draught beer tower in the happy hours makes you really happy. The starters and the nachos were complimenting every gulp of beer all of my friends had. The place lives up to its name of being a rock pub. Do not visit the place if you don't like shady ambiences, but you definitely wouldn't ask for more if you are a metal head or a rock music lover!
Music is a bit loud that is what you will feel initially once you are drunk you will actually love it. Neither was it too classy nor even shitty. Kind of ok place to hang out. Take you gang! booze ! Enjoy.

Well, one amazing place to kill your boredom. A bunch of guys and a few drinks is all that you need. It so happened it was an unexpected gathering, say a clash of the titans. The time for the four horsemen and the queen regent to chill for the day. Not so surprisingly, we spent almost the entire day just drinking and reliving the good old times! Although it started with the gentleman's way of drinking, it sure ended with getting drunk lia old savages. Haha. Who wouldn't do so given the happy hours and the 1+1 offers. The food did the right justification. The cheese filled chicken nachos are infact the best i've had so far. The fried mozzarella cheese is an eye-catchy up the menu. And for the vegetarians, the thai paneer is a must try! They have good food, good service and good ambience. Well, you get great privacy and nobody cares even if you smoke up. So the pot heads might consider this place for a change :p When it comes to the prices and the Bill, you would be pleased to see that the menu works out very affordable and the taxes are actually minimal compared to the other pubs. :D

Food is okay! types, but the music is loud and awesome. All the famous tracks of hard rock metal are played. Worth visiting for a short and quick refill of beer thirst.

A very goood place to hang out with ur friends on weekends with the desi rock music and disco lights .The cheese fries are speciallity of this place .the Drinks are of reasonablre price .I have been there a lot a times .The service is slow but still the music and booze does the work on a friday and saturday nights.As for Sun-Thurs its a very quite place were u can have ur dates.

Purple Haze, as the name suggests, is well-known for Music. Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Scorpions and some other far-famed Rock-Bands' classic collections are played day in day out. Enjoy Music with relatively cheap liquor with not so good appetizers. Service is slow and apathetic, but you may enjoy Music while he takes time, so it gets nullified if you have time.
Ambiance is pretty cool as all walls are honoured with legends' photo frames. David Gilmour, Jimmi Hendrix, Jimmy Page and Freddie Mercury. And I apologize for not taking other names. I went there with 3 of my friends and availed the offer of buy 1 get 1 on Beer. Ordered some Finger Chips, Chana Masala and Chilly Chicken. Food was appropriate in amount but taste was average. Do not expect much from Food just enjoy the music and liquor. That's it.

Its funny how we ended up here since we planned to go to phileas hogg and thought that it was at this place and realized that the place has been shut down and replaced by Purple Haze by Jimis. So we settled down here and ordered a series of food items as all of us were damn hungry! We ordered mozzarella fingers to start off with while waiting for others to come and it tasted good and they served it quite quickly. We then ordered Kakori paneer, bacon wrapped chicken, gobi manchurian, french fries and cheese garlic bread. One good thing about all the dishes was that they had a good quantity and all of them tasted decent. I loved the gobi manchurian which is expected since I love it in general. The kakori paneer was very soft, sour for my taste and not so tasty too. We ordered the barman special mocktail and we realized it has a blackcurrant and chocolate mixture in it and ended up regretting the decision. It was okay for me but my friend couldnt drink it at all since it very sweet and a bit weird. For the main course, we ordered 2 pastas, a la king veggie, 2 burgers and a teppan yaki veggie. They served a huge quantity for the pastas. The burgers were also filling and tasted good. The teppan yaki was a sizzler and the rice tasted perfect with the sauce base they prepared. But! The ala king veggie looked so bad. It was basically a white pasta sauce with veggies and mashed potatoes. My poor friend was teased all through his meal for having it. :P
The bill was 4 grand for all this and a beer pitcher. We actually dint expect that much but still, we did devour a lot of food considering we were 6 people. The service was alright and the ambiance was like a decent pub with good music put on the television. We actually sang along a few songs. All in all, we had fun. I would definitely visit again. :)

"Spacious and loud music",the only USP of this place.Been there on a friday evening and I was amazed with the floor area and rock music they offered.Food and drinks are ordinary.Cost is reasonable for the food items.So overall a decent place to hangout with friends.
Been there like so many times..close to my place also..very comfortable as well..both floors are awesome with different ambience. Best to drink Beer served on Chilled Mugs ;) burgers and french fries are awesome too!
One of my favorite pub in bangalore. I have been to this place many times. They play some awesome hard rock and serve amazing chilled beer with some mouth watering snacks. My favorite is chicken spring roll, non veg platter, chicken drum sticks etc. I could say this is also one of the most economical pub.
They have parking area for four wheelers and this pub is located next to marathalli bridge making it convenient for people traveling by bus public transport.

Music was great! So as ambiance, but somewhere I felt it was smaller than I expect. Tequila was scintillating and triggered all my taste buds. A good place to chill out with fellas. Don't expect more.

Five friends, three drinkers and two non drinkers. After having party at home we reached there already drunken.We three consumed 61 takila shots with high pitch music blast. Great experience with complete blackout till we woke up in morning.
Go to this place for the music. The ribs are very good as well, and the starters are tasty, but small portions. Very nice for big group outings of people who enjoy rock music.

Good place for rock music lovers ambience is good but bit heavy on ur wallet.
Parking is bit rough as it's on the main roads prefer cabs to come to this place saves u on parking ur vehicle
Best rock pub around in bangalore... Great videos as well... But if u hit the place more often, music becomes predictable... smoking is not restricted inside, thats the bad thing though... Urban edge in kundanahalli for that reason is cool...
Purple Haze is apparently a global chain and they have several outlets here in Bangalore as well. Good for loud Rock Music & good booze. *Not that great in food category
As many expects.. the only pub which provides u best environment with moderate prices in the Marathali surroundings(only) is purple haze..
The ambience are good and provides the excellent environment for the people who love to booze watching football. .
