My toddler and me love the aam chundo. Dal bati churma thali is very good.
I have never written any reviews on zomato but seeing such a good restaurant being rated so low made me took up the pen.
Dal tadka serves really good homely north Indian food. I come here every weekend for buffet lunch and love the taste.
Guys don't go by the rating 2.9 . Go there to experience authentic Rajasthani cuisine & I bet you won't be dissapointed.
I found them even better than RAJDHANI at half the price.
Try their buffet it's really good
It is one of the best restaurant. The food in Dal tadkaa is best Rajasthani food. The place is also is creatively decorated. Coming to the food, I love dal tadkaa, stuff kulcha, dal-bati churma, paneer butter masala, garlic naan, dal makhni, kulfi, moong ka halwa and many starters.
I very frequently visit this place with my family and friends both. I sometimes even order the food online, the delivery of food is quite fast.
First of all, I don't know why there are so many bad reviews of this great place. Maybe it's due to different circumstances.Anyways, My family and I had gone there for dinner. We went with the buffet choice. The food was great. The number of items was not too much or too less. It was worth it. Service was good and the ambience, OK.Overall experience was awesome. Not the ultimate best but not 1-star worth either!
Nothing exceptional 😐 just another regular Thaali. The service was decent and the Manager was courteous to assist with the buffet spread!!!
I do not know why current rating is low but this is good place. They deserve atleast 3.5 rating. Food is paisa vasool, all items are tasty. Obviously Dal Tadka is the best. Decor is good too.
We have gone there many times, food here is awesome, it gives u a complete Rajasthani taste n place gives u a complete Rajasthani look , love to visit here
good food service very good family lunch or dinner ke liye best restaurant Indian Rajasthani food

Dal bati sweet very good and dal tadkaa
Had been here for Lunch. This restaurant has a very nice and pleasant Ambience with Rajasthani theme(Padharo sa)!
Buffet has limited choices(comparatively), the food tastes good. Dal tadka(dish) is really awesome, serves justice to the restuarant's name and papdi chat is also good. The rest of the dishes are fine.
This place is relatively meant for Rajasthani specialized food, theres even buffet lunch and dinner available,I have visited this place twice, both the times we moved on with buffet dinner, totally worth paying, tastier and satisfactory 😍
Moved to Bangalore and wanted to have something authentic and good north India. The restaurant is located on my way to office and as per the display it serves authentic Rajasthani food, being a rajasthani i definitely have to try it. So went to have a dinner with family. We opted for the Buffet as it looks good and price was also reasonable.
Well the spread was not lavish but not bad also according to the price it was good, they had the popular rajasthani dishes in the menu like gatte ki sabji, kadhi and most popular dal bati with churma. Taste waise they have done a descent job, taste was good enough.
Next time i have opted for home delivery and orders some starters or appetizers, again was not disappointed in terms of taste, food was not hot nor too cold.
There is no as such ambiance, it's a simple restaurant with normal sitting, on one part its buffet and other is a la carte .
Service was OK, not bad not great. Location is also good, located on the main road on the first floor.
I had been to this place yesterday. It was a sudden plan though. So I got go find this restuarant on the way. This place has a cute Rajasthani ambience. The waiters are friendly. We ordered baby corn pepper dry .. which I liked the most. We also ordered palak paneer. Which was good enough. They have amazing daal baati thali too.
If you want to enjoy bland food with no noise around then Dal Tadkaa is the place. Authentic Rajasthani fare with a wide variety of food. Sarson ka saag (seasonal), all types of rotis and mithai are must try. A place worth visiting for those looking for a change

Its a good restaurant for a calm and peaceful dine out!
Although the ambience is not very wow.
Food is still OK!
U can drop in her once a while
I tried the one located in Banshankari, third stage.. Food was amazing, my expression was it has to be Veg restaurant but it was not at all only Veg. Food was spicy and absolute pleasure to eat.
I frankly don't understand the overall low rating for this restaurant. It's not that bad, but then again, people have different perceptions!
I have tried both their buffet and a la carte, and I'd certainly recommend the latter.
The buffet is decently priced, but the choice is very limited. Whatever items are on offer though, usually taste pretty good.
Coming to the a la carte, their hara bara kababs are really good! Among the side dishes, 'Dum Aloo Banarasi' would be the pick. The Indian breads are standard fare, but the quantity is too little for that price.
The service is reasonably quick, and the 'Rajasthani' ambiance is quit e well done.
Food - 3.5/5
Ambiance -4/5
Service - 4/5
Value for money - 3/5
Hygiene - 4/5
Overall - 3.5/5
love the food here!!
great taste ..
had been with family !!
toltally loved it ndit enjoyed it ..
nice ambience
and
varieties of food ..
affordable buffets
A very budget friendly hotel. Location is good, ambience is very nice and gives you a Rajasthani feel. The food taste is nice.
The only drawback is their buffet menu. They should seriously considering changing it once in a while. It's been the same menu For a very long time now(around 6 years I guess). The dishes in the buffet are exactly the same, without even the slightest change in their taste.
Recently had lunch with my friends here. Once you enter , you will get the feeling as if you are in some Rajasthani dhaba. The ambience will surely remind you of Rajasthan. Talking about the food quality which is our primary focus, we tried Ala carte and for me it was pretty good, i got a homely taste of the cuisines. We ordered peas pulao, gobi masala, shahi malai paneer and dal tadka and every dish was good. Service was also okay as we enquired multiple times for our order, management should look to improve the service offered. So all in all, it is a restaurant which you can check out twice/thrice if you want to settle down for some authentic Rajasthani food.
We went back to Dal Tadka for lunch (brunch rather) after a very long time. We actually liked their food the first time we went when it just opened up a few years back. Situated diagonally opposite big bazaar in katriguppe it is quite easily locatable.
Their phulkas are as soft as a phulka should be. That hasn't changed. Their menu has a little tho. They serve both buffet and a la carte. We chose the a la carte as we preferred it to the buffet by choice. The manchuri was so so. Could have been better, softer actually. It was very hard. The sabzis we ordered were aloo do pyaaza and vegetable kadhai. Both were superb. Perfectly cooked and went exceptionally well with the soft hot phulkas that were being served as they were made. We also ordered the boondi raita and it was really tasty too. The seating seems to have changed a bit.
Could be better as it was slightly uncomfortable. The staff were cordial and helpful. All in all a good lunch experience. Not bad on the pocket too.
Worth a lunch with family and friends.
Good place to have a weekend brunch. The menu is quite diverse and seems authentic north Indian. Tried the sweet corn soup and paneer tikka for starters. They were exquisite. Paneer jaha main waha ! :-)
To explore th menu, ordered missi roti and methi parathas. They were lovely to have with the sarson ka saag and daal.
Next time wanna try the daal bhati churma thali. Going soon for that.
Nice option for Rajastani Cuisine. You can have dal bati here. Ambience is good but not that great. Service was okay, but food was tasty. Dal bati was real feast for my tastebuds.
Ambience is wonderful. The paintings & related interiors give a traditional Rajasthani look. They could definitely bring in traditional seatings than the metro chairs. But I guess, a metro does influence itself somewhere.
Food quality was good. Variety was decent. Too economical for the servings provided. Would recommend to all pure veggies to definitely give them a try. Between this & it's sister Rajasthani restaurant 'Padhaaro Sa' in Jayanagar, I would prefer Padhaaro Sa as it gave more variety, better taste for paneer & more traditional interiors
You will feel that you in some Rajasthani Dhaba... I would recommend people to go for the Buffet here, rather than the a la carte,
So that you can taste a bit of everything, that too in quantity...Great buffet...and north indian food lovers will definitely have a Yummmmm...
I visit this Place 3 times in month and seriously worth going there... Very quite an clam plc...
The right place for a peaceful ambience and have authentic "Rajasthani Food".
On a personal note I am a huge fan of the wide range of curries available.
The interiors looks completely RAJASTHANI.
You will satisfied for the food you eat and the money you pay when you visit this restaurant.
I must say you can never be bored with the food an their ambiance........
Been there with my cousin fa lunch buffet.. It was like in dabha style arrangements.. Chats , salads, bread whichever u like, sweet, soup, four variety of gravies, wow lots of options n cost wise its too cheap..worth going.. I thank Adishesha Murthy fa telling me this..
The best thing about this Restaurant is it's Ambience....the traditional set up attracts instantly. The service is quick . Food is yummy and quantity too is sufficient. It is better to go for Buffet. I hv tried their home delivery service too. It's worth. If u feel lazy to go out just sit at home n order. I liked Rajashthani lassi n bharava karela the most
I love the colours at this place, and I love Rajasthani food. So loved the ambience instantly. As one of the first few restaurants in the area we would go often. seats were not comfortable so we would order home or take away. Buffet is very good here.
The hotel is good!! No problem
With the food. The hotel is Rajasthan style.. And I guess it's quiet overpriced.. The buffet is also good!! Service is just fine .. Overall you can have a good evening there!!
If you are looking for a vegetarian restaurant serving North Indian food, this is a decent place to try. There's good variety of usual items and weekend buffet lunch. Nice old fashioned ambiance. Today nice old Kishore Kumar songs for good mood, helps during the wait after ordering! Freshly prepared items, from scratch it appears. Our food tasted good and the service staff were polite and helpful. Given the location, parking is a problem, if you are lucky, you can park in the side road. They also undertake catering
One of the best Punjabi and north indian dining restaurant in the South Bengaluru. Most of the staff members are from north India and not know Kannada. But one manager will assist in Kannada.
They were shifted from Kattirguppe to Hoskerehalli recently with the bigger space. Now the atmosphere looks better and have good space.
On weekends they have buffet and alcarte both. Buffet is worth if we eat more quantity and quite good options are given. Buffet menu taste is medium than when we order same dish seperately.
Even they have all the options for home delivery. Ususally we order ghee tawa roti and Veg Kolhapuri. Even they have Jain option on the curries.
Starters are not so great to opt. Rotis and curries are better option to have.
Very good ambience and taste is extraordinary. Worth every penny
Talking about this restaurant i have ordered a thali from this place and i paid around Rs.200 and the quantity of food the variety i got here is insane and now talking about the taste it was 4/5 the talking about the roti the palau the sabzi everthing seems health and well cooked. Definitely a student can consider this place as per the price and quantity range.
Food and service are good. Hara bara kabeba is a must try.
One of best Rajstani food restaurant with quality food and Quality service.. i was impressed by buffet system and dishes available
Best North Indian vegetarian food serves here,
Combos available, taste like awesome...
Must visit for roties.

very fantastic place for party and online food ordering. Quality of the food very delicious and all services are very interesting. saturday and sunday buffet system is very interesting many kinds of dishes are served in the buffet . kindly recommend for Rajasthani north indian food.
