Went for breakfast on a Sunday. Since we were 2,did not have to wait much. After listing our name, we had to place the order and make the payment while waiting in the queue for our seat. This saves a lot of time. Coming to the food, the podi masala dosa was of excellent taste and the ghee podi masala dosa had just the correct amount of ghee. Vada was average .Filter coffee was great. All the food was being served on banana leaf. There is no parking facility, we had to park on the opposite lane.

Such a good orchestrated business that proves good on taste, service and atmosphere. Tried in dosas, idlis and filter coffees and it was a delightful experience. The authenticity preserved in dishes and environment is note worthy. Mush kudos to the lady who manages the table assignments. Great leader 👍🏻

When in Bangalore, you have to visit this place. If it's the weekend, be prepared for a wait. I was dining alone, so I got seated at the community counter. That's an experience in itself if you are the kind of person who enjoys a close up view of a well oiled operation. This place is a freaking MACHINE!!!! Everything I was served was exemplary. The Ghee Onion Masala Dosa was superb, as well as the Medu vada, all served up on a Banana Leaf. Unlimited chutney and sambar, and really terrific tasting stuff. I wish I had the appetite for more, however that would push me into gluttony territory. Finally the coffee!!! What a nice way to round up the meal! This is one place that should not be missed, even if you have to battle thronging crowds to get a seat at the table.

It was the most unique dining experience. The set up is mess-like, with high ceilings and bench seating. Food is served on plantain leaves and they are doing great effort at being green. Food was very tasty and fresh. I loved medu vada. Meals were excellent. My fav was chutney, egg plant curry and avial in the meal. I highly recommend this place

It's a lovely pure vegetarian South Indian cuisine restaurant. We had Podi Ghee Dosai and filter coffee with jaggery. Food is served on a banana leaf. The coconut chutney served with dosai was the clear winner. The ambience is quite good. As per the quality of food served and hygiene maintained, cost is reasonable. Recommended !

This was on my go-to list for months. The aroma of their Filter Coffee always tempted me while I was driving from my workout place towards home. Finally, crossed it off the list - for good, I might add. The thing I liked most about this place is, they have seats by the open kitchen, for people coming alone to eat. So, people like me can eat in peace, without having to block a table otherwise meant for goodie shoes couples or without having to endure nasty looks from a waitlisted family. But, vice versa, when a family of 4 blocks the seats meant for solo customers, no one tells them to occupy the seats meant for the families. It's a strange world indeed. The food was fresh. Served on a beautifully green banana leaf. I ordered the usual dish which I eat to get myself attuned to the eatery - Idly Vada plate. Filter Coffee to conclude. Idlies were fluffy, but with just a pinch of more salt in it. Coconut Chutney was also a bit salty (for my taste maybe, because people were eating this chutney as if they were eating the main course). I liked Tomato Chutney wholeheartedly, but there's a limit as to how much you can eat it. Vada was freshly made and served, so the wait of 15 mins was worth it. Sambhar was okay. I had asked for Filter Coffee without sugar. The guy serving us brought some 4 coffees together, yet was able to hand me the correct coffee. I wonder how! All in all, good food. Satisfactory dining experience.

Good atmosphere. Good food served with a smile. However, it is self-ordered, and the benches do not have a backrest. The lady taking orders had a long face, which put us in little unrest. If you have reached there after a long day, you may not enjoy that much. We went there by recommendation of a friend, but I would say Bangalore has many restaurants with similar taste and quality.

If we want to try typical tamil nadu style food, this is the best restaurant in this area. Initially, I had little hopes before entering on cleanliness and tastewise. After entering inside and having food, everything changes . It's a prepaid restaurant where you take the token on what u want to have, then give it to people for servicing, and they will get u items . "TFC family dosa a must try " - 4ft masala dosa, can have by 4 people. I went with family on Sunday without knowing family dosa is not served. Initially, the guy refused to give a token for the family dosa. Later, he checked with chefs and then given token. The taste of this dosa is really different, I have never tasted this kind of masala in any other restaurant. Chutney and sambar are really excellent in taste. We can keep eating that without the main dish. 😀 They serve in well cleaned banana leaf, keep serving Chutney unlimited. Have a lot of options to eat. Definitely, I will go often to try each dish every time. Water is filled in a glass jug , which is crystal clear. U no need to buy water bottles like other restaurants.

Best south Indian breakfast joint in Kalyan Nagar. Right on the main road, opposite to specialist hospital The place is usually very crowded on weekends , but if you reach here byb9 am in the morning you don't need to wait in the line. All their food items in the menu are super delicious. We usually take Pongal, ghee roast dosa, Upma and coffee. Their podi powder is really good. Which you can also buy from their store nearby The sitting area is open along with the kitchen, so you get to see your food freshly made. Few attenders will continuously roam around with the chatni and Sambhar and serve you before your plate gets empty. Another good thing about plate is that they don't use plates , rather coconut leaves to serve the food and eat from. Very clean and tidy. Must visit to experience it all.

Must visit place for Dosa and Idli lovers! The masala dosa and pudi dosa were just amazing. Food is served on banana leaf! It just brings out the home-feel! They take care of you like their family! Filter coffee is out of this world.

Tried the family dosa here. And it was amazing, taste wise and size was good enough for 4-5 people. Although it’s available only on weekdays and only if it’s not crowded. We got to try this dosa after 3 unsuccessful attempts. But worth a try

This is the restaurant to go if you like authentic South Indian vegetarian meal. Unlimited meal served on a banana leaf offers a wide variety of delicious dishes with rich flavours and feels homely. Though the prices are slightly on higher side, the taste and quality makes it worth.
