The place is located near Forum Mall and is a great place to visit. We sat outdoors and it was a good experience. Visited on a weekday and the place was almost vacant except for a couple of tables. The food was delicious and the staff was also very cordial. All in all we had a good time.
I always prefer this place for a fine dinner. Bayleaf has a soothing environment with a delicious taste. Buffet has a nice spread too. All d best
Best at its range.. Buffet for the price they offer is unbeatable. Despite certain dishes, the buffet is amazing.
Their desserts range is very good. Atleast personally I liked it.
Ambience :4.5/5
Food :4/5
Service :4/5
Had heard a lot about this place coz it's very old restaurant in town...The quality and quantity of food was just ok....Wasn't that great....the Ambience was just ok...The staff is very generous.....Not very high on pocket....
THIS PLACE HAS CLOSED DOWN
Simplicity is the charm of this place. The cocktail curried prawn salad, served in a martini glass was an elegant starter. Their drinks, which are diverse, are of great taste and the quantity is pretty good.
The ambience has a very homely feeling, and is a great place for a family outing. Hidden behind the trees in Raheja Arcade, this is a lovely place to visit on a lazy day.
Even though us friends keep visiting the area around Jyoti Nivas college, we never made up our minds to dine at Bayleaf. However, last Sunday our group of 14 went in for dinner. It was a pleasant experience. The staff was courteous and food was good too. We were seated outside owing to our number, but that was not bad at all. We received corporate discount as well on the final bill. Sure to revisit sometime.

Very few places with good north Indian food at a decent price that you can find in Bangalore. This place was definitely a pleasant surprise. Even the buffet tasted quite well, where most restaurants fail. Being a hard-core non-vegetarian, I still tried their vegetarian dishes and loved it. Veg biryani was soulful. Having grown up in north India, I can guarantee a north Indian won't be disappointed to find this food at these prices.
Had been here on a team dinner on Monday night, they've table top buffet dinner, the food was great and so was the service.. The non-veg and veg dishes were equally great, specially the fish was amazing..the biriyani and breads were also great.. Overall had a great experience.. The place is also quaint and has outdoor seating, although we had to sit indoors since it was raining.. Would recommend this as a a-la carte or buffet restaurant.. The interiors and ambience is also nice, parking is also not an issue although this is located in a relatively busy neighbourhood
Good variety of food for both the vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Had the a la carte only. Great ambience. And good service. Slightly overpriced.
Really enjoyed the food...their starters were amazing !!! Liked the prawns and chicken preparations. It has both indoor & outdoor seating, though we chose the outdoor seating the traffic noise wasn't very disturbing. Their interiors need to be refurbished, else it's a good place to visit.
Bayleaf is located in a prime location in Koramangala and hence, is easy to find. It has a nice outdoor area where people can enjoy their meals. I tried their buffet and found it to be decent. However, for the price they charge, their variety seemed to be lacking. I did like eating in the outdoor area but it can get noisy as it is really close to the road. Ambience- and service- wise it is average.
To be honest, we visited the place because of the free parking. Had some work near Raheja Arcade and we couldn't find a decent place to park. We found this place and since it was lunch time, we thought let's give it a shot. We weren't disappointed. The place doesn't look like the fine dining restaurants we are used to these days. Rather, it looks old, but not in a bad way. Kinda like one of the nice restaurants we used to go with our mum and dad when we were kids. The food was good. We had ordered rumali roti, Kashmiri pulao, and dal malkhni. The dal makhni was on point, the rotis were soft. The pulao, can't say it was the best I had. All in all, a place worth trying out.
So on day when I thought of spending some "Me" time, I dropped by at Bayleaf to have a lunch. It was quite a surprise to me as I was not have a very high expectation from them. Off let their ratings have fallen down and they are not in the scene of Bangalore's fine dining map. But I still remember they were one of the oldest fine dining restaurant of Bangalore. They serve both buffet and a-la-carte. Buffet price is moderate. But food was good. Specially the non veg selection was too good. Loved their dessert spread. Haven't seen such a dessert spread in that price for a while. Love their simple but elegant decor. It has that old worldly colonial charm to it. Very subtle and classy. Service was good. Restrooms are well maintained. Which is often a rare quality for good restaurants too. Don't know what's wrong. May be they are just falling short in their marketing strategies and not able to compete with the flock of new restaurants coming around. But for a good classic old fashioned dinner with nothing fancy, this is the place. Good food speaks for itself. Hope it will for Bayleaf soon again.
Very nice food and ambience but the cost is somehow higher than what it should be. But you will not have much variety in food and drinks . Still it's a perfect place to dine for couples and family.
We have been here on Sunday with pleasant mind, stared with foster beer and other stuff, we really feel Worthy to been there, nice ambiance and service.
I ended up to this place on a Sunday evening for a light dinner with friends. Ordered vegetables seek kabab and paneer tikka. It was delicious no doubt but service we were offered was not good. After a long wait we were given the menu and water was served. They have buffet option as well but not worth giving a try due to less options/variety. Ambience is decent and you should prefer sitting outside rather than in. Place is good to dine out with family and colleagues.
It was a dinner buffet at Badlega onba Saturday evening. The place is silent with good interiors. The starters were servers on table and were pretty decent in taste, not much in quantity but good in quality I would say. Service really needs to be elevated but overall a decent dining experience.
Love this is resturant! The food is amazing and the service is outstanding.
Since eating here in the lunch we have now become regulars! Everything on the Table Buffet menu
is cooked to perfection. i had tried their taster menu which is a must and the portions are very
generous! Become my favorite lazy lunch place on weekdays.
Mutton Rogan Josh is altimate here.
Amazing Food. It can not get more authentic. This is become my go to place for any Day/Time.
Whenever I wanted to have food in Kormangala area, I preferred Bayleaf only due to the delicious taste of food and quick service. Outdoor seating is icing on the cake. Corn chart is must try item. Prices are pocket friendly. Service is quick and staff is humble. I liked it every time i went there.

This is one of those restaurants in Koramangala that I am yet to visit and hence decided instead of waiting it is better to have their food delivered.
Ordered for a Veg Meal via Swiggy for Rs.250. I did think the price is a bit too much for a Veg meal. However when I received the meal I realized why they charge that much.
The meal consisted of 2 Chapatis, Mixed Veg gravy, Paneer gravy, Dal Makhni gravy, Salad, Veg dry (Tandoori Gobi), Veg Cutlet, Peas Pulav, Papad, Raitha and a Sweet (1 Rasgulla). So thats a lot and hence the price.
All the gravies were very good and the meal in entirety was excellent.
There is no doubt that I will head over to this restaurant very soon to enjoy more of their food.
Good ambience, amazing food. Everything is prepared well and service is quick. If you can get a table outside in the evenings, you can have an amazing time
This is a wonderful restaurant. Amazing food. Great service. Very good ambience.
I had come here recently and had a mind blowing experience. Thanks.
We been there for lunch buffet but as per the ambiance it didn't meet our expectations but the service was totally up to the mark and we were treated with welcome drink as jaljeera and the food was good enough though it had pineapple walnut salad which was something out of the box and pleasant to our taste buds but desert section didn't had much attractions, overall it was good to go.
The perfect place for a perfect dinner. Their ambience is their USP. Need to step up on their service. Overall, the best place for a peaceful meal along with your favourite.
Bayleaf is a beautiful and one of the finest restaurants in the vicinity of Kormangala! I wonder over the decade how I never came here and looks like I missed it a lot. This is now the favourite Indian restaurant around the south of Bangalore.
Their dishes are top notch flavours and quality, service is excellent!
All their vegetarian food is great and full of rich flavours,
Their tomato shorba is class apart!
Tried their Achari Tandoori Tikka which is spectacular, right on spice and flavours. For the first time in a long time I was able to cut through the meat using regular cutlery on the table.
Parking is not a hassle. A must and should visit this restaurant. I will add the name of dishes tried here soon as well.
A review after a long time. So we were in Koramangla on a busy Saturday evening when all the pubs and eateries were packed with crowd. We managed to sneak in here and surprisingly it was peaceful and we got an outdoor seating table. I started having doubts about the food quality since the ambience was good. But my doubts were put to rest when the food came. We had ordered chicken shorba soup and galouti mutton kebabs for starters. The kebabs were soft and tasty but a bit rich and filling. Main course comprised prawns masaaledaar and naan. The prawns were well cooked and the gravy was thick and tasty. Service was quick and prompt.
A nice parting gift was given to us in the form of a gift voucher worth 200 inr for our next visit.
Overall a nice place worth visiting.
The ambience is very good and peaceful even after being in the middle of the city.
We had buffet dinner. The buffet service is not continuous and we had to request for item's every now and then. Otherwise it was good experience. The service executives are also very humble and polite. The catchy part was the ambience and the lights.
We were 7 adults and 4 kids.
Improvement - buffet service without being requested, delicacy can be added to buffet
Bay leaf has been in Bangalore since 2000. It's one of the best fine dine restaurants in Bangalore. Great reception and amazingly good food. They always run some offers on drinks. I have always had a good time here. Special thanks to Beregowda who took care of all my needs! Cheers!!
Nice place to have food with good ambiance.
Your restaurant is very awesome the food are very tasty ,and the ambiance are very awesome, service is very good .we came here to Bangalore to visit the places and we came continuously for five days and Aien hostess she is very smart and she guided us so nicely.I really like this place Ian surely coming next visit.
I had panned and chicken biriyani.. it is good and worth of money.. Ambiance is perfect for both day and night.. Superb service. There are some onions and complementary papad is also good.
Been to this place with my bro on weekdays for lunch buffet. The price are good and the ambience was very nice and service was awesome . They are having good Oktoberfest offers on the beers and cocktails..I love all the main course on the buffet . The best garlic naan I have ever had.. definitely I will come again to this place with my friends.
An unplanned visit while wandering the koramangala streets. Ambience is decent. Food was tasty, a bit on the oily side if one is too much concerned. Overall, good taste wise. Prompt service. Nothing to complain. Nice for casual dining.
I have been this place several times with my friend to have their buffet with drinks. They have fixed menu for it with 3 non veg/veg starters, main course, desserts and unlimited drink. I liked their chicken stater and fish which was really soft and juicy, wherein mutton seekh was just ok. In main course their daal tadka is one the best daal i had in bangalore as of now, chicken and paneer gravy was also good. Gajar halwa with gulab jamun is ma favourite dessert to have here. The courtesy of staff is really good and they were very friendly. This place is not good if you are looking for a place with loud music and crowd as i have seen this place mostly 40-50% occupied. Overall this place is good if you are looking for a quite place to sit and chat your friend group with good quality food and drink.
Best place for Buffet. Veg don't have much varities. Desserts are good. Carrot Halwa is my favourite. Rotis are so soft. Starters are not that spicy as expected.
Nice ambience, outdoors .... pleasant service and good food. Shout out to Govind who served us a good meal and hospitality... authentic food is what you need to have.
We went here on a Saturday for a birthday lunch. The place is situated on the main road, though once you enter it seems like a different world. The service is good, though the food seemed average. Their chaats were nice and they really need to have more dessert options. The ambience is very soothing and the music wasn't all that bad! So, a team lunch or a group lunch would be ideal here.
Tasty food, lovely open ambience, great music. A good place to have buffet. Loved the non veg starters, and dessert. Main course was nice too. Only downside is the waiting time req for preparation in buffet. Definitely a place to visit
The place to be for a Sunday lunch. Just on the main road situated perfectly
Loved the chicken soup they served and the ambience seems so soothing.
Amazing food prepared by the chef. Had gala time with friends. Monday lunch cannot be better than this. Starters were prepare great and Main course was very good.. didn't knew they had been there since 2000.😉. Will visit again soon.
Good and traditional food with additional flavor of beer. I didn't like the location much but the ambience is quite decent. Little overpriced but good place if you wanted to have a party with 5-6 people. MUST try chicken lassoni there.
I lovedddd their lasooni murgh!! Jus Wow :) I had ordered for home delivery from another app . Delivery was on time. Taste was yum and I'm so sure I will be visiting this place soon as Kormangala is my second home. Bayleaf YOU see me soon
Been there for a Team Lunch, place is quiet good with indoor & outdoor seating options.
Four Wheeler parking is adequate & the place is just on the main road opposite Forum.
Summary:
Pros:
Nice & yummy chicken starters
Buffet has a variety of options even for Vegans
All the dishes tasted pretty good
Very good service
Cons:
Place is a little bit small, but not a deal-breaker!
Awesome ambience..... Tasty food... Mocktails... starter's... All are to good...
Staff is also very nice.... And friendly...
Over all nice visit.............
Good place to dine out, ambience is OK, food is good, service is good.. must try corn starter, chicken starter... Dessert tasted yumm... Will I recommend place to others, yes of course... Cheers
Been here for lunch during summer and were really felt sad that we got outdoor seating though it would be ideal for dinner. Pretty easy to reach this place as it is in Raheja arcade near forum mall. If you are coming from Silk board side just before forum you need take right and you will bayleaf on your right hand side.
As soon as we entered we were greeted by staff and shown our table. Even though it was pretty hot outside we felt somehow cool thanks to tress and their plantation. Interiors were good and bar section was small but seems okay.
We opted for buffet which has nice spread overall. Starters were good and main course was okay. I felt there should be more options in dessert section. I really liked their chat section which got nice choices and tasted equally good.
Staff were really courteous and quick on serving.
Overall a nice place to have your team lunch or small parties (as it cannot accommodate many people).
Ambiance : 3.5/5
Service : 4/5
Food : 3.5/5
VFM : 4/5
It is almost hidden under the trees. Maybe that's the reason why people miss it. Went in and ordered kadai chicken, roomali roti, butter Naan and pineapple raita. The service is great and the food is yummy. The food seems absolutely worth the money. Roomali roti was soft as it should be and butter Naan was dripping with butter as it should be. The best thing about the place is that it's so quiet that u forget the hustle bustle of nearby forum.
Bay leaf, though located well, is not easily noticeable because of the surrounding high walls and the trees. So we chanced on it one day while going to an adjacent restaurant. Liking the ambiance, we decided to give it a try.
They have an outdoor dining area under the canopy of the trees, which is a perfect setting for a pleasant day. The indoors, where we sat, also are welcoming. The hanging cane lamps in the hotel, casting a soft glow, caught our eye and set the mood for a relaxed lunch.
Bay leaf, as the name suggests, has an Indian cuisine. They do have an adequate selection of items, but they ensure that every item tastes best. A special mention goes out to Angare Murg, Sharabi Jhinga, Tanddori Khumb, Bharwan Aloo Firdausi and Cocktail Blue Hawaiian. These dish were little on a spicy side, but really delicious. This was also the first place in Bangalore where we liked the Boondi Raita. Overall the cuisine tilts towards the spicy side.
Another point to note is the staff. The polite and attentive staff only added to the good experience we had. They give good suggestions as to what goes well with what.
Visit this place for a quiet and unhurried meal..
Been here for a dinner with my friends, couple of days back, on a weekday.
Ambiance is good. Nice seating arrangement with dim lights.
The staff is courteous and helpful and good with service.
Food is average, nothing great.
Overall, one visit is recommended.
We went here for team buffet lunch, obviously non veg..:-p. This place is just opposite to Forum mall and well located..Interiors are really nice..service is quick. Starters are very good, main course is ok and dessert is also nice. It has a small section for liquor which has very little variety but nice to have such small counter..overall its a good place for buffet lunch.
On entering we had a warm welcome. Ordered one Veg. kabab platter, it was good. Specially, the panner was really good. The service was good. The ambiance is very peaceful with dim light with good atmosphere to have talks. The kofta curry was rich and you can keep having naans with it. A good place to sit with family or friends. The rated are also reasonable compared to other restaurants in Bangalore.
one of the best restaurants in Bangalore Awesome food, nice ambiance ,awesome service
I really love my unplanned visits . Well , I stepped in here for a casual and yet quickish dinner.
But, the ambience of bayleaf just made me stay so much more longer ! The place is so lovely that we sat in for more time that we thought we would.
We ordered two pints of beer for my dad and me and a nice gingerade for my mum. Upon that we ordered a subzi galouti for us. The galouti was really nice . Cooked perfectly and also had a slight crisp on top which just went amazingly well with the pudina chutney.
For the main course we ordered a mushroom matar masala along with rotis and laccha paratha. The Indian breads were really nice. The steward got us a nice thin and crisp roti which was just great to tear it and eat it with a right crunch while tearing it.
The curry was really delicious ! It was rich, creamy And tasty !!
Wish I had stayed and eaten more but this was all for now as we had to go. But the rest of the points are for my next visit to taste the rest of their delicious food.
Cheers :)
We had been here for Sunday dinner. This place is located in the ground floor of Raheja arcade. My friend had come down from US. As they were vegetarians, we ordered veg, I being a non veg, thought I should try.
We had a paneer starter, Naan, Kofta curry which was sweet and very good and Kadai paneer. I would say the dishes were better than I expected.
The service was good. The ambiance is very peaceful with dim light with good atmosphere to have talks. The kofta curry was rich and you can keep having naans with it.
My recommendation goes to this place for vegetarian food and will definitely come back here again to try the non veg food. A good place to sit with family or friends. The rated are also reasonable compared to other restaurants in Bangalore.
Edit: I had been here again with my friends. We sat outside this time as the weather was good. We had Paneer Lababdar and Murg Nawabi. It was amazing when eaten with Naan. The service was also good. A prime location also , just some meters walk from the Forum mall. Good experience.
Ambiance is very nice.i have been to this restaurant for almost more than 10 times now,n never got bored of it.Being a pure veg i try most of the time Hara Bhara Kebab,.Spinach soup & Veg Biryani is too good. Staff is very courteous .
Bayleaf restaurant Bar is an Indian fine dining restaurant located at Raheja Arcade. I took my friends out there for lunch on my birthday. When one of the staff found out that it was my birthday they kindly offered me a complimentary cocktail, which was a pleasant surprise. The place has a classy ambience(though you might find it a little too dark inside) and I must say the chairs are really comfortable. They have an outdoor dining facility as well. The service was good and food was served in quick time. Chandini Chowk Aloo chaat and Makkai ke Kabab were a real treat. The main course and drinks were splendid too. Brokelings
Chegu Ruthwik
Loved the place. Lovely place. Awesome music- Reminds you of your teenage times... It is a lively place with a very good Ambiance ... Price was reasonable for drinks and food.
Service was very professional.
We will visit again.
Firstly, I'd like to that Zomato for this complimentary meal which we converted into a friends birthday lunch. The place is very well placed right on the main road. The ambience is very classy inside and outside is more like a chill place. The food variety is large. The Chandni Chowk aloo chaat and the makkai ke kabab were really tasty. The drinks were up to the mark and so was the main course. Authentic just North Indian fine dining.
It's something unusual . A never seen before atmosphere with all happy faces around.
Coming to food we had ordered paneer Chutney tikka and angare murg which I found extra ordinary tasty.
Our next order was main course which we ordered nizami handi , Roti and seafood Biryani amazing.
When it comes to service well handled each guest at busy time .
Finally ambience every table as candle light above wall hanging lights like candle light on wall.
I recommend this place for good food, good service & ambience.
Wow experience at this place. I had been there with office colleagues for lunch treat. They served us very well. We choose to go for buffet and decision was right. Usually in buffet don't find good taste but here it was not there. Had tasty food and the service was very quick and nice. Ambiance was really good. They gave us corporate discount also. Management was very quick and concerned about their customers. Highly recommended.
My visit was on 17/4/2016 (Sunday) Team Dinner at 8:pmAmbience - Is good.
Food - 1st time when I had been with friends it was good but 2nd time it was okay okay.
Taste - 1st time was good and 2nd time was not that great.
Happy hours - They have happy hours till 11 pm which is really nice and does satisfy our want.
Price - Both the time booked via Cleartrip so you get great deals, directly if you go it will cost you 750+taxes.
Staff - They are very polite and friendly. Nagraj the manager is very polite and asks what is missing and if we need anything that he can serve. That impressed him.
There is Live Screen(TV)
One suggestion from my end is it will be nice if they serve prawns, chicken, fix and mutton fry in starters. But if you are going in team then you can call them n ask for starters and they will serve.
Visited bayleaf for lunch yesterday after a movie at Forum mall. Located just beside Punjab grill, it has both indoor and outdoor seating. We preferred indoors as it was hot outside. There was both buffet and a la carte. We opted for the latter and ordered Murg angare kebab, subz biryani and kesar badam kulfi. The kebab was excellent. Loved it with the green chutney served. The biryani was flavourful and tinge of saffron only adding to the taste. Raita and salan served along was alright. Complimentary papad and onions were served. Kulfi was great.. wanted to have meetha paan kulfi but it was not available.Service was quite satisfactory. No complaints. The ambience was really good. Will visit again
Bay Leaf qualifies for those pretty little date night places that serves excellent quality, rich Indian food. The service is prompt and warm and the ambience takes you OUT of Bangalore's maddening rush.
PS... Paneer Makhni is most definitely worth trying at Bay Leaf.
We were just walking through the streets of Koramangala to try out a new place where we've never been to..
Standing next to Punjab grill, I was contemplating Harry's when my husband suggested Bay Leaf.
On entering we had a warm welcome. On a Monday, you can't expect a huge crowd, but we were the only guests in the restaurant. We were given a huge sofa at the corner, the candle was lit and ambience was made just right. Music was really good..
I saw the review in Zomato and was surprised it was only 3.5.. We had quite a sumptuous meal starting with soup, chaas, drink, starters, main course and desert. The service was very good and prompt.
The biriyani and desert quantity was huge. We packed and got it home and had the next day.
May be they shouldn't position it as an Indian restaurant because they were playing It may cost little more but we can do it. My friend got it done . music..
Nice to place unwind after a hectic day in office with friends and family..
Visited BayLeaf for lunch with 7 of my boys. We were actually the first ones to enter the place that day. We decided to sit outside and management was least bothered to clean the table and chairs for us since there were a whole lot of leaves laying around. So we did it ourselves. Never mind.
Considering the fact that this place has been there for the past 16 years, I expected some great dishes to be presented. Since we had been for buffet, we started off with the welcome drink which was jal jeera and butter milk. You make the choice. Both of them not so great.
Then the soup. Flavored water is all I could think of. Chicken clear soup had negligible quantity of chicken in it. Moving on to the starters. Chicken tikka, chicken wings, fish tikka, babycorn manchurian, mutton shami kebab etc. All were good but i personally felt the chicken tikka and wings needed to be cooked for somemore time. The masala was visibly uncooked and was falling off the tikka.
Moving to the main course. Since I was loaded with the starters I went slow on the main course. Didnt try everything except for the salads and few other items. Loved the spicy pineapple salad and the pasta. Tried panner gravy, chicken tikka masala and yellow dal. I must say the yellow dal and the ghee rice were bliss. Amazing dal. The bread basket had variety of rotis. All were good.
Moving on to the desserts. The blueberry cake was fine. Could have been more moist. Kalakand, rajbhog/rasgulla, jamoon were good. Enjoyed eating watermelon. The rava laddu was as hard as a stone. Even though I love it I had to abandon them. Couldn't bite into it.
To end it off wit ice cream. The ice cream was good. The normal vanilla scoop. But we asked for some extra chocolate sauce. The management provided it. The problem here is with the bowls in which they serve the ice cream. They are really shallow n really small for ice cream to be served into. I suggest to buy better cups.
Overall it was a pleasant experience. May come back again.

Quality of food : very good.
Taste: each dish held its own.
Drinks: made just right. Excellent.
Ambience: candle lit done right
Portion size: filling for two people
Service : understated swiftness of need perception
Music : excellent choice.
Why only 4.5? No overall theme. Individual elements above are each good, but no unifying identity per we.
Great for its price. food was good and drinks. Sophisticated place. They need to add better options for veggies. But all in all worth it.,..........................
Though the ambience isn't great (the seating inside is quite compact) you can definitely walk in for a good meal. Bharwaan aloo firdausi was tasty but the quantity was too less (so I felt it was pricey). We also had tamatar dhania ka shorba. We had Nizami Handi with Garlic naan and Subz biryani. The main course was very good. For dessert we had paan kulfi. It was an innovative tasty variation. They put paan leaves in the kulfi.Overall this was a good experience.
Walked in for a dinner on a weekday. Ambience is nothing noteworthy. We ordered the indianised version of salt and pepper corn for appetisers. It was just about average. For mains we went ordered Adraki murg which was quite tasty and tandoori roti to accompany it.
The best for authentic North Indian cuisine! Nothing went wrong, right from reserving the table to the checkout! And what to say about the mouthwatering food and impeccable presentation! Perfect mix of Cocktails ingredients is the key here! Our Team love to come here again to savour and relish the other items that we couldn't order! sure we will come again
Nice and cool place to dine with family and friends. it is a good place for people to relax, chat and conduct meetings. Recommend to visit.
Have been here twice.. The first one was with my wife before marriage and the second time was on the occasion of friends son birthday party.. Only thing I can say is they are good for their ambience then.. But we didn't like the food..
Bayleaf is 16 years old!! Very nice seating and ambiance outside, lot of nice furniture and green plants around while the restaurant inside has a very private cozy seating and layout with dim lights. The menu has all North Indian options and the Paneer dishes are quiet good over the non-veg choices here. Desserts were average. The staff is also very courteous and helpful and good with service. Good experience.
Good spread of food. Really enjoyed the food. Good ambience. May be they could improve the veg starters a little bit. Nice place to go once in a while to hang out..
The first fine dining restaurant, opened in 2000, in Koramangala. I am visiting them from 2001. Good food and they are able to maintain the standard reasonably. Last visited on 17/02/2016. Ordered one Veg. kabab platter, it was good. Specially, the panner was really good. The tandoor Murg was not ok, Chicken was not fresh. In main course, black dal and panner kadai were good. Butter Nun was also decent. I liked the kulfi both regular and paan variant. Ambience is good and staffs are courteous.
Food is for eating, and good food is to be enjoyed... I think food is, actually, very beautiful in itself.
I enjoyed lot with drinks and food. The ambiance is very good.
Entered this restaurant due to its appealing appearance. Apart from a good ambiance we were greeted with a very warm hospitality. We knew we made a right decision after tasting the delicious food. Choices is vast and taste is amazing. Cherry on the cake was the complementary mini dessert. I would love to return here. Definitely worth a visit.
Food is just awesome. It's a 25 years old restaurant. Despite being a hardcore non vegetarian I loved the veg meal here. Reasonable cost. With juice , starters and meals it cost 600 per person (veg).
absolutely loved the ambiance. Very calm and quite. Food is delicious and a affordable. Worth booking a table for an evening or two.
Food is really great. Tried a variety of North Indian cuisine; veg and non-veg. Really nice. Good ambience.
Outdoor seating, Perfect for vegetarians as well as non-vegetarians. Nice ambiance, serves drinks as well. Courteous staff.
Food is great... Little expensive.. Everthing else is ok !
Decent food but good service. Ambience is reasonably good and prices are not too high
I just love this place....Be it dinner or service...This place is up to the mark...I have seen many restaurants but this comes first whenever i think about the categories.....
nice ambiance and good food. we've been there twice for the afternoon buffet and it was always encouraging.
Good food, nice ambience and good service.Y ou have to try the unlimited beer and food combo
Love the ambience, food. Nice place for two people to go one a lunch or dinner
Decent indian food. Little pricey. Great for take out.
Came back after a long time, place has undergone renovation since last visit, food is still good...
